Grandparents have value

We speak a lot about how the world will be better for the generations to come due to the past sacrifices of many saints and people of faith but what about those who do not get to enjoy the best things life has to offer?

Today in America, we see the trend where the young can enjoy a life in paradise, but not so for the elderly.

It is a great place for young men and women, but not for children or grandfathers and grandmothers.

Everyone else is digging pits of hell that will lead to ruin.  This is happening because the American system does not fit into the original form.

American families require that the grandfather has to call before they can drop by their own children's or grand children's home.  Does such a way of living sound close to the Kingdom of Heaven?

How about a loving daughter-in-law that tries to buy her gray-haired grandparents something that is better than what she buys her husband?  Such a beautiful heart is a lovely sight to see.

When they are able to have even more joy then the joy the daughter-in-law feels, before long the grandparents will giver her everything that hey have kept hidden, even things to do with their love.

The Grandfather is in the Position of God in the Family

Who is the oldest grandfather in the world?  It is God.

You learn the love of the Grandfather of all from your own grandfather.

When you learn such a tradition, you will be able to receive the treasure of love from all the secret storage rooms of the oldest Grandfather, God.

That will be a wonderful time!

As a grandfather and grandmother represent God, they are the most experienced in the world.  They don't sleep long because they are old.

You should think, "My grandfather is God who protects my family without getting any sleep."

If you have such an attentive grandfather or grandmother within your family, your house will not catch fire or ever be robbed.

If your grandparents are not sleeping, then they are praying in those hours.

Your grandparents pray at night for God to bless their sons and daughters.

While they pray, they will guide you saying, hey, so and so, it is dangerous to go out today, please listen to me.  They will let you know, do not go out today!

Do not fight what is thought to be instinct, but are good ancestors!  Son, do not go anywhere, Daughter and daughter-in-law do not go far from home today, there is danger ahead." Don't grandchildren need such grandparents?

Have you ever witnessed such phenomenon?

When the grandmother and grandfather love each other, they will dance, the mother and father will dance, and the brothers and sisters will dance together.

Those who live using this as their model are protected by the universe.

If someone was to try to kill such a person, the universe would do everything to prevent such a crime.

Even parents need to get permission from the grandfather before sending their grandson anywhere.  They simply do not just make decisions on their own even though they are now adults.

This is because the grandfather stands in the position of God.

The Relationship Between Grandparents and Grandchildren

There are a lot of complaints in this day and age of how children are not being taught manners and the big debate whether parents should spank their children or not.

If a grandchild was to demand things in front of his mother and father and his brothers and sisters this is obviously an impolite manner.

The grandparents are over eighty years old, and then this little brat is going to audaciously stand firm in front of his father and mother and elder brothers and sisters who have superiority before him demanding answers about his grandpa and grandma.

Would anyone scold the child who demands where are his grandparents?

Why not?  If someone did the same thing in another situation, you would scold him or her saying, "How can you treat Grandpa like this?"  But if the child stands firm and asks again, you would be pleased.

He asks in such a way because he misses his grandfather.  So, it is a good thing not a bad thing to miss him.  All of heaven and earth misses him.  He misses everyone, too.

A child will understand from experience that his father would become tired after 10 minutes of sitting in his laps, but his grandfather or an elderly person would stay still even after an hour or two.  Of all the family members, his grandfather will embrace him the most.

It is not a bad thing to be embraced and touched by his grandfather who says, "Your nose is like this. Your ears are like that." He is patted, caressed and touched all over, but he does not mind. How great that would be! 

This is awesome!

This is the same as a tree becoming one with the root.  Then, if man is the root and the main sprout comes to like each other, what will happen?

All the other roots and branches attach to the main ones and will not be able to avoid liking one another.  You should think about this.

When the main root and main sprout like each other, that relationship can embrace everything.


Q. So, who is the main root in the family?

The grandfather always has his eyes on his eldest grandson. The main root of the family would be the grandson - the first grandson.

Even though we have as a culture in America lost value in the elderly or even our own grandparents, we must remember that they represent the past.

There is also a connection of how families have secluded themselves away from the tradition of revering grandparents to the fall of the family.

Without this main root or past for which to connect our lineage, all falls away.

The Family is a Training Center

Everyone is a  part of a family unit.  The parents may have divorced, the sisters and brothers may live in separate houses, but the family still exists.

When we stand in the world of space, in order to stay balanced, you need top and bottom, left and right and front and back.

When we deal with relationships concerning top and bottom, left and right, and front and back, also problems in the family, nation and world, there is only one solution.

Just as there has to be these six positions with the individual in the center, there also have to be parents and children, husband and wife, and brothers and sisters.  This also applies to the nation.

The leader is at the center of the nation.  All families should embrace the civilization of east and west, and the civilization of north and south, and all the people of the world as brothers and sister.  Eventually, establishing a family model.

This model is the same for all.  You are the center of that model.  This model represents a principle that requires that from you sprouts your family and expands into the nation world, heaven and earth all the way to God.

The Family is the Central Model for All Beings

You not only want to be the center of the universe, but you want to be the center.

In the same way, the family is the center of the universe.  If you were to think of heaven as the parents, then earth represents the children.

In relation to east and west, east symbolizes the man and the west the woman.  So, after marriage, the woman goes to the place where her husband is.

This is similar to the west reflecting the sunlight that shines from the east.

This is the same for the brother and sister relationship.  When the eldest brother leads a task, the younger brothers and sisters will cooperate.

Each person should, therefore, be in a parent-child relationship, a conjugal relationship and a sibling relationship.  Do you see how this rounds out. These three relationships should meet at some point.

Also, you can see that in these Last Days that all of these relationships have been broken up. This is directly the root cause of all of the world's problems which expands from relationships within the family all the way to the worldwide level.

The central point is one.  The center for the top and bottom, left and right, front and back should be the same.

If the centers are different, then the relationships will all be imbalanced.

So the common central point of top and bottom, left and right, front and back must add up to the number seven.

When this happens, then the family is united in true love with God at the center.  This is where all things form a complete sphere bringing about harmony and unification.

We often think of the number seven as the luckiest number.  Therefore, when we hear this about the number seven it seems believable.  As long as true love never changes, then the central core will turn forever without changing, therefore, realizing the idea of a true family.

