Relationships Need True Love to Work

Without true love, men and woman cannot trust each other. They use each other to serve themselves.

Sexual union is the crowning glory of marital love.

When a couple unites through sex, this symbolizes the mingling of the hearts, blood and lives of the two partners.

This is God’s delight as well.

Before the Fall, sex was not seen as dirty or something shameful.  God would be a part of the marriage couple’s pleasurable, sacred lovemaking.

But history has provided evidence of people having difficulty disciplining their sexuality and remain faithful to their partners.

Lovers who are not committed to one another can leave behind unwanted children, diseases, adults who prey on children who are not theirs in the relationship and so on.

It is all too easy for the body to subjugate the mind, for instinct to override conscience in the arena of sex.

Some attribute this to an individual’s childhood trauma and learning.

Others blame social conditioning based on the struggle of power in relationships.  Still others have sought to explain this behavior in light of early social patterns by tracing back to the earliest communities.

Some religious traditions and psychologies look to ancient myths, legends and stories that tell of the origins of human suffering through a human Fall.

These myths are respected and thought of as revealing of profound inner truths that are too deep and not easy to convey, thus are shown through powerful images and narratives.


“Myths are facts of the mind made manifest in a fiction of matter,” asserts anthropologist Joseph Campbell.


The tale of Adam and Eve in the book of Genesis in the Bible quickly comes to mind.

The Qur’an also has a counterpart story.

Reverend Moon found the root of sexual immorality and the secret of all human suffering and self-destructiveness.

These traits are tied up with the reason why it is easy to misuse love and why societies are witnessing harmful relationship patterns between men and women throughout history.

What is this secret revealed in the story of Adam and Eve?

How does the abuse of sexuality between individuals and relationships impact society?


The Human Downfall

The Bible states that the first man and woman brought evil and suffering into the world.

At that time, they enjoyed everything in Heaven on Earth freely.  But God gave them one warning: do not eat a certain fruit.

The Bible states that a crafty serpent (the Qur’an is a vengeful angel) who tempted the women with the promise that if she delve into the fruit she would gain wisdom and divine likeness to God.  He made it seem that God was keeping this power from humanity and keeping it to Himself, hence bringing a word contrary to God.

After this, she saw that the fruit was good to eat for her and ate it.

Further in the story, Eve gave the fruit to Adam.  As the snake promised, they both gained wisdom.  But by eating the fruit which God warned them against eating, it brought shame and guilt upon the man and woman so they hid themselves from God.

They first covered their sexual parts.

In every drawing or account of the Fall of Adam and Eve, it has the man and woman covering their sexual organs.

When a person makes a mistake, they cover their transgressions.  The fact that the couple covered their sexual organs, shows that their mistake was in these lower parts.

This is similar to when two people are caught in fornication or adultery

When this story first circulated, this was probably transparent to the audiences then.  In the Middle East, they understand the euphemism of ‘eating of fruit’ to mean sexual relations.

Also, the expression, ‘to know’ someone as in having sexual relations with another.

Thus the Tree of Knowledge takes on sexual connotations as well. 

Many who speak of having sex outside of marriage or in immature relations promise that they will become mature and experienced.

People still expect this from sex.

When sex is violated in this way, they bear foretold consequences from their deeds: painful childbirth, distrust and tension between men and women, not able to grow and mature in love any further, and a profound separation from God who is the source of love and life.

The Hebrew tale of Paradise Lost, written by Milton brought in a sexual counterpart, and early writings of Jewish and Christian clergy did as well, In the historical perspective, according to scholars makes the Biblical account unmistakable: the tree, snake and the women’s name and other features alludes to the widespread practice of temple prostitution and the story was a deliberate parody to denounce it.

These writings place a sexual sin at the core of all human disorder and misery.

Other myths imply the same detail.  A Shinto myth has a god and his wife engage improperly in conjugal love.  They may call it incest.  Then they correctly give birth to the islands of Japan.  The goddess dies and a misfortune befalls their first son and daughter. Kojiki 4.1-6.1

Hindu and Buddhist text also tell their tale tying the origins of suffering to sexual indiscretions.

