Hell Has no Relationship w/God's Love

Truly, what was the Fall?

Humanity fell into the darkest of nights because of the Fall, transforming our ticket to heaven to a ticket to hell.

Hell is a place that has no relationship to God's love, life or lineage or even to God Himself.

Hell is a place where you are alone and you are shut of from everything.

You have a longing for what you cannot attain.  You will feel the happiness in the large realm of this universe, but you will not be able to move one inch.

“So what is it that I am doing? I am initiating a movement to love God, heaven and earth, based on a universal system of thought: the Principle.

“This is so that from now on, you have to prepare the way you will take when you go to the spirit world. You are doing great things by making such preparations.”

Do you know how vast the spirit world is?  Since it is such an infinite world, you must have a global and universal mind to keep up with the pace of that world.  Therefore, you are making that world the stage for your activities while you are here on earth.

This is impossible if you are individualistic and worry only about your own needs.

If you are not able to connect to the whole, what greater hell is there than that?  It would be the same as catching an eagle and locking him in a dark hole where he could not move or feed.

The eagle symbolizes America.  Wouldn’t it be miserable to live just to eat and satisfy the stomach?  Is that happiness or unhappiness?

To commit suicide is the worst sin of all sins. It is an atrocity that destroys the universe. 

A person who commit’s the crime of killing themselves will go to the lowest of hells.

What if one of your nostrils was plugged and you could only breathe just a little bit through your other nostril?  That would be hell.

Hell is where you are unable to receive when you want.  It is also when you cannot give when you want to.

How long can you endure holding your breath?  How long can you go without exhaling or inhale when you need to?  That is hell.

You cannot eat without God's love in the spirit world. 

Without God’s love in the spirit world, you do not have the right to eat.

Hell is a place where you watch others eat, but cannot eat.  Only those who have experienced the life of heaven on earth with their mind and body united can take ownership in the Kingdom of Heaven.

What do you do when you are in spirit world?  Do you still eat?

You eat food based on love.  Therefore, a person who doesn’t have love will not be able to open his mouth no matter how much he wants to eat.  The food will jump from his face.  This is his punishment.

The world on earth is in chaos.  What about spirit world?  Since humans go to the spirit world in confusion, then the spirit world ends up in chaos as well.

Stealing something becomes a habit.  Once a person who steals a lot on earth goes to spirit world, he naturally wants to get something for nothing on the other side.  Since it is difficult to deal with an unprincipled person such as this, hell was created to separate them.

God did not create hell.  It is a storage place for waste and has nothing to do with God’s love.  All of humanity who begins from false love inevitably go to hell.

God also does not send people to hell, people go to hell on their own accord.

If a person who lived an evil, selfish life on earth was to go to heaven, they would not be able to breathe because the air there is God’s love.

Since they were not able to exercise their love lung while on earth, they will have to go to the lower parts of spirit world where they are comfortable.

Therefore, the person who goes to heaven lives with God eternally.

Since God’s mind and body are united, if a man and woman and their family can do the same and live together in front of God, and become His object partners, they will naturally go to the Kingdom of Heaven in spirit world after leaving the earth.

Those who lived a life with God while on earth could not live in hell.  They would not be able to breathe and the smell and taste would be repulsive.

If you reach heaven, you would be able to freely come and go from there even visit hell.  Would you rather be a person who is limited to a space in hell or a liberated person who is free?

You have to think of difficult people as the gate keeper and think that you are going to touch and melt their heart so they will guide you when you reach those gates.

Hell is a place without a future. 

Heaven has a future.

The Fall began in the place where there is no future in the public sense.  The self became the center and living for humanity’s own sake forsaking god is the way to hell.

Living for others is the way to heaven. That is the concept of heaven and hell. 

A flattened balloon slowly rises when it is filled with hydrogen.  It seems that the balloon can rise to any height, but it has limits.

A balloon stops at the place where it finds a balance with its own weight and remains at the same level of atmospheric pressure.

This is the same case in the spirit world.

Those who are greedy go down. They are heavy. 

For that reason, hell is where heavy things gather and collide with one another.

What if a racist white person went to the spirit world and the gate keeper to heaven was black?

If a person was blocked from entering heaven and made to go back, he might cling to the gatekeeper at that time and cry out for them to have mercy on them.

He would experience a living hell that is hundreds and thousands of times greater than any suffering they caused the black people in his lifetime.

“If I were God, I would also put such keepers by the gates. “

Everyone lives under the rule of the universal law.  No one can free themselves from this law.  This affects the order of love and morality from the family level to universal and then God.

One who has violated heavenly law is not free to go anywhere in the universe.

There is nowhere to run or go where you wish.

To attain a life that is supported by all the laws including the laws of nature, the true path is the one giving love and living for the sake of others.

You should realize that hell does exist. Hell is a place one goes who does not follow the way of carrying the banner of love.

“I hope that you can stand in court and be victorious.”

When you do not have the discipline to practice love, when you go to spirit world a reaction comes against you from everyone there, nobody will tell you or send you to hell.


Public or Private

Being public means living for the greater good, doesn't it? Being private means putting yourself first. Living for your own sake leads to hell. Public-mindedness leads to heaven.

Unification Church members are not without value.

We may look simple, but we are not a simple group that believes that we go to heaven by just going to church on Sunday or through just holding a Bible under our arm or giving tithing every now and then.

As a people, once we believe in something, we do it till the end.

Even if our spouse grabs us from following this path we are intense and follow the path of faith even at the risk of divorce.

The reason you suffer now is for the sake of finding the freedom of heaven. 

Even if you go to hell, after living such a courageous life on earth, no one in hell can hold you there after they have judged your life.

Going down to a lower position is something that would never happen in a society of brothers, but is only possible within the realm of the parental heart.

God can go to the bottom of hell where His children suffer; this is the example of a parent - a true parent.

What is the True Way of Life?

Modern life is ripe with ambiguity, pain and a lot of disappointment.

All people enter the world with a hope to have fulfilling relationships, happiness, and a meaningful and rewarding role in work and society. This path can be called the 'true way of life”.

This path is not easily founded.  It requires the same amount of lessons that are taught in school.  Schools successfully teach students knowledge necessary for a successful career.  But even with a six-figure income, a person's life can be for naught if they fail to have lasting relationships and have healthy families.

The youth today have high hopes to have love and happiness in their marriage and their families.  But they are left feeling incapable of living in the harmony they once dreamed.

Then pessimism sets in about have a good family relationship, and many youth expect to follow the pattern of “Marry. Divorce.  Marry again.”

Thus, as a result, the modern lifestyle has left the natural human longing for community in shambles.

Neighbors rarely look after the other and are often cold and distant.  Neighbors tell one another that just want to live in peace and rarely take the steps to foster a genuine community of mutual help.

Instead, when problems arise, citizens blame one another or the politicians.

When there are problems with the children at school, the parents blame the teachers and the teachers blame the parents.

Can a community really live in peace where there are a knowing of others who are suffeing?  These concerns of conscience are drowned by the thought that the less fortunate are not as meritorious, hard-working or deserving.  This smug self assurance incline others to not help the less fortunate.