Also, since everything is connected to this core, then each of the position are equal.  For example, if the grandfather and his sons and daughters want something and the grandchild is not against it, then all the three generations will come to want it.

The grandfather, grandmother, husband and wife, and sons and daughters will all follow the center.  The parent-child relationship becomes one in terms of love.    The conjugal relationship is one and the sibling relationship becomes one.

They become one body.  So, what do these relationships revolve around?

They revolve around the true love of God who is the center of true love.  In this way, the value of everything becomes equal.

The Family is the Textbook of Love through Which We Can Connect with Universal Love

What is the universe?

God created everything in the universe as a sort of a training aid to help His beloved sons and daughters find the ideal of His true love.

This is why you see a reciprocal relationship in all of existence.

For instance, minerals are based on the reciprocal relationship of subject and object partners.  Protons and electrons exist based on a relationship of subject and object partners.

What is the universe?

We see this in human relationships of teacher and student, husband and wife, and parent and child where there is also interactions between a subject and object partner.

The universe is simply the expansion of a true family.  If you take a close look at the family that has been able to become an ideal of family love, you see that it has a top, middle and bottom.  That is the parents, husband and wife, and children.  You will see left and right and front and back.

This is the principle.

When we talk about top and bottom, this refers to the parents and children.  When we talk about left and right, we mean the husband and wife.  The front and back refers to the brothers and sisters.

How are all of these positions able to become one?

There is no way for it to become eternally one through power, knowledge or money.  If a family was to be united through force, smarts or money, then once these things disappear, the family will separate.  So, what would determine eternal unity of a family?

It is only through love that a family will truly unite.  This is the absolute truth.

If this does not happen, then the sphere cannot be formed.  The top, middle and bottom of the family is the textbook of love.

This is the textbook through which we can experience universal love.

We then go into society and put it into practice.  So, how should we love?

Jesus taught about the kind of love for your neighbor as you love yourself.  What should we do to follow this kind of teaching?  Do we see even Christians living this way in this time and age?

Do Christians unite with brothers and sisters of other faiths?

When you go into the world and see an elderly man who is the same age as your grandfather, treat him the same way you would your own grandfather.  Treat people like your own mothers, fathers and your own sons.

When you are able to go out into the world and live in this way and love people in this way, God will dwell in the midst of that love.

You should know that the world is an exhibition of all people.

  

The people of top, middle bottom, front and back, and left and right are all displayed in the exhibition of all of the world.

What does the Kingdom of Heaven look like?

It is the place where you love the people of the world the way you love your own family. It is where people who do this are the citizens of the Kingdom of Heaven.

Your grandfather and grandmother, your mother and father, your wife, brothers and sisters and your own children are four generations.  What do they represent?

They are the textbook where you can deeply experience love, the true love of the universe as people of Heaven. In other words, the family is the foundation, a type of textbook that

We cannot live without learning the love of the universe. 

Your grandfather and grandmother were sent as representatives of all the grandmothers and grandfathers in the spirit world.

God has prepared textbooks and scriptures containing promises which openly say, "Love your grandmother and grandfather."

"Therefore if you love them, I will take it as if you had loved all grandmothers and grandfathers."

Next God would say that since your mother and father are representatives of all the countless mothers and fathers of the world, if you love them to the utmost it will be the exact same as having loved all mothers and fathers because they are the textbook and model of love.

It would be the equivalent of graduating college after many lessons on how to love mothers and fathers.

Furthermore, if you as a man, who represents all men, love a woman who represents all women, then it will be a condition of having loved all women.

Then God would say, "I will take your loving your sons and daughters as you having loved all sons and daughters."

This is how the family becomes the training center to receive such training on loving the world.

This training process which God developed is in accordance with the scriptures.  If the trainees are willing to go out into the world and love the grandmothers and grandfathers of the world in place of their own grandparents, this will save the world and bring a world of peace.

If all the people of the world were raised in such true families, where brothers and sisters, mothers and fathers, grandparents and grandchildren each treated each other with respect and true love, when this expands to the world level, then Heaven on Earth is recreated automatically.  Therefore, there will not be true peace in the world until there is peace in the family.

A Training Ground of Love for Entering the Kingdom of Love

This is God's will: to realize the kingdom of love.

Then if God wishes to develop a globalized ideal world of love, then the family is the experimental ground where you earn your credits at such a school.  This is obtained all the way from the elementary level to the bachelor's degree and PhD.

If you were to examine the world carefully, you will see that it is a world where grandfathers and grandmothers live.  It is a world where adults like your aunts and uncles live.

It is a place where your elder brothers and sisters live.  It is a world where youth live and where children live.

So, this place where the middle-aged, elderly, young people and children live are just a larger expansion of the family.  Isn't this so?

The family is the smallest unit within the training center.

It is also a textbook for how to enter the Kingdom of Heaven automatically.

It has four levels: grandfather's level, mother's level, couple's level and siblings level.

Then each of these levels expands into a larger group of grandmothers and grandfather's, mothers and fathers, your own peers, and your own sons and daughters.  Together, they form humanity.

Only families that can love all of humanity as their own spouse and parents, and serve them as their own sons and daughter can inherit the Kingdom of Heaven.  This is amazing.

This is where the right to inherit all of the power and authority of heaven and earth lies.

You receive the right to be registered at the Palace of Peace and the Kingdom of Heaven once you pass to the spirit world.

As discussed, the family is the training ground for the true way to love all of humanity.  

The extension of the family is the world.

The world is made up of smaller worlds: grandfathers' world, grandmothers' world, a world of fathers and mothers, there are husbands' and wives' worlds and sons' and daughters' worlds.

When all of these combine, they make up the whole world.  Therefore, if you are able to love all of the people of the world as your own family, this will lead you toward a straight path to the Kingdom of Heaven.

Thus, the first commandment is to love the Lord your God with all of your heart and soul and with all of your mind.

The second commandment, "Love your neighbor as yourself".  With these two practiced together of loving God and humanity, then everything will be accomplished.  A world of love will follow a people that live in such a way.

No matter how much spiritual training you obtain, if you are unable to love in this way, your training is in vain.  If you do not know how to love God, humankind or the whole universe, you will fail the test.

