Return to God's lineage

Could you have imagined that heaven and hell both exist within each person's mind?  As there exist hell, there also exist heaven in spirit world.  If you live according to your original God-given mind, you are automatically in heaven.  On the other hand, if you solely follow your physical desires, you live in hell. 

In one person lives two people and there are two worlds in this world.

Just as there exist good people, there are evil people, good and evil nations and good and evil worlds.  Two opposing forces are always in conflict.  When the world finally ends struggle and make a complete unified foundation of peace centered on our perfected inner selves, then we will begin to see the Kingdom of Heaven on Earth. 

Where do we begin to solve the issue of struggle in the world?

We go back to the beginning of all human struggle.  The origin of sin began with the fall of Adam and Eve.  Their fall caused each person to have two blood lineages. 

The first human ancestor's obeyed the enemy of God and obtained his blood lineage and passed on this fallen lineage unceasingly generation after generation. 

Our original mind is connected to God's lineage.  This is where you hear the old adage, "Let your conscience be your guide". 

One who follows their conscience 100% can become a perfected individual.  Good and evil cannot become one.

Who did Adam and Eve resemble and relate to the most before the fall? 

They resemble God.  God is our father, we say this as people of faith, but is God really our father?  How can a True Father and a True Child  have two different blood lineages?  Does God have a conflict between His mind and body?  The unity between God's mind and body are absolute, unique, unchanging and eternal.

How does man connect to God?  Through one man, we lost our connection to God, through one man, Jesus Christ, man and God can be united.  With a representative of God born on earth, we as adopted sons and daughters can unite with God as our adoptive Father. 

Now in the Completed Testament Age, the Returned Messiah restores God's lineage to mankind lost from the first man and woman who were to become True Parents of all humankind through the Marriage Supper of the Lamb.  In other words, the Messiah takes a true wife and bears True children reversing the mistake of Adam and Eve.

"If you can say that you are one with God, no one should ever be able to separate you from Him. Your body wants to go one way, but your mind wants to go the other way. Which way should you go? You sometimes reach such turning points, don't you? How can God be with someone who is in a chaotic state? Those whose mind and body are in struggle cannot enjoy an eternal relationship with God. That is the decisive conclusion." SMM

We say that we are the son and daughter, but what does that mean?  How does one come into existence?  Through the father's and mother's blood lineage.  The father's life and love and mother's life and love become one together through the children.  You are the product of your parents' love, life and blood lineage. 

You should not live with a complicated heart and mind. No matter how difficult the situation you are in is, you should not complicate your mind by doing things solely for your own benefit and for your own sake.

"Even in the most difficult circumstances, if you try to make others happy and benefit others a hundred times more than yourself, you will be able to find a way to have the situation in hand. I say, "Amen." Does God have a confused and chaotic heart?" 

Do we have such a heart?

No matter what how difficult or confusing the situation is, we should remember God's ultimate goal for us.  He wants to save you and me, make us happy, to always do good for us and give us many blessings.  If we carry the same attitude of God, we will be able to control any situation no matter how hard it may seem.  Each one of us has this ability.  Think Like God should be our new slogan.

We should really see the difference between true love and false love.  Even if the whole world is turned upside down in chaos, you can always find the center of control once you choose the path to live for the sake of others for their sake.  No obstacle will be able to stand in front of you on your path. 

This is why God throughout the thousands of years of turmoil, heartache and pain to bring about world restoration, never was confused or had a chaotic heart.  This is the principle in which we should all adapt.

"When I am busy, I usually visit many places and meet many people in a day. But I can handle meeting various people and visiting various places. How complicated and changing can my situation be? If I were doing all of that for my own sake, I would be really busy calculating how much benefit I get from here and how much I make from there."

Once we live a life of giving and forgetting how much we have invested, everything in our life becomes simple.  We start to live by principle.  Give and forget.  It is that simple.  Imagine how the world would be if every human lived by this principle.  Even the most hectic and complicated lifestyle becomes simple when one lives this way.  Nothing is complicated.  Wherever they go they will find that everything fits in place perfectly.


Blood Lineage

The Western culture has not learned the importance and value of blood lineage. 

Your body's cells are connected directly to generations of your ancestors.  The blood of your ancestors is alive in each and every cell of your body.  We must be proud of our lineage, but can God be proud?

You are linked to your ancestor's fallen bloodline.

You were supposed to be born directly into God's blood lineage, but instead were born as the fruit of the satanic blood lineage. 

The Unification Church testifies to the Messiah returning in our age preparing our heavenly blood lineage.  Evil will not last forever! AMEN!  You should know that the blood lineage which you carry is a satanic blood lineage.  You live in a fallen world born of a hellish lineage.  If you follow your bodily desires, you live in hell, if you follow your conscience, you are in heaven.

We should deny our fallen body and follow our Godly original mind.  Our body desires to eat, sleep, make love with different people and lives only for itself.  The heavenly way tells you to fast, make prayer conditions, serve God, shed blood, sweat and tears for others and make sacrifices.  This seems like death to the fallen body;those who want to die shall live and those who want to live shall die. 

That is the final conclusion.


Your Body's True Owner

Is a woman the owner of her own sexual organ?

This is the answer given by Father Moon:

"No, it exists for her husband. You women must understand this! The owner of a woman's sexual organ is her husband. The eternal owner is her husband. Before, it belongs to her husband, it belongs to her parents. Before, that it belongs to God. Whom does the man's sexual organ belong to? His wife. Without realizing the true owner of your sexual organ, how can you say that it is yours?

So living life without marrying is the greatest among sins because it denies the ancestry; wife denying her husband, husband denying his wife, parents denying their children are the worst of sins. It destroys the heavenly law. It leads to the entire lineage coming to an end in a single generation."

No one truly understands how extremely infinitely large spirit world is.  When we look at the world today, we can think how much hell is filling up and how empty Heaven must be.

God absolutely wants people on earth to create true ideal families and reproduce as much as possible to populate the Heavenly Kingdom.  How can one want to remain single when they know this truth about God. 

God is absolute, unique, unchanging and eternal, so His blood lineage has the same quality and will be unending.  The satanic lineage has none of these characteristics and has an end.  Therefore, we should be proud to have the chance to obtain the pure heavenly blood lineage through the Marriage given by the Messiah which is called the Blessing.  On the flip side, the satanic lineage abhors  the heavenly lineage and they can never touch, see or feel it.

The Messiah and his wife are called the True Parents.  They give the blessing to those who follows God directly through the words of the Completed Testament.  Their families are the ones to inherit God's lineage-they do not inherit True Parents' lineage.  They inherit God's direct lineage and then engraft to the True Parents' lineage.  This was Jesus' hope and desire two thousand years ago.

This was the hope God had for Jesus-to find a bride, marry and give the marriage blessing to his disciples spreading good lineages across the world.  By our day and age, we would experience heaven on earth by now. But because his disciples "did not know the time of their visitation" and "could not yet understand things not of this world" Jesus had to go the way of the cross to save humankind. 

If Adam and Eve had obeyed God and waited for the time of their maturity, when and how would they connect to God's love, life and lineage?

 When Adam and Eve were married directly by God.  We have come to believe in modern society that the first man and woman were married before they were banished from the Garden of Eden. This is not so. 

God did not directly give marriage to Adam and Eve.  The fall occurred because man and woman misused their sexual organs without God's permission and were immediately banished.  The original plan was for them to be blessed into marriage by God and unite with Him representing his external form based on God's internal characteristics. 

