True Love is....

In addition to love being kind and patient and several qualities listed in the Bible, it is also forgiving, other-Centered,, serving and sacrificial, eternal faithful and obedient and principled.

In order for true love to benefit another person, it has to be unconditional. This means that love is based on the person's worth as a human being. 

No matter what a person's status or appearance, unconditional love respects and recognizes the worth of the other person simply because he was created by God.

True love can transcend national boundaries or racial boundaries and discrimination between religious sects. In this unity, we are all brothers and sisters. In the sight of God, there is no such thing as Orientals, Whites, and Blacks . . . we are different only on the surface. Underneath, we come from the same God.

Reverend Sun Myung Moon's comment on unconditional true love:

A second aspect of true love's unconditional nature is that it is given to the worthy and unworthy alike. The Bible states that God's sun shins upon both the good and evil people. Of course, it is easier for us to love those who are lovable, but unconditional love asks us to love those who are unlovable in the moment just because they were conceived in the perfect love of God. In addition, we should love others because they are destined to return to God's bosom.

The day will come when they are restored and revealed as an indispensable part of God: His precious and beloved children.

Unconditional love does not meant to overlook and accept bad conduct, but to give with the hope of redeeming the other and calling him back to live in God's true way.

Once people feel accepted and love, they are far more likely to confess, repent and make the necessary effofrts to change.

The founder of Boys Town, Father Flanagan, had a philosophy that, “There is no such thing as a bad boy.” He believed that beneath the rough, tough, dirty exterior of the worst street urchin, God's child awaited to be allowed to thus come out in safety in order to be loved. 

This kind of unconditional love 'broke down' many many incorrigible boys and cleansed them with healing tears and inspired many to live amended lives.

To this day, Boys Town remains the most successful child rehabilitation system in the world.

Many of its alumni who were once abused and neglect, go on to live a productive and valuable life just because one man had a vision to love without any condition.

True Love Is Eternal

Reverend Sun Myung Moon commented on the quality of true love:

People like gold because it doesn’t change . . . . What element in diamonds makes people love them? As far as its hardness and solidity is concerned, the diamond excels any other stone. Other rocks and metals will be eroded as time goes by, but diamonds won’t . . . . The more valuable something is, the less changeable it is.

True love does not waver – it is eternal. It does not change based on a whim, circumstance or outo f convenience.

A good friend will stay at his pal's side through the good and also the bad times. A devoted husband stays with his wife in her beautiful youth and as her beauty fades. A parent who is deserted by his child will still look out he window every night hoping for his rebellious son's return.

Constancy is the ballast of all lasting and true relationships.

People who truly practice unconditional love, they are there for one another in times of pleasure as well as time of pain.

Also, God's unchanging love is a place where the heart can return again and again for forgiveness, renewal, reassurance, wisdom and a fresh determination.

There was a bumper sticker that read, “If you don't feel close to God – guess who moved?” We are assured that it wasn't God that moved.

One parent won the heart of her teenage daughter through her unending determination. The teenager became rebellious and increasingly 'smart-mouthed' and rebellious which caused the parent pain.

Everything came to a crisis point when the police department called her and said they had her daughter. The mother was understandingly furious and didn't speak to her daughter all night. 

Then she thought again how she believed in her daughter's essential goodness. So, to demonstrate her faith in her daughter, the mother wrapped a small gift box and gave it to her daughter.

The daughter unwrapped it and found a rock inside with a note that read:

This rock is a thousand years old. That's how long it will take before I give up on you.

Right then, the teenager broke down in extreme tears when she witnessed her mother's devotion to her. The two became very close after that incident.

Just as a human mother does not give up on her child, God does not give up on His children either. Even when people give up on themselves. 

They may feel worthless, hopeless, in despair and feel they are beyond redemption just as the teenager girl undoubtedly felt about herself in the story above.

God's love is like a rock.

God is always there waiting and hoping for His child's return. Jesus expressed, “Ask and it will be given to you, seek and you will find, knock and the door shall be opened unto you.”

God is a parent who is always home and ready to answer the door. He always hopes that the children He loves so steadfastly come to pay Him a visit. He hopes to be embraced again in the love that never wavers.

“What made Jesus sacred was that he trusted and loved people, wanted to live with them and save them more than anything else—even though they betrayed him. He blessed his enemies.”

Sixty-six volumes in the Holy Scripture can be condensed into a significant meaning – Jesus' main teaching is unchangeability.

True Love Is Unique

The uniqueness of each individual is taken in account in true love. It is not a 'one size fits all' kind of love. Each person needs to be loved exactly for who he or she is. Each one of us is a unique entity in the universe with their own likes and dislikes and preferences.

To love with discernment requires wisdom, attentiveness, and patience.

No two petals on a flower look alike as well as small stones, pebbles on the side of a mountain upon careful examination. This is one of the beauties of nature. Also, in the way you were born. True love's uniqueness is vividly demonstrated through family relationships.

A highly-successful marriage program advises the husband and wife to make an individual list of the kinds of things that make them feel loved. Then the couple share their list with their spouse.

A wife may feel cared for when her husband brings her a cup of tea in the morning. The husband may feel loved when the wife lines up fresh socks in the linen drawer.

Little favors such as these may not seem profound if they are not catered to the person's unique ways.

Siblings are different from each other and need to be encouraged and nurtured in different ways. This compells parents to love their children in unique ways. Children's love needs change as they grow. A nine-year-old who loved being kissed when he was younger will feel that his mother is smothering him when she does it at ten years old.

A way of giving love has turned into an offense and must be adjusted to the uniqueness of the growing individual.

Children’s lives are a veritable education in how to love the unique adults who are their parents.

Even though there are principles of love that work for and apply to everyone, love is tailor-made to each individual in order to make him or her feel uniquely loved.

God shows this kind of understanding toward each of His children. He gently guides us through things that spake most strongly to each of our individual hearts.

God shows his appreciation for our uniqueness by speaking to the person's heart through music, art literature, sports pets and dancing. Whatever a person love, God uses such things to reach out to him or her. In essencece, God is saying, “I know you. I understand you. I love you for who you are.”

A Relationship With God is Fundamental for Life

Throughout history, man has tried to search for the true meaning of everlasting happiness and human behavior through philosophy and philosophers.

This quest leads them to ask the basic question of God's very existence.  Isn't this where every philosophical battle eventually ends up, to whether a being who created this world exists? 

We still have not reached a satisfactory conclusion which every philosopher and scientist can agree upon.  Even if they were to all take a vote and vote that He exist, would he exist from that moment on? 

What if they all voted that God did not exist?

Would such a being come into existence upon human realization that He exists or vice versa?

God does not fit into human logic too well.  Perhaps the last time you tried to explain or prove such an existence showed you how limited words or examples can be to your case.

How about your mind?  Are you able to show it and explain to someone.  If you were able to 100% understand you mind then you would have the capacity to recreate it from scratch from such knowledge.  Because you cannot know your mind totally, this shows the greatness of your mind. 