The Greek myth of Pandora tells of a woman who betrays her promise to her immortal fiance and opens a box which releases all kinds of suffering into the world.

This box can easily symbolize a woman’s sexual parts which are opened by another instead of her husband.


Ambivalence towards sexuality

Intuitively, there is a link between sexuality and the origins of human evil.  This forms the basis of the mixed messages within certain religions regarding sex.

The chosen people of Israel had a distinguished mark of circumcision.  This is a mutilation of the male organ which was involved in the Fall.

Christians and Buddhist favor celibacy as their path to sanctification and enlightenment.

Sex is a sacred gift which has become degraded and dangerous.

In the context of wider society, sexuality is honored.  For instance, poetry and songs celebrate its goodness and maligned on the other or the vulgar ways people refer to it when expressing hate and aggression.


Subtle Ramifications

The substance of these sacred narratives is the content of contemporary life.

People indulge in sex without being mature or involved in marriage.  This brings on more heartbreak and distortion about true love.

The most ironic consequence of thinking about casual sex is that people are blind to these very consequences.

Thus, the supreme and sacred power of sexual love with all of its intrinsic psychological and emotional, moral and spiritual, relational, social and lineal ramifications comes to be reduced to merely a pleasurable physical activity, like eating or sleeping. 

The real costs of premature sexual relations on the personal and social level and the impact on God are largely overlooked.  Technology can take care of the unwanted pregnancy and sexual infections, but the damage it causes to the spirit are irreversible.

We Can Accuse Satan's Sins

As we go about our daily lives, we are unaware of how our actions invite Satan in or lay a ground for his accusations to God.  Satan is so arrogant, he even accuses God.

He tells God, "God, I am the chief devil that constantly changes. I am the ancestor of changeability.  But you are the ancestor of heaven and earth, the substance of the unchanging Lord, aren't you?  Don't you embody the principles of unchangeableness in life?

"I fell and became rebellious.  But you are responsible to uphold the original standard which You set up. I can freely pass in and out of the doors of the ideal world, but since I can't live there I must come out." Then God would answer, "You are absolutely right."

If we commit one sin, then Satan immediately accuses us before God and says, "Because of his sin, then he should go to hell."

Even though Satan has indeed sinned himself, and undoubtedly planted the seed of sin into the world, no one has ever come forward to accuse Satan in front of God for his own sin.

Partly because no one has been able to pinpoint exactly what the nature of his sin is which he ardently had been hiding from humanity.

If we commit even one sin, Satan, the devil, will immediately accuse us before God and say, "Because of his sin, this guy must go to hell."

Though Satan, who accuses human beings for their sin, has surely committed sins himself, no one has ever come forward to accuse Satan in front of God for his sin.

Don't you think that the absolute, almighty God would lay a path where mankind, His greatest masterpieces, can eradicate Satan completely?

When a person comes forth and says to God, "Absolute God!  From the viewpoint of Your power and authority, Satan has committed this-and-that unpardonable sin against humankind and against You.  Please punish him."

If God was unable to remove Satan through this method, then how is He all-knowing and all-powerful, instead he would be siding with Satan, not humankind.

Actually, Satan is an archangel.  He must go to heaven only after Adam and Eve are perfected and enter the heavenly principle of creation and after receiving love from God and then from them.

Although Satan made a mistake on the way, if he was to humble himself and say, 'I am a servant and a traitor, yet, You Lord decided the great principles of heavenly law and established Your essential traditions based on them.  Upon these principles, You established there is one that lets You enter the Kingdom of Heaven only after loving the perfected Adam and the archangel. Surely You cannot abandon that principle?"

God is caught. He answers, "You are right." Satan traps God saying, "Although I became what I am, You, God, surely cannot be like me." 