You should deeply experience love by going through this family training center which is an encapsulation of the whole universe.  Then this expands to loving the world.

When we see the clear-cut point of God's way to train humanity how to love and look at the current situation of the world of broken homes, we see where true restoration should begin.

You have inherited this tradition from your family, which is your training ground, where your mother and father raised you.

If you are able to love your parents more than your wife, love your sons and daughters more than your wife, love humanity more than your wife, and love God more than  your wife, then everything will be accomplished.

Of course, this does not mean to abandon your wife, because loving in this way, each recipient of that love will come to love your wife as well.

Could there be a more glorious place than this?

Your Parents Are Your False Parents

No matter how old some people get, they still carry the wounds of the occurrences that happened to them at home where they grew up.

Whether it was because their parents were not there for them, they suffered mental abuse that disabled their minds for life or they were physically abused or watched their parents' evil behavior, the wounds stay fresh all the way into adulthood.

What wrongs a parent does to a child, the damage can be difficult for the survival of a healthy mind to flourish in that environment.

Many abandon God, were not raised with morals, or follow the wrong path that was set forth by their parents.

How can God allow children to grow up in such a way?  There is a reason.

If we look back to the beginning of human history, at the very first parents who carried the life and spirit of God within them, then take a look at their family, there the mystery of the why the world is the way it is today can be answered.

Humanity severing their ties with God in the beginning is the cause of all human suffering.

True Parents is a term that has appeared for the first time.

For God's will to be realized, a world of peace, true parents must come, and reverse the mistakes of fallen parents.

You find True Parents from a position of having thought about it.  This term has never appeared in history and is appearing for the first time.

A revolution does not compare with this fact.  The time that the True Parents live on the earth is a miraculous and great event, unprecedented in history.

The fact that you know the words True Parents and say the word 'true' means they have appeared with the love that surpasses the love of all the billions of parents who have come and passed away until now.

True Parents have been long awaited since the first parents of humankind who had spirit (Bible states that God breathed life into Adam).  Yet, had turned away from God in the Garden of Eden.

True Parents' love cannot come into existence more than once.  They have returned in the Last Days, the Completed Testament Age, and reversed the mistake of the fallen first parents.

They have the name 'true' because they have such a standard.

Their love relationship has the highest standard.

Satan knew that once the price was paid in the course of history through countless people of faith and saints shedding blood, sweat and tears to bring True Parents to the earth, he would be completely defeated.

Satan throughout history has been trying to prevent that time from coming.

Jesus was sent to not just be a true example of a brother and Son, but a True Parent along with his True Family that carried the unfallen blood lineage of God.

Lucifer as the false parent (since Adam and Eve believed in his word instead of God), has tried to prevent this through sacrificing countless people making them pay a price of blood by any means.

Satan has tried to uphold this philosophy through sacrificing believers who tried to uphold this philosophy and follow the path as individuals, family, nation and world.

We should truly recognize how terrible the price in blood was paid by our ancestors who were sacrificed.  Countless brothers and sister who sought only goodness, who dreamed of a world of peace and pursued the way of truth and the path to the True Parents.

The appearance of True Parents is the greatest news in human history.

Where do you have to go to find an Utopian world?  You must go through the realm of family love.  Without reaching that level, you have no place else to go.

The way was opened from which to go back and forth between spirit and the physical world over a bridge of love.  The Principle explains that these two are distinct realms as God created them.  How can we make them one?

This is only possible through true love.  The only way they become one is when humans reach spiritual maturity.  Then, when they embrace, saying, "Oh, you are my partner," true love appears at the center of that couple.

When positively charged love appears in perfection, negatively charged love is bound to appear immediately. When positively charged love comes down to negatively charged love and they engage, they determine the standard of true love. Then it is complete.

When true love appears, everything follows automatically. 

True love is the only element that works for everything.

This is how this world will be converted into an Utopian sphere.

So, where does true love start?

It starts from True Parents.

This is the gospel of all the gospels. Although there are good words and phrases in the world, and husband and wife are good words, there is no news better than the arrival of the True Parents.

A true husband and wife will not appear in the fallen world without True Parents appearing first spreading their message of truth.

They will not just appear in history.  The True Family is the result of experiencing the deepest sorrow of all sorrows, enduring the hardest of all hardships and paying the highest blood and sacrifice of all such payments through the course of history.

This is such a miserable indemnity condition that had to be made in history.  This price was made through people's death throughout the course of history and will be redeemed when the True Family is established.

When they appear on earth, this should be a cause for unparalleled joy and value.  For a true family to come about, there have to be True Parents.

A true husband and wife must emerge at the same time as True Parents.  They become a true couple and must give birth to true children.  These True Parents should have no condition that permits Satan to accuse them or their family.

The Bible states to be careful with your every action because Satan is waiting at the door for you to invite him in.

They should not make a base for Satan to accuse them of behaving in a manner unlike God.  The children born in a true family cannot be the sons and daughters of a true family if they leave behind a condition to be accused by the satanic world.

Nobody in history had thought of the title as True Parents, but you are using the words today.  You are in the glorious position to know their name, attend them and their teachings.  You are in a happier and nobler position than anyone who ever lived in history.

Those who sought True Parents, cried and hoped for their coming offered a tremendous amount of sacrifice and work to lay the foundation for their Victory.

When you consider the history, then you should know that the words portend the greatest blessing for humankind today.

Saints and good people of the world for thousands of years, hoped for the arrival of the parents who could lead us toward a world of peace beginning on the individual level.

History is being brought under control through the True Parents.  They are the starting point of our advancement toward a new world.

Who in history has been able to bring a solution to all of humanity's problems and reverse the cause at its roots?

They lay the conditions that we can use to subjugate Satan.  The central couple can liberate God from His anguish by conquering Satan, who is occupying the external world under the mask of True God.

You should be thankful of the amazing grace to be living together with the True Parents.

Therefore, you should be thankful for this grace while you receive and carry out their instructions.  If there is a way you can align yourself to their path, there should be nothing that makes you happier.

If a soldier marches toward an enemy camp based on True Parents' command, then they are a holy soldier standing on the highest summit of hope desired by humankind.  This will draw history's attention.

