What Makes One a Messiah?

If a non-believer was to ask you this question, would you be able to answer it clear enough without a lot of relgious jargon?  How about giving a satisfactory answer to why humanity needs a Messiah from your heart?  How do you answer such a question?

What is a Messiah's purpose?

There are several Messiahs by definition for each religious sect.  A person who comes to save for that specific realm of belief, correct?

Why do we need a Messiah?  To bring us bakc to the point connecting to God's love.

In short, a Messiah is connected to God at a higher level and connects us directly to God's love.

Humanity who has inherited satanic blood needs to go back to that point.

 

 

The blood lineage of fallen people is disconnected from God's love.

We must indemnify this fallen blood and return to God's pure blood such as Jesus.

The original sin of lust or love outside of God must be removed from humanity completely.  But how do we go through the process of removing the fallen blood?

We cannot do it on our own. Even though we try to bring peace to the earth, we need a Messiah to connect us to God in order to begin that process.

The Messiah makes conditions where humanity can go back to God.

Therefore, since this has been God's strategy throughout the ages, He set up champions from the eivl world.

To understand God's process of bringing the world back to its original position, we must look in history from God's point of view.

Let's start with the first family that God created.

This family consisted of a man Abel, who served God as His first champion after the first parents fell away from God.

Abel was the first man to give up his life for God's purpose.  He had to reject and separate himself from Satan in order to go back to the bosom God by fighting and defeating Satan.

He had to be different from his fallen brother as the first position to receive God's love.




There are three stages are the important formula: the one who is willing to save the world must fight against Satan and win the victory over him; then he or she must come into the love of God; and then, feeling the heart of God and fallen people, he or she must be willing to sacrifice him or herself in place of the fallen people. Only on that condition can the fallen people be taken back.




When Cain's offering was denied by God, Abel should have come into the love of God and through feeling and experiencing God's grief and his brother's grief he should have sacrificed himself in Cain's place.

This sacrifice was not supposed to happen through the shedding of his blood through death, but as a living sacrifice so that God could work through him.

Instead, Abel was arrogant and not compassionate toward Cain who represented the fallen, satanic blood lineage and was thus killed by his brother.

God then worked through His champion Noah who accomplished a very unusual mission. 

God directed Noah to go to the top of a mountain and build a boat.  This is awkward even in our day.  Common sense would say to build a ship near the water in a shipyard.   Who could in our day and age accept this mission or obey such a command without having any doubt?

Even in Noah's time no one could believe that this kind of command came from God. 

Still, Noah went up and down that mountain working on his boat.

To think of it more on a human terms, Noah's wife must have packed his lunch everyday and struggled with how she and her family appeared to everyone.

But God works in such 'odd' ways for a reason --- because of evil.

 

 

 

God cannot dwell together with evil.

The direction of God is 180 degrees contrary to the direction of evil.

God abhors evil!

He does not accept the things that the evil world accepts and does not want to have anything to do with the evil world or anything that is tainted by evil.

Even we do not even want to look at our enemy; God also does not want to have nothing to do with the evil, satanic world.  Therefore, when he gives commands to his champion, He chooses ways that seem incomprehensible to humans.

God test our faith and cannot do so by doing so in a comfortable way to His people.  Therefore, it is important that we are willing to comply with God's extraordinary instructions when He asks.f

This is an easy task.

People of faith see Noah's actions as glorious, but in his time, they thought he was a crazy man for building an ark away from water.  Nobody could see that he was the central position in God's providence - a messiah of his time.

Let's take a moment with Abraham.

He did not come from a religious house, but from one who made idols for a living.  He had to separate himself from his evil surrounding and leave his homeland in order to be God's champion.  That was God's command.

If Abraham discussed his descion to follow God's direction, as an idolmaker, he would have thought his son was crazy.

God instructed him to journey away from his homeland. This was a lonely journey.  He had to wander like a gypsy and give up everything.






The champions of God have one characteristic in common: They begin their missions by denial of themselves and their surroundings.