On the national level, partisanship divides national policy; racism abounds, corruption festers, and issues seem unsolvable.






Nations act in their own self-interest instead of the interests of the world community.

Even generous gifts or aid from other countries come with strings attached.

Quarrels between nation spiral into a revenge-retaliation-revenge whirlwind with each side claiming that they are evening the score of past conflict.

Humankind lives in disharmony with their environment.  They often take more than is given back ruining delicate ecosystems and sacrificing God's long-term blessings for short-term profits.

Humanity is unable to share with the natural systems that sustains us.

Is there a solution to the worlds problems, or is humanity doomed to wait for the actual end to the world?

Can humanity as a whole live a true way of life that has positive results on every level?

Answers have been sought through philosophy and religion, yet the answers generated there have often created more confusion and conflict.

Also, political and educational programs flounder in half truths and superficial solutions which fail to touch the core of humanity's problems.

In seeking an objective truth, science has tried to dispel the ignorance that pervades human life.  All of these efforts have helped the enormously, still goals of curing diseases, improving communication the root of the problems have not been effectively addressed.

Men, women and children have yet felt satisfied a yearning – a hunger – they experience.  Something missing.

Writer John Steinbeck described it: “You are warm enough, but you shiver. You are fed, yet hunger gnaws you. You have been loved, but your yearning wanders in new fields.”

King Solomon wrote how he built majestic palaces and gardens and had a satiable appetite for learning and other accomplishments only to feel that the big void howling inside his soul was yet unfilled.  In the end, he wrote, “this too is meaningless, a chasing after the wind.” Ecclesiastes 2.11

Also, Buddha did not find any gratification as a young prince and left the pleasures of the palace in order to pursue enlightenment.

Satisfaction and fulfillment is always out of reach, just over the horizon, coming tomorrow, or next year or the next.

People think they will finally be satisfied when they hit the lottery or when they make more money or when a person finally loves them.

Yet, they find that when they finally get these things, happiness still eludes them just as mercury slips away from pursuing fingertips.

The Qur’an affirms, “The life of this world is but the comfort of illusion” (3.185).

St. Augustine said that the human heart will always be restless for God until it finds a resting place within Him.

One modern preacher said, “There's a God-sized hole inside of us.  No matter how many steaks, electronics, liquor, drugs, entertainment and sex we pour down it, only God can fill this hole.”

To many people God is an abstraction. 

To many, God seems like a god of punishment with many rules and demands to follow.

Worse still, is many people of faith have done horrible things in the name of God.  There is a lot of terrorist violence, the Inquisition, and the Crusades were all violence falsely done under the use of God's name.

Loyalties to denomination and religions set believers apart rather than bringing them together.  Religion has even been seen as a tool of capitalist or colonialist imperialism and exploitation.

When one witnesses all these caveats about religion, how can we say that God is the answer to the universal human longing of having world peace?

The apostle John said, “God is love” (1 John 4.8).   What people actually long for is inside and behind God.  They want the essence of God, which is thoroughly love.  People want to feel and know pure, selfless love.  They want that love to pervade all of their relationships and their world.

Such a love of God is the true key to filling filled and fulfilled.

Paleontologist Teilhard de Chardin said, “Love alone is capable of uniting living beings in such a way as to complete and fulfill them,   Love alone takes them and joins them by what is deepest within themselves.

When people have hope in something, wish for something, buy something dream about attaining something, they truly wanting to further their experience of love.

In every relationship, in every action and transaction, all day, every day, people are seeking true love. 

This universal need is found in all people at all times under different circumstances and situations.

Mother Teresa stated that people throughout the world may look different or believe in different religions, hold separate positions and have a different education, but they are all same..they all hunger for love.

She said, “The people you see in the streets of Calcutta are hungry in body, but the people in London or New York also have a hunger which must be satisfied. Every person needs to be loved.”

True love is so ultimately valued that it encompasses and informs all other values. 

People are drawn to love like bees are drawn to nectar.

Love is the wellspring of value and the standard of all value.  It is so ambrosial, satisfying and fulfilling that once have a taste of it, they will not let it go.

If a bee sucks the nectar from a flower, you can try to pull him away, but the bee will not let go, his body will half.  He still will never stop sucking the nectar.  Selfless love is that delicious.

Where Should We Go?

The whole universe opens up before those who follow their original mind.

There must be some action to bring this about.  When they can enter such a state, they will be able to speak with their mind and hold a conversation with their mind.

The answer will already be right in front of them when they think of doing something.  They are advancing toward such a state.  Such people should do definitely laid down before them.  All the forces in the universe would help them follow it.  Though such people are tested, everything will aid them.  Only then will they be able to do great things in life.

Those whose lives are under girded by great power are true people. 

People who are led in the direction they wish to take are true people who have a strong ancestral background of infinite power that propels them forward.

They would know in a second if the direction was wrong.

This movement is not a worthless church.  It has a deep and high background.

Once you are raised to such a level through your own efforts, then everything wll be taken care of from there forward.  You need to decide on the direction you should take.  this is something you alone must determine.  It is something that you would know best.

Would money solve all problems?  No. It would not.  There are times when you need money and other times when you will have to follow another path.

Hence, you need to decide your own path.

You need to seek the intrinsic qualities you were born with originally.  You should decide the future purpose that you will pursue.

Though God may point you in the right direction, it is up to you to follow it of your own accord.  God is not a dictator.

A magnet's influence is stronger than the gravitational pull of the earth.

What makes such an influence even possible?

The actual pull of the magnets is weaker than that of the gravitational force of the earth, but the two forces come together where the former surpasses the latter.

The same is true of our conscience.

This same principle is the same with our conscience.  Fromm the moment we are born, you already know the background against which you were born.

If you are unable to discern or pass judgement on such things, you will never be able to do great things.

We might look at nature and say we only prefer spring and don't like winter and fall and hate summer."  But if you were to ask God which season does he like, he will answer, "I love all four season."

Therefore, like our Father, we should learn to love summer, autumn an dwinter.  Even though you may have hated most of them at the start.

When winter snow comes, God look upon the world which is covered in a fleece of white and He drives pleasure from it.  Therefore, you should say, "Oh, I love it, too!"

That is the way it should be?

You should looka t nature with a mind similar to God's.

This should be your mindset.  When we witness streaks of lightning, we may say that we hate that.  "Oh, no.  That might come near us." But when God experiences them, he thinks, "Haha, they are kissing and making love!"

He scolds those who say they do not like lightning.  You should love people and you should love all five skin colors of equality.

Does God only like white people?  This is contradictory to God's characteristics.  When you enter their rooms, you will see all kinds of colors.

You will see pianos there.  They would have only blackboards.  They would only have white or black keys on the piano.

Nights are dark, so such people should not have them.  Why is everything centered on the white race?

White supremacy is the road to ruin.

How many more years or centuries do you think this reign will last?

Though the winter is long, it only last three months.

For the sake of eternity, you must love all the four seasons.  As such, you should not only love white people.

God's love encompasses all of His creation and humankind, not to mention people of the past, present, and future.  God heads a movement that liberates even those spirits in hell.  They must walk the path of truth, life and love.