"Human beings have a mysterious aspect, and human logic can never perceive the greatness of God or human existence."


The same is for the explanation of God.  If you could explain His existence through logic then God would be small enough to fit into human logic. this would mean that humanity would be able to create God and know all about Him.

People of religion already know that there is a God, that He exists from beginning to end, and He exists throughout eternity.  He created all things and He occupies the central position.

We should clearly understand our relationship to God.

Humanity has tried several approaches to bring us closer to an understanding of this relationship, but this question remains unsettled.

Our relationship to God is the fundamental block to our existence.  A true, living relationship to God is fundamental to life that we should clarify this question.

Several religions have to come to the same principle which is common to all religions to clear up the confusion of what our relationship with God should be?

Is it like a friend, daughter/son or should we view God as an equal?  What is our true relationship with Him?

God wants us to understand this relationship to the ultimate sense - He definitely needs us human beings...why else would He create us?  Therefore, He will do everything possible to develop this relationship.


What is the most precious thing in your life?  Did you answer money or power?


When we look at this question deply, other thoughts emerge.  We conclude that the most precious thing is love - what we value most is tied to the element of love.

Second to love is life itself which is most precious.  We value these two things above all else.

If we have love and life, we need one thing further-an ideal.

Love, life an ideals are the most precious and profound in vlue and make our live woth living.

We all in some way wish fo eternal life.  Therefore, we naturally feel that we want our love and ideals to also be foreve, unchanging and unique.

We have seen writers who write about the beauty of eternal love.

Has there been a writer in history that has glorified love that changes day and night or ends forever?

There are many religions in the world which testify to the life beyond this one that we live on earth and testify to our desires for eternity.

The words 'love' and 'ideals' are empty and do not have meaning when they are isolated.  Love can only exist when there is someone to love and someone to be loved by.

Also, an ideal needs to be shared with someone. 

We are always in a position to be loved by someone in the subject position.  Things that are supremely important in human life can only come about through relationships.

Many think that humans are the cause of the universe, but how can we be the cause if we did not create ouselves?  Therefore, a subject or creator must xist.  This subject or cause is the essential reality.

Whatever name you choose for the cause does not matter; we should be certain of the cause as we are of our own existence.

We call the cause "God".  So, let's put our question to God:

God, what is the most precious thing in existence to you God?

 God will answer, "Love, life, and my ideal are the most precious things to me."

Think about this.  Does God need money?  Everything in creation belongs to God anyway.  He does not need money. He is already the Source of all power and knowledge.  God is all of these things, therefore, these two also He does not need. 

Instead, God wants to share and have give and take with someone ina reciprocal relationship.

Even though God is almighty, He cannot have love, life and ideal when He is alone.  This is why He created man and woman.

 

All human traits originate in God.

This is the meaning in the Bible where it states that humans are created in the image of God.

We reflect the characteristics of God like a mirror.  God is the Origin, therefore, our lvoe comes from the love of God.  Our life comes from the life of God, and so do our ideals.

The very dream that you wish to accomplish all your life comes from God.

God is the Subject of love, the Subject of life, and the Subject of ideals. We are the objects of love, the objects of life, and the objects of ideals.

Therefore, since God is an absolute being, we are also absolute.  Since God is eternal, His objects, men and women, are also created for eternity.  Otherwise, we would not reflect he nature of the eternal God.

If God is love, life and ideals, then He would be a God of defeat if He did not create a being with the same qualities.

 

 

God is the Subject to man and woman, and we are the objects to God.

Even though God is absolute, man and woman seem to reflect another type of being that is far from God.

When we as objects are not perfect as our Creator, then we cannot reflect fully the love, life and ideal of God.  God and humans are one.  Humans is incarnate of God. Man and woman are meant to be the visible form of God and God is the invisible form of man and woman.

Because we are the reflection and object of God whom He cannot feel love without us, this gives us as much importance and value as God Himself.

If man had followed God completely, there would be no question of His existence - HGe would have been a living reality to us.

In our present fallen, sinful ways, we should be very careful of our words and actions.  On the other hand, if humanity had obtained perfection, we would automatically reflect the universal, loving mind that is God.

There would be no religion to teach us about how to behave like God, or arguments of His existence.

One that is perfect would not be able to deny God.

If Adam and Eve had followed God and become mature in their love instead of following Lucifer's advice to give into their love in their immaturity they would have become true parents to Cain and Abel.  The good family tradition they envoked would have remained generation after generation.

Our relationship with God would not be a question - it would have been of perfect oneness; you would not be able to separate yourself from your own godly mind.  This would have been human perfection.

Such people who did not fall away from God would have become the nucleus of the universe.

Adam and Eve's perfect home life and children would have expanded to a heavenly society, nation and world.

Who would have been the center of this perfect universe or world of peace?

Instead of creating a hell on earth where "Satan was the ruler of this world", God and Adam and Eve would have formed the central axis of the universe.

Why did God need a perfect relationship with Adam and Eve?

First of all, God could only fulfill His ideal of true love through Adam and Eve.

Secondly, God who does not have a physical body would have been visible through working through men and women.

In other words, Adam and Eve were to be the phsyical manifestation of God through their perfected relationship with Him.  Thus, God could have a relationship with the visible, phsycial world through them.

What is God's reason for creating Adam and Eve?

Once Adam and Eve wre perfected on earth in a relationship of oneness of God, their spirit selves after passing to the next world would be like the body of God.  God would have been the mind of Adam and Eve and they would have been the spirit body of God.  Then God and people in the spirit world would have been eternally inseparable, one body.

Inside them God would dwell in their minds - God Himself would be the mind of Adam and Eve.

Unfortunately, due to our relationship with Lucifer's will and love, we have an inseparable relationship between the two. 

We come to speak about death and dying, but there is no such thing in the context of God's original world.  Instead of dying, we would have just passed to a new realm after giving up the physical body.  Your body would be the spirit and God would be the center of that body.

After we followed the will of Satan through our first human ancestors, all of God's ideals for a world of love and peace was separated from humanity until His first true son on earth fulfilled the responsibility to change the blood lineage to God's.

Why We Should Live Eternally

Do you believe that we will live for eternity after we shed our bodies on earth? Many movies about vampires is appealing to those who have the desire to live eternally on earth.

But who wants such restrictions of a non-living body that can only come out at night and feed off of the blood of others?

For those who are religious, it is commonly accepted that there is a life after this one, and has a much better ideal than a night creature tale.

What kind of creature did God create human beings?

He created us as the objects of His love who is able to posses His absolute and unique value.  This is an amazing fact, unfortunately, how much value is placed on a person these days?  We have practically been reduced to a worth of a few pennies.

Originally, God's children were to have much more worth.  Their value was so precious that life could not be exchanged even for the entire universe.

People are born from, live in, and die in love. However, they do not just disappear.