Always we find that their life in this world was lonely because they suffered many, many things and. were persecuted by this world. When they had nobody to convey their thoughts and feelings to, they could go only to God and talk to Him.

Also, when we look at their lives in the world, their material lives-they were so narrowed down, received so few material things; naturally, they turned their hearts and lives toward God. When we think of how they were living in this world, their scope of consciousness was so narrowed down that they had to cognize everything centered on God. That was their life.

They naturally had the task to live centered on the oneness of God in every area - recreation with other, knowledge and cognition.  They plunged deeply in their relationship with God and relied purely on Him.

They did not have anyone on earth to rely on.  The reality of this fallen world was seen as narrow to them where they needed to build an opening for God by relying on heaven.

 

Even if a narrow detour must be taken to God we as God's champion, are not supposed to be depressed.

There is a way out.

We should not be discontented.  All things were created for the purpose of happiness and satisfaction and contentment.

From this narrow point where the evil world and God meet is the new relationship between God and ourselves begin to open.

For example, St. Francis emphasized pure poverty, a nothingness in which he could find happiness, appreciation, contentment, and satisfaction. From that point on, God could move and let him feel happiness and joy.

True oneness with God was created from that point.  We have to realize that we are fallen people with the blood of satan pumping through us. We stand on the center of two lines between the evil world and God's side.

 

We have to know when to narrow down, so we will know when the new era of happiness and joy will begin.

Let's examine this line throught the life of Jesus Christ himself.


The Bible has scanty details of his life. It doesn't even say he went to elementary school.  He was a laborer, an assistant carpenter.


Reverend Sun Myung Moon speaks on this fact:

"There is so much to know, so many hidden truths within the Bible which are not written explicitly. If I revealed some of those secrets I am sure you would be amazed. Even though I know these things, I could not tell you those stories lightly.

For you then would ask, "How do you know such things?"

I learned them from Jesus. Yes, and I learned from God. Remember, at the time of Noah nobody could believe Noah. At the time of Abraham, nobody could believe Abraham. By the same token, even though I will honestly tell you what actually happened at the time of Jesus, no one will easily believe me.

 

Who is the Messiah?

The Messiah is completely united with the heart of God, like a direct import to earth from heaven. When God sent Jesus to be the Messiah, did He just take him as a baby and place Him on earth, or did He at least have to utilize the body of a woman for him to be born?

We must think on a human point of reality when we look at Jesus.  He was born of Mary.  Since she was a human, she was born of parents.

She must have been a descendant of the fallen lineage so how could she have a child with the blood of God pumping through him?

Q. How do we know Jesus Christ is truly the Son of God?

When we look in other religions and do a comparison, we see that Mohammed, Confucius and Buddha had many more followers than Jesus did in his time. So what makes Jesus so special?

Jesus is the Son of God because he came from the heavenly lineage whereas the above founders did not.

Based on the foundation of Jacob and Esau successfully fulfilling the indemnity condition of Cain and Abel's mistake God prepared another step to be able to bring about a Godly lineage to protect His childre from the womb.

This providence was sealed within the next three generations of Jacob's descendants. It is recorded in Genesis chapter 38.

Adam and Eve fell through fornication, and Tamar was one example of how God frequently used women of most unusual character in restoration.

Judah was the fourth son of Jacob, and Judah's first son married a woman whose name was Tamar. According to the Law, if a son died without leaving sons, his brother must act as a husband to the dead brother's wife so that the dead brother's lineage would be continued. Tamar did not have children when her husband died, and when the next brother refused to fulfill his responsibility, he also died.

Tamar saw that through the third brother as well, she had no hope to bear children.

She knew that her mission was to continue the family of her husband and Judah, his father, and she finally decided to sacrifice even her honor in order to fulfill. Disguising herself as a prostitute, Tamar enticed her father-in-law to have a relationship with her. Without knowing she was his daughter-in-law Judah consented. At that time adultery was punished by death. In order to save her life for the sake of her child, Tamar asked Judah for his signet and staff as a pledge for payment, and then confiscated them.