How were we to unite in this way? 

Through their pure use of their sexual organs as True Husband and True Wife, this is where our first love was to begin.  With this unity of Adam and Eve in love, there would be no way for either of them to be tempted by Satan to fall.  Their pure power of love would have been stronger than Satan's fallen love.

Then when this love base is established, Adam and Eve's children as the third generation would automatically be born with a direct connection to God.
 
No one can deny that.

This is the absolute principle to realize the ideal family. You need to have the third generation. That is the only way, God, Adam and Eve and their children can create the four-position relationship of God-man-woman, husband and wife, parent-child and siblings centered on God.

Even God cannot destroy this four-position foundation. God inevitably has to protect it. But Satan tries to destroy it. With what?

With the greatest power.  Knowledge, money, extreme power?  No...with love.  Satan has false love and engrafted to Adam and Eve when they obeyed his words to use their love, instead of God's word to wait until maturity to partake in love. 

This false love has been inherited by the 7 billion people on this earth, no matter how rich, famous or great their family lineage may seem.  Every person not blessed into Holy Marriage given by the Messiah is under satanic dominion and not connected to the direct lineage of God.

We at best are adopted sons through the life of Jesus.


Mind and Body Unity

When the struggle of your mind wants to go toward the good way, but your body struggles to take you in the wrong direction you should stop and think, "Which is stronger?  My godly mind or my satanic body?" 

Surely our answer should be that our Godly side is stronger than the satanic blood lineage.  Then you should kick and weaken your body.

What tempts our mind to struggle.  It is simple.  Eating, resting and making love outside of God's dominion.  Our desire for these things are the problem.  And making fallen false love is the main enemy.  Our body loves these things the most.  Satan uses these three doors.  To go in the right direction, we should break apart from these selfish desires which does nothing for God.

So, the desire to eat is a problem. Many people are reading this today. All of you like to swing your heads around to look for the food you like.

You are swinging the head of the devil when you do that. The true owner is someone who makes sure everyone else is well fed and then he eats the leftovers. God would eat the leftovers with a satisfied heart. For the sake of your children, do not play around. Do not recklessly engage in self-centered love.

Why is the desire to eat a problem?  Don't you need to eat to live? 

A true owner makes sure that others are well fed and happy and can eat leftovers with a satisfied heart.  This is God's thinking.  Satan watches for people who eat centered on themselves.

"Are you confident enough to follow what I have just said?  If it were officially decided that all the young people in the world should receive the blessing from Rev. Moon, then do you think that everyone should go that way or not? [They should.]"

Why?  That is the only way AIDS can be prevented. That is the best medicine to prevent the collapse of teenage morality and family destruction.  How can AIDS spread if young people wait for marriage and only share their sexual organs with with their partners?

Toward the end of each speech Father Moon gives direction to the congregation to pledge what they learned by raising their hands.  He has said that even if you think it is a difficult responsibility to fulfill, by pledging with your hands to heaven and trying your utmost effort to fulfill, even if you cannot, spirit world will aid you to complete your mission.

This is the last part of the speech in his own words:

"No government can prevent the moral decline of their society.

Even the best education cannot stop it. No economic or military power can stop the problems. Nothing can really solve such complicated problems. Only True Parents. It is not difficult for the True Parents to solve the problems of youth and of families, and it isn't a problem to build the Kingdom of Heaven. [Amen!]

You must raise your hands and say Amen.[Amen!] Now, we know what our families should do. Even God cannot pull us out. Not even True Parents can pull people out of heavenly unity once it is established.

Neither the power of the United States nor that of the world can take anyone away from it. It is the absolute, unique, unchanging and eternal unity. It is better than God is.

True Parents are the best of the king's messengers to pave the way for you to fly up to heaven directly. That is true. Where a bridge is needed, I build the bridge. Where mountains are too high, I give you an airplane. God's angels come and hold you in their bosom and fly with you. True Parents can make such things happen.

Let's say that you will have about a thousand generations of descendants in the future and already have about a thousand generations of ancestors. You can be the number one couple among all of them if you keep your purity absolutely like God, who is absolute, unique, unchanging and eternal. You must be able to see that God is the first ancestor, and you are the second ancestor. That is what it means by saying that mine is the central family of the blessing."

Before and After the Marriage Ceremony

Welcome to another week of inspiring words based on the Divine Principle written by Dr. Rev. Sun Myung Moon.  We'll continue the topic of marriage and ideal couples centered on God.  In the Unification Church, members are taught the principles of the Bible from God's point of view and how He had planned a world of peace starting with the first family of Adam and Eve. 

Once members align themselves to these principles on the individual level, they are ready for what is called the Blessing Ceremony.  This ceremony is the matching of two people who most likely never met before.  It is different from any minister giving two people in marriage.  Unification Church members believe Father Moon is the Messiah who God uses to give marriage DIRECTLY.  Through this, the couple is engrafted to God's direct and pure blood lineage and pass it to their children who are then born without the ORIGINAL sin connected to Satan's blood lineage.  Father Moon believes through the restoration of family through intercultural and interracial marriages, world peace can gradually be achieved. 

This movement is worldwide with millions of members all over the world. The following is a speech he gives about love and the blessing:


"Have you ever thought about why I give such long sermons? I have a dramatic answer: because I hate to leave you. I enjoy every minute of my time with you. I study each of you, looking at your features, observing your reactions, inspecting your eyes, nose and mouth. I think about what kind of person would be your ideal mate. That is why the matchings (arranged marriage Blessing) go so fast: I have already done my homework!

I'm not talking this way just to be charming. I mean it. A godly person should be fond of other people. Godly people should love and enjoy their fellow men. Whether you go east or west, north or south, whether it is day or night, it makes no difference.

You must enjoy people. That is why people feel so drawn to me. If Africans were told not to come here, they would feel very sorrowful. They would try the front door, back door and side door and find some way of entering.

Why?

Because they would be attracted to the person who loves and cares most deeply for Africa. That is the result of my ideology. I want to meet everybody and establish bonds with them. I want to love all Americans; I love America more than the Americans do.

Young people are most sensitive to the magnetic power of love.

Even before I came to the United States, I knew that young people would be attracted to me, and my prediction was absolutely correct. You are young people, aren't you? Actually, what I am saying is simply that young people have purer minds than older people. Young people are more attracted to true love.


Yearning for People

Have you also been longing for other people? Have you been missing others, yearning to care for them?

Throughout my entire life, my job has been to love people and pray for them. I find that my prayers are answered; my prayers become reality.

Whenever I meet someone, I enjoy being with him or her; I can entertain, care for and love that person. When people are in love, there are no strange feelings between them. It makes no difference what habits they may have. It makes no difference whether they eat kimchee and kocheejang, or cheese and butter. There are no barriers between lovers. Their union is the beautiful culmination of love. Nothing else is more important.

A perfect plus is like a dynamo; it always creates a perfect minus. It happens automatically, without effort. Wherever a perfect plus is found, a perfect minus appears. If you are a perfect plus, you can sit in the middle of a village doing nothing, and the villagers will come to you automatically.

People are always drawn to me. Do you feel the same way about me? If I touch your hand, do you feel bad or good? How do you men feel? How do you women feel?

Many members think that if they could only shake hands with me once, their heaven would be guaranteed. But they haven't had the chance yet. My handshake is very expensive! I seldom shake anybody's hand, but still people follow me. 