No matter how great you are, we all must live for the sake of others.  If they do not, no one will follow them.  Those who do will naturally become leaders.  They become people of true life.  You yourselves should know which way you must go.  Once you have set a direction, you should invest all your energy into following it.

You should invest everything to such an extent that you would be too exhausted to even open your eyes or be sensitive to sounds around you.

If you have led a proper religious life in the Unification Church, you already know what you should do. 

On the other hand are the people who live life centered only on their own life and act for just their own interest.  They will not have any idea about such future inspirations.

When a storm comes, the rats aboard a ship sense it, and know that the ship is about to be destroyed.  Therefore, before it lifts anchor, they abandoned the ship by way of the ropes that lead to the harbor.

If common rats can sense danger, humans who are at the very top of the pack should surely sense it as well, too.

Ants know when a rainy season is about to set in.

They should know where they have to go.

I once witnessed a colony of ants moving to another place in single file; that showed they knew the onset of the rainy season. It is because you are given to daydreaming that you do not know. 



When you are unable to clearly know about or see your own field of mission, it is a serious problem.  You need to come to an understanding with God in regard to the serious problem in your life.

You also must be able to adapt to the environment on your own accord.  Who else can do it for you?    You are the only ones who can do it.  When you are able to have that self-assurance and confidence in a task you are ready to tackle, there is a place deep in your heart where the mind can rest and be at ease.  You are the only ones who can do it.

Your mind should settle in that place.  Once the mind has slept off some of the weariness, then it will become sensitive again.  When you can focus your mind without a trace of another thought in your head, you will be able to find out everything.  This is why you need meditation and pray.

Even I pray and offer devotions. You need to offer devotions always. They are not something you can offer just once and then put aside for some other time. You need to whet a knife all the time. If you used it and did not sharpen it, what would happen? In order to keep it sharp, you always need to whet it.


In the same manner of the sharpened knife, once you lose your temper, you need to sharpen your sense again.

You need to calm yourself and set your mind at ease.

When you reach the center of the realm of heart, you will find it in motion up and down. 

You are in motion automatically.

This realm inhales and exhales.  Did you know that even the earth breathes?  It inhales and exhales.  It regulates itself.  In this manner, the core of the realm of heart also moves up and down centering on its axis. It is in motion.

All beings have something that is elliptical about them.

Thus hen you enter the center of the mind or heart, you will feel a force that is eternally reverberating in it.  Hence, you need to cultivate your spiritual senses.  You need to devote yourself to experience the deep spirit world from all the aspects of life on earth.

You need to tap into the driving force that will be the fuel to push you throughout your lifetime.

Even I give serious thought to my work if it is so great that it requires a power greater than my innate power. When it is necessary to acquire a force greater than my own, where I can get that power from remains the problem. If I fail to acquire such a power, there is no choice but to retreat, but that is not an option. 


This is why we should pray and why we need God in those situations, who is the greatest power of all.

This is why we need the world of heart.

In this world of love, you will not experience any limits.  No matter how much you pull out from it.  the world of substance has an end point.  So does the world of knowledge.  The world of power can be destroyed in one second, but the world of heart is endless.  Hence, you need to act based on the world of heart.

Contrary to the non-religious, secular belief, God is not a dictator.  He invested one hundred percent of Himself for human beings.  he exists for their sake.  Hence, people have tried to follow His standard for tens of thousands of years.  In order to maintain a position in front of the universe, which follows the heavenly way of existing for the sake of others, you also need to think you exist to benefit others.

When you live for the sake of other, East and West, past and present can be connected.  There is a center and balance.

Plant Our True Heart in the Original Homeland

If we ask what is our main goal while walking this course of faith toward bringing the world back to God's original homeland, what would that be?

What is the main goal of all of us fighting this spiritual battle for God and humanity?


What are all people of faith looking for?  


It can't just be to have their own goal to reach heaven.  To find a place just where only we and our family can settle.

It should be broader than that.

The true goal of people of faith has been to fight to find the true family, which is opposite of the current trend of disunity and divorces within families.

An individual cannot come to rest within a broken family.

Moreover, without the larger unit of a tribe, then the family does not have a place to settle all the way up to the national and world level.