Three months later when it became obvious that the widow Tamar was pregnant, she was brought before Judah to be judged. You can imagine Judah's horror, "Bring her out, and let her be burned!" But she answered, "By the man to who these belong, I am with child," and she brought out the things that Judah had given her in his pledge.

 Why would God use adulterous women in the dispensation?


God selected His champions from the most miserable situations. Tamar was a righteous woman, and though she was placed in a sinful position, she completely dedicated herself to God's mission, risking her life, honor, and prestige. Paralleling the way Eve lied to God and her husband-to-be in the process of the fall, Tamar deceived her father-in-law and her husband-to-be, Judah's third son.

She reversed the position of Eve by reversing Eve's actions, and the significant thing is that she risked her life in doing it, just as Eve did in falling at the cost of her life. Thus, God could have a claim on Tamar's womb-on the very life emerging in that womb.

Tamar conceived twins, and the struggle of Cain and Abel began within her very womb.

The Bible records how Rebecca's twins also struggled within their mother's womb. Rebecca prayed to God to understand what was happening, and the Lord answered her, saying, "Two nations are in your womb, and two peoples, born to you, shall be divided; the one shall be stronger than the other, and the elder shall serve the younger." Ultimately Jacob did gain the birthright from his elder brother, Esau.
When the time came for Tamar's children to be delivered, the struggle ensued directly within her womb. The first child started to come out and the midwife tied a red thread around his wrist. That sign foreshadowed the emergence of communism in the last days.

Esau was also named "Edom," which means "red." (Gen. 25:30) However, before the first child could be born there was a struggle, and the younger brother pulled the other back inside the womb and was himself born first. That son was named Perez, and the other named Zerah.

The result of this struggle is that for the first time the restoration of Cain and Abel took place inside the mother's womb, the younger brother having subjugated his elder brother even prior to birth. Tamar's extraordinary action cleansed Judah's lineage and rendered it intact from satanic invasion from the time of conception.

Through this victory at the time of Tamar and also Jacob's earlier victory, God could claim a foundation that spanned the entire human life-span. Jesus was born in the lineage of Judah, and Satan had no way to invade his life in the womb because the cleansing process was already completed.

Jesus came years after the dispensation of Jacob and Tamar because God had to wait for Israel's national foundation to be established. The conditions were fulfilled on the family level at the time of Jacob, Tamar and Judah, but God needed to create a foundation to receive the Messiah within a nation, that he might be received on the national and international levels as easily as possible.

God Resembles More Than a Man

People of faith have regarded God as their father. But has anyone ever thought that God has more to the equation?

Why would God only resemble a man if He fashioned us as Himself?  Wouldn't God also resemble a woman? This is a good question.

God has dual characteristics of plus and minus.  The plus manifests as Adam and the minus manifests as Eve.

This means that one son and one daughter are the substantial object partners to God.  Therefore, a true man, represents God's plus characteristics and a woman represents God's minus characteristics.

God's internal nature is divided into two characteristics: Man and woman each resemble one characteristic of God when they are born.

God brings the two characteristics together in harmony and reunites them in a form that resembles His internal nature.

Since a man and woman who have reached perfection are the union of God's plus and minus characteristics, they become a harmonious being like God.

This is why a united husband and wife represents the whole of God.

The man becomes an incarnation of the true father's body by representing God's plus characteristics, and the woman becomes an incarnation of the true mother's body by representing the minus characteristics. 

Each man and woman is a representative of God.

Therefore, when a husband and wife come one through love, this is the same as embracing heaven and earth.  This is an encounter on the universal level.

In today's society, love relationships hardly resemble all the directions a true relationship encompass.  At the least a couple may relate to each other only on the level of man and woman, but the true relationship relates to one another on many different levels. 

The husband resembles all men, therefore he occupies more than just the husband position.

He is the representative of the father, elder brother at the same time as he is the husband; since the wife represents all women, she is a representative of the mother, elder sister at the same time as she is the wife.

Thus, this true couple cannot help but love and respect one another.  The man is the yang (plus) image of God and the woman is the yin (minus) image of God.

The coming together of a husband and wife is the same as wrapping heaven and earth in a wrapping cloth.Therefore, the husband and wife feel God's ideal heart of love when they come into oneness.