Since the devil is an archangel, he says, "Weren't the children who can enter the Kingdom of Heaven originally supposed to love me? Isn't it the original principle of creation that You, God, and Adam may enter the Kingdom of Heaven only after You and Adam love me?" 

He further pushes God, saying, "Unless this is done, You cannot avoid my accusations. You have to establish the condition that You loved me and that Your son Adam also loved me."

This problem is the reason behind the teaching, "Love your enemy," given to all religious people of faith.

Once we enter a parent-child relationship with God, when the sons cries in sorrow, God the Father will also cry.  Then Satan will flee, He cannot remain there.

The world will not be able to be brought back to the heavenly side unless someone appears who stands in a position higher than Satan and regain the heavenly authority.

In other words, someone must appear with such a standard that they can drag Satan before God and charge him saying, "God! Satan has committed such sins!  Why don't you judge him?"

Sadly, Satan has has dragged humanity around by the yoke of sin.  We should reverse this, capture Satan and bring him before God and accuse him.

The problem is, that even though people today, know that Satan exists, they do no know exactly what sin he has committed.

Then why doesn't the all-knowing, all-powerful God strike down the fallen archangel? Why doesn't God get rid of Satan?  It is because He must also love him.

Because until now, no one has been able to accuse Satan before God and say, "God!  With Your almighty authority, please punish this sinful Satan."

Even though the archangel who God created had become Satan, God has to maintain the principled standard of thinking of the archangel as he was before the Fall.

This is why we should love the archangel: Adam and Eve are God's creation and the body of God.  Therefore, Adam and Eve must love Satan, also.

God cannot be hard on Satan for killing millions of His beloved sons and daughter in history because God is responsible for not having fully loved the archangel.  So, when Satan accuses us he'll say, "God, so and so is doing this and that."

Now because of the Completed Testament, we can know these things that no one previously understood.

Now, you can drag Satan in front of God and accuse him.  Would God say you were wrong or would He be pleased?

No doubt God would exclaim,"oh my son" and want to bless you eternally.  How intensely has God yearned for that time throughout history?

If someone comes forward that can press charges and accuse Satan, God can thus, judge Satan.

Since the first parents sinned, God is unable to freely do as He wishes.  Just the same as if a child commits a murder and has to go to jail.  Can the mother or sibling take responsibility for the crime?  They cannot, this is heavenly law.

They sinned with Satan by following his word and will instead of God's.  But God does not pass judgment on Satan or Adam and Eve for what they have done, despite what we have been taught through sermons.  God leads the providence of salvation to restore humankind back to our original position.

Although God hears Satan's accusation, he is unable to pass judgment.  This presents a problem when we look at it from a theological standpoint.  How is it possible that the almighty God cannot handle Satan?

God has no interest in fighting because there is no concept of war or fighting in the ideal world of God's creation.

If fighting were to occur in the ideal world then it would fall into dualism.

Basically, fighting does not have anything to do with an ideal world of peace.  There is no concept of struggle within God's ideal world of creation.

How did Satan fall away from his position in front of God?

He created division in large things and small things. God combines small worthless things into something large. 

God's way is contrary to Satan's. 

The origin of the universe seeks true love and the principles by which He created the universe.  We see that Satan went against this origin instead of obeying Him, he went his own way and thus fell away from his position.

The original nature of the almighty, unique and eternal God is to live one hundred percent for the sake of others.

Throughout history, God wins over His enemy through bringing him into submission through the principles of love, not by His strength and power.

Therefore, Satan must give up the position he stole from God voluntary.

God desired to bring His enemy to complete submit before Him and gratefully receive humanity's judgement as the servant which was his original position.  Until this happens, his sins cannot be indemnified.

Leading the Future

If you take a look into history, you'll notice that we are headed into the direction of one united world.  Is the thought of a united world a dumb idea?  Millions of people in the world may be against this idea.

Many people fear that that reality will be like a communist tyranny, but a united world and people is God's ideal for creation since the beginning.  Communism tries to bring about world peace through force, taking away human freedom and doing so without God.  This is the major difference.