Love Opens Every Door

Imagine someone who has just met a woman for whom he feels a tremendous attraction. Perhaps the two have just recently fallen in love. But then that man meets the Unification Church and he completely forsakes his lover.

Then he begins to yearn day and night, even weeping with longing to meet Reverend Moon. Only love can explain this. Only God's love can work this kind of magic. Love opens every door, including the door to the Kingdom of Heaven.

Such a person may come to where I am staying and I may yell at him, "Get out of here! Why are you sticking around?" But actually, if he loves me so much, I am already living with him in spirit. I will always remain with him.

At night, such a person doesn't have to worry about walking down a dark road, because I will take his hand and lead him. He could even close his eyes while walking down an alley, and I could tell him to step down and he would automatically do it. If I told him to step up, turn left or turn right, he would do so without even opening his eyes. That is how love works.

Physically, I have only one body; I am physically limited. Spiritually, however, I can be a million persons; such a thing is possible spiritually. I am known as a mysterious person, someone with mystical qualities, but actually it is not unusual.

Many, many times throughout the years and decades of my life, I have shed tears out of longing for God. When I cried out for God, missing Him, aching for Him, the entire spirit world would open up to me.

You should long for me just as much as I long for God. Actually, people in the Unification Church who don't long for me, who don't miss me, who have no tearful desire for me are not really members of the Unification Church. When you do reach that level of longing, you can immediately achieve unity, and the entire spirit world will open up to you.

Lawful, Public Love
My concept is that we should be people of deep longings; we should enjoy every minute we spend with someone. When we care about others, we have no dull moments. Meeting others is the proper job for people of God. That is what my life is all about. I am an expert at meeting others.

Someone who comes to meet me at East Garden for the first time may plan to stay only half an hour, but he discovers it isn't so easy to leave. I never tell anyone not to go, but people just don't want to get up and leave. This is a result of the power of love that draws people to me.

People are supposed to long for and miss one another. If love depended on appearances, an ugly person would have a burdensome life. Therefore, God, who is the king of wisdom and justice, designed us to be lovers. When you are in love, nothing matters; ugliness is no concern; you can accept everything.

However, there is one important principle in matters of love. It should be a lawful, public love; that means unselfish love. True love is definitely public love. Through true love you can gain everything, even the spirit world. Since you cannot go alone to the spirit world, you need to go with your beloved. Therefore, a truly loving person can open up the spirit world.

Those of you who are engaged, raise your hands. Your engagement is unique. Many of you were engaged to a stranger. But even so, when you first looked at that stranger, you didn't hate him or her, did you? After looking at the stranger, you didn't want to go anywhere else.

That is the spirit I live by at East Garden. I cherish everyone who comes to sit with me, considering each as my beloved."SMM

True Love Does Not Fall

"To fall is to lose the center of vertical love and horizontal love. That's why conjugal love in the fallen world is so unstable. Conjugal love these days can be turned around 180 degrees by one word.

That is the fallen reality. That shows that people don't know where conjugal love should aim. The reason that the world is heading toward destruction is that the order of conjugal love has broken apart."

As a couple, you should be luminous and shine like the sun and the full moon in their principled orbit.  Do not be like the sun or the moon covered in dark clouds in a dark cosmos.

Heaven is looking for a couple which can represent heaven and earth and whose heart is filled with passionate love.   You should leave a legacy of love and raise your children in the atmosphere of such conjugal love.


Be a Couple of Parental Heart That is God's Fence

Economic difficulties cannot crack the affinity of husband and wife. Educational background cannot blur conjugal love. A wife may think that her husband should study a certain field more, but Father doesn't think so.

Love of husband and wife can fill what is lacking.  A wife may think that her husband needs to get a degree or become a doctor to become the best husband.  This is not Father's thinking.  The economic down turn of a nation will not crack the affinity of husband and wife and their educational background will not blur conjugal love.

Conjugal love is the oneness of the love of man and the love of woman.

Conjugal love then should become one with the children's love and then become one with God's love.  God's love dwells where the perfect conjugal love begins.

When a husband and wife are live with God and humankind as their center and are about to explode in love, God and the universe will claim and possess that family. This type of love does not begin with the man or woman - its origin is God's love.

When doves are in love, you hear them say, "coo, coo".  How does a couple in love sound?  When two people who are in deep love meet each other, the sound will be much bigger than that of thunder!

If we have strong love centered upon God, opposition and persecution from the world will be something interesting to play with. "First love" possesses enormous power, like dynamite. Did Adam and Eve live together without getting married, as is the practice of the young people in this age?

True love is the first the last and the eternal.  When Adam and Eve experienced their first love, were they married or practice fallen free love as the young people of this age? 

God wants a couple to love each other intimately and with passion.  When your mind wants to pursue such idealistic love, it will be the driving force to help you push through any difficulties and win over anything including Satan when we are in love.

A spouse filled with true love will love with the oneness of body, heart and blood lineage.  Who loves like that?  Only the husband and wife can perpetuate this ideal.  With a love like this, can a spouse have a fulfilling life when apart from their spouse?

Your spouse is the most lovely object in the world and your relationship as a couple resembles an echo.  Your spouse will live and behave according to how you sound and behave.  This may be difficult to hear when a spouse seems to be acting poorly toward another. 

When a man loves a woman, no matter how strong or masculine he may be, he will not reject a woman who has plunged into the depth of his heart with such a great love.  Men love such a woman.  When one sacrifices and invests everything for the sake of love, all barriers will be broken.

This is partly why Father Moon believes that through inter-cultural and interracial marriages, the world can become one. What grandfather would bomb the country where his grandchildren reside?

Passionate love outside the holy union of God has been the downfall of many nations and leaders.  To keep all the love for the spouse, bachelors and virgins are warned not to even touch each other's hands before marriage.   This is to love 100%.

When one keeps all of their love before marriage, they will be able to give this to their spouse wholeheartedly.  With a love this passionate, even when a couple is far apart, they will find themselves moving toward each other automatically.

We must correct the mistake of our first ancestors who loved passionately before they were blessed in marriage by God.  Afterward, humanity's mind and body contradicted each other.  God has used religion to help us correct this problem. 

Once we make the mind the subject over our body;s many ungodly wants, then we should make a circular relationship where God can dwell in our mind. 

When a man and woman whose mind and body are united enter into the Marriage Blessing directly given by God, they will live giving and receiving perfect love and happiness.  This harmonized couple will resemble a flower in full bloom and emanate a beautiful fragrance to God.  For thousands of years, God has longed for such a couple.

"God can dwell only in the love of a husband and wife; all things and the universe should be harmonized centering upon that love. The Unification Church is the place for teaching this content."

God's favorite melody is the joyous laughing of a couple in love. When a couple lives with the mind to embrace the whole universe, laughter is produced automatically. Isn't the loving life of a such a couple a beautiful flower in God's sight? This is not a mere ideal or something abstract;this is how the original world was supposed to be.

When a couple speak, they speak centered upon their mind, personality and love.  This makes them equal, correct?  If a woman from the country with only an elementary school education marries a king, the people of the nation bow to the wife.  Husband and wife go the same way;the wife's love is the wife's love is the husband's love and the husband's love is the wife's love.

When a man laughs, his eyes open wide, and when the women laughs her eyes gently close.  The husband and wife's laughter is relative and they become more intoxicated in love.