If you fight on behalf of the Parents' heart or on behalf of the nation and people, this heart will enable the nation and people to open the gate of the garden of happiness for the first time.

If you are in the position to fight on behalf of True Parents' heart or on behalf of the nation and people, this heart will enable the nation and people to open the gate of the garden of happiness for the first time. 

You are the flag bearers who can revive the violent, sorrowful history and judge the world of death again.

The nation and people of hope who can march in and join in the glory of victory will appear.

The future Secured Through True Parents

The title of True Parent we use is a great one.  The Principle's content is very deep.  It gives meaning and confidence to the future.

We should unite.

You should not become one with you at the center.  Nor should you become one with your family at the center by pulling in True Parents.

You should be pulled by True Parents.

You should not be pulled just by yourself, but take your parents, husband or wife together with you.  Moreover, you should take your children and even your material possessions.  You should become one in this way.

The value of True Parents

There has been many positions in history.  But this is the most valuable one, the position of True Parents.  Parents without any condition for Satan to attack.

It could be likened to a world where fathers were like Jesus and mother's were like Mary giving birth to sinless children.

It is the central point where God's ideal world is realized.

All the saints have fought for that foundation.  God and all the spirits in spirit world consider it important.  So, should we also understand its importance.

The point before the fall, heaven on earth cannot be exchanged even for thousands of pieces of land.  It cannot be exchanged for a diamond as wide as a stretch of land.  You would not be able to buy it even if you offered the United States to God as a sacrificial offering.

How miserable humanity has been for not being able to see it.  God, spirits and all people must be focused on this.  To look at history from this point of view, there has not be any true history that connects with this.

True Parents, is the place before the Fall, before the birth of sin.

There can be no fall in history after it has been restored.

We should be happy that a new beginning starts from this point.

From here, the center of everything, the substance of everything and the result of everything will begin from here.  Those who participate in this will be the first winners on earth.

We start forming a family that is fully centered on God's love.

We can defeat the sovereignty of Satan and build a new, heavenly kingdom on earth.  Moreover, the fruits of history will emerge from this point.  The accumulation of sacrifices and shedding of blood for God's sake will finally be harvested.

It is the start point of the future; the center point of the entire world.

The culmination of the past history will occur, the fulfillment of present history will be preserved and the completion of the future world of peace will begin.

If you take in this point, this place, you will be the conqueror of everything.

How great is the value after knowing this?

This place has to be the highest place in history.  You will love, praise and respect it and come to like it.

All the great people who ever existed in history cannot compare with this.  When you see it, you will surely be deeply moved by joy.

Every time you think of such an original place as this this position, you will have the feeling of dancing in a dream while you were asleep.

You will be able to dance even during your sleep.  Your heart should be drawn to this pure place more than any other places, your life or anything else.  You should want to see it, touch it and feel that you cannot live without it.

Adam turned reality into a non-reality by saying, "Yes" to something that God said "No" to.

For this reason, without acknowledging a current non-reality(world peace) as a reality again, it will not be possible to regain the original standard.

If one physically resolve all problems on their road to become True Parents they brighten heaven and earth, and resolves the complex issues of history and remove the nail embedded in God's heart.  

When true love is liberated, results in rejoicing, dancing, and laughing while embracing and loving these sons and daughters.

Great shouts of victory will rise up from every being.  They experience tremendous joy throughout all of creation and heaven and earth.

Within the ideal of creation, there is a heart that cannot be expressed in words.  We each should realize this heart on the road to perfecting himself and bring the devil to surrender.

Adam should be the sovereign of liberation.  True Adam is the ruler of all nations, the master of salvation, and the one who can be the first son among all brothers and sisters.

We should be grateful

What is the best way to offer our gratitude to God and True Parents?  To our church? How do we show gratitude for being created?

After the process I have been through, a true family will appear. At the next stage, a true tribe will appear, and at the next stage, a true nation, then a true world, a true universe, and a true cosmos; at the next stage up, God appears. 

This is our final goal.

Humankind for countless of generations received Satan's blood lineage after the fall.  This is the problem.  Instead of receiving God's lineage, humankind received Satan's blood lineage filled with sin.

How can we eliminate this satanic lineage?

How do we eliminate the dirty lineage Adam and Eve inherited from the Fall?

True Parents come to our age with true love, true life and God's true blood lineage in order to eliminate the Fall through using those in Satan's lineage, they have been raising up.

In this new age, the body will mature based on God's love, life and lineage.  It will use true love as fertilizer.  One side will disappear and the other prospers.  At that point, God is present and Satan is separated away forever.  This is a time for rejoicing.

No one knows the pain that is in God's heart.

Through the True Parent revelation, we have come to know the sorrow of God's heart due to His being separate from His children.  Otherwise, we would not know it.

This is truly amazing affirmation that even Jesus did not know.  Even if he did know it, he was not able to relay exactly what was in his heart due to the disciples not able to understand his most basic teachings.

There also has never been any religious leader who could understand this hidden secret of the universe.

I have come here before the world to reveal the secrets of the universe for the first time in history. From now on, we should turn our direction from the individual foundation to the national foundation. 

If the leader of a nation repents of his past wrongdoings, God forgives him.

This is part of God's new tradition and signals a new lineage.  Otherwise, there is no way we can separate from Satan.

This also signifies the changing from the sinful lineage humanity inherited to a new lineage directly connected to God that takes place in the Unification Church through the Marriage Blessing Ceremony given by True Parents.

For the first time, humanity can have a true marriage tying their family to God's blood lineage.

Humanity had connected to a dirty blood lineage and things in the satanic world because of the Fall.  Now we can be connected to God's true love, life and lineage horizontally.

This is a complete 180 degree conversion.

The hope we seek is not in America or this world because they are connected to the satanic side.

All the people of the world have followed the most wickedest of parents on the satanic side since the beginning.

Now for the first time, that direction has been completely turned around. 

We are at zero point.

Now we are in the place where there is no meaning, no concept, no tradition and no culture.  This is re-creation.

When God first created man by combining soil, water and air, humans did not have any fixed concepts.  It was zero point.

Today, we are turned completely around from the satanic tradition and are becoming completely reborn.

This means to be born again in the truest sense, not just spiritually, but physically.