Since God as the subject being is eternal, thus, human beings who are his objects of love who stand in front of Him should also live eternally.  From this point, the theory of life after death, or eternal life originated; it did not begin with life.

What kind of person is a true person?

A true person receives love completely in the position of God's child by becoming one with Him inside and out.

We can say that the way of life of people in step with God is the way of a true life.

All people desire the best, no matter what position they have.

When  you are able to reach the highest position, God belongs to you, and you belong to Him.  Then you become God's child and you become God Himself, thus, even the universe belongs to you.

If there is something that God loves and treasure most, would God have made it where it was easily thrown away after 100 years or spent just a day with it?  God invested all of Himself in humanity because we were to live with Him eternally.

We are the object partners of God who can feel joy from us in absolute love.  If God were to have such a liking for them for one or two days, or hundred years and throw them away thereafter never to think of them again, this is not true love.

The more you love someone, the more you want to be with that person.

Is there a man who will remain single for life after his wife died.  He would carry her handkerchief in remembrance.  Nehru of India had lost his wife when she was young. He wore a rose the rest of his life because his wife loved roses.

Since God did not create such complex beings to be cast away out of existence, there must be a basic principle that human beings live eternally.

We must stand on the foundation of an action where a stronger power can , in order to live eternally emitted.

The more love is given as the days pass, the more love that is given back and received, rather than depleting.  The power of love becomes stronger and greater.

Life will not end only in happiness but can expand to an unlimited happiness.

This world is the nation that we have come to idealize where God dwells.

Do you want eternal life?

Perhaps you only mildly wish for eternal life.  If you have something precious, you will bring it with you when you seek refuge.  You would not stop being proud of it after a day or two.

When it is time for you to pass onto the next world, you will want to leave this precious treasure to your descendants for eternity.  That is the same for God.

Since God is an absolute, eternal being, then His object partner He can love should also live eternally.  That is why people have longed for eternal life since time cannot remember.  Therefore, the Absolute Being cannot help, but look for a loving son and daughter who possess the value of eternal life.  We humans resemble God as His masterpiece.

Since God is eternal and we also have an eternal nature, our heart does not become old.  Have you ever thought about your heart aging or not?

Therefore, human beings should live eternally. Only when they can live eternally, can they have the value of existence as that masterpiece.

Therefore, human beings are the lords of creation.  Spirit comes from this place.  Human beings should live eternally, therefore, we cannot just think of our existence ends after 100 years.

Living for the sake of eternal life

People live however they want in their own way centered on their own thinking, not God's

Living means your everyday life.

Lifetime means your entire life.  Furthermore, religious people use the same word 'eternal life'.  Eternal life means not a lifetime but a life that continues eternally.

Eternal life means a life that continues eternally.  Then it is important how you connect on your life course with eternal life.  Doing so is your life responsibility.  A lifetime determines through linking each day to the next.  Your entire life is the sum of continuous days in your life.

What content determines if your whole entire life was determined to be value?  It is not determined after you have gone through all your life well?  This means we purposely live the days which represent the entire course of your life.  If you say you have lived life well today, it means that it was memorable day in your life, that you can be proud of.  When you say that you lived well, tat day would surely be the most valuable day in your entire life course.  If you were to see a day that you could live with value, it would be an unforgettable day in your life as well.

What is the theory of eternal life?

God is wise.  If God did not create the ideology for love, He would be alone and depressed for eternity; He would be a god who could not feel joy, anger, sorrow or happiness.

God, who has lost this absolute love through the fall has stood in a serious, appalling and absolutely miserable position that no one has ever experienced throughout history.  No one was there to comfort Him the moment that all of His creation and children were taken from Him.

God is not satisfied with just recreating an ideal shape and form of His dreams and then resurrecting His original son and daughter whom He desires.  He should be able to decorate the ideal more brilliantly and express it beautifully as He travels great distances while embracing that ideal.  That is how He created the entire universe.

When the atmosphere falls into an absolute low pressure area, then a high pressure area is automatically created which brings about a circulatory movement. God is the King of wisdom, and greatest scientist.

The theory of eternal life is an logically foundation, because the eternal circulation beings through that principle of automatic circulation.  When you invest, invest, and invest some more, the theory of eternal life will begin.

Those who live for the sake of others will not perish.

God's eternal object partner we allude to the ancient saying, "Among all creation, human beings are the most precious."  This brings about the longing for the partner of love who unites with the Creator's eternal love where He lives forever.

Eternal life is the natural product of this theory.  Eternal life begins from this point.  Based on the relationship of love, how to establish a theory of eternal life is the problem which sets up an precious debate in religion.
Eternal life cannot be found in either the man or the woman.  Eternal life is not even found in God, but it is only found in love.

The most important issue of eternal life

Modern Christianity states that if you just believe in Jesus, then you automatically attain eternal life.

In order for one to be able to live for eternity, one must carry on with a continuous action.  In order to walk the path of life eternally, the circulation system such as the veins and arteries of the heart should function normally.

Also, all of the nervous system and all the actions of the cerebrum should also function normally.  This requires a tremendous amount of consumption to keep this in working order.

When it is time for you to go to bed after you take off your shoes, are you confident that you will be there to put them back on again in the morning?  No matter how busy you say you are, there is nothing in this world that is more important than the issue of eternal life.

Only, we have been inundated throughout our entire lives with unnecessary trivial happenings that we  do not place much importance on the life hereafter.

Either way, there is not quest in this material world that is more serious than to resolve the problem of eternal life.

Ultimately, human beings must return to eternal life

We each has the responsibility to dissolve the problems of the Fall by establishing the way of True Parents' love who have laid a strong foundation based on Jesus' path, who have reversed the mistakes of the Fall and passing it on to humanity.

Only after we establish a family of true love over which God can reign, can you go straight to heaven.  When we see the reality of the path of restoration, we do not spend our life on earth wasted on trivial matters.

The rails of God's Kingdom on earth and in heaven must all be the same.  A train can run only when the rails are the same.  In the same way, in the heavenly world, there must be the path which connects God's Kingdom on earth with His kingdom in heave; this is the path of true love.

Consequently, the path of an individual takes, and then the path of a family takes.  These two should be connected and then their direction be consistent with each other.

Therefore, everything we do in our lifetime, becomes a permanent fastened to his rear end as a record of how well we have performed for the sake of true love.  Thus, when a person passes to the spirit world, he comes to dwell at the same level which corresponds to the achievements he left behind in his lifetime.

Faith and the issue of eternal life

How does one live for eternity?

You can only be saved through love.  Only a true woman can be God's partner in love.  Therefore, if someone has true love, he must be able to live for eternity.  Once you enter the realm of that love, whether you are in the spirit world or on earth, you must come to know where you should live.

Even rats of a ship know to escape to dry land.  Even though they are small creatures, they can distinguish which is the right way to take and go in that direction when faced with matter of life and death.