A couple shouldn't unilaterally desire their spouse's face to remain in a fixed shape. If they remain fixed, each will become really tired of looking at the other. When you look at your spouse with a joyful heart, he or she will look joyful; and when you look at your spouse with a beautiful heart, he or she will look beautiful. Feel your spouse's face anew with every new stimulation.

A husband and wife are happy when they give and receive love with each other.  If the husband was to strike his wife, there is no happiness. On the contrary, when a man loves with his loving heart with his physical power, the woman feels complete happiness.  When the wife returns her love physically and spiritually to the man, they become a truly happy couple.

When a man loves a woman, the women will feel true happiness. this love is not produced by energy alone or fulfilled by heart alone.

Because human beings were created to always need stimulation, happiness cannot be established without it. 

When we are starving, our vegetables will taste good and fresh.  We can eat the same meal everyday with the same seasoning.  In the same way, love should always be fresh and new.  As the days pass their love grows, the husband and wife should miss each other day by day.  We do this by studying and researching ourselves and God.

What can bring complete happiness?  Is it eating?  But eating is only temporary and once you had your fill, you can't eat anymore even if you are offered food from the finest restaurants.  We will never get full from the love of our spouse.  As we see them more, we miss them more.  Unification takes place here where lovers make a circle of love.

A married couple might have to think hard to the time before when they were single.  The girl felt like she didn't need a man, but once she was enraptured in love in her married life, she could not live without him.  Through this ownership of love, she sees that her husband is much more precious than herself.

Where does True Happiness come from?

Families these days are bogged down by the demands of their lives.  When a family centers their love upon God, and they can see the joyous God working in their lives, then true happiness is generated.  In God's original ideal when He was creating, making love between husband and wife was not something in which o be ashamed.  He created love to be the noblest, holiest and most beautiful thing in all creation.  The beginning of this reversal in love began with our first ancestor who sin by misusing God's love.

There are now 7 billion men and women in the world, but husband and wife should think that their spouse is the only one in existence.  This is Principle that a couple totally invests themselves in their spouse alone.  Would a couple who thinks this way, stray toward another person or wish for a better spouse?

The value of love lies in longing.

When you actively initiate love by asking for love with your mouth and your eyes, then your spouse will be happy to pour their love to you in return or else he would run away.  Wouldn't a spouse feel bad if their spouse was only passive or not serious in love?  We always want to be together with our lover because it feels good to be close and when we are together, everything functions simultaneously.  We can see God's love and investment through a couple such as this.

Which love is better, the love where two people shout in a crowded room, "love you" or the couple that expresses their love silently.   Deep love kept silent within the heart of a couple is very precious.

Here in America, love is active while in the Oriental culture love is internal.  Waves are high in shallow water and gentle in the deeper part of the ocean.  The waves of love also get quieter in depth, so in this sense, invisible love is more precious than visible love. 

What about God?  What would happen if he was a walking, visible God?  Every nation would fight even more wars just to possess such a limited being  within their boundaries.  Fortunately, God is invisible which is the most precious.  Because God dwells inside our invisible mind, nobody can steal him from us.

What if love was visible?

 It would be no fun.  Invisible love is the greatest love of among all love.  Because love is invisible like God, it can be the highest, widest, and deepest.  Love is compared to the Rocky Mountains and the Niagara Falls to describe love's deep, rugged qualities. 

"The invisible God is precious because invisible love is precious."

In order to find God, we must get rid of our ego and become absolute zero in front of God without our own agenda.  God lives deeply within the realm of the invisible world and in the visible world which we live.

When we see an American couple or a Hollywood couple in love it looks very hot.  But this love is actually lukewarm compared to Oriental couples.  American couples kiss each other automatically every morning like a fly touching on the skin and flying away. 

An Oriental husband and wife stare at each other before kissing and they shyly drop their eyes.  This scene can compare to a great masterpiece in any museum.  Also, the scene of the wife carrying the briefcase for her husband just before they leave for a business trip.  An American wife barely will leave the room or turn her head to see her husband off before he leaves.  Therefore, Orientals who are aware of the Western life style don't want to get married to an American woman.

The conversation of a loving couple is much more beautiful than any poem or any picture in the world. How beautiful words are, such as "between lovers," "between ourselves," or "you and me"!

When God blesses human beings, He creates the environment for the couple to be happy. The couples who enter the door of such blessing don't fight with each other right away. After entering the door of love, they are busy exchanging whispers such as, "I've been waiting to meet you for a long time. My life will bloom with the flowers of value through you. I was born to love you and waited to love you until now." There is nothing sweeter than the confidential talk of love.

God creates an environment in which a couple can be happy when he blesses them together.  A couple united in this love will not fight with each other right away, but will be happy and be appreciative for such a spouse.  This type of couple will tell one another how they have longed to meet them and how their life will bloom in value through them. They will say, "I was born to love you and waited to love you until now." 

"Their is nothing sweeter than the confidential talk of love."

The married couple's whispering of love is the most effective refrigerant to cool off all the fatigue and the hatred in the world.

A couple shouldn't demand love forcibly from each other. Love is natural, so the confidential talk of love is soft and beautiful.

Before marriage a man looks creepy and scary to a wife, but the woman's heart quickly changes after marriage.  After knowing this love, she would gratefully take a nap in her husband's bosom.  Such a woman will do whatever it takes to be with her husband as much as possible and ask him to come home for lunch.

Likewise, a man after knowing love, wants to sleep on his wife's lap whenever he finds leisure time, so he rushes right home at a coffee break or at lunch time. After marriage, he can do whatever the wife wants without a moment's hesitation -- even things that he formerly considered totally belonging to women. This is the typical change which takes place in a married couple with true love centered on God.

Don't Doubt in Dark What God Told You in Light

The following text was given by Rev. Tom Cutts is the District Director of the six Southern states of Florida, South Carolina, Georgia, Alabama, Mississippi, and Louisiana. He and his wife, Angelika, were matched by True Parents and Blessed with 2075 Couples in Madison Square Garden in 1982. They have three sons and one daughter:

My friends, you were chosen to be free. So don't use your freedom as an excuse to do anything you want. Use it as an opportunity to serve each other with love. All that the Law says can be summed up in the command to love others as much as you love yourself. But if you keep attacking each other like wild animals, you had better watch out or you will destroy yourselves.

If you are guided by the Spirit, you won't obey your selfish desires. The Spirit and your desires are enemies of each other. They are always fighting each other and keeping you from doing what you feel you should. But if you obey the Spirit, the Law of Moses has no control over you.





People's desires make them give in to immoral ways, filthy thoughts, and shameful deeds. They worship idols, practice witchcraft, hate others, and are hard to get along with. People become jealous, angry, and selfish. They not only argue and cause trouble, but they are envious. They get drunk, carry on at wild parties, and do other evil things as well. I told you before, and I am telling you again: No one who does these things will share in the blessings of God's kingdom.

God's Spirit makes us loving, happy, peaceful, patient, kind, good, faithful, gentle, and self-controlled. There is no law against behaving in any of these ways. And because we belong to Christ Jesus, we have killed our selfish feelings and desires. God's Spirit has given us life, and so we should follow the Spirit.

Galatians 5:13-26

“…what God has spoken to you in the Light.” Has God spoken to you? I have neighbors and relatives who don’t believe there is a God. There are others who believe that God created everything, but they cannot imagine that this Creator can personally relate to them, care about them, wants them to be happy, and wants the best for them.