The church that is willing to sacrifice itself for the good of the nation, will lead the way in the future.

Have you met anyone who works hard to reach third place?

In the past, America thrived in the number one position in the world.  Any other country that was different than that standard was in second place.  Now, America is in the third position and dropping.  If someone was to show evidence that America still was blessed in the first position would be false.

There is a desire for America to be in the number one position because God sacrificed to bless America to lead the world with its Christian values.

America was the youngest country and it won the number one position after only two hundred years of its official inception.  This is because it had its strong roots in the ethics of Christianity.  America was number one in all of the fields.  Is it easy for one country to accomplish that task?  It takes a lot of discipline and training to be and also stay in the number one position.

Is this possible, probable or just remote?

How long would a small village last that had citizens that starved while other feast everyday?

It is inevitable that this village is bound to have fighting and separation.  If the world moves toward equal privileges and equality, who would complain in that type of society?  Therefore, the unequally wealthy will not sustain that position for long.

The whole world first belongs to God. 

Groups will own the things bigger than the individual; hundreds of millions of small groups will have ownership. Members of a church sacrificing themselves for world peace will be the forerunners and pioneers toward a world of peace.  Everyone in the future will fight to do the work that needs to be done.  The technology will advance so much that just a push of the button on a computer is all that is needed.  It will be enjoyable and people will compete to that type of work.


We see that automation will become more and more advanced, such that eventually you don't even need to go to the workplace. By satellite, the factory can be controlled from home. That's high tech. You may not realize it, but that day is already here.

Technology is so advanced that a corporation doesn't have to operate from the office.  Faxes, telephones, computers and the internet have advanced so much that one doesn't have to travel everywhere to get the message out or do the work.  Technology blossomed in the 20s to support the mission of the Second Coming for this purpose.



The Sheep

Just like the tide in the ocean: heart moves the same way. 


When we discuss the tide or current of the heart, we only can take examples from the physical world because it is our only reality.  The world living in heart is the same as the physical world.

The Korean language has an explanation about the current world of heart or living based on the heart.  The word 'woon' translate to mean 'carrier'.  This represents 'army' and 'cart'.  This is the same as a safely covered vehicle and means to bring safely into a certain place.  A fast car will carry you to a certain poin safely without an accident.  That's fate.  That is luck.

How does luck work?

Luck or fate always follows the current of the heart.  If there is heavenly luck, that means the current of the heart is being followed, thus you are covered in luck.

People in the West, who are more materialistic,  do not understand why Orientals emphasize aspects such as filial piety, patriotism and sainthood.  Orientals themselves did not understand why they were doing those things.  They simply thought it was the right direction. They were just following the heartistic current.   So they were in the heavenly fate, exalting benevolence, beauty and love.

Beauty, in the Chinese character, is composed of "big sheep." The big sheep is the one who sacrifices himself greatly on behalf of others. Also, in the character meaning righteous, the sheep occupies the top position. Why the sheep? The sheep signifies sacrifice. Thus he is righteous.

The Chinese characters for the word 'beauty' is composed of 'big sheep'.  

The Bible unceasingly symbolizes Jesus as the lamb carrying the burdens of the world.  This sheep was pierced and sacrificed with the sword.



The Chinese character for 'heaven' shows two men, not one man.  The principle states that two centering on love that come together is the essence of the ideal of creation.




Without love, they cannot make oneness.




We must accept the logic and reason behind the flow of heavenly fate: it travels the heartistic current, the heartistic tide.

We preserve heavenly fate through sacrifice.  When we do service for others, we stay in the realm of heavenly fate.  The general direction of heavenly fate, therefore, is always somewhere beyond the individual's interest.

HEavenly fate moves toward the greater whole.  It follows always in a straight line, a straight direction.  God connects it back to the individual.  This straight line of heart is the safe route for the individual to travel and reach God.  Heavenly fate begins from God and moves on the line to bigger and bigger levels until reaching the whole universe.  Love is always a straight line.