The highest level most of us can work toward is the family level.  But without the tribe which creates a stage upon which to act as a fence to block any offensive substances, the family can fall apart with the first blow. For this to be so, you must become the head of the family among your relatives. Once you are head of the family, then your relatives will fight in times of battle. Only then can you take a rest while commanding them. That is why I have told you to take up the mission as representatives of the messiah to your tribe.  Until now, in reality, you have lived away from home. Now, you must go look for your hometown. You must break into tears and put your whole heart into your hometown. Just as the Israelites lived in Egypt for four hundred years as slaves, this movement has done the same within the first forty years.  Now, we must return to our hometown and let love take root. You must love God, your parents, and your brothers and sisters. You must disconnect the source by which the worldwide Satan can falsely accuse you. Even after God worked to build a foundation through the Israelites, they failed to establish the ideal heavenly kingdom in the blessed land of Canaan because they could not remove that source. Therefore, do not expect anything from the satanic world. You must go forward, progressing by digesting the villages and marching proudly with an outcry of love. With this in mind, I want you to fight onward. I can give you the right of inheritance and the right of having the same position as I have because you have the name of being true children before True Parents. You must trust this privilege given by God and invest everything within the realm of love. With your total investment, your family will resurrect from the chains of satanic dominion.  The nation will resurrect with the revival of the family. In the hometown where your parents have been buried, you can plant new seeds that all the fields and mountains praise the value of all those who sacrificed and bow their heads to them. When flowers bloom from seeds, you must designate the first flower as God's flower, the second as the Parents' flower, the third as your eldest son's flower and the fourth and fifth as your own flowers. Can you you live this righteous life casually? Of course not! At this time, you are in the same position as the Israelites who have gone into the blessed land of Canaan. Do not be envious of those who are rich when you return to your hometown. Do not envy people with power and authority!  Do not be spoiled.  You must educate the people correctly. The tradition of loving God, loving your future generations and loving your race in the position of Israel is the best. Those who embrace your children and bring them to church should not be absorbed by the secular way of life. With joy of returning back to your hometown, you should soak the land with your blood, sweat of hard work and tears along with the cries of your cells and bones. The land should receive the title of divine land, which has been dampened with God's blood and tears. This is where the heavenly kingdom will unfold. You must restore your homeland and restore them.  The Israelites could not accomplish that. Having returned from being a group of beggars for forty years, the Israelites were envious of the seven tribes of Canaan who ate and lived very well while they lived in tents.  In this situation, they ended up selling off God and the nation to end their suffering and pitiful situations. To love people, you start with the pitiable person first, love the most pitiable child and move up to the middle-aged people. There are many conscientious people among the secular people.  We should love those who live in the most poorest living conditions. Even though they are in the devil's world, people who can inherit God's fate will emerge from their ranks. What should you do upon returning to your hometown? You must inspire the people to unite into one with you.  This method is rather simple. Your son should become a teacher who teaches the heavenly tradition and show by example what actions will bring about the heavenly nation. The mother and the father should show other mothers and fathers in the neighborhood what ways the heavenly nation will come. This is what we must do.  It is simple: You must form a family of love in which the husband loves the wife and the wife loves the husband.  The parents love the children and the children love the parents, and you hand it all down. I have walked such a path in order to stand in the position of the global ancestor. You should be aware of the fact that you must go on the path to inherit the tradition that corresponds to you, the tradition for you to become the tribal ancestor. You must set a tradition on which your tribe and family will follow.  Those who think only of themselves will not be included. You must plant your true heart in your homeland.  The Fall was the inability to lay a foundation of heart. You must be the head family of your tribe. God is the Abel of the universe.  The world's people are in the position of Cain before God. Since God has led the providence of restoration through servants of servants, adopted children and true children, we must then inherit that tradition and go to our tribe and present this tradition we have built as a foundation for the true way of life and work to win hearts in the secular world. This will not take long - three years at most. Our Task for This Time Period What does every person hope for? They want to welcome the returning Lord and his bride before establishing the global nation. This will begin from your new sons and daughters who are born connected to the true blood lineage of the Messiah's lineage. Therefore, the True Parents are the starting point of the new future. Let us testify about True Parents  How does everything end? The coming of the True Parents is the hope of all humankind throughout history because it is the conclusion of the evil sovereignty on earth. This time has never before existed and will not exist again. If we think in terms of the eternal world, our life on earth lasts only as long as the time it takes to draw in one breath.  What kind of people are the True Parents? They are the symbol of hope, the symbol of absolute hope for the fallen, suffering humankind.  They are the fruit of history, the center of time and nations of the world. True Parents are the starting point of the future that can connect to the ideal world we all hope for. Let us take into consideration the name of True Parents.  They are the starting point of a new world. We started the world based on the false parents Adam and Eve who did not follow God's law.  True Parents come to the earth to reverse the mistake of the first parents. Through them, the internal relationship is formed by which Satan can subjugate and God can be liberated from Satan who possess the external world. Therefore, you should be grateful first and foremost for living at this time in the presence of this amazing grace of being able to live together with the True Parents and live according to their direction. Everyone has the hope to meet True Parents, who are the ones for you to meet even when you walk the road of death. When you meet the Parents, you will restore your ancestor's fallen history, the age and the future which has been lost. This is the meaning of True Parents. When you are able to completely be one with the True Parents, the true nation, tribe, race, and family will come into being. True Parents are the manifestation of value that equal to the glory found in heaven and earth.  Would you exchange the True Parent for money? Would you exchange them for life? That is why it is different from before. No matter where you go, you must find your way to Korea to attend the True Parents. It is the same for your sons and daughters and descendants of thousands and tens of thousands of years. Therefore, this movement is different and unique. Q. What really are the true parents we speak about? Truly think for a moment. If the first ancestors of humankind had followed God's command and were never kicked out of the Garden of Eden what kind of people would Adam and Eve be? They would not have fallen, they would have been linked directly to God's true love, true blood lineage and way of life. Adam and Eve would have become perfected and would have been God's body.  That means they would have become the body of God.  God is like the bones and Adam and Eve are the flesh. God also has a mind and a body. God would have been the internal parents and Adam and Eve would have been the external parents. Based on the unity of God and humankind's love, the true parent, the perfected person was to emerge. There is no perfect person without the cooperation in love. Let us attend True Parents' picture in every family You become a family of the heavenly kingdom just by putting up True Parents' picture and the flag of the Unification Church. I mean that I will make you the family of the heavenly kingdom. That is why there are a number of people who suffered disasters, such as being struck by lightning after grumbling about having to put up flags. There was an incident in which someone broke his finger pointing at me and had to repent and pray for several nights to recover. Why do these incidents occur? The power of an individual cannot block the advancing heavenly fortune.  In the Unification Church, those of you bowing in honor to the True Parents photograph or the flag will live during these Last Days. In the Old Testament, everyone who gazed upon the staff which Moses held were saved. By putting up the UC flag, it signals to members who pass by that it is okay to enter your house, and rest if they are tired or have lunch. If they are hungry before they continue on their journey. You should always be prepared to receive guests.  You should make such preparations on behalf of True Parents. Since you cannot attend the True Parents daily in person, you should attend their picture. You should attend your guests as if they were True Parents.  This practicing connects equalization to the highest heavenly standard. This is why you should attend your guests as if they were God or True Parents. Such a person will surely receive blessings. I am very famous. Everyone acknowledges that I am a patriot living for the sake of the nation. Moreover, the whole world has honored my achievements. So if people come to say, "Since we have put True Parents' picture up, my wife and I cannot quarrel in front of it," and tell their children, "You should not do such things in front of Rev. Moon," what is wrong with that? Because you are revering it more than the photograph of your own parents, your ancestors will come and also revere True Parents as their ancestors. It will become an altar where ancestors can come and hold a service for the household. The way to receive heavenly blessing has been opened up due to this kind of attendance. Then, even after you have fallen asleep at three o'clock in the morning, your ancestors will chase out all of the evil spirits from around the home. Moses led the Israelites away from the Pharaoh of Egypt. At that time all of the firstborn of the Egyptians were smitten, while the Israelites avoided this calamity by smearing the blood of a lamb on the their doorposts. Thus, the spirit world is watching over you and will protect you. Then Moses guided them to Canaan by enacting great works and miracles. When the Israelites were about to leave the land of Egypt, they were able to avoid calamity of the smiting of the first born through smearing the blood of the lamb on doorposts. In the same way, carrying a picture with True Parents, will protect you.  Spirit world can recognize the picture even if it is in your pocket. Now my fame has gone beyond national borders. I have heard that many statesmen in various places have put my picture on the wall of their study and pay their respects to it. You probably have experienced that there is a mysterious side to my smile, like that of the Mona Lisa. I believe that most of you probably are experiencing hundreds of thousands of ways of viewing my mysterious features. At certain times, I appear to look like this and other times like that. This is because at different times the spirit world is cooperating with you in different ways. I think most of you experience this. Those in the spirit world all know me. So when they see this picture, would those in the spirit world like it or dislike it? Your ancestors can be connected with the picture as the medium. I want you to know that's how good it is. Let's do revival services for our tribes There should be a family revival service in the future based on your family.   Those services represent the entire tribe.  You should think that such a revival service represents not just the Korean tribe, but tribe members of Blessed Families here around the world.  You do not know what a blessing it is to hold a revival service representing the world centering on the tribal foundation, with Korea as its base.  Everything depends on how much you think for the sake of others and on your own efforts.

The Homeland the True God Desires

Have you ever thought that God has a dream just as we have been given one?  If we are made in God's image and likeness, then He should too have dreams for a better future for creation and humanity, correct?

When we look through the events of history from God's point of view, we see God's handiwork through His people to restore the world through their works.

Jesus came to establish God's homeland.

Prophets and patriots of history worked hard as well in order to build this same dream of a Godly homeland.

Each generation tag teams in order to see a better world come.  In order for us to establish heaven on earth, a perfect man like Jesus must appear and complete Jesus' mission of bringing heaven on earth, not just in spirit world.

This man must be recognized by heaven and earth beginning with establishing a heavenly family through having children and establish a tribe, a people and a true nation.