Why have humans who were created to become the lords of all creation, come to be as corrupt as they are?  It was because of the Fall.

How are you going to remove this mask of the Fall or free yourself from the devil's love, life and lineage?

To free yourself means to break free from something holding you back from life.

We need to completely break free from and stand in the position to have no relations or common base with Satan.

A mother in her nineties will tell her seventy year old son to be careful of the cars, and be safe.  She can say this until she reaches the ripe age of ninety.  She will not get tired of saying it even if she were to continue for eternity.

What is the motivating power behind a mother's careful warnings?  It is love. If parental  love is like that between fallen people, what would our life be like if we were able to belong to God's true highest love in His original world?

When we are able to reach the state, then the realm belonging to the true object of God can be established for the first time.  When we come to know that God's love is eternal and unchanging, we can validate the theory of eternal life centering on our human love.  We live eternally centering on love.

Man Become Less Valuable Than Material

When we narrow down 'our standard' it becomes 'my standard'.  When we broaden it, then it becomes the 'world standard'.

Where would we find the standard?  In the past, present or future?  What would be the central factor that sets the standard?  Would the standard be set by money, knowledge or power?

Could a person set the standard?

We can say that the standard should be based on the mind.

It would only be natural that the standard be based on the mind, but the mind also varies.

Sometimes it is beautiful and other times it is ugly.  Would the standard be based on a school record, or on religion, or on God?

Through this topic, we need to determine what has value for our lives.

The Korean word for treasure literally means "material treasure".

In talking about value we often are referring to material value; usually a treasure is based on material value.

What determines a standard of value?

First, something of value will last for a long time, has an unique eternal and unchanging quality.  Gold for instance is not easily changed.

These are the quality of value for material things.

People talk about the value of material things, but do not see a person as a treasure.  Minimum wage is still under 9 dollars an hour.  How cheap a man is!

Why haven't people been regarded as treasure?  People will go to war and kill other people to obtain material treasure or territory.  This is a real problem.  How did a human become less valuable than gold?

A pearl has a harmonized color which is beautiful.

Gold and pearls are very soft, while diamonds are very hard. Would you exchange your loved one for gold?

Would you give up your loved one's little finger for an equal amount of diamonds? Is that a good deal?  If someone offered you a diamond as big as your wife or husband, would you trade them in?

Then this means that men and women are more valuable than gems.

What do men have that makes them more valuable than diamonds?

It is his sparkling eyes or his skin?

Do you have the three qualities of value?

Men and women change.  Do you have valuable quality only when  you are young and pretty, or also when you are old?  Why do you prefer a warm, embracing person over an aloof and distant person?

When it is warm, people tend to relax, but when it is cold everyone automatically tries to protect himself.

Warm weather causes people to be more expansive and relaxed.  Do your favorite things change or not?  People are changeable, particularly women!

Changeable women are less liked than more stable women, right? 

Would the changeable quality be true for men also?

The three qualities of value apply to people as well as material things.

Therefore, a person who has a changeable quality has no everlasting value or uniqueness.

Man has two aspects: a mind and body.  Which changes more?  Does your conscience change more than your physical desires?

People who believe in the theory of evolution, say that there is not much difference between the make up of men and animals.

By holding to this belief, one tends to believe that animal behavior and conflict is also inherent in men, is natural and will last forever.  With this kind of ideology, a world of true, everlasting peace where man has freedoms within principle cannot exist.

They also say that the mind's desires are an illusion and that there is no such thing as an absolute standard of conscience.

They feel we are just material and there is no such thing as a permanent ideal.

In other words, if we are no better than animals just existing without a true purpose, then there is no room for a permanent standard for which to live.

Therefore, no permanent quality of value can exist.

If you and I are truly descended from monkeys, then man is also only an animal.  Do you think that monkeys live by moral standards or ethics?

There are no such standards as keeping one's purity in the monkey world.

But man is more advanced culturally, but seems to be changing into more like the monkeys because men and women just have casual sex together like the monkeys.

Those who uphold moral values seem to be losing the debate with evolutionist because they cannot show how men and women are really different from animals.

In order to be able to distinguish men from animals, even though evolutionists do not believe in God, we would have to create even an imaginary God who could be the embodiment of some absolute standard.  Otherwise there is no other way to win the battle.

Without an absolute standard, mankind cannot survive.

God has been neglected by mankind throughout history, but now we have reached a deadlock.

In the animal world, the stronger animal attacks the weaker ones.

Is this natural in the human world?

Do humans naturally need power in order to protect themselves?  There is certain conduct that needs standards.  To determine those standards, we need a foundation.  Would this be formed by the body or the conscience?

Moral quality has to pursue a tangible value, such as justice and honor.

The mind works by combining intelligence, heart and will power.  

 

Human value is based on conscience, which has an everlasting quality.

At the same time, everyone will like and agree on the value of the conscience.

The conscience should be needed morning and night and every moment of our lives.  That is the kind of standard we have to come up with.

The quality that defines a person of treasure, comes from his conscience and mind, which is eternal and unchanging.

In the Orient, when there is a bad person, we say he has a bad mind, we never say he has a bad body.

When you value someone, you value his mind saying his state of mind or thinking is good, not his appearance.

In criminal law, it is important the person's motives to commit the crime, motive is intangible.  Motivation comes from the mind, and the body reacts to that.

Does the conscience pursue good or evil things?

The answer will be the same 1,000 years from now.  If you ask someone from 10,000 years ago, their answer will be the same.

This means that the conscience has an unchanging quality.  Thus, we say that the conscience is at the base of value.

Therefore, the man's unique value comes from his conscience.

Why do we appreciate the three qualities of value in material things?

There must be some corresponding aspect in man which include those qualities.

We appreciate those qualities in certain things because we have them within ourselves.  That reciprocal relationship is the key to determine value.

We can see the same principle in the relationship between man and God.

We are not the universal subject of creation, so we cherish these qualities of values because there is a first cause which initiated this.

Evolution tries to deny the power of the conscience by saying that it is only the by product of material which came about by itself.  That material came into existence first and conscience is like a side effect.

Evolutionists don't accept the idea of a first cause, or God. 

Evolutionist say that conscience is like animal instinct which evolved to a higher status.

Do you feel good to hear that you descended directly from monkeys?

Evolutionists do not have any solutions to the human problems of today.  In order to distinguish ourselves from the animal world, we need to have God and if no real God exists we still have to make an imaginary one.  Otherwise there is no solution to the deep problems of humanity.


For the last ten years I have been spending an incredible amount of money inviting the world's leading scholars to come and think about absolute value, but they don't even want to think about it. Everyone wants to deny there is absolute value, saying there is only relative value; they keep saying they are tired of hearing about absolute value. They are asking me to change the subject of the conference, but I have refused.  I know that, no matter how great these academics are, they cannot find absolute value because it can't be observed in a laboratory or test tube.