The only straight line is the line of love.




Why is Love a Straight Line?


The act of love between grandparents, parents and a young couple just beginning are exactly the same.  It is the same for white and black people.  Eternally it will be the same.  The way they prepare food east and west are different, but the way they love is the same.


 For white and black it is the same. The animal kingdom, too, is the same.  Can we change the quality of love or improve it?  Love is the one thing that cannot and does not need to be improved.  The way of love is true within the plant and animal kingdom.  Man is no exception.

The family needs the son or daughter of filial piety.  The nation needs the patriot.  The world needs the saint. The cosmic world needs the holy son.  These four levels are connected by love:  son and daughter of filial piety, patriot, saint, and holy son. These levels have love in common.

These levels always operate on the path of love and connect like a crystal.  This can be called crystallized love.  Why?  This way, we inherit the universal blessing.  When we get that blessing, we are liberated; we are really free.  In freedom, we become the subject, the center.




Everything moves at our will.





Have you noticed that we all want to be the center of all things.  This is a natural desire.  What most people do not recognize is that you do not become the center through knowledge or power.

The contents of that center or any other center is the same.  They may be on different levels, but they contain the same contents.  If you take this center anywhere, it will be welcomed.  The underlying concept is that of 'sacrificial contribution", sacrificing oneself.  Heart.

In the realm of the realm of heart is where it is possible for the spiritual world to come to the physical plane.  Then they can unite together.  This unity can only come in the heartistic realm.  In other words, this unity of spiritual world and physical world comes only through love.

This relationship between the vertical and horizontal is absolutely ninety degrees wherever it travels.  Heavenly fate always follows.  Where their is a true, perfect joining of these two world, love fills the space like air fill space.


Images of Truth


In a man's face, if the angle between the line of the eyes and the line of the nose is perfectly ninety degrees, this person is an honest person. 

This line is very important.  The navel should be on this line and line up right down the center of the breast and the reproductive organ, too, straight down.  If there is a straight line, if there is a straight line, that person will rise up in the world.

When you train your eyes to see these things, you can interpret the person's future.  The Messiah is at the top of that area.

Those with very small eyes can see things at a distance.  Big eyes see thing close up.  This is the same principle for the camera lens.  People from the West come from pirate ancestors who are always moving and pioneering. So, the westerners' eyes resemble the ocean and Orientals eyes the earth.  They have big eyes and see things near them very accurately.


Which is the subject - the earth or ocean?   Is ocean subject?  In all of history, no one would claim ocean is subject.  Earth is subject.  If the ocean is subject then all of civilization would be made of boats and built on the ocean.  Human civilization started at the river, then went to the island, then peninsula and continent.  The Mediterranean, the Atlantic, the Pacific, in this way civilization developed.

So, western civilization should embrace everything  that comes to the Pacific ocean and reaches the other side of the Pacific Ocean. Now, we are entering the ocean culture that is reaching to that new island in the Asian civilization era.                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                     The western civilization had a vague idea of the future of the ocean trend, but were not certain how to bring this about and hesitated. The Messiah builds a bridge and teaches about the coming ocean era.  He gives them confidence and reassurance to help western civilization. Men from the west want to go to Asia and get an Asian wife.  This is how a man of conscience feels.

Why is this so?  It is where the heavenly fate is going.  The ocean causes erosion to the shore, scraping more and more land, but the land doesn't mind.  As more is scraped, the ocean become shallower and islands rise.

Where there is more erosion at beaches and are more severe, the earth does not protest this natural phenom.  It allows this scraping which goes on for tens of thousands of years never resting.  The earth has a tremendous endurance.  Water, on the other hand, does not have endurance.

The Tide of the Heart

Original Relationship of Husband, Wife in Perfect World

If you are from America, you heard of the books, "Men are from Mars, Women are from Venus" and "How to Think Like a Man".  Hilarious in matter, serious in content.  Men and women are completely different from the way they think to how they even interact with others.