He must reverse the fallen relationship of the brothers Cain and Abel and engraft them to His pure lineage.  Then, build the true homeland where God has dominion in the world and evil must flee.

Prophets, saints and patriots of history all had the same desire to see a world exempt of evil - an Utopian or heaven on earth.

However, they were not able to build this heaven on earth where individuals, families, nations and world could be connected as true brothers and sisters centered on God.

Therefore, we must abandon the path along which humankind is headed in the wrong direction and go in God's direction.


Q. What if Adam and Eve had followed God's direction and did not fall?

Adam would have become the true leader of his tribe.

He would have been the leader of his people.  In addition, he would have been the representative of the nation.

Adam would have become the first true king.

Thus the world would have automatically have been united without a trace of conflict or wars.

They would have operated under one philosophy set by Adam.

Any other trivial and worthless philosophies and doctrines would have been cast aside.

Unfortunately, this did not happen.

We currently live where myriads of doctrines have brought about great confusion to the world.  This problem must be exposed at the root and eliminated.

Humanity's process of thought should have been based on the unfallen, perfect Adam.

Our language would have been Adam's language, our cultural would have been set based on Adam's culture, our tradition should have been Adam's tradition, our lifestyle would have been Adam's way of living and our political systems would have been Adam's systems.

Everything should have come under the system of thought of Adam's nation. 

The philosophy behind a true Adam is called Godism.

Everyone must become one with God, centering on His heart. It was suppose to be the only philosophy humankind would have lived by.

Everyone has a longing to live in the heavenly kingdom in heaven and on earth.

Do you think there are boundaries within heaven with heavy walls and sections?  Do they have many different languages?  No.

What does the heavenly kingdom look like?

Since all people were born in the bosom of God, then God sees us as His sons and daughters, brothers and sisters in the family of God.

From heaven's perspective, we are one people, all citizens of the Kingdom of Heaven on earth.

Our goal is to build a unified world and one nation under God. 

Our goal is to build a nation with one sovereignty, one people, one land, and one culture that is connected to God's lineage through the True Parents who appeared and reversed the first parents' fallen mistake.

In that nation, everyone is determined to inherit God's realm of heart and fulfill the biblical idea of 'love your enemy."

The world God created cannot have national boundaries or problems between races. 

People believe that evil and darkness is eternal and is a necessary part of humanity and the creation.

Even teaching that evil is necessary and was created by our good God to balance out and be the opposite to goodness.

Even though evil was created and is in the world, does not mean it was intended or created at the beginning of creation.

If we followed God's command at the beginning, there would be no need for the struggle between good and evil.

We grew up in a world where borders divide the nation and there are problems between people of different races.

There are even barriers between husband and wife, parents and children and between siblings.

There is a struggle between good people and evil people.

How can we continue to believe that this is part of a creation that God would create for His own children?

What father would create anything bad for their children?  If God is the beginning and end, wouldn't He only create a beautiful environment that would ripen for His own people?

Evil was created when His first children delved into a part of creation before it was ripened. If you have ever tried to eat an unripened fruit such as an apple or banana, you understand how undesirable it is or inedible it is for human consumption.

This is the understanding of the symbolic 'fruit' in the garden of Eden.  We know it to be the sexual organ - the fruit of God's children where the seeds of children are planted.

The returning Lord's task is to transcend racial problems and create one nation without borders, unite the divided families and bring the kingdom of peace to this world where good and evil are fighting.


Q. Where is the original land, original homeland of our unfallen ancestors?

Will it be logical that this homeland will be established based on the standard of one specific nation?

What is the homeland which God and humankind have been searching for, the answer is.... the whole of planet Earth.


Q. How can we create this Godly homeland?

Earth is the homeland which we have longed.  Our ancestors and past generations walked the path of sacrifice, so what was it they desired and begged from Heaven the most to achieve?

This was their cry: "Please quickly bring the era of the Godly Homeland without a trace of evil!"

To establish a nation of God, we establish on earth the peaceful Kingdom of Heaven that places good as the standard above all else.

This eliminates evil and judges its ringleader Satan, who has been the enemy of Heaven.

Please understand that this is has been the desire of our ancestors who have contributed enormously to the course of the providence as well as Jesus and God.

Don't you desire to have a nation where God is ruler, a heaven on earth, or have you settled for this Kingdom of Hell perpetrated from the beginning by Lucifer?

There must be a country that is able to encompass a family a tribe and a people.

Six thousand years of history and God has followed countless nations, longing and seeking this one country where He could establish the heavenly nation on this earth.

He also has been searching for His loyal subjects and virtuous men and women to build such a nation.  We must reorganize families, people, and nations with God as humanity's center.

Our responsibility as people of faith is to bring about this day of liberation, the restoration of our homeland.

The mission of religious people in every religion has been the creation of this homeland.

Yet, ironically, often the selfish desires within people of faith to achieve their own personal salvation has prevented them from uniting on this purpose from across the spectrum of the different religions.

We have set the standard on the individual level, a people and a nation, so now we mobilize and seek the day of freedom, equality and happiness for all God's people.

We seek the day of the restoration of our God-given homeland as well.

Inevitably we must go this way, but, through difficulty.

This is my perspective and the standard that God is seeking. It was this standard that Jesus was trying to establish up until the time of his death.


When we move forward in the process of restoring our homeland, we will suffer and sacrifice in the process.

We will stand on the frontline, the time will come when everyone will say it cannot be done without our working in faith for the goal.

We must work hard for three years to set that standard.  We have to establish this heavenly tradition through shedding blood, sweat, and tears until all people inherit everything from us.

We have to clearly understand that there are still conditions of indemnity to be offered.

God isn't sitting in glory on His throne, He is a miserable God, a lonely God and an unspeakably sad God.  What father could idly watch his children suffer as he ate a king's meal?

God's joy begins when His children become soldiers on the front line, who have the conviction to fight and restore our homeland even if we are bleeding and fall down from the loss of blood.  Even if we have to lose all worldly possessions in the process.

When the ranks of these brave soldiers who fight to restore our homeland and unite the world increase, then God's true joy will begin.

Do you know about God's providence to the present time?

The first goal is to have the foundation on which we can bring about the restoration of God's homeland in heaven's nation and liberate God's Kingdom on earth.

This must be accomplished even if you have to sacrifice your time spent with your family.  Even if you end up as a refugee, a gypsy, this must be done.

We have to set up a country that is under the dominion of God. 

When we look at how communist countries force unity and loyalty to the government - think of this being given freely by the people centered on God?

We are at the time where those of genuine authority and dedication to God work alongside the Messiah and offer their financial foundation necessary for the restoration of our homeland on earth.

This foundation will bring about the nation that will bring world unity.



I should not help you either as a group or as individuals with the money from my own wallet. We have to follow the will of Heaven. Korea must be responsible for Korea; Japan must be responsible for Japan, and America for America. Providentially, these three countries are one. They are the countries of the parents and the eldest son.



We must create an impetus for one unified language.

We Must Find Our Homeland

We long for the nation of God, because it is the place of love.

God's nation is a place where, instead of temporary, corrupted love, we have an eternal love transcendent of time to continually exist.