Scholars try to determine everything through their physical senses.  They do not recognize anything that does not come their way or is intangible.

The physical senses cannot perceive the spiritual reality or anything beyond the material world like God.

There is no way you can reach conclusions about value and conscience through the analytic method. 

Today's scientific world is confused about what is reality.

There are five senses, but you need to employ one more sense to perceive the complete reality of the universe.

Thinkers say that we must conquer reality if we are to advance.

But there is such confusion of what reality is.  Religiously and philosophically there is confusion.  We have to clarity this confusion by setting the standard.

We need philosophy and religion, but what do 'I' need most of all?

An active conscience.

To determine what is reality, we have to restore our consciences to be true ones.  Have people throughout history lived with true conscience?

All men have the common desire to live with true conscience, but how can that be realized?

An important quality in a moral code is filial piety.

We place value on this, but what is it and why should we exercise it?

Filial piety is loyalty to the unchanging value of the family.

A son that practices filial piety will serve his parents and brothers and sisters even if they do not reciprocate.

Our conscience dictates that this is the right thing to do.  But if you are not able to recognize the value of conscience, you will not recognize the value of filial piety.  You have to have some starting point.

Conscience values your parents' welfare more than your own.

On a larger scale, a patriot follows his conscience by serving his country and caring about its welfare.

There is the common ground that the conscience dictates the benefit of something higher than yourself.  The conscience pursues something of higher value not caring only for the self first.

What is a saint or a holy man?

The saint follows the same principle, but he obeys his conscience for the sake of mankind.  He recognizes that the subject of all is God.  In history, holy men have always been religious leaders.

Like evolutionists, the materialistic communists say that awareness, or consciousness, is merely a by-product of the material world.  So, where can we find the moral code in that?

Communism is destructive because it is based on materialism and recognizes consciousness as only a by-product, not something that has value or needs a standard to follow.

Within communism, there is no ideal of a person of treasure.

Since communists do not place value on the spiritual element, life is expendable in their political system.  Humans are only viewed as material.

We see throughout history that they freely sacrifice people's lives to attain material.

There is no such thing as an everlasting moral standard in the world of communism.

Which is first, consciousness or the material?

How do we determine that consciousness came first?

As stated in earlier posts as an example, the eye is material whether it is in man or some animal.  Would the first eye in existence have known that it would encounter sunlight or dust therefore develop eyelashes and tears itself?

Whoever designed the eye would have understood these phenomena.  Anyone who tries to argue that the eye randomly came about into existence, you can show him his error with this short example.

Are the tear ducts to keep the eye clean and moist a random event?

Then it is logical to say that long before the eye came into being there was an universal conscious that designed the eye according to the environment.  So, we can say that conscious came before the material world.


I don't deny the process of evolution in development, but I am saying that there is a creative process going on behind it. In the theory of evolution there are sudden occurrences called mutations, in which something new comes from its parent body. But we have to say that there must have been some energy or willpower that authorized that occurrence. Could evolution itself create a new awareness and make a new design? Absolutely not.


Then there must be something that is outside evolution that supplies creative energy.

Development occurred between the highest and lowest stages, but it did not just happen automatically.  Each stage was the result of a design and input of additional energy.

Evolutionists do not want to recognize that creative energy.  Evolutionists need to acknowledge an universal consciousness that provided the know-how beforehand.

When you talk about the conscience of man, then you have to recognize that there is an universal truth that ties into it.  Therefore, they must recognize God who is the first cause.

Does conscience also evolve?

If you do not recognize the unchanging quality of conscience within yourself, then you cannot begin to look at the unchanging and unique characteristics within gems.

If you do not have this quality within yourself, then you have no reason to seek it outside  yourself.  You appreciate precious things because you have that quality within yourself.

You cannot compare two things unless you have the capacity to appreciate both.

Prisoner of God's Love

How do you differentiate between the world of good and the world of evil?

Does it begin with two different people or with the division of one person into two parts?

Each person also has an internal part and an external part.

A central characteristic of evil is that it is changeable in quality. 

Therefore, an evil person is always changing.

A person with satanic tendencies will betray your trust, stab you in the back, have two tongues by speaking of something in a favorable way and at another time say the opposite.  It all depends on what benefits him.

Would a man or a woman be more likely to have a changeable character?

This is a touchy subject.  What is the greater possibility?

After evaluating all of the circumstances, it looks like women are more susceptible to being changeable in nature.  Women usually never miss out when good times or good things are being pursued.

A man would be content to wear the same suit every single day, and all year long, but women on the other hand would want to wear a new fashion.

All the men in the audience are basically wearing the same style of clothing, but women are wearing all kinds of blouses and dresses with different shapes and colors.

The men's world is just one dull color, while the women's color is like visiting the colors displayed in a flower garden.

We can say that the men's world is like the soil and the women's world is something growing above the soil.
Therefore, women are more prone to the changing world of evil which came about into existence.

The Bible states in Genesis that the fall of man was initiated by a woman.  Women wear all kinds of colors on their nails.  If a trend started where each nail was painted a different color, that would catch on like wildfire.

Women pay attention to such things.

However, men are not so wise that they avoid following women.

In the world today, do women follow men or do men follow women?

It is the feminine nature to attract attention through color.  A flower attracts insects through color and fragrance.

When it is time to shop, the distinction between men and women boldly comes out.  A man will pick out a tie, while the woman wants to shop around in many places and compare before she buys one specific item.

In the process, she looks at many different departments looking for the perfect weapon sending out signals to make herself more colorful.

The function of a flower is to attract the attention of insects.

Men always replay to signals women send out.

Thus, men duplicate the changing nature of women by responding to the signals they send.

This nature is the cause of the fall.  In the Bible, Eve first committed sin with Lucifer.  Then she tempted Adam by offering her fruit (sexual organ) and he took it.

Do we see men do this more to women or women do this more to men?

Eve sent out artificial smiles and messages which is more obvious.

Father seems to be harder on women during his speeches, but then you must think whether it was man or woman that sent out the false signal first.

It was woman.

When we say that a nation is very colorful, we are saying that the women are colorful.  Men may say that the house needs repainting every few years, but women would want to change the color every season!

The first impression of Germany is that it is a sober, dark country because the women wear dark, uncolorful clothes.  Then when we come to America, the feeling is entirely different.

There is always a new fad and American women are always at the head of the line.

This is not to say that the women's world is bad and the men's world is good.

There is both good and evil within the world of women.  Some women are always on the lookout for the freshest, newest thing while other women are trying to preserve tradition.

Which side is the closest to good or evil?

Of course the side of tradition has a more unchanging quality, so that represents the good side.  There are all kinds of national traditions, so which would be the center?

Would you want to preserve internal things or follow external things?

Without question, you rather pursue the internal things.  We commonly speak about conscientious people.  Men of conscience have life, and also love.

Tradition should be based on the qualities of conscience, life and love.

Which is more preferred, life or love?