Why would God create two polar opposite individuals who would someday co-habitate?

"One man and one woman are the substantial object of the invisible God, His son and His daughter. Man represents God's masculine (+) nature and woman represents God's feminine (-) nature. God -- the harmonized body of the dual characteristics -- is divided into two entities formed separately, and these separate bodies are to be united again to resemble God. "

This is the principle of creation.

When a man and a woman unite, they represent the original unity of God's plus nature and minus nature.  They resemble God's harmonious body, and the husband and wife symbolize the whole of God.

A man who exhibits God's characteristics is True Father's incarnation and the woman is True Mother's incarnation respectively becoming representatives of God.  You see a similar representation of this of a husband who is the reverend and the wife supports him centered on God's will taking care of the people with whom God entrusted them.  Therefore, when a couple such as this becomes one in love they are embracing the entire universe as God.  They become the central point of the entire cosmos.

We must change our thinking when we are entering marriage.  Many marriages are just one-sided as a couple sees one another as a husband and wife.  In the original principle of creation, God created Adam and Eve to relate on the sister and brother level first. 

You can see this as the friend level or the 'getting to know you' level.  Instead, they immediately entered into a sexual relationship without the foundation of relating as brothers and sisters under God.

Husband and wife represent more than man and woman relationship:

"A husband represents all men, so he is father and older and younger brother as well as husband; a wife represents all women, so she is mother and older and younger sister as well as wife. That's why husband and wife should naturally respect each other."

Man is God's positive external form and woman is God's negative external form, so a couple is like a bag which has inside it the whole universe. Therefore, a husband and wife can feel the ideal of God's heart of love.

Man symbolizes heaven and woman symbolizes earth. They are to unite and form parallel lines.

The perfection of man and woman's love is the perfection of the universe. When this love is broken, the order of the universe and the vertical world are destroyed.  The world's situation all began with the corruption of love between a man and a woman who began a family that grew into a society, nation and world.  If you look back at all great stories of kings, you will see that their major downfall was the corrupted love for a woman.  You see also in the religious community, many high power men of faith lose their congregation's trust for the moment of lustfulness for a woman.



The Union of Man and Woman Equals Union of Heaven and Earth

You may hear or know of a man who says of his wife, "She is my whole world." Being in love gives the sense of ownership of the entire universe when you are completely united with your spouse centered on the love of God.

When a man and woman such as this embrace, it is the union of the whole universe itself.  This interaction of husband and wife will resemble the appearance of the original creation in which God intended to be His ideal.

After Adam and Eve had a sexual relationship without God's authority, they were cursed:

The Lord God made garments of skin for Adam and Eve and clothed them.  And the Lord God said among the angels, "The man has now become like one of us, knowing good and evil.  He must not be allowed to reach out his hand and take also from the tree of life and eat, and live forever." So the Lord God banished him from the Garden of Eden to work the ground from which he had been created.

Genesis 3:21-23

Does this sound like the end of the fairy tale of a life lived in heaven on earth which God had envisioned before creation?

Adam's original purpose of creation was to unite with God, and his desire was to control the entire cosmos.  Adam also cherished the value of husband and wife.  This desire represented the central value of the world which God created.  In today's evil society, do we see true love occupying couples as the central position? 

No.

People only value selfish desires and having immediate gratification in a relationship and moving to the next without investing heart or true love.  You should know the utmost value and holiness of the original love of a man and woman and should not follow the current trend of love which leads to destruction of the sanctity of marriage.


The Ideal Of The True Husband And Wife, Which Must Be Restored

When a man and woman decide they will be united in marriage, they should know that it is not just a union of two diverse backgrounds, but that they are also restoring the types of loves in the Garden of Eden which God lost.  The son and daughter position, the brother and sister position, parent and child and the husband and wife position.

When a woman enters marriage, she should view her husband as God's son and representative.  The current situation is that the roles of husband and wife have shifted.

