Why Do We Exist?

Have you ever wondered why the Almighty God would create humans?

The first reason is so God can stand in the position of a parent.  In order for God to be the parent of human beings that have form, He also must have a form.  Otherwise, He cannot be the center.

Secondly, reproduction cannot take place in the spirit world.

Thirdly, we were to be God’s partner in love for eternity.  Not only Adam and Eve were to be God’s partners, but their children were also to be perfect partners as their parents.

We were produced to be His partners in perfected love.

This is equality.

“I recapitulate, first, God needed a form or shape, namely that of a parent. He acquired that form in order to manifest Himself spiritually as Adam's father. Second, God needed a production center for the citizens of the Kingdom of Heaven."

In this way, we can see that husbands and wives are factories.

Then which would be better: mass production or small-scale production?  Of course mass production.

In this way, the Kingdom of Heaven would be filled to capacity.

This is why women were created to be able to bear many children.

Human beings are the interface between the spiritual and physical worlds

Everything began its existence with God at the center.

Through His creation of human beings, He wanted to stand in oneness with humankind and all things in equilibrium.

This was God’s will.  The thought that God created us to stand in equality to Him is controversial compared to the thought God sitting on His throne enjoying being worshipped and feared.

If humanity is created in God’s image, this also assumes we were created to perfect the qualities of God within us.

Humankind stands between God and the created world.

Body and mind, and spirit self

Just like the give-and-take action between the mind and the body, objects revolve around a subject which itself rotates.  All beings exist according to this principle.

What is the center of a person's body? It is the mind.

The body is meant to revolve around the mind’s commands.  If the mind directs the body to go fast, it must do so and likewise the opposite.

The body is not suppose to move on its own fruition.

Above our mind is our spirit and above our spirit is God.

We perfect ourselves when we become completely one with God.

Despite that we are limited in our physical bodies, we represent all of history and all of the destinies of the future.  Therefore we posses cosmic value.

We must heed our mind in order to seek our destinies.  This is heavenly law.

God strikes those who do not obey what their good mind or conscience dictates.

After the Fall, throughout history God has guided humanity to conform to the conscience so we do not get ensnared by the evils of materialism that profess God does not exist.

Our conscience does not correspond to heavenly law one hundred percent because it has inmeasurable barriers that obstruct it from doing so.

The gateway to heaven has many entrances into a labyrinth of challenges..

These barriers are called judgment in Christian terms.

No matter how hard one may try, it is hard to hold onto the center.  We live where the current trend of thought is one of fear, insecurity and chaos.

We should not be subjected by material things.  God created us with a physical body and a spirit self intending that our spirit would be the center - not the physical body.

Complete motion and resonance

All of you possess a spirit that we in the Unification Church call the spirit self and a physical self. The spirit self, though invisible to our eyes, does exist.

Our spirit which lives in the spirit world, and our external self which lives on earth should resonate in oneness centering on love.

Resonance means vibrating at the same frequency.

Sound waves coincide and intertwine in resonance and they oscillate around the core.  The same is with our spirit self and our physical self.

Each harmonize with each other and center around God’s love.  Our spiritual cells and our physical cells engage in perfect motion together.

Therefore, when our spiritual eyes and our physical eyes are in perfect motion together, we will be able to see everything in heaven and on earth.

The microphone will resonate hundred percent when the capacity is good.

The spirit and physical body will become one through the force of love, heaven and earth.  God and everything else must resonate sympathetically.

The human mind-body dichotomy applies to men and women alike.

When we think that both a man and woman have a spirit and physical self, then together they represent four entities.

When separated, they are four people.

How can these four entities become one? Why would God create people in this way?

God did not create people to be at war. Originally, human’s were to center on God’s love as their motive.  Therefore, men and women would have automatically achieve perfect union.

We does the spirit self and physical self become one?

This is the conflict we face today.

Even when you strike a prong, the prong next to it vibrates at the same frequency.

Likewise, when God’s love acts upon our mind, our body is supposed to automatically respond in like manner.  Instead, we realize that our body opposes our good mind.

Only God’s love can bring the mind and body into full perfect resonance.

We have five physical senses and five spiritual senses as well.  They long to reach a certain destination and it is not by God’s might or wisdom.

Each of our senses focus on His love as a benchmark for everything.