I was in Las Vegas last month for an International Leadership Conference, and one participant from our district told me he was an atheist. I’ll call him Steve, though that is not his name. Steve does not believe in God. He certainly does not believe that there is a God who can speak to him. But while he was in Vegas he had a curious experience.

When Steve arrived at our hotel, he saw three teenage girls get out of a car. They wore high heel shoes, bright colored hot-pants, fishnet stockings, tops that exposed their tummies, and lots of make-up. They were teenage prostitutes.

Steve has two daughters himself, and when he saw these girls he actually started sobbing. Right there in his taxi, he broke down in tears. He surprised himself by how upset he was. Steve shared this experience with me, and challenged me saying, “How can you say there is a God? If there was a God, He wouldn’t let these young girls’ lives be ruined this way.”

I said to him, “Steve, your reaction, proves to me that there IS a God. You could have lusted for the girls, or judged them in disgust, or simply ignored them. Instead you felt the heart of a concerned father. Don’t you find it amazing that you cried for kids whom you had never met before? Where did that emotion come from? It didn’t just come out of the thin air.”

There has to be a source of our personality and our emotions. Not only did God create our physical bodies, but he is also the source of our personality and emotions. That means that God is a Being of Personality and Emotion. That’s why we refer to God as Heavenly Father.

He is a real Being who suffers when any of His children are abused. Through Steve’s emotions, God was speaking to him. Steve was experiencing the heart of God when he shed tears for those three girls. I don’t think I convinced him that God exists, but I did get him to wonder about his own passionate reaction, and where those powerful feelings came from.

The founder of our church, the Reverend Sun Myung Moon, has established a special mission in Las Vegas. Right now there is a saying that, “What happens in Vegas, stays in Vegas.” This means that people go to Vegas to do all sorts of things. Things they would rather the folks back home not know about. So, their naughty secret “stays in Vegas”. Rev. Moon wants to change the whole environment there. He wants Las Vegas to become known worldwide as a good place for families.

To make that change Rev. Moon is promoting Absolute Sexual Morality. Fundamentally, this means that people remain sexually pure until they are married, and when married, they only have sex with their spouse.

Absolute Sexual Morality is a lot more than not having sex with the wrong partner. It is a lot more than “no spare keys” to your sexual organ. It also means that you direct all your sexual desire and feelings toward your spouse.  No seductive thoughts and behavior for anyone else.

I am very concerned about young men who are involved in pornography. Easy access on the Internet has made pornography a big problem. Pornography addiction makes it really difficult to establish a loving and sexually fulfilling relationship in a marriage. One of the leaders in our youth movement, CARP, said that she found that the older teenage boys with the strongest addictions to pornography started looking at pornography when they were 8 and nine years old.

Of course, at that age boys don’t have strong sexual feelings. But as they get older, hormones kick in, and if they masturbate looking at pictures, that delicious feeling becomes powerfully imprinted in their minds. Hormones bond them to that first sexual experience. They “fall in love” with sex.

They need to repeat the same kind of experience in order to feel sexually satisfied. This makes it really difficult to be sexually fulfilled with a wife. Several of the marriages of our Second Generation (children born into the movement through parents matched by Rev. Moon) have ended in divorce because the husband was addicted to pornography.

God intended for your first delicious sexual experience to be with your eternal spouse. Then you fall in love with the person who made you feel so wonderful. You won’t fall in love with “sex”, but with your spouse. Some kids think that if they don’t “go all the way” there won’t be any problem. But making out stirs up those same bonding hormones. And again, we fall in love with sex. This is why dating is not allowed in (the Unification Church) Absolute Sexual Morality.


God wants us to have tremendous joy in our love relationship with our spouse. The Absolute Sexual Morality is not a curse from God where he tells us “Don’t do this” or “Don’t do that.” Based on the way we are designed, Absolute Sexual Morality is actually a gift from Heavenly Father.

Practicing Absolute Sexual Morality can help us establish wonderful lasting marriages. So, please protect not only your body but your heart.

The sermon title today is “Don’t Doubt in the Dark, what God has spoken to you in the Light.” God speaks to us in many ways. He can speak to us through our feelings as he did with Steve. Or He can give us intuitions to go stand in a particular spot in a ballroom. Or He can give us powerful insights that help guide our lives. Some people hear God speak with an almost audible voice. God also speaks to us through other people.

God can speak through the most unlikely people. One time I was leading a fundraising team in Connecticut, and I couldn’t decide on the next area to go to. We were in a little town, and I pulled the van off the road and searched the map for our next area. I couldn’t decide and was becoming paralyzed by indecision.

Out of the corner of my eye, I caught sight of some movement outside my window. There was a drunk looking in at me. He had dirt and leaves in his hair, a scraggly beard, and his head wobbled around unsteadily.

His eyes were not focused. Carefully, I cracked my window to see what he wanted. I was shocked by what this drunk said to me. He slurred, “Just make a decision.”

Has God ever yelled at you through a drunk?

I hope that God will speak to you today. In the Bible, it is recorded that God spoke to a prophet through a donkey. Hopefully, He can use me to speak to you today. Two weeks ago, our second son, Daniel, called home from Australia. He is on the Oceania Leadership Team (OLT). He was calling to say he was flying to Fiji the next day. He would be leading a team for the next forty days. In a couple of emails he mentioned that he was having experiences with the heart of God. So, I asked him how God had spoken to him.

He shared how he was the team assistant for the past forty days. The team was fundraising, but his teammates were bad about getting out of the van to go fundraising. They would reach their drop off point, and spend a lot of time getting out. Daniel was trying to get them ready before reaching the drop off point. One day he thought he had everyone ready, but they were worse than ever. He got so angry with the team. He felt they were not concerned about the team, but were focused only on themselves.

Later that day, Daniel had a showdown prayer with God. Daniel realized that his being upset toward his team was a tiny taste of how God might feel towards His rebellious children. But more profoundly, Daniel realized that he himself had caused God to suffer, when Daniel was more focused on himself and his own schedule. Daniel repented deeply with tears. And in his tears he even found a more parental attitude toward his teammates.

Our movement (Unification Movement) has a number valuable programs for our young people. Programs like STF, OLT, and Jr. STF give our sons and daughters opportunities to put the Divine Principle into action. We are not called to just believe, but we are to mature our character. And that takes time, making good choices and practice.

I am really grateful to the OLT experience my son is having. We talked for nearly two hours. At the end of that Daniel told me how much he enjoyed talking with me. In the past, our conversations were rarely longer than a few minutes. Parents will understand what a joy it is to have a longer conversation with your child. I hope all of our youth can participate in programs like OLT and STF.

And parents, it is not enough to just come to church on Sunday. All of us need to mature our character. Spiritual maturity is not automatic. It takes intention, making good choices, and practice.

Our Bible reading today (above in Galatians) lists the qualities of spiritual maturity and good character. If we are in God’s Spirit we are to be loving, joyful, kind, patient, peaceful, self-controlled, and faithful. So, how does God produce these fruits of the Spirit in us?

If you want to be a loving person, do you think God will just “abracadabra” make you a loving person? No way? If God is trying to make you a loving person, do you think He will put people around you who are easy to love? No way? It doesn’t require much maturity to love people who are easy to get along with. To help you grow, God will put you in the exact opposite circumstance, where you have to make a choice, and practice loving. Then your character will mature.