The first to accomplish getting rid of the satanic bloodline are the parents on the individual level, not the nation first.  Brothers and sisters are next.  Husband and wife are third and the children are fourth.

God wants three generations, but has never had them before this time.

The first generation is God, the second generation is Adam and Eve, yet God never had the third generation before this time.  Humankind has not multiplied under God, but has belonged to Satan who is an enemy of love.

How can we eliminate this fallen lineage?

To recognize the new world of peace which the world is headed, you must recognize that you are not born American or Japanese, but as one of God's people.

We are the Fruit of God's Love

God and human beings are related as parent and child, but how did this relationship come to be?

Where did the parent-child relationship between God and human beings begin?  If you were to meditate and ask what is the center of the universe, the answer would be the parent-child relationship.

If you ask God, "What is the center of heaven and earth? What is the root of the universe?" God would answer that it is the relationship between the father, his sons and daughters, the parent-child relationship.

This is more important than any other relationship.

One who doesn't understand the depth of this answer will think this refers to the relationship between a physical father and mother and their children.  We are speaking about the basic relationship with God.

God created human beings because being alone brings no stimulation. 

Joy comes through a relationship.

Even when God is alone, He cannot receive the stimulation of joy without a partner.  Thus, the purpose behind creation.

When we are in the position of God's partner, we receive the highest love.  Then God's internal becomes substantial through His partner.

If God is sorrowful, humankind will inevitably be sorrowful.  This is why humanity's relationship with God cannot be severed.

This is the conclusion.

What is so special about the parent-child relationship?

It is the highest place where father and son can meet at the central point where their love, life and ideals connect.  Then, love, life and ideals are in one place.

There, God is love, and so are we.  God is life and so are we.  God's ideals are our ideals.  The first place where these qualities can be established is in the parent-child relationship.

When God gives us love, how much would He want to give?  God's love does not have a set limit.  He would want to give to humanity infinitely.  Even after giving everything, God will say, "Because of you, I want to live in you."

Which sentiment makes this possible?

It is love.  Even if God had to live as a servant, he would be happy, just as long as that life were lived inside of love.  

Love transcends law.

Throughout fallen history, God never abandoned humanity.  He has been continuously giving his love to us.  He has done so without complaining.  He still gives you everything without reserve.

Why do you not give back to God?

It is the same as a spoiled child.  How can we be like this?

God is made of absolute love. He is still frustrated due to humanity severing a true direct relationship with Him.  He is not able to give all of his love.

He is limited by our choices.

God cannot assert Himself into anyone's lives.  Since God's purpose in creating man was to give perfect love, then even though the human world prohibits Him from doing so until now, He will still pour out His love to us.

When we think that our Father has unconditionally been giving to us, the better we feel.

If God was the type of person that says, "I have given everything, so now you give back," then there would not be a need for that type of God.

God is the Father of human beings, and human beings are God's sons and daughters. 

Since we fell away from the standard of God and followed another, we are at best God's adopted children awaiting the full restoration of our sinful fallen lineage to God's pure lineage through the Messiah.

God invested the core of His bone marrow when He created humanity.

If we pull on God, God cannot help but follow.  God created for the purpose of love.  That is why God likes to see a man and woman love each other.

For this reason, God appears in the world as the essence of love.

A child is the fruit, the manifestation of the parents' love, an extension of their life.

Children are the embodiment of their parents' ideals.

Children are born based on their parents' love, life and ideals.  Therefore the more the parents see them, the more loveable they become.  The more they become the ideal people, the more vibrant life becomes.

Human beings are born through the relationship of love as God's absolute partners. This is where God becomes Father and we become His sons and daughters.  

If there was a position that was higher than that, then humans would desire to occupy that position.  If there is something that is better, because human desire seeks the best, then God would have to give it to us.

Since God has this highest form of love, He is surely the Father of humankind and human beings are His sons and daughters.

Clearly, God created us with value.

If God created us without Him knowing this, then He would be an incomplete God.  But God is the Absolute Being and thus He created us as His absolute partners. 

What kind of being is God, the Creator of heaven and earth? He is a being of utmost goodness, the root of all things, and the Lord of love. 

God wanted to give all the precious things in the whole universe to humankind.  If there is someone that God could believe in and entrust everything to, He would pass on the most precious things to him in their entirety.

Since God is our Father, He wouldn't have created us as mediocre or incompetent partners.  Who would even want a spouse that is like this?

He created us to stand in an equal position to Him.  The all-knowing, all-powerful God  created us to be the same level.

Therefore, our conscience seeks the best.

Since God is the Absolute Being, why did He need to create human beings?  He did not create them for the sake of money, knowledge or power.  He created man so He could feel love.

If the connection between God and human beings are made, then absolutely nothing can sever the relationship of loving oneness between God and humankind.

In the creation of human beings, He invested every bit of Himself to fashion us into the most precious ideal perfect form.

Many believe God to be a being that demands to be worshiped, but God's reason for creating human beings is out of love.

God created Adam and Eve only wanting to exist for their sake.

An ideal being does not live for his own sake; an ideal being lives for the sake of others.

An ideal being lives for the sake of its object partner.  This principle is the basic core of the universe.

No matter how all-knowing, all-powerful, and absolute God may be, God cannot be happy all alone.

The words "happiness" and "it's good" do not have meaning if you are alone.  You can say life is good when you have give and take between a partner in a relationship.  Is there anyone who can truly say that they are happy when he is alone?

No matter how all-knowing and almighty God may be, He is not happy when He is alone. 

Let's say a singer was stuck on an island by himself.

Would he be happy if he had no one to listen to his song?  He will only be joyful when that give and take exists with a partner.  Likewise, God needs an object partner in order to experience joy.

God, by completely investing Himself, created His object of love because He needed an object of love. You cannot love by yourself. 

God created human beings as such objects of love because He, also cannot love without such objects of love.

The Bible says that God created us through the Word, but He was not lax with His work.  He created them by investing Himself 120 percent through excruciating hardship and difficulty.

When established Church members think about God's creation of heaven and the earth they focus on His omniscience and power.  Thereby, they believe simply that He created everything by His words within six physical days instead of time periods.

The creation did not, however, come about through any type of magic.