Each of us preserves our own life, but we cannot think of perfecting love on our own.

You need a circuit in order to perfect love.

Is it possible for the power or love to unite society and the world, or would it have to be the power of love?

It must be through love, but love should be added to life because love needs energy.

The root of life is the fruit of the love between your father and mother which comes vertically down to you.  Thus, the energy of your life should be directed toward love, becoming a seedbed of love.

Your parents' love is consummated in your life, so your life is spent searching after that origin. 

You should then associate with people in society to consummate your love.

You are in pursuit of the tradition in which your parents' love created your life.  Thus, your life is directed toward fulfilling love which will bear fruit.

Only through the power of love will man and God's ideal be allowed to blossom.  Love is the common goal of every person.

Everyone loves love.

Do you need food more than love?

We need food to not only preserve life, but for the power of life in order to give energy to your love.

From food, you get the energy for life.  Then that energy will be directed toward the blossoming of love.

Not only man, but also all things of creation are pursuing love. 

What is the ideal for men of conscience?

Men of conscience highly value tradition.  They thrust their whole life into perfecting themselves in love.  If a tradition is erected, it should continue for eternity where everyone will recognize its value.

God wouldn't hesitate to place His stamp of approval to the tradition that bears the fruit of love.  A good man upholds the unchanging quality of the tradition of love.

This tradition of love can be used on the individual level, family, society, nation, spirit world - everywhere.  This tradition is valued universally.

A man of love is accepted as a good man on every level, including spirit world.

What kind of person do you think God is?

Of course He, too is a God of conscience.

If we have a conscience as a resultant being, then certainly God, the Creator must also be a God of conscience.

We feel that the energy of life will blossom and burn into love, and our ambition is to fulfill love.  If we think this, then our first cause, God, must thinks so, too.

Do you think you meet every criteria for the universe of love?

Would you swap love for the British crown?  If you could exchange love with the most expensive diamond in the world you should think that this is only an ornament.

When your eye is shining in the power of love, that eye is priceless. 

If you walk with the eyes of love, all things of creation will want to be seen by you first.

If you have the power of love, all sounds will want to be heard by you, competing with each other to enter your ears first.

All the smells and fragrances of the universe will want to compete to be appreciated by your nose.  If you have the power of love, all food will want to be chewed by your mouth.

Even though food will be crushed by your teeth, it still wants to be connected to the power of love through you.

Food would rather be in the mouth and stomach of one who holds the power of love than continue as it is.  All the fish in the ocean would rather leave the water and enter the mouth that represents love.

All creation responds to love.  Everything wants to be a prisoner of love.

The ultimate satisfaction of creation is to be caught by true love.  Mankind is also a part of creation of God, so we find ultimate satisfaction in becoming a prisoner of God's love.

We all want to enter the mouth and ears and eyes of God.  We want to become instruments of God by becoming prisoners of His hands.

Why does this bring such joy and satisfaction?  There is nothing greater than God's love.

By becoming His prisoner, you are becoming part of His love.

True Love Breaks Barriers

If you use true love as the key, every door can be opened. 

Since Heaven and earth were originally supposed to be united, wouldn't love be able to penetrate through the barriers in spirit world as well?

After the human fall occurred, God's heart was sealed shut.

If this was to remain forever and true love did not exist, there would be no way to unite God and mankind for eternity.

What else could melt the heart of God after humanity caused Him so much pain?  Would offering Him money, sweet words or beautiful jewelry be able to open His heart?

Even if you were to find the largest diamond, He would point to the mountain made of diamonds which He already owns.  Would your knowledge or power on earth be able to open the door to God's heart?

Everything you present, God would say that, "That's all you know and have?  I made it all."

When you have the greatest worldly power, you can command a country, but you would not be able to break through the barriers to God's heart.

What does God yearn to have?

Not money, knowledge or power, but only true love. 

Why does love have this power?  God created love with an almighty, uniting quality which can govern and can be governed.

It has the power to be absolutely flexible.  Love has the ability to digest both extremes of happy and painful things.  So, even if you are being pinched because He truly loves you, you would want Him to pinch you harder.

The one thing that can dominate the entire universe of creation is true love.  Isn't this true?

You are able to communicate love without communication.

Nature has the same ability.  Your little puppy knows whether you love him or not.  Also, a bird can feel love, as well as the trees, grass and a deadly, poisonous snake can feel your love.

Love is communicated even without language.

A puppy knows whether you love him or not. Likewise, a bird can feel love; even the trees and grass can feel love. If you love a deadly poisonous snake, it too can feel your love.

Love is supreme.

If you possessed just a little chunk of love, would you keep it only close to your heart, or would you be excited to sprinkle it around the world so, that it would multiply?

This kind of heart would make you a millionaire of love.

Maybe to have this standard of love, you would have to lay a foundation of gallons of sweat, blood and tears.  Would this still be worth doing?

The only way you can reach God is through love, because He is the center of the universe.  So, whoever can possess Him would be the richest person.

Then, no matter how much sacrifice is needed to obtain Him, you would be able to do it.  True love is this valuable.

God is like the largest fish in the pond and you can use love as your bait.  But, without sacrificial love, you would not be able to make God your prisoner.

God loves love so much that He will swallow as much bait as you offer Him.

When you sow true love, you will harvest love and God is bound to be close by.

Members of the Unification Church are fishing for God by sprinkling our love bait everywhere.

God is like us in that He enjoys and prefers certain tastes.

God is the gourmet of love, so He knows its exact taste, whether it is sour, sweet or flat.

Even though God knows that there is a large hook hidden inside that love, He would confidently digest that hook.

God loves love permeating from the one who has tasty love that is not centered on self; selfish love tastes bitter.  But when your love wants to save the world and serve others, God would savor that kind of love.

Even though God is gigantic and beyond words, once He taste sweetness of true love, He melts and becomes like a child.  With this He will want to go wherever the one who carries this kind of love goes.

Why were you born?  Why are some humans born as men and others born as women?

There are popular phrases such as 'born to shop'.  Such lowly statements as "I live to sleep" "live to eat" is the narrow way of life.  Some people think that they were born to study.

It is beautiful, eternal and good that we were in fact born to say, "we are born to love".

Have you ever once thought that every part of creation of life that is on earth today is the fruit of love?

You participated in the love of your parents, grandparents and so forth.  You were born at the place of love and the motivation for life was love.

Then, after you were born, you received the love of your parents.

Why do parents love their children?   Why do animals love and take care of their offspring?

It is because children are the witnesses to their parents' love.

Both cause and effect spring from love.  

Because of this truth, parents must love their children.

This is not only true in the human world, but you have also seen this in the animal world.  Children who live in the love of the parents are very happy children.

We experience a generation gap here in America, where parents and children both think they will live their own separate lives instead of unifying.  When this happens, this family loses the home base of love and they have nothing to return to.