Heavenly Father has each of us on a character education course. And this explains one aspect of the “Dark” mentioned in the title of our sermon. If God is maturing the quality of peacefulness in you, you might be thrown into the darkness of chaos. Or if God is maturing the quality of joyfulness in you, you might find yourself in the darkness of sorrow.

The key to growth is making the right choices. God gives us opportunities to mature our character. We can respond in fear and run away, or we can take a risk, and gain the victory. After winning smaller victories, God gives us opportunities for larger and larger victories.

King David didn’t just go out one day and slay Goliath. God gave him opportunities while tending sheep. David could have been afraid and run away, but he took the risk, and was victorious. Based on this small victory, God sent a lion to threaten the flock.

David could have been afraid and run away. But he took the risk, and got a bigger victory. Then God sent a bear to threaten the flock. David could have been afraid and run away. But again, he took the risk, and got an even bigger victory. Based on this training, God prepared David to face the giant Goliath. And in the end, David was ready to tend not only sheep, but all the Hebrew tribes.

I am sure that David had some failures. He probably lost some sheep. But he did not focus on his failures. He kept his victories foremost in his mind.

Have you ever bought a car and then the next day notice how many other cars have the same color as yours? The number of cars with the color of yours did not change overnight. But your mind was attuned to the new color, and began seeing more cars of the same color.

Your mind is a powerful tool. We tend to find what we are looking for.

When I was on MFT, I had a great time. Of course I faced rejection and physically it was hard work. But I focused on the joy I experienced with the last sale. That was what kept me going, and of course, the next sale always came.

One brother in our district came to me and said he was having trouble finding a job. He mentioned that the economy was tanking out, and he was being rejected everywhere he went. He was worried that he would be rejected again. He knew that with that attitude, he probably would be.

As we spoke, I was reminded of a story I heard about True Father (Reverend Moon) and one of the church businesses in Korea. The manager wanted to fire one of the older employees. But Father said the employee could not be fired. The manager said the old man was not producing and paying him was a waste of money. Then True Father explained that the old man was bringing God’s blessing to the company.

And this brings us to our conclusion. As God’s sons and daughters, YOU are bringing God’s blessing to your tribe, to your neighbors, and to your workplace. Have confidence that God wants to bring his Blessing to others through you. Build confidence by remembering your victories, and finally never forget, “Don’t Doubt in the Dark, What God Has Spoken to /you in the Light."

Cheating is Cheaters Fault No Exception

How could someone make such a stupid statement?  First off, whether you believe in God or whether you do not believe and refuse to follow His strict laws, He has placed rules from the beginning that lead to blessings and if we refuse to follow those decisions lead to curses.  This is an absolute law which can not be even violated by God.

One of the laws is that his children are to stay pure until they mature.  Which means, before they are to marry they should mature their spirits before thinking about the opposite sex.  God isn't a 'try it out' God.  He supposed that man and woman would remain faithful to Him and grow with Him through His word before He would marry them to another. 

Seems extreme, but you see it in the bible when it speaks about humanity should remain as brides and bridegroom until the coming of the Lord.  So even though we are single, we should act as if Jesus or the feminine Holy Spirit is our counterparts until the marriage blessing. 

In other words, every man should stay faithful to God until they are blessed until marriage and thus offer their body parts, the most holy place, to their spouses. 

Even those who have no belief in God will cry uncontrollably when their spouse shares the most sacred part to another woman.  Also, parents will have opposition to their children experiencing sex or having children before they are out of high school.  This is because they sense God's law without having a belief in him.

Of course, there are the exception of wife swapping and parents who encourage sex in their teens, I have known acquaintances that do such.  Are they truly happy?  Hell, no.  Not in the end, destruction and high emotions, there is suffering and sadness on this path. 

Back to the idea that single people are to have the thought they have God as a counterpart through the ideal of Jesus or the feminine Holy Spirit.  That means, even if we are single, when we overly desire or have sex before we are in the marriage of God, we betray God.  We 'cheat on him'  So in short, everything done with the desires of being with someone else outside of our spouse's relation, is a betrayal to God and secondly our spouse.  Period. 

Hard pill to swallow.  Once millions recognize this and truly live by this standard you will see a miraculous overnight revival in America of no more babies out of wedlock, fidelity in marriage and a lot more healthy people unbroken caused by a string of broken relationships.

Well, if one looks at it from the position of the cheater or from the position of the one who helped the cheater cheat, this universal law seems unidealistic.  I am looking from the position of God's point-of-view.  If God could be a judge in court presiding over a case of a wife and husband and the wife had never listened to the husband when he needed her and did not fulfill her portion of responsibility as a wife, then the husband kisses and makes out with his coworker offering his attentions to her who is at fault? 

  Most people would be on the side of the one who was being neglected in the marriage.  What if this same scenario and we find out instead of cheating the husband beats the wife to get her to be nice or do as he wants.  What's the difference?  I thought it was the one who was ignoring the spouse fault and the other can do as they please to "get back" at that spouse.  Isn't that in essence what cheating is?  Yes, this would be true by today's standard and by the standard of reality television shows.

When we look from a higher point-of-view even beyond religion and just by the rule of God, would God say that the husband was in the right?  Absolutely not.

First of all in order to cheat, one not only violates the contract of their relationship, but they also have violated their contract with God.
Before any of us decides to settle down we are no doubt born as individuals who grow as individuals until maturity.  God had told us it was during this time that we should make our spirit strong and grow in love with God into maturity.  But we as humanity do not mature our spirits at all before we link ourselves to another.  All relationships after Adam and Eve have been between two spiritually immature people entering into oneship and multiplying their immature spirit and problems to their children, family and into society.  So, yes, you and I and every human was born with sin.

God expects that before we enter in marriage every human is to wait for their bride, which means we have the Lord as our husband or Holy Spirit as the wife until we marry.

This means even single people should not enter into relationships that could perpetuate the fall over again.


Cheating Repeats the Fall 

If one falls with another being to whom they are not married, they have violated their connection to God and have to amend the situation to be forgiven and return to their rightful position.  No matter what another person does, there is nothing on this earth that should be blamed for the fact that a person broke their covenant with God.

Some say that Abel's arrogance of making fun of Cain's offering caused rage in Cain.  Even if Cain had the right to kill his brother, it does not change the fact that his brother is gone from the earth before he could accomplish God's Will.

This is why it is crucial that an individual  mature their spirit before they think about another individual  to the level that no matter what, to the point of death, they want to please God and take their purity in front of God and protect it. This is the only way that two people who have this kind of standard can keep a Godly marriage solid.

There no doubt should be any blame taken from the other person, for why people stray, but they are not to blame for a person betraying God.  Nothing is excusable for this.  Try explaining to God like Job did about his own indiscretions throughout life and see how far you get with, "but she nagged me, she didn't love me enough".  Might work with human society but God does not play when it comes to His word. 

Thank God that He gives each of us chances to start anew after paying for our mistakes we can return to zero.


Cheating Waves a Bigger Sign

If you delighted in the movie "When Harry Met Sally" you may remember the scene when Harry tells his best friend at the ball game about his wife on the same day he finds out she is moving out and first time he realizes it is to live with another man.  His friend says that cheating is not the problem it is a symptom that something is wrong in the marriage.  Harry says, "Well, that symptom is f*&king my wife!"