It is also a place where you can elevate yourself and become 100 percent of your value.

God's nation is where you are eternally happy.

This is why all people are yearning for the heavenly nation.

You should go to the spirit world only after bringing giid results under the realm of God's dominion on earth.

This is the original standard of creation.

Instead, not only do we fear death, but we go after planting many bad seeds and enter into an ungodly realm for eternity.  This is far from God's original plan.  He did not create hell, our ways created it.

If you are unable to restore a heavenly nation on earth during your lifetime, when you go to spirit world, you do not have the value to belong to a heavenly nation in spirit world.

What is bound on earth is bound in heaven.

Our faith's goal is to become citizens of God's country. 

A person without a country, a homeland is always attacked.

Such a person stands in a miserable position.  He may often feel hopeless after suffering an affront.


Q. So, where can we find the country God desires?  

Which nation can become God's foothold?

God's eternal Kingdom on earth will be established based on our bloody sweat we shed for these people and country.

Such a country will create the blessed land that can be praised by our descendants in the thousands of years and generations to come.

God's country is composed of His direct blood descendants who receive Heaven's command and in His place will govern under God's kingship.  This was God's original Homeland before the fall.

There would be neither communism nor democracy in such an ideal country.  Once established, that nation will remain forever.

When we imagine such a nation, we should feel mortified that we are unable to be a citizen of such a heavenly country at the present moment.

We should lament that we have not become such a heavenly person, living in such a nation.

We must grieve over the fact that we do not have such an unchanging sovereignty.

During this process of building sovereignties, nations and territories, the human race has established sovereign nations.  We must remember and honor the fact that during this process millions died, many were sacrificed, many nations fell and sovereignties changed hands.

All these people who sacrificed, died, shed blood, and sad people did so to see a heavenly nation and world on earth.  They want to see such a nation come.

In this era, God sent His beloved true son and true daughter to the earth to establish one, absolute nation.

Until the present time, He could not prepare the foundation after Jesus' death to restore one nation.  This attempt has failed every time.

Thus God has worked throughout history to send His people to earth to manage, advance and accomplish this work.

It is sad to be a citizen of a country with no sovereignty. 

Jesus was concerned about this point.

He told others not to worry about where their food, drink, or clothes would come from.

He said that these small matters are what the ungodly worry about.

"Your Father in heaven knows that you need all these things. Instead, above everything else, be concerned with His Kingdom and with what He requires, and He will provide you with all these other things."

Jesus said to save your nation first.

The nation that God is seeking.  Jesus waits in paradise, not heaven.  Paradise is the waiting room to go to heaven. You enter heaven only with your family, not as an individual.

Jesus was unable to stand before God on the basis of establishing a national sovereignty that had the power to communicate directly between heaven and earth.

You cannot go to heaven alone.  Heaven is designed as the place where if Adam and Eve had not fallen, their sons and daughters would have gone to live together eternally as a family in heaven.

Why has it been so difficult until now for religious people to preserve their lives and had to sacrifice?

It was because they did not have a heavenly nation as a protective foundation.  There was no family, society, or nation that would help religious people.

If they had only found a nation with a sovereign, heavenly leader that would stand up and shout "Hey, you good for nothing, this is the right way!" then the people would respond, "Yes sir".

However kings and leaders who were centered completely on the heavenly law did not come forth.

There has been no heavenly leader or nation.

That is why these problems have occurred.

Religious people who hold the standard of the heavenly kingdom could not establish a nation and go beyond their own individual selves and problems.

Without a nation, no matter how good or happy your family is, evil people can destroy it. 

This is why we need to create or find a nation on which to stand.

Religious people have not been able to understand this.

We must find a nation of goodness.  This is the purpose of religion.

If you do not have a country that can uphold the standard of God, then there is no basis upon which to register.

We have to have a new registration after becoming one people centered on God's standard.

We need to establish heaven's nation on earth. 

Then, as victorious sons and daughters who are the citizens of that country, we must live together and care for our families and clans.

We become people who love that country and its people, and who receive the lineage of the Messiah.  This is how we enter heaven in spirit world.

This is the way of the Principle.

We need such a nation in order for the blood, sweat and tears we shed and our tradition to be bequeathed for the first time to our descendants for thousands of generations to come.

Thus, when it is established, a monument that will celebrate Heaven's efforts and glory will be erected on this ground.

If we are unable to establish such a nation, then all our efforts to restore the world will be in vain.

Because this nation has not been fully established, then the Christian world and all civilizations will be sent down the river and burned up.

Aren't you seeing such a trend among the religious foundations that have been established for thousands of years?  How effective have they been toward a world of peace?

This is how they have succumbed to Satan's game.  You must understand that the issue here is to establish a heavenly nation.

We will not find such a homeland in an existing nation which already has established its traditions and cultures centered on the fallen, material ways.

The nation which we seek is fundamentally a different dimension.

In order to qualify to inherit such a nation, we have to embrace an ideology that enables us to take on the subject role.

The underlying thought that will govern such a place has to be perfectly aligned with the absolute thought of the Creator.

God desires a nation whose citizens desire to unite under its sovereignty.  

Each citizen must have these characteristics and embody the form and shape of that nation to be a citizen.

To form a nation, there needs to be a territory, a people and a sovereignty.

Q. What is a sovereignty? 

It is the creation of a relationship with the original God.

The leadership of the nation must connect with God and then conduct the work of governing the nation.

When America could follow God's law it flourished above other countries in its infancy.

The sovereign leader must completely unite with the citizens of the nation.  There is no dictatorship in this nation.

By becoming one with the people, the sovereign leader can no longer think of anything as being for his own sake alone.

He must instead see everything as being for the sake of the nation.

Once this standard of leader is achieved, that nation will prosper and flourish.

To form a heavenly nation, you need a people, a territory: in place of the sovereignty is the parents, in place of the people are the sons and daughter, in place of the territory is the nation.

It is absolute principle that all these elements have to be present.

To establish a nation, there must be a sovereignty.

All people are included in this nation.

Q. Therefore, who will be the owner of heaven and the sovereign ruler when this heavenly nation on earth is established?

Without a doubt, God is the sovereign ruler.

Where will this territory be?  Will it be in heaven?

It will be built on planet earth.

All of your activities should be for the sake of seeking such a nation.

You should focus on being its founding loyal patriots, and restore our homeland.  Your mindset should be to shoulder such a mission.

You should think that you are part of the secret envoys of Heaven who receive such instructions to come to this evil world to fulfill this mission of building a heavenly nation.

If you do not do this, you will not be able to establish your prestige or dignity as a citizen of the nation we have been seeking.

Even though Satan sees that he is losing ground everyday on earth, do you think that he will just give up and turn around and automatically bow his head toward God's people who have passionately fought for God?

He has been playing havoc with God for thousands of years, he is not going to retreat easily.

He will doggedly fight to the end.

This is why we must not be distracted in these last days and stay focused on the central point.


If I, Rev. Moon of the Unification Church, stray from the center, I will be broken. If you do not set the right direction, there can be no development.


We must go out with barefeet if necessary to create the homeland.

Your left over resources are not enough to save this nation.