God designed the family unit to expand the pure love that pours from within it out into society, spreading one cord of love all over the country.  Then this love spills over into the entire world.

Imagine if the President was to exhibit this kind of love of his family out into the nation how that would spread like wildfire all over the world?

Children who are born and live in love at home can thus become patriots in their nation and even in the world.  Just as water in New York is the same color as water that comes from Norway, the whole human make up is the same.

Once your family is able to fulfill the criteria of love in the home, then you can expand this same criteria of love in the nation and the world.

People should be born in love, grow and mature in love, and then die in love. 

We continue to live eternally in that love with God as the center in spirit world.

Many people believe that this world is the final destination and build their life to only focus on what is here on earth.

We should see this world as a training center where you can learn the stages of how to love the world.

One who is able to love a difficult sister or grandparent, would know how to love any woman or elderly person in the world they meet.

When you graduate from this school, then you enter spirit world.  There you can experience love for all eternity.

Perfected love can be compared to a perfectly round bowling ball that knocks down all the pins.

On the other hand, those who 'fail' in the workshop of love is likened to a square-shaped or lumpy ball that does not roll properly.  True love is perfectly round and goes anywhere and finds it way through any difficult situation.

If this ball was to travel in an erratic pattern, it would still find its final target.

If Father has the knowledge to teach us this Principle, wouldn't God have thought about this even more?

Love is round, shining, beautiful and tender. The more you touch it, the more you like it. 

Therefore, love is good.

Naturally, you want to receive love directly from your parents.  Also, you must receive the same amount of love from your society, nation and world.  Would you want your love to be only confined to your parents or expand to the whole world?

What if you told or demanded people to love you, would you receive it from them?

God is the origin of love who is always taking the initiative to give love to the fallen world.  You as God's child are also to take the initiative to give out love.

In order to make your love truly good, you have to have the power to encompass the difficult and bitter things along with the good.

You should be able to embrace both extremes, loving not just America or your own family, but also the enemies of America.  What do you lose by giving this kind of love?

By practicing this kind of love, you come to resemble God.  It is even easy for evil people to like the people who also like them, and if humans had become perfected, that would be all we would need to do.

But because we have fallen from the original position God desired for humanity, this kind of love is not good enough.  Now we must be able to have the power to even embrace the people who even hate us.

What is the difference between Satan and God?

Satan can only move in one direction, but God can move in all four directions and embrace everything.  Thus, we must obtain the ability to love all people; we should love evil people as well as the good ones.

This was the main philosophy of Jesus' teachings.

A person who is healthy, does not have to worry as much what he eats because he could digest anything, even dried corn.  If your stomach is weak and certain kinds of foods make your stomach ache, then you don't have enough digestive power.

We should have the capacity to digest everything.

In order to develop such a capacity, you should look for things and people whom you hate and who you hate the most, then learn to embrace them.  Once you are able to digest the worst, then everything else is no problem.

This is the obvious conclusion.

When there are jobs that no one else wants to volunteer for, you should willingly take up those jobs and concerns and come to enjoy them.

You would become the champion of loving difficult tasks.  When God observes you doing this He would say that you have been doing that work for too long and tell you to come up to Him raising you up higher and higher.

If you are to love the world, would you take lots of vacations having loads of fun and then love the world at your leisure, or would you dash forward to the mission?

What if a woman who was beautiful enough to be Miss America decided to forget her beauty and own selfish desires and work all the time for the sake of the world?

She would even reject many marriage proposals from many distinguished men, saying she does not have time for all that.

So, which is the best route: going the way of love centered on your own thoughts and philosophy or unselfish love that is public minded?

If you are able to practice unselfish love for others for ten years, you are guaranteed that people will think you are truly the spitting image of God.  You would have the key after such a foundation of love to solve any problem people have.

This way of life sounds very colorful and dramatic,  but when you try to put it into practice you will see it is very difficult to do.  Anything is easier than loving an impossible person in this world.

One who pursues this way of life through persecution and criticism has the goal of love that will penetrate the entire universe, and you know that this is not easy to win.  This kind of love shatters the bonds of the earth and goes straight to the throne of God.

When that kind of love hits God would He just smile or would He be knocked out by it?

When God gets hit by this pure love, He will tumble over and over, nothing could compare with this expression of His joy.

Is this the right route to go; the route headed toward true love?

If you have gone this way since your youth, would that have been a wasted youth?  Foregoing heavy partying, drugs, drinking, promiscuous sex and going to the movies to do the public work of restoring the world?

By following this standard, you are engrafted to the Messiah at the Second Coming, then you are protected from going wrong.

You must produce your own buds which will blossom.

Don't just depend on the work of the Messiah and say that is good enough.  You must do the work as well to reach perfection as branches and produce your own blossoms yourselves.

Once you create many blossoms, you are able to draw energy to that area and you will send out new branches.


 If some branches are exceptionally energetic, the tree will grow in their direction, but when everyone works with equal power the branches will be balanced and the tree will grow straight. This is why I want each of you to do equally well. Thus you can't shirk your responsibility when everyone else is fulfilling theirs. If one main branch dies and falls off, the tree starts to lean to the other side where there is still activity in the healthy branches. 


In the human body, healthy blood is accepted wherever it circulates, on the other hand, when blood is unclean it becomes a burden to the body.  The best thing for a tree is to chop off the dead branches and graft on healthy little branches.

If one branch was American and the other was Japanese, and another is German and so forth, observe which branch is more energetic and powerful.  When one branch is not doing well, that healthier branch will graft another little branch there to strengthen it.

Would cultured people or primitive people be more adapt to endure hardship?

People who are the most cultured have almost zero endurance, while primitive people have 100 percent endurance but no culture.

God is fair in not distributing culture and endurance together!

When I came to lead the American movement, I had a tough time because the Americans had their own yardsticks to evaluate me with.  I brought many Japanese and Germans to this country to show Americans how to endure; people in those nations suffered much during and after World War II.Cultured people think the night is for sleeping, for instance, so they thought my way wasn't right for them.  Some people insisted they needed eight hours of sleep and three meals a day on time. But these criteria become obstacles when we are fighting the revolution of true love.


When Father told members to compete with the American members, the Americans thought it wouldn't work because these people didn't know the American nature.

But when the result came in, the Japanese and Germans were the winners and the Americans realized they had to change their outlook.

When you are in the midst of war or battle you cannot expect fine china and grand food.  Once you are able to finally gain true love, you see that it is the most cultured thing ever.

A Prayer: Allow Us to Discover Where Our Hearts Lie

Anything that is absolute has qualities that are unchanging and are everlasting.  Prayers are the same. True Father, as Rev. Sun Myung Moon is called by his followers, has set records with 20-hour speeches and strong fervent prayers where he not only sweat blood but also tears.  The following prayer was given in 1965.  One can feel the Father's heart from the deep path he had laid out on earth for God and His children to be set free:

"Father, please allow us to discover the condition in which our hearts now lie. We are aware that although our bodies have gathered together, each heart moves in its own direction. We are aware that we who were created by You should move only according to Your desire, and just as You created Adam, so too our hearts should be molded according to Your desire. Now our bodies have come together to form one altar, but we are concerned as to whether the true natures and essential natures of our hearts have become the temples in which You may dwell.