If a man betrays the trust of a marriage and it is his fault, why do women want to beat the heck out of the other woman?  Because she is the fruit of what is wrong in their marriage in the first place.  A woman's problems with her husbands can drive him to do something wrong, including drugs, abuse and sex with another woman, but these are just the outward appearance of hidden problems within their marriage and they can 'beat' or blame this symptom as a kind of relief.

God desires absolute, unique and eternal love. Do we all have five senses? (Yes.) Why do they exist? Only the power of love is able to mobilize these five senses to the core. When these five senses are mobilized into one point, it is called the love core. Then between plus and minus at the core they make a spark which is the action of love-making. It is like lightening and thunder. When your five senses are focused on this love core, do you want to have ten focal points or one central point?

We want one.

Absolutely one. Through marriage, the plus and minus love pillars come together and create a spark which will light the entire world. That particular lightning and thunder of the action of love-making will light the entire world.

We have two eyes, but when we look at one object we focus on one point. Even our eyes are formed in such a way. Then as husband and wife we can never look at someone else in an unprincipled way. In order to be able to enter the Kingdom of God as blessed couples, we should carry our plus and minus light pillars and create this spark, lightning and thunder throughout eternity.

Without doing so we will not be able to enter the Kingdom of God. As husband and wife we know how many poles or pillars we have within our heart. One central pole for our spouse or other poles? If we have so many poles centered on so many people in the position of husband and wife, we should be considered trash cans. This represents the worst kind of hell.

The Fall of Humans Isn't a Literal Fruit

Here are three clues to what God was telling Adam and Eve to not partake in or else they would die. 

1. Adam and Eve were naked and unafraid to be naked until they 'ate of the fruit'.   I thought you cover your transgressions, why cover your private parts for the first time after eating fruit?  2. God told Adam and Eve that they would die.  Is God a liar?  God does not lie, Adam and Eve did die ... spiritual death happens when we are separated from God.  Let the dead bury the dead.  This is just the start to let us stop telling satan's lie about the fruit being just an edible fruit.

 

The third one, satan throws right in front of our faces everyday because he is so confident that you and I are so blind to the truth.  Just look up Adam and Eve on the Internet and you will be inundated with so much adult material and even adult stores named after the pair.  Right in our face, Satan not only uses our bodies as his playground but flat out dances in front of our faces how he was able to do it.

How many argue that the reason why all of humanity fell below the level of humans and angels was all because of a simple fruit?  Mostly all.  How many are willing to accept that the fruit was not literal and it stands for something else and this something else is being perpetuated in our society keeping us under the dominion of Satan.  Only a few.

Is free sex in America and throughout the world the expression of God’s philosophy of the Kingdom or the devil’s philosophy of hell? It is the philosophy of hell run rampant, creating hell both on earth and in heaven. Everyone who follows this trend is doomed

Why do we stick tenaciously to false facts when we see that our religious practices is no closer to saving our lost brothers and sisters?  We have to dig deeper.  Christianity is one religion that has changed since its founding.  The New Testament did not exist during the Old Testament just as the Completed Testament in our time was unheard of during Jesus' time.  Unfortunately, this is slightly true.  Jesus knew more, wanted to share more but the people of his time were unwilling to change and he was limited to the New Testament.  This is why he comes again in our time to deliver the break news.  Do we hear him?

World Peace: Solve Problem in Garden of Eden First

In order to begin the mission of bringing world peace, we first must tackle where humanity all went wrong.  It is a secret that has been hidden and even if anyone fell upon it, would not even begin to know how to uncover a way to restore humanity.  Jesus knew. 

But he was met with so much opposition that people didn't even let him begin "how can I tell you about things of heaven if you don't accept the earthly things." Jesus had so much in his heart that he knew and wanted to teach humanity, but the people of his time could not understand or would not listen.  These secrets never left the earth. 

As Revelations tells, these secrets would be uncovered in the Last Days and God's people would be told plainly of the Father.  That is today.  Still, people refuse to listen and accept the truth.  It is a hard truth and reality. 

To accept, would mean we as humans would have to deny the way we have been taught all our lives and would have to reject our very environment because it is against Godly mandate. 

This is also the situation of the Israelites when Jesus told them to pick up their cross and follow them and to love him more than their own father and mother.  That never went away.  In order to even begin to talk about world peace, the leaders of that foundation, have to have this small requirement as that base.

Another reason we haven't seen peace through religion, because what is required of one individual would be the same as cutting off the very life in which we breathe.  The requirements to follow God go beyond any religion that is set forth on earth at this moment. 

To follow the standard that God needs to go back to His original plan of creation would mean one would have to surpass the standard of the sages and saints and religious leaders who have passed before.  It would take sacrifice and the heart to live for others.  It would take a 180 degree turn from the direction we are headed.  Satan has hidden the truth of the fall so we as humans could continue making this mistake and we can stay connected to him through our mistakes.  Without knowing the facts of the Fall, you and I and our children are doomed to repeat these mistakes that take us further away from God when we are tempted by them.


Hidden Truth Revealed

What is the fruit of the tree of knowledge of good and evil that God told the original ancestors, Adam and Eve, not to eat? It is not the real fruit of a tree. It is a way of expressing the husband and wife love relationship that the first ancestors were to have in the future. Due to the temptation of a third being, while still in an imperfect state, the first man and woman entered into an immoral sexual relationship. Actually, in the Garden of Eden, the third party besides Adam and Eve was the archangel. In the Bible it is revealed that Lucifer was the archangel who tempted Eve and committed an immoral sexual sin. This was the fall of man, the original sin which planted the root of sin in the world.
 Man committed the sexual sin before his Father God, the Lord and Master of heaven and earth, and the first ancestors had children out of this immoral love; and the world of evil was realized. In other words, they married centered on Satan and by planting false love, false life and a false lineage they became ancestors of evil. As human society expanded from the individual, family, tribe, race, and nation to the world level, due to this immoral relationship between man and woman, the root of the evil blood lineage was established everywhere, at all times, and this world became hell on earth: it became a false world filled with sin, war and fear. The fallen ancestors, Adam and Eve, should have established the position of True Parents as the eternal good ancestors of humanity, but they fell to become false parents leaving a blood lineage of evil. This is the first cause of all the tragedy and misery of humankind. What could be more tragic or cause greater indignation than becoming the descendants of false parents and all humankind losing their True Parents? And how great must be the suffering and sorrow of God, the Father of humanity, whose purpose of creation, to establish the true ancestors of humankind and to multiply people of goodness, was stolen by the blood lineage of sin through the immoral fall of the first human ancestors.

The requirement is controversial, if not impossible by today's standard.  It requires Absolute Sex.  A standard of no sex before marriage and only with ones spouse within the marriage.

How is it that impure ungodly sex brought down a civilization?  Easy to see when you look on the individual level.  How many religious men and politicians have lost everything when they have an affair or have sex with prostitutes? Multiply this by family and nation and world and it is just a simple glimpse of how illicit sex outside of God's dominon has corrupted the earth.


What Did the Fruit Symbolize?

Satan skates all over our society by keeping this hidden.  Even Christians who know that we should abstain from explicit relationships, we can fall for the same thing Adam and Eve fell for.

You and I at one time have fallen for the tricks of Satan.  Those who say they do not sin are said in the bible to be liars.  I am a sinner.  I have fallen for the traps that satan has laid out for each and every person living on this earth.  Now teens are inundated with images that free sex is fine, experimentation is celebrated and chastity is scorned. 