You do not save this nation by focusing on what food you are going to eat, what clothes to wear and what car to drive.

Therefore, we determine to pioneer with our bare hands and feet.  That is the type of work our church is doing.

Your Conscience is Second God

This following speech was given at the World Media Conference in 1990 in the city of Moscow, the capital of the former Soviet Union:


"I feel there is no place more appropriate to gather for these discussions than right here in the Soviet Union.

We developed two excellent organizations which are also committed to the quest for world peace.  For me to come to Moscow is an emotional experience. I would like to express my appreciation to the Soviet government, especially the officials of Novosti Press Agency.

You have welcomed us to your great capital in a most hospitable manner. My wife and I, and our entire family, are moved by your kindness.

I am sure that all of the guests in this room who have come from every corner of the world, including former heads of state and government, will join with me in expressing our deep gratitude to our hosts in this country. Would you join with me in giving them a round of applause?"

True Unification and One World 

Father Moon was asked by Soviet media what his views was on the importance of spiritual renaissance as the foundation to social, economic and political progress.  He elaborated on these views:

Such a spiritual renaissance is vitally important.

In order to achieve such a goal, there needs to be a deeper understanding of the human situation.

Therefore, there needs to be some reflection on philosophical and religious topics.  It may not concern the media, but it is the fundamental understanding necessary to secure true peace in the world.

Furthermore, it is the essence of the Reverend's lifelong search, discovery and teaching God's original ideal for the world which is opposite of the world we live in now.

When we observe the universe, we see that every being exists through the pair system or union of elements.  This is true on every level beginning even with the mineral realm.  

Molecules are made from the union of a positive ion and a negative ion.  On the level of plants, existence and reproduction require the union of stamen and pistil.  Even though this is at a different level, it represents male and female aspects.

This pair system is more obvious beginning on the levels of animals.

Fish, birds, mammals and all animals exist as male and female.  Finally, the supreme creations of God, human beings, are either men or women.

The first man Adam and the first woman Eve, were the original ancestors of mankind.

Why was the pair system created?  Why did God create in this way?

The Creator made all of creation as male or female so they might unite through their action of give and take in love.

Through this action, each species multiplies and extends its lineage through their union.  Human ambition is limitless and eternal. 

What is man's infinite desire and goal?

For woman it is man; for man it is woman.  Both man and woman can find true love only through interaction of each other.  In history, the differing views of life, the universe and God have presented unresolved problems.

These problems are to be found when true man and true woman unite centered on God in true love, creating absolute oneness.  This is the source of absolute value.  

Man exists for the sake of woman. Woman exists for the sake of man. 

Man and woman each are the object of love of the other.

Because God is a being of absolute love, He wanted to create objects of love which He can pour out His love. 

In doing this, He naturally looks forward to His love returning from men and women.

In this way, God would feel infinite joy.

To become perfect objects of love for God, we must be united in love first.

We have to go through a growth period and maturity of our spirit just as we have to mature our physical body, before we can stand as a mature human couple that resembles God, receive and return His love.  Have we seen such a mature couple throughout society?

The pattern of true love is not that of being served; it is to serve others. 

When God initially created His object of love, He invested every ounce of His energy - 100 percent of His being.

Based on this standard God had during creation, thus, this established the pattern of true love.  This tradition of true love as total investment was established by God.

This is where true love became the center of the universe and even almighty God chooses to be obedient to it.

Once God spent all of Himself, He made Himself a vacuum.  

In the atmosphere, when there is a low pressure area, the high pressure air is automatically attracted.

On the same token, when someone serves another to the absolute degree, energy rushes in to fill that person up.All the love that God has given to create the perfect objects must be returned to Him by men and women.

Only love transcends all barriers. 

When you unite with God in true love, you have dominion over all of God's creation both physical and spiritual.

When you can live completely for others, you are reaching the very essence of God's own being who invested Himself for others.

God's vibrations become your vibrations once you obtain unity with Him.

Then God's feelings are naturally transmitting to you.  Through living this way, you become a resonant body of God's heart and love.  As much as two tuning forks resonating together, you and God always resonate together.

This unity describes the original state of human beings.

Once you achieve that state, the love of God becomes your love, God's life becomes your life, and the blood lineage of God becomes your blood lineage.

This world which God created then becomes your world.  We were meant to share the love of God with all things in heaven and earth.

We are to be citizens of the Kingdom of Heaven with the heart of parents.

Man's separation from God

The law of cause and effects is clearly evident in history.

Whatever you sow, you will eventually reap.

Adam and Eve sowed a seed of sexual immorality and the abuse of love while they are still growing.

This was the Fall of man.

God wanted humanity to grow in purity until He blessed them in heavenly matrimony, thus becoming the foundation of God's true love, true life, and true blood lineage.

Humanity would naturally have become true son and daughters of God living in the kingdom of Heaven on earth and in spirit world, once the first human ancestors reached perfection and were blessed in marriage directly by God.

However, while Adam and Eve were teenagers, the archangel tempted Eve away from God.  He engaged in spiritual fornication with her.

In this way, Lucifer became Satan, God's enemy of His love.  Eve had then passed on this fallen blood lineage to Adam through engaging in physical sex.

This is how our history as humans was sown.  

Today, we reaped  consequences: immorality is rampant.  Teenagers in particular are the victims of widespread sexual degradation.  Modern society in the advanced nations is different from Sodom and Gomorrah in the biblical times.

God abhors this immoral behavior.

We must fear the wrath of God and live according to His will.  The punishment is imminent.  The struggle of God and the evil god is the center of goodness.

Satan is the center of evil.  

The history of humanity has been that of struggle between good and evil between God, and Satan through working through men and women.

The history of humanity is a constant struggle between good or bad.

Satan, being arrogant and greedy, always attacks the side of goodness. 

God's camp is always hit and suffer, but God is able to have the opportunity to bring justice.

For example, World war II had the Axis powers after initially attacking. Every exploiting power will ultimately decline, while those who suffer under persecution for the sake of good will ultimately be raised up by God.

The side of good is vindicated and occupies new territory.  Then Satan's side must withdraw and decline.

My own life is representative of this. I have been struggling for the sake of good and the cause of God, but the opposition has been relentless. Years ago, I was tortured and beaten, and I have been imprisoned numerous times. One would think that my movement would die out and be forgotten, but the opposite has occurred. I have built a worldwide foundation, and have continuously advanced and prospered.

Conscience: Teacher and Parent

Every human being has experienced at least one most precious teacher.

That teacher has been beaten upon, mistreated.  That teacher is the human conscience.  Your conscience always speaks out for your own benefit trying to connect you to true love.

Like a parent, your conscience urges you to be a good, unselfish individual, and guides you to do the will of God.

But within each person there is also a rebel who always goes against the conscience. That rebel is the physical body.

The leader of such a thought is Satan.

The body has trampled and abused the conscience miserably. When one becomes aware of this, can he take the side of the body which has been the enemy of his own conscience, which has greatly damaged his own life and true personality?

Your conscience should be your constant internal teacher and parent. 

It will lead you to complete unity with the ultimate parent of mankind, God.

The conscience, then, is the agent of God within you, and may even be called a "second God."