The woman is in the position of a daughter to her husband and the husband should restore her as God's lost daughter.  Through his love for his wife centered on God's will, he should restore the lost daughter's position.

This can explain that the first four or seven years of marriage is so difficult.  If people realize that they are restoring an entire history of lost relationships whenever they relate upon each other, they will be more able to stay the original course when difficulties arise.

Therefore the wife should trust her husband more than she does her father. This is what the bible refers to that the man must leave his mother and father and join to his wife.  They have to face each other centering on this standard, which is much more valuable than the sum of their past experiences. Unless they restore this heartistic standard, husband and wife cannot restore the standard of the ideal object, which was destroyed by Satan.


Husband and Wife Relation

Everyone was born into a family whether later on they separate or not, each person was born from the sexual relationship of a man and woman.  We each learn about love and how to raise a family from our own family, even if this family is broken.

In that case, a husband should treat his wife as his mother, and become so intimate that they cannot bear to stay from one another for even a day.  Their existence is absolutely needed by the other.  If a man and woman do not have a relationship such as this, they do not have a condition to restore the three loves of daughter/son, sister/brother and husband/wife which they would pass this to their family.

God's original plan was that you and I would center our relationship of the opposite sex on Him by first becoming perfect, our other half would become perfected and we would enter the union of marriage with God as our center.

The original ideal wife is the incarnation of the mother, the representation of the mother's body for her husband.  This is why women see their husband's 'immaturity' at times, because the original position of wife is also as the mother to her husband to help raise and restore this position. 

The wife is also to be the physical encapsulation of an older sister and of a younger sister representing all women of the earth in front of her husband.  Then a man loves his wife to this full extension of the mother, older and younger sister on the level of all humanity.

Likewise, a husband is the father's incarnation for his wife. He is also the physical encapsulation of her older brother and younger brother. We must accomplish this ideal of the family. A man is True Father's incarnation and a woman is True Mother's incarnation. Therefore, neglecting one's wife is like neglecting True Mother, and deceiving one's husband is the same as deceiving heaven.

A wife should consider her husband as her father and grandfather and then as her older brother and younger brother.

A husband is to raise up his wife as his younger sister, to love her as his bride and to serve her as his mother. He is to love his wife in the order of younger sister, older sister, bride, and mother. By going through this course, we can restore the love that God lost due to the fall.

"Why Do We Marry? We marry to discipline ourselves to love the world and to qualify ourselves to love humankind."

When we married centered on God, we receive the Blessing for the sake of God and the world.   How do we love the world through the unity of our spouse?  Our spouse represents the world, so when we love our spouse we love the world.

 A woman should love her husband who is in place of her father, older brother, and younger brother, and a man is to love his wife in place of his mother, older sister and younger sister.  A husband and wife who give stimulating love and respect one another who represent all four generations is an ideal couple.  This relationship is the basic foundation to give and receive in worldwide love.

Now knowing the original standard of love in a family, we see how the world fell apart from the very first generation born into the Garden of Eden.  There, the husband and wife were not united centered on God and the first brothers encountered conflict and murder. And we are here spreading this foundation for thousands of years.

The husband and wife relationship is the basic unit to give and receive worldwide love. Because Jesus couldn't set up this basic condition, the Marriage of the Lamb, bringing together a bride and a bridegroom representing the world, should be held this time.

Standard of Marriage


Many women complain that their husbands are immature, but after seeing God's original ideal for a husband and wife, we see that a husband was to think of his wife as his mother.  Rev. Moon told the men in his congregation,

"Unless you are determined you have to be the baby. Be a baby! It is not bad to be a baby. A woman likes a man playing on affections. Try it if she likes! Try crying over food like a baby. Don't worry. God won't scold you for your immature behavior. It is inevitable in the course of restoration. to restore the lost love of woman, you cannot restore the original family standard."