The man symbolizes heaven, and the woman symbolizes earth. 

The man and woman must unite forming harmony and parallel lines.

The relationship of husband and wife is not just limited to itself, but it represents heaven and earth.  When a man and woman perfect their love, it is the same as the perfection of the universe.

On the other hand, if this love was to shatter, then the order of the universe would be destroyed.  The vertical would would also be utterly demolished.

Which direction did the first husband and wife go?  They were disunited and did not resemble God, therefore, we inherited this kind of conflict which has developed on the universal level.

When a true man and true woman embrace in a loving manner, this is an occasion where the universe becomes one.  This was how God's true nature would have been realized in the human world.

Human beings are born as man and woman because of love.  Love bears fruit when a man and woman become husband and wife.

Thus becoming one.  Men and women are the substantial manifestations of God's love through the dual characteristics.  The two separate characteristics must find God's love in order to unite into one.

For a man and woman to encounter God's love, they must become one in love.  

Therefore, once we are able to meet God's love, we are able to live on the exact same level equal to God.

Modern religion teaches us that God is almighty, above all, all-knowing and all powerful and human beings cannot think to come near to Him except in a lowly position.  This is not the original plan.

It would be blasphemy to think otherwise. But human beings only came to this position after they had chosen another route outside of God's ideal.

Surely God would not give up on His ideal bearing fruit.  Therefore, God has cut a path where humanity can rise to a position where we can stand next to God. This was the original idea for creation.

When a husband and wife become one in God's love after they have become completely one in love, then they can advance all the way to God's position.

Therefore, after fulfilling God's ideal, whatever God possesses, then His children possess.  This is the three great blessings.

God's power is so amazing that He allows His children the authority to participate as co-creators.  At the same time, they inherit the entire ownership of God.

Adam's desire was to dominate heaven and earth.

The value of a true husband and wife would represent the central value of the whole world.  God valued that relationship.  We should see how holy and valuable the original love of a husband and wife is who are untainted by the Fall.  This is the original man and the original woman.

The Reason We Need Conjugal Love

What kind of place is the Kingdom of Heaven?

Simply put, heaven is a place where perfected people, who have true love, enter and live.

Okay, then what kind of people would they be?

Human beings are either man or woman, therefore the perfection of God's ideal love cannot be realized on earth without men or women.

God's love cannot be completed without perfected men and women who possess the ownership of love.

True families must be built in the nation and realize a family Kingdom of Heaven.

Based on this family, the Kingdom of Heaven on earth will be established.  Why is that so?

In order to feel and live in this Kingdom of Heaven in the future, you absolutely need a partner.  You receive stimulation in your family through your partner.

The previous posts speak about how heaven on earth is the extension of a family that has lived in and practiced love on the four relationships of husband and wife, sister and brother, parents and children and mother and father centered on God.

Through your daily life experience within this familial relationships, you can deeply learn the ideal of the future heavenly kingdom.

In order to deeply learn how to live in the heavenly realm, a husband and wife need each other.  Through this stimulation, the husband and wife will learn how to live eternally.

Progress does not move without stimulation.  Conjugal love pulls all the loves of the future into the realm of the present, gives stimulation, supplies the driving force, and brings them to that place.  The love of husband and wife contains the love for the nation, love for the world, and God's love.

Therefore, that love is able to pass freely anywhere.  Only a husband and wife who are united and love one another are able to enter the Kingdom of Heaven.

This is why a married couple that loves each other while they are on earth are always living in the heavenly kingdom.

Jesus was asked where the Kingdom of Heaven was and he answered that it was in your mind, didn't he?

But today, based on the teachings of the Divine Principle realize Jesus was to take it to the next level. We say that the Kingdom of Heaven is in the family.

If the Kingdom of Heaven is realized in the family, then our purpose will be fulfilled in the Church.  When you look at it this way, you should find and walk the right path centering on the Principle.

In order to realize the Kingdom of Heaven, a married man should be able to love all the women of the world with a heart with which he loves his own wife.