Please forgive us that even with such hearts we yearn for You, our precious Father. We are painfully aware of how much we need to feel the sensation that comes when our insufficient hearts brush against Your internal character and are suddenly lifted up.

We cannot but consider within the depths of our hearts how through Your history of restoration You have sought joy through calm discussion and have sought to manifest our missions solemnly. No one ever welcomed our Father solemnly or stood in a position for You to express Your hidden secrets. Through this moment we have taken to heart how it was only our Father who cried, and only our Father who suffered. Our Heavenly Father should be the True Father of all mankind, and our Heavenly Father and we ourselves must establish a three-dimensional relationship centered on eternal life.

Although we must become sons and daughters who realize these facts, if such a realization does not sprout from deep within our hearts, how can we call ourselves Your sons? How can we call ourselves Your daughters? When we realize that no ties or connections bind us together, we see that we also have no relationship with the Kingdom of Heaven which You would give us. Neither have we anything to do with the place for Your rest after You have suffered through the long history of resentment. Our suffering Father, our loving Father! Should You forsake our pitiful selves, we can only be buried in eternal death. What abilities do we have? We are so weak and so lacking in every way. We feel nothing but fear, and with such hearts receive Your love; turning our eyes toward heaven, we desperately await the hand of salvation.

Oh Father, we pray from deep within our hearts: please save our pitiful selves. History has reached its consummation. Father, You are surely aware of how the surging waves of death attack us from every direction and threaten to swallow us up. Because You have maintained a heart of concern for us and have kept the will to sacrifice for us, when You see us in our present situation, Your heart must rend asunder. Father, we beg that You may pity us and fulfill this moment.

Father, in this moment, we would like to confess our lonesome hearts before You and exchange them for Your heart. Surely You are aware of the pitiful situation we are in. We cannot live unless we can exchange our inexpressibly sad and grieving hearts for Your heart of joy and life. We pray, Father, that You may forgive us. Father even though You have sacrificed Yourself for us and taken upon Yourself all our suffering, still, because we are so fallen, we must again seek Your salvation.

Oh Father! Please let it be that the hearts of all gathered here may flow freely among themselves. Although we once were stumbling now we are all gathered here as brothers and sisters. We have gathered here to turn toward heaven, yearning for the Heavenly Word of restoration that will allow us to reach for Your original idea. So we beg that You take pity on us and raise us up. But who among us can stand before You in confidence?

Because, Father, You are confident, we have sought to be confident, and because You have told us how it must become, we have sought to believe this way. But if there is even the smallest mistake here, You will have to forgive us again, so we beg that You will give us direct guidance.

Father, we pray that You take pity on the race of thirty thousand. Without knowing the proper road to follow, our brothers can only wander aimless, crying and screaming on the road of life or death. We know, Father, that Satan is hunting for them and his power is increasing.

We must become people capable of feeling grief over this reality and testify to the road they must follow and decrease the power of Satan over them. In this way, we must raise the foundation of victory.

Oh Father! If our strength is not sufficient, please give us Your courage. Just as You directed Joshua and Caleb to be strong and of good courage, we beg that You may grant us Your words at this time. We pray that we may become heavenly sons and daughters who will offer the fate of the race of thirty thousand before our Father's altar, link them to Your life, and pay any sacrifice and fight to the end when Satan attacks trying to sever this precious lifeline.

Even today Your sons and daughters are scattered across the country. Father, they are bowing down before You and in tears they cry out with their sad hearts. On this tragic course where men are not able to comfort one another, but must live in a bitter, lonely environment, please take pity on Your sons and daughters who have so few brothers and sisters to whom they can confess their sorrow.

In this moment, by softly caressing each other's hearts we have seen how the world of Your heart moves beyond space and time. Because in this moment our hearts may be struck by Your guidance, we may experience a moment of the joy of being submerged in Your heart. If it may be allowed for this one brief moment, we beg that You may bring us Your word and hope that You may somehow spend this moment in our midst.

We do not ask for words of blessing. We only need the awareness that now is the time when we must know how we are lacking, and now is the time to know the heart that fears having to come to judgment without having wiped away the lineage of sin.

We pray that with such a body and mind, we may be able to approach the word that is permitted to us. We pray that the heart of he who speaks the word and the hearts of those who are about to receive the word may not be separated, but will become one heart and be able to touch Your heart that overflows in deep truth and love.

We pray that in this moment, we may take on our Father's internal character and humbly bow before You, and that this may be a moment in which the heart of respect and honor may flow among us and that there may not even be the smallest opening through which Satan may invade. We pray in the name of our precious Lord. Amen.

Father, please allow us to discover the condition in which our hearts now lie. We are aware that although our bodies have gathered together, each heart moves in its own direction. We are aware that we who were created by You should move only according to Your desire, and just as You created Adam, so too our hearts should be molded according to Your desire. Now our bodies have come together to form one altar, but we are concerned as to whether the true natures and essential natures of our hearts have become the temples in which You may dwell.

Please forgive us that even with such hearts we yearn for You, our precious Father. We are painfully aware of how much we need to feel the sensation that comes when our insufficient hearts brush against Your internal character and are suddenly lifted up.

We cannot but consider within the depths of our hearts how through Your history of restoration You have sought joy through calm discussion and have sought to manifest our missions solemnly.

No one ever welcomed our Father solemnly or stood in a position for You to express Your hidden secrets. Through this moment we have taken to heart how it was only our Father who cried, and only our Father who suffered. Our Heavenly Father should be the True Father of all mankind, and our Heavenly Father and we ourselves must establish a three-dimensional relationship centered on eternal life.

Although we must become sons and daughters who realize these facts, if such a realization does not sprout from deep within our hearts, how can we call ourselves Your sons? How can we call ourselves Your daughters?

When we realize that no ties or connections bind us together, we see that we also have no relationship with the Kingdom of Heaven which You would give us. Neither have we anything to do with the place for Your rest after You have suffered through the long history of resentment. Our suffering Father, our loving Father! Should You forsake our pitiful selves, we can only be buried in eternal death.

What abilities do we have? We are so weak and so lacking in every way. We feel nothing but fear, and with such hearts receive Your love; turning our eyes toward heaven, we desperately await the hand of salvation.

Oh Father, we pray from deep within our hearts: please save our pitiful selves. History has reached its consummation. Father, You are surely aware of how the surging waves of death attack us from every direction and threaten to swallow us up. Because You have maintained a heart of concern for us and have kept the will to sacrifice for us, when You see us in our present situation, Your heart must rend asunder. Father, we beg that You may pity us and fulfill this moment.