God has not had the experience of true parental love, conjugal love and children's love with one person; this results in His resentment and heartache, which must be restored. When those three kinds of love are induced through one person, the heartistic Kingdom of Heaven can be restored. Ultimately, the only problem is love.

Centered on a bride and bridegroom, they can begin a whole new history and restore the past mistakes of their ancestors.  The couple stands in a position centered on God and can judge the past history and reverse these misdeeds through their interactions between one another.  Uniting with God, they can begin a new history and become new ancestors not connected to the past mistakes.

When a bride and a bridegroom individually are restored through indemnity and become a husband and a wife representing heaven and earth, God will acknowledge them, saying, "You are the flesh of my flesh, the most dutiful son and the most loyal subject." Then they are qualified to represent all the nations of the world.

It is not easy to be a husband or a wife. Do you know how difficult it is for God to find an ideal object on this earth? After losing His sons and daughters, God has been establishing religions at the cost of great sacrifice through the course of history.

Dare you fight with each other after receiving such valuable love? It is easier to be the president of one nation than to be a husband or a wife of one family. The husband is the substantial God on earth. Man is the substantial representative of heaven and woman is the substantial representative of earth. When they are harmonized, the ideal is accomplished, filled with joy and song.

Knowing how long God has suffered to create a foundation based on a couple to restore the lost history of His ideal, can a husband and wife fight after receiving such valuable love? 

It is easier to be president of the world than to be a husband and wife of one family.  The husband represents the physical being of God and heaven and woman is the substantial representative of earth.  When they harmonize the ideal of God's original purpose is accomplished and He is filled with joy.

"The power of love is limitless, so when you are intoxicated with God's love, you are in God's dominion."

God wants to establish a family which is objective to God and which is qualified to receive His love, so you shouldn't fight. It is not that the husband is not responsible for his wife's mistakes or that the husband can stand righteously while a wife does something evil. You should serve your spouse as God, more than you serve anybody else in the nation or world.

A woman becomes God's object when she is happy to see her husband as she is to see the president.  As God's object of love you have the same value as God, and when you completely love God your love can penetrate through any barrier and anywhere on earth.  When you pass onto the spirit world with such love, you will be one with God.

True love can unite all the creation.

Your husband is sent by God, the Lord and the King. He carries God's bundle of love, so you cannot deny such a precious guest, whether he is handsome or not. Without this understanding, you are not qualified to get married.

"There is no boundary in love."

The whole universe will embrace in the realm of your love when you relate to the four directions with your love.  You love subjects as  if they are your King, humankind as the Lord and the universe as God.  When you love based on this standard, this enables you to go to the Kingdom of Heaven which is the place where those who love humankind with the same love as their own spouses or their Lord can go.  Love Humankind as your own brothers, sisters and mother and father.  When you see an elderly man in the streets and you see them as your own grandparents and treat them as such, this brings Heaven on Earth. 

Man is in the subject position and does not like it when anyone intervenes with his affairs.  But true love and truth can control anybody.  Woman likes and wants to receive love and becomes passive in this situation.  From this viewpoint, man is to be the giver and woman is the receiver.  This is why the oneness of man and woman is also the oneness of heaven and earth. 

"Only love can dominate the universe." 

Since your only obtain true love from your spouse, when you consider this, your spouse's value is greater than the universe.  We all desire to have an object who can receive and cherish us.

You are to love people.

The husband represents all men to his wife and is the representative of all the men of the nation, the world and the spirit world.  Also, the wife is the representative of all the women in the nation, world and spirit world.

In the process of building the Kingdom of Heaven on Earth, the man should relate and love all the women of the world as he loves his wife.  A man should think that he chose his wife as the companion who represents all the women of the world and the women should think the same of her husband.

What do you have to love first in order to love your nation?

Before a man can love his nation, he must be able to love one woman as the representative of all women in the nation, and the same is true for women.  When these two representatives become one through a holy marriage and begin a family, that family belongs to heaven.  This is the beginning of establishing Heaven on Earth and in Heaven.