Do you think you should be sympathetic and protective of your body, the enemy of the conscience? Or do you think you should control and confine your body and vindicate your conscience?

Your body only goes after carnal desire.

When it is hungry, it steals and satisfies itself. It always seeks for comfort, and wants to take advantage of others.

The body or flesh has its own realm. To conquer the realm of the body is an awesome responsibility which every person must undertake.

When this is achieved, the mind as the vertical self and the body as the horizontal self are completely harmonized into oneness.  Thus a person reaches perfection, united in love with God for eternity.

The Role of Religion

God is the source of true love, true life, and true blood lineage.

Since we human beings originate from this source, we must also have true love, true life and true blood lineage.

However, because of the fall of man, tragically, man never achieved the position of being the child of God.

Instead, men and women have received love, life and lineage from Satan.

Due to the fall of man, love today is basically self-centered. That self-centered love does not originate from the mind, but is centered upon the body.

The body is where Satan's main activities are conducted. 

The body is Satan's dancing place, the mooring post of Satan.

The mind represents God's position the plus position. But the body, which should assume the object or minus position, tries to make itself another plus, and continuously teases or fools the mind.

In human life, it is crucial to correct this fallen relationship between mind and body.

Therefore, God established religion to rehabilitate fallen man. Through religion, God is teaching people how to strengthen their God- centered mind, and reverse the body's domination of their life and personality.

That is why religion oftentimes demands fasting, sacrificial service and a meek and humble attitude. These are methods for reducing the power of the body and causing the body to submit to the more godly mind.

Normally, in religious life, it takes about 3 to 5 years to change from the habit of a body-centered life, and create a new spirit-centered way of life.

Furthermore, the Bible says, you must pray without ceasing.

This is vitally important because Satan controls the environment of the fallen world. Satan tempts and distracts fallen man from all directions 24 hours a day, while God is only able to work from one direction, the vertical direction of the mind.

The Restoration of God's Ideal

In the eyes of God, the fallen world we embrace is the world of spiritual death.

His will is the restoration of that world of death into the world of life.

Restoration is another way of saying salvation. When the original ideal state has been lost, it must be restored. When a healthy man becomes sick, a physician must come and bring him back to his original health. By the same token, the God-intended original ideal was lost.

Therefore, the work of God is to restore this fallen world to the original sinless state.

In order to accomplish that task, God sends the Messiah. But before the Messiah comes, God prepares a certain chosen group of people to be ready for the Messiah. This is what the Bible calls the orchard of wild olive trees.

The orchard of wild olive trees represents a certain sphere in the fallen realm which God can still direct and control. After this has been prepared, the Messiah comes.

The Messiah then cuts all the wild olive trees in the orchard of God, and grafts into them the true branch of life. In this way, the wild olive trees all become true olive trees. They are returned to the original state of man.

The religious people of today are these wild olive trees in God's orchard, but even the most devout religious person must still seek the Messiah because he has not yet received the true lineage of God.

The Messiah comes as the True Parents of mankind, restoring the position of fallen parents Adam and Eve.

Therefore, in order to be connected to the true lineage of God, each person must unite with the True Parents in these Last Days, and become a recipient of true love. By doing so, each person can become a true son or daughter of God. In this way, the Messiah brings salvation to humankind.

The Messiah, in the position of True Parents, must root out the trees which have grown from false seeds, subjugate Satan and connect mankind into oneness with God in true love, making all people true sons and daughters of God.

In this way, the Kingdom of Heaven on earth can be created, where men and women will finally be able to enjoy true freedom.

What is the way of unification? Let us consider the first human family.

First of all, there is God. Second, there is Adam and Eve. Adam is masculine, and Eve is feminine. They compete with one another to secure the love of God first.

If they are selfishly motivated, there will be no unity. However, if they are unselfishly motivated, Adam will say, "I want to reach God first solely for you, Eve." The woman will be overjoyed. She, in turn, will say, "I only want to reach God for your sake, Adam." Then the husband will be fully satisfied. There is no struggle; there is unity even in their competition.

This is not only the way husband and wife can be happily united; it is more than that. It is the very key to the unification of all people.

God-Centered World View

Throughout history, God has been working through the human conscience. In spite of God's efforts, however, every attempt made thus far to restore man into the original starting point -- the heart of God -- has failed.

It still remains for someone to liberate humankind from this satanic environment and lead a successful search for truth and true love. That is the mission of the Unification movement.

Godism is a God-centered world view, whose essence is the ideal of true love. Godism has two distinct missions: Bring unity between God and man, and bring unity between mind and body.

Since I have discovered the solution to these two fundamental problems the unity of mind and body, and the unity of man and God -- I must proclaim this truth as clearly and effectively as possible without any hesitation.  When you follow this teaching, I assure you that you can definitely conquer the carnal desires of your body. You can become 100 percent united with your mind. Then you are eligible to become the true object of God and establish a true love partnership with God.

Whenever two people are bound together by true love, they are entitled to three important rights: First, the right of inheritance. Second, the right of dwelling together. Third, the right of participation.

Take for example the relationship of husband and wife. The husband might be the president of a great nation, while his wife might be a woman of very humble origin and very little education. If they truly love each other, however, they are equals. They own all things in common, live together, and participate on an equal level.

In the same way, when man and woman are connected to God through true love, they will also enjoy the rights of inheritance, participation and living together eternally with God. When you reach this depth of heart, you will constantly experience the presence of God, and God will truly dwell among men.

True Parents

True love always travels the shortest distance at the greatest speed. Therefore, true love coming from God to the earth travels the shortest distance -- a vertical line.

The love between man and woman also travels the shortest distance, forming a horizontal line. When the vertical true love meets with the horizontal true love, the crossing point must absolutely be 90 degrees. There is no other way these love lines can intersect.

Who is God? God is the vertical True Parents centered on true love. He is intimately close to each of us because He is our vertical parents.

When we welcome the perfected human ancestors -- perfected Adam and Eve -- as True Parents, we create a 90 degree crossing point between the vertical true love of God and the horizontal true love of True Parents. We have two sets of True Parents. From them we receive true love, true life and true blood lineage. This creates one world totally resonating with true love.

The Soviet Union

Ladies and gentlemen, I am very grateful to have the opportunity to share with you these reflections on the nature of God and humanity. I am also very happy to be here in the Soviet Union. My heart truly goes out to the people of the Soviet Union. Many of you have gone through unbearable suffering, and that saddens me.

I love your country and your people very much. I clearly envision a moral and economic renaissance for the Soviet Union that will dramatically affect the entire world. I will do all I can to encourage and support that renaissance.

You are undertaking a new Soviet revolution, but this should be a revolution without blood or bullets -- a revolution of the heart and soul.

I have been speaking about the importance of the family. But I want to tell you that in the depths of my heart, I feel that the Soviet people are a part of my family. I assure you that my wife and children feel the same.

Also, I assure you that members of the Unification movement worldwide will do their utmost to work together with you for the future prosperity and well being of all humanity.

Father believed the former Soviet Union played a key role in returning God's ideal into a world of lasting true peace This vast union of nation he return to roost.

We must regard ourselves as being members of one global family living in one global house.