He created us through investing His entire being with a sincere heart.

This is why we love Him.  Just as we fully love something for which we have invested our utmost efforts and blood and flesh in.

We place what we have invested in the object of our sincerest hope because it is the core of our entire being.

God does not tell us to give everything for His sake, rather than Him instructing us to cleave to Him, He invests Himself.

He placed the starting point of of the ideal of world peace upon the principle of existing for the sake of others.

This is why God invested Himself for our sake.  From this viewpoint, we understand that God exists for mankind's sake.

What does God mean when He says, "I am love"?  He is teaching us to cherish love by night and day, during any activities even while dancing and crying.  In this manner, He could say, "I have love in its entirety."

Having love in its entirety means that everything was invested into it.

The one who cherishes love the most is God.

God possesses all of that love, yet once we get a taste of it, we are unable to let go of it even in death.

As an omniscient, omnipresent being, there is nothing God wants to withhold for Himself.  He already has everything, He lacks nothing.

What He values most and takes pride in, it is love.

Apart from love, God does not need anything.

How will we be able to bring completion to the ideal world God had in mind?  Surprisingly, it does not start with God, but with human beings.

Human beings were destined to stand at the center of creation.  For this reason, unless humanity who are God's object can become perfect, there is no way for God to become fully perfect.

This is because humankind and God are one.

What element makes us unite with God and His will?

Is it any of God's qualities: His omnipotence, omnipresence, power?  No. 

Then what should it be?  God is alive and dwells in the spirit world, transcendent of time and space.

What is the center of God's life.  God lives with love as His central focal point.  

God's focus from the very beginning was love and throughout His present course.  He will do so for eternity, live for love.  This is because when he has a true object of His love, God feels joy.

God has a storehouse of love which keeps replenishing itself even after He gives and gives from it.

Even if we were to steal a lot of love from this storehouse and give it out day and night, God would not punish us.  He would say that it was okay and that it was good.

He would even encourage us to take as much as we wanted and keep doing it forever.  There is always love left no matter how much we take.  That is why He is God.

God will say, "That is why I am the Subject. As the Subject Partner must have more than He can give to the object partner, otherwise I would not be God.  That is what I am like!"

If you want to steal love from God and distribute it like a power plant of love, He will supply as much as you need.

When God runs out of love, you will want to get more so you can connect to His pipeline of love.  God will say, "If you want, go ahead!"  This is how great God's love is.

Pour Your Heart Out for Others

It is said that children are a blessing.  A child is a real gift given directly from God.  

This is more so than a wife receiving her husband, or a man his wife.  Father matches couples that don't seem to make sense, but he puts them together based on knowing what the children will be like.  This couple should be grateful for their pairing and see what kind of children they will have.

When the couple first sees a child from this kind of matching, they will know he is truly a gift from God.  They will love that child more than they love the husband or wife.  This will be okay, because the couple would be mutually grateful, because their mate enabled them to be the parent of such a child.  Through this foundation, the couple can admire each other.

Mothers should breast feed their children, if it it is just for a little time.  The more children she has, it may become more difficult to keep this standard, but the basic principle is still there.

Breast feeding is the best link for a mother and child to truly relate. 

The matchings are mostly made of international and interracial couples.

It would be the most beautiful sight for God to see a black mother loving and feeding her white child at her breast.  Would it be thinkable that the father and mother in this situation would have any racial discrimination?

This is God's culture.  There is no other culture more beautiful than this one.

Through learning the contents of the Divine Principle, upon which this blog is based, you come through the narrowest gate.  This means it is the most precious and rare blessing for you in your life.

If you were to truly inherit this philosophy and way of life, then wherever you go in the world, you would be welcomed, respected, and loved.

This is a course of seven years compared to the university's four years.

In seven years, you must consummate this role.  There must be nothing you cannot bear, even if you were treated as human trash.  This is where true kingship and queenship begins.

Which would be the better dramatic movie: everyday life, or a shocking courageous and victorious story?

Walking this narrow path is most difficult, would you be able to have such conviction to fill the goal for more than three days?  Time is just like an arrow flying through the air, and it is already the middle of the year.  Would you say that you will start this work next month or next year?

This timetable must start today.  If you wait until next month, next year, tomorrow will never come.

After three years of marriage, by that time, a couple may feel that they have a big lump that they have to carry wherever they go and never be separate from it.  Would you want to go your own way, or the way God wants you to go?

Where is the ultimate settling place?

Each couple must set up their own goals and serve your home church where you witness 360 homes. In home church you can be proud of your husband or your wife. That is your territory and realm.

Home church is the place for your settlement.  You must set the home church foundation for which to work through, or there is nowhere else for you to go.

Your destination is witnessing.

When you love your home church you are consummating every order you have received from True parents, true teacher, true patriot and true saint.

If a shrine was placed up for those who accomplish their home church mission, it would definitely be a place where God wants to visit.  Through the destiny of home church you will find heaven and your permanent home.

It is almost like being given into marriage.

If you leave this responsibility unfulfilled, then that great burden will be left to your own children to complete.

In this providence, the wife will work harder than the husband works and the husband will work harder than his wife, loving home church more than they love each other.  You love home church more than anything else.  You can concentrate there to build your own kingdom and heaven on earth.

This is the new kind of evangelism where we must succeed.

You will be welcomed even if you appear to your home church without any clothes.  You will still be welcomed as their savior.

The grandparents in your home church area will be competing to have your children come to their home and take care of them.  Your baby will have 360 homes right away in which to live.

Home church people will give true blessing and honor to your children. 

They will proclaim, "We know your father and mother very well and they are true saints. We saw God through your parents."

Then your children will be embraced and loved by your people as precious children.  Your home church people will pray for blessing towards yours as well. Your children will go to the same school in the morning with the home church children.

Your children will be embraced and loved by your home church people as precious children.  They will pray for blessings to come to you as well.  Your children will attend the same schools.  If your home church people have money, they won't consider it theirs, but think how they can spend the money for the home church providence.

Three hundred and sixty homes will be one family work and they will want to spend money for that. 

In another twenty years, you will look back and see that you are assisted by many people.  This is a prime time now.