First Eve fell for this trap, then Adam, and then their descendants thereafter which leads to you, me and our children.  How tragic a situation.

So, what is the fruit?

I used to believe that the fruit was such a delicious fruit found nowhere else.  But we know that God wouldn't plant something that could cause his children death and test them by telling them to stay away from it.  Same for Adam and Eve. I know this now as I have matured.  Why create a fruit that His children could never delight - ever?  God created this "fruit" for His children to enjoy once they were mature.  That makes more sense than a god who testing His children for their loyalty to Him. 

Our first ancestors were teenagers.  God gave them a commandment.  They were naked and unashamed before the fall, and the first thing they covered after the fall was their body parts.  Children caught in a cookie jar cover their mouths, not their lower parts.  Why have we ardently stuck to hiding this truth allowing Satan to cover up what he perpetuated in the Garden? 

Simple.  This is the easiest way to keep us from God is to keep the deeper truth hidden.  To keep the faithful feeling everything is okay if they just read the bible and save a few homeless people and keep their faith.

There is a way to restore the world.  Arm ourselves with the truth the Second Coming has armed us with and spread the truth, as the disciples did after Jesus' death.

What was the forbidden fruit? What sort of fruit could cause countless generations of humanity to groan in misery? Why would God create a fruit that could cause misery, destruction and war? The Divine Principle's Teaching teaching is logical: the fruit is a symbol for love. So many evils spring from love. From love can spring either good or evil fruit, therefore it is called “the fruit of the knowledge of good and evil.

B,ut we started from a family where love never matured and we had fallen immoral relations outside of God's ideal marriage and have perpetuated this since the beginning of the first family.

Adam and Eve had been living in joy in the Garden of Eden and conversing with God. The only possible sin that they would be tempted to commit at the risk of their lives was a sin involving

love which is more powerful than any law.

The consummation of human ancestors’ first love was also to be God’s own completion.

Therefore, it naturally should have been the moment of joy and jubilation for God, Adam and Eve, and all creation. They were to have rejoiced together in continuous festivities of love and blessing.  On that joyous occasion, God’s love, life and lineage was to be firmly settled in the first human ancestors.

Accordingly, from the viewpoint of God’s purpose of creation, love should be the most precious and sacred act. But because the sexual act was the very cause of the Fall, people often regard it with shame and even contempt. In conclusion, human beings fell through an act of illicit sexual intercourse.

 

The more one receives love, the more beautiful one appears to others. When the angel, created as God’s servant, beheld Eve, the daughter of God, it was only natural that she looked beautiful in his eyes. Moreover, when Lucifer saw that Eve was responding to his temptation, the angel felt the stimulation of her love to be deliciously enticing. At this point, Lucifer was seducing Eve with the mind to have her, regardless of the consequences.

Lucifer, who left his proper position due to his excessive desire, and Eve, who wanted to open her eyes and become like God before the time was ripe, formed a common base and began give and take action. The power of the unprincipled love generated by their give and take led them to consummate an illicit sexual relationship on the spiritual plane.

All beings are created based on the principle that when they become one in love, they exchange elements with each other. Accordingly, when Eve became one with Lucifer through love, she received certain elements from him. First, she received feelings of dread arising from the pangs of  guilty conscience, stemming from her violation of the purpose of creation. Second, she received from Lucifer the wisdom which enabled her to discern that her originally intended spouse was to be Adam, not the angel.

 

The power of the unprincipled love generated in their relationship induced Adam to abandon his original position and brought them together in an illicit physical relationship of sexual love.
 

Once Eve had united with the Archangel through their illicit sexual relationship, she stood in the position of the Archangel with respect to Adam. Thus, Adam, who was still receiving God’s love, appeared very attractive to her. Seeing Adam as her only hope of returning to God, Eve turned to Adam and tempted him, playing the same role as the Archangel had played when he had tempted her. Adam responded and formed a common base with Eve, and they began give and take action.

When Adam united in oneness with Eve, he inherited all the elements Eve had received from the Archangel. These elements in turn have been passed down to all subsequent generations without interruption… and humanity has multiplied in sin to the present day, perpetuating the lineage of Satan.

Love is supposed to bring human beings to perfection. However, when something goes wrong with love, even God steps back. Then it becomes a serious problem. In this respect, we discover that something went wrong with love. Nothing else could become such a serious problem for God, for humankind and for history. The failure of love was the greatest catastrophe in the whole universe.

How do we turn this sad history around?


The Fall Caused Chaos to This Day

Up to the moment when God joined Adam and Eve, they were not prepared to experience the electricity of love. They would have felt clumsy around each other; their physical touch would have come as a shock. But once their minds and bodies would be totally united in God’s love, once the three—God, Adam and Eve—would be united as one, they would have experienced love like a flash of lightning. At that moment, they would have become the nucleus of the universe. They would have orbited about each other in love, formin the nucleus for governing all things by love.

Had Adam and Eve become the nucleus, God would have nestled them in His bosom. He would have been with them always. Even if His body tried to leave, His feet would have stayed with them.

The couple would have been inseparable, ever embracing each other. Their sons and daughters would have been connected to them by cords of love, and wherever they went they would come together to be established from that nucleus.

As descendants of a man and woman in complete oneness, they too would have embraced one another in true love as they built their own families, tribes, peoples, nations and world. What wonderful world it would be! Everything would be marvelous. It would be the Kingdom of Heaven on earth. Don’t you think so?
 

Am I a dreamer, or do I speak truth? My elucidation of the Human Fall as the reason for the corruption of love is logical and correct, based upon a proper assessment of history. Knowing it, we can resolve all human problems. Even so, it is not an easy task.
Because the nucleus of love was not established, and instead the Fall occurred, the whole world became contrary to God’s ideal, its unity shattered into pieces. Stemming from that initial disorder, all human beings became separated from one another. We cannot deny that the world today is beset by divisions. That is to say, we are all fallen. It is only appropriate to conclude that we are living in the world that resulted from the Fall.

Restoring Fallen Men

Religion holds adultery to be the cardinal sin. Is free sex in America and throughout the world the expression of God’s philosophy of the Kingdom or the devil’s philosophy of hell? It is the philosophy of hell run rampant, creating hell both on earth and in heaven. Everyone who follows this trend is doomed.

How can God’s love be linked to this world? True love coming down from above brings unity by the most direct and shortest path, making a 90-degree angle. Once that direct connection is made with the vertical God, the love of human beings can correspond to it—true love traveling by the most direct and shortest path. Induced by that vertical love, a man and a woman move on the horizontal plane toward the vertical line, creating a right angle: this is love’s final destination. What was the Human Fall? It bent this right angle.
 

Sexual promiscuity is a principal cause of the downfall of numerous heroes, patriots and nations.

ven in the most outstanding people, the root of sin—illicit sexual desire—is constantly active within their souls, sometimes without their conscious awareness.

We  may be able to eradicate all other evils by establishing moral codes through religion, by thoroughly implementing various educational programs, and by reforming the socio-economic systems that foster crime. But no one can prevent the plague of sexual promiscuity, which has become increasingly prevalent as the progress of civilization makes lifestyles more comfortable and indolent.

Therefore, the hope of an ideal world is an empty dream as long as this root of all evils has not been eradicated at its source. Christ at his Second Advent must be able to solve this problem once and for all.