In order to walk this path, you need to be able to absorb all types of people.  If Jesus was still alive and he was in his 80s, would you tell him he could not visit your home because you don't like the elderly?  You would say that you would serve him.

If you do this, then you should do this for your own parents in the Messiah's place.  As your parents get older, you should serve them as much as you serve Jesus.  That is real love.

The base to practice this type of love is in the home church providence.  If you consistently make effort now, some power will pull people to visit you if they were passing by to another destination.

It already July; imagine if you poured out your heart to a new person each day starting in January how extraordinary things could have happened by now.  You would have almost converted 200 people.

It is not too late.

You can start today and renew your energy.  This is what Heavenly Father, your wife, or husband, your children, and all of your relatives wants.


Time is not merciful enough to slow down for you. You have to keep abreast of time because time will never relax its pace. You can finish school in four years, but with extra effort you can graduate in three or even two years. It all depends upon your own effort. 


This morning the two central words are gratitude and home church.

In this providence, there is no room for complaint.  When Father came to America, he came as a firefighter to save the people, but he was met with hostility instead.

He never complained.

He was always grateful to God instead.  Even though he was constantly persecuted, his territory is constantly growing.

His opponents thought they had succeeded in knocking him out of commission.  But they did not understand that the more they attacked, the more blessings came to him and the members.

If the government persecutes, then their blessings must go to him.  If the media attacks with false claims, then their own blessings will diminish.  It will be like scales being emptied on one side and loaded on the other side.

While receiving persecution as a daily diet, we are growing.

You must really live up to the expectations in home church and all your shortcomings will be forgiven based on this condition.  Will you promise?

True Parent's Heart Wants to Give Everything

The bible gives the account of the beginning of creation.   Let's forget the scientific and biblical debate of the beginning and keep it simple. Have you ever wondered why God built the universe and all of creation?

Like an artist, God first made a plan with man as the model for all of creation.  When you look at the physics internally and externally of man you will see the map of all creation.  God as our Parent created all of the universe for the love of man.  Once we realize this fact, then the account in Genesis
takes on a more heartfelt meaning when you see God as a Parent preparing the world for His children.

And God said, “Let the land produce living creatures according to their kinds: the livestock, the creatures that move along the ground, and the wild animals, each according to its kind.” And it was so.  

God made the wild animals according to their kinds, the livestock according to their kinds, and all the creatures that move along the ground according to their kinds. And God saw that it was good.

Then God said, “Let us make mankind in our image, in our likeness, so that they may rule over the fish in the sea and the birds in the sky, over the livestock and all the wild animals,^[a] and over all the creatures that move along the ground.”

So God created mankind in his own image,
    in the image of God he created them;
    male and female he created them.

Genesis 1 24-27

If humans are made in God's image, then like God as human parents we want to give everything to our children - all of our heart and possession for our children's love.

This is the parental heart of a parent.  The greatest of all relationships is that between parent and child.

Parents who have given birth to and raised children all understand the desire to receive blessings and feel happiness through their sons and daughters, whom they love dearly. Also, if they have established a correct standard through which they can experience joy, they will want to bequeath this to their offspring for eternity.

Even fallen parents hope that their children will grow up as fine people who can be followed and revered by all nations and praised eternally.

The parental heart seeks to protect children from harm and is concerned about them day and night. The heart of fallen parents can even be like this.

For example, a mother ignores the diaper smells from her baby while nursing her child at her breast. Thus, if fallen parents have such a heart towards their children, how earnest must God's heart have been, longing to love Adam and Eve based on their original hearts?

You should all think about this. When you nurse and nurture your babies, you sing them lullabies and whisper to them, wishing that their lives will be a success. Any parent has such a heart.

No matter how incompetent or lacking parents may be, if one of their children suffers from a disability, the parents' hearts are devastated to the point of breaking.   To God, when He looks down at humanity, he sees disfigured children crippled by sin.

If this situation is then resolved, the relief and joy are overwhelming in proportion to the original pain. If such is the heart of a fallen parent, what must be the heart of God?

If a son commits a crime and is sent to prison, the parents tearfully forgive and reach out to him, instead of saying, "Serves him right!" This is why parental love is extraordinary. Similarly, if a son is sentenced to execution, his mother will be totally grief-stricken and seek any way, even changing the world's legal systems or risking her life, to save her son.

Such is the unchanging and sacrificial nature of the parental heart towards the children.

Do loving parents keep an account of the times they love their children, saying: "We bought you shoes and clothes a few days ago with our hard earned money, which cost us so many dollars and cents?"

When parents love their children, they want to treat them even better than princes and princesses, and still feel sorry that they cannot give more.

Parents have the heart of wanting to give their children something better. This is why we cherish parental love. You should all know this.

No matter how much parents give they feel that it is not enough; they love and yet feel as if there is some love they have not yet given and want to give more; and even after giving, they still feel unsatisfied with what they were able to give their children.

This essence of parental love is that is what connects us to eternal love. This is the original motivation for the beginning point of love.

When it comes to children, parents always want to give the best of what they have to the children.  This is the true definition of a parental hear and this heart is a reflection of the nature of God.

If this is so, what kind of being is God?  God wants to share of  his most precious attributes to those who truly become His children.

The unconditional nature of rue love is that it does not waver, it is eternal, does not change according to circumstances or convenience.  A good friend will stay by his friend's side when the times are good and when they are bad.  A husband of true love will stay with his wife forsaking all others when she is sick and old and all of her beauty has faded away.  A parent whose child has run away will always look out the window every night in hopes of seeing their child return.

 Constancy is the ballast of all lasting and true relationships.

When people practice true love, they are there for one another no matter what the situation even if it turns sour.  God's love is unchanging and is a place of the heart where we want to return time and again for forgiveness, renewal, reassurance, wisdom and fresh determination.

A bumper sticker reads, “If you don’t feel close to God—guess who moved?” We may be sure that He didn't. The “Unmoved Mover” remains constant, the ultimately loving parent.

One parent practiced the elements of true love in her patience to win the hart of her reluctant teenage daughter.  Her rebellious daughter had a "smart mouth" and was very arrogant which harmed and pain the parents.

At the height of crisis, the police called the mother to tell her they had picked up her daughter for reckless driving.  The mother was so upset that she couldn't talk to the daughter for a whole night.

Then, after the mother stepped back, she knew that she had still belief in her daughter's goodness.  She wanted to demonstrate this faith to her daughter.  She wrapped up a little gift and handed it to her daughter with this note:

“This rock is a thousand years old. That’s how long it will take before I give up on you.”

The teenager broke down in tears at this evidence of her mother’s devotion, and the two became closer after that.

You and I should be grateful that God's heart is immensely larger than the human parent's love.  He never gives up on people who have wronged Him - even when they had already given up on themselves.

 People, like the teenage girl, feel worthless, hopeless, despairing, and beyond redemption when they are travelling down the wrong path.  Fortunately, God's love is like a rock.  He is always there, always has hope in us and waits for His child to return.

As Jesus expressed so poignantly, “Ask, and it will be given to you, seek and you will find; knock and the door shall be opened unto you.”

We can visualize that God is a True Parent that is always home and ready to open the door and answer it when His child needs Him.  He always holds steadfast that His children will visit wanting Him to embrace them in a love that never wavers.  God is a True and Ultimate Parent.

Reverend Moon has said:

“What made Jesus sacred was that he trusted and loved people, wanted to live with them and save them more than anything else—even though they betrayed him. He blessed his enemies. There are sixty-six volumes in the Holy Scripture, but when you condense its significant meaning, the teaching of Jesus is . . . unchangeability.”

Children Should Recieve Parental Love

"The uniqueness of true love is vividly demonstrated in family relationships." 

One highly successful marriage program advises husband and wife to make individual lists of the kinds of things that make them feel loved, and then share their lists with their spouses.

A wife might list that she feels deliciously cared for when her husband makes her favorite cup of tea.  The husband may feel loved from the warmth of fresh socks out of the dryer a wife has prepared for him to wear.  If a spouse makes time for considerate little favors, it might not have as much of an effect on the spouse if they do not cater to their specific needs and unique character.

Parents must learn to adjust to the different needs of each of their children who are encouraged and nurtured in their own ways.  Further, as the children grow, their needs grow.

A nine-year old who vies for his mother's kiss may at 10 years old think his mother is smothering him when she does it voluntarily.  What used to work to satisfy the child now has turned into an offense which the parent has to adjust to the uniqueness of the growing individual.

On the same token, children live always learning how to love and relate to the unique adults who are their parents.

One father loved to wrestle with his children and was okay with the children's roughness even if they sat their whole weight on him.  The children found out that when they touched his hair he would lose his temper.  He had a sensitive scalp and hated for his head to be touched.

The children, like the adults, had to adjust to what their father loved.

Even though love is a principle that works and applies to everyone, it also is also tailor made for everyone.  Love is tailor-made to the individual so one can feel uniquely loved.

God as a Parent is the same way.  He gently guides His children through through things that speak to their individual hearts.  Through music, art, literature, sports, pets, dancing-whatever a person loves, God shows His knowledge and appreciation of an individual's uniqueness by speaking to the person's heart.  God uses what a person loves and in essence is saying, "I know you. I understand you.  I love you for who you are."


Society's Problems Begin in Family


All problems originate in the family unit.  What is the cause of juvenile problems?  They stem from emotional issues.  Negative results can stem from not having stable parents, brothers or sisters, and from the unsound man and woman relationship.

Where do we start to correct this destructive problem in children?  We should begin in the family.

"They have parents, but the parental heart is not implanted in the depth of the children's heart. In other words, parental love is not deeply solidified in the bone marrow of the children. From that point, the gap between parent and children expands."

If you grow up in an environment and acquire the feelings of hate instead of the feeling of love, you are more apt to have accidents in adulthood.  One who is a virgin and waits patiently with appreciation can create a pleasant environment in her married life, but if a virgin has an angered heart, she will have an unhappy married life.


Many people curse God when it comes to their unpleasant life.  But once people recognize that the environment in which they live is the environment they created among themselves they will begin to see that God has created a fair world.  It is the same as the law of attraction.  You create what you think.

When should parents begin to give love to their children?

As soon as children are born, parents should give 100% parental love, otherwise, children will be dominated by dissatisfaction.  No one can measure love, but if a parents has a 1, 000 units of love, then they should give a 1, 000 units to their children.

If parents give 900 and hold back 100, the children will feel will feel their parents didn't give them any love at all.  Children are only satisfied when their parents give their whole love.  Isn't this true in all love relationships?

Children are treated no different than pets nowadays.  As soon as children leave the hospital, they are placed in their own separate room in the home.  Seldom does the children sleep with their parents.  Mothers seldom feed their own milk to their children.  This is why parents cannot feel the warmth of their parents.  If babies don't sleep with their parents, they will be no different from a house pet.  Children shouldn't be treated in this way.

Several babies sleeping with their parents is a beautiful scene. It is good to sleep with babies. If there's not enough space, you can make space by sleeping upside down.

Use your brain to make the arrangement. It is a little uncomfortable for a small baby to sleep between huge parents, but it feels good for everyone. Babies should feel the body warmth of parents.



God's Love For His Children


Yet, we should not forget the greatest of all parents, our Heavenly True Parent who created the universe.

Has anyone ever thought of God having the inspiration to create humanity and filling the world with pleasure for them the way a human couple feels when they are pregnant?  If we are like our Father in Heaven, He must have had great anticipation in wait for His first son and daughter.  He waited millions of years for our creation.

The author of the Divine Principle gives the most beautiful explanation of God preparing the world for His children:


"Like the most nurturing of parents, God prepared a nursery and a setting for His children to grow in.

The tender sparkle of the stars in the soothing depths of night, accompanied by the gentle glow of the moon—enough light to comfort and reassure without disturbing the sleep—in this and in thousands of other ways, God shows his care and devotion to the comfort and joy of His children.

The gush of incomparable sweetness in a sun-warmed apple plucked right from the tree; the kiss of a cool breeze off a verdant river on a hot day; the smells of holiday meats and spices as a person comes in from the crisp outdoors; the comfort and mystery of birdsong in the morning—earth is indeed paradise.

The intricacy and fabulousness of God’s living creation cannot be compared to even the finest, most exalted works of art in the museums of the world. God’s creation surpasses them all. And it is all for the sake of His children."