You should think that you selected your wife as the representative partner of all the women of the world.

Likewise, you should not think that your husband is just a husband.  You should think he has been selected as a representative from among all the men of the world.  

This is how women should behave: you should love one man not as one person, but as a representative of all men of the world; that man represents the father, the elder brother and the husband.

This means that a woman should think of her husband as her grandfather, father as well as her elder brother and younger brother.

Through this pure connection, a woman should be able to love her father, grandfather, her elder brother and younger brother.

Only such women can have a partner.

If a woman was to only like her husband, but did not like her father, grandfather, elder brother, younger brother and everyone else, this would be in violation of God's commitment to the greater good.
Therefore, you should carry the heart that is able to love all the men of the world and have a greater outlook that your husband, whom you embrace and love, is a man who is like a fruit of all these relations.

Therefore, if you develop a heart that can love your partner as your parents and brothers by transcending all nations and border, you will be regarded as God's son and daughter.  This is our philosophy.

An Ideal Conjugal Relationship

A true husband is able to say, "Since I was born for your sake, I will live for you and die for you."  This is the same with a true wife.

They are well-suited for each other and live for each other's sake, going beyond their own selves. If such a couple has a family, this family will inevitably become an ideal family, a family of happiness and a family of peace.

No matter how rich, talented or capable a man may be, the motivation of his birth does not lie within himself, because he is born for the sake of a woman.

Can a man be born without a woman?

In the same way, even if a woman can boast about being an America wearing the best makeup, she is still not born for her own sake.  Hence, a man should have broad shoulders and a woman should have broad hips so that they can fit together well.

Where are the ideal husband and wife of true love found?

An ideal husband and wife appear when they converge into one and serve one another, rather than their own interest.   

Can we find ideal people in a place where everyone just lives for themselves in a private manner?  No, we find such people in a place where they try to live for the sake of others.  The husband should be able to give his life for his wife and the wife should be able to give her life for her husband.

A couple who sacrifices in this way will be connected to the realm of God's love and receive direct protection, therefore, they will never fall.

A man should love his wife more than any other man in the world loves her.  Also, when a woman loves her husband, she should love him more than any other woman in the world loves him.  This is the ethics of love which a husband and wife should follow in order to realize a true family.

True parents live and die for the sake of their children. This is because love is established there in the family.

Likewise a couple that lives in true love appear only when they live for each other's sake and become one in love.  This is an ideal married couple.

A bride and bridegroom should become one through God's original love, not through money, lust, political power or honor.  

In secular relationships, we see that the wife receives energy from her husband when he makes a lot of money.

She receives energy when she sees the success and the money he has made.  He, thus, receives energy when he sees her receiving energy.

Then what happens when the money stops flowing in abundance?

Such a couple becomes anxious and their relationship begins to break down.  Haven't you witnessed this yourself?

A true married couple should become one in love based on God.

Such a couple should gradually progress in their love.  Through the wife loving her husband and the husband loving his wife, a couple should create a family that loves God.  

People should love their spouse as God's representative. 

If a couple loves each other based on just their human viewpoint, then when they see all of their faults and shortcomings, they will not be able to fully accept it and love as God does.

They might soon seek a divorce.

Today's society, husband and wives have separate bank accounts and keep tabs of how much money they give their husbands.

This is quite a strange couple, isn't it?  They distinguish their own money and their husband's money.  They also claim crisp bills as their own and the wrinkled bills as the man's, this does not look like love.

Wives should be willing to open up their purse and use the money for good purposes.  They should put their money to good use and use more.  This is how it should be.

But a wife that gets angry and spouts that her husband has spent more money than she has, she is in error.

You are happy when you are able to give without limit.  When you are able to give and take at any time you please, whether it is in a deep place, low place or whether it is night or day, you will be happy.

Hence, you will be miserable if you are unable to give even if you want to give, and unable to receive even if you want to receive.

This is Completed Testament Age

If you have noticed, the Bible references to the number three as stages of completion.  The Principle states these stages as the formation stage, growth, stage, and the completion stage.

Therefore, the Old Testament age refers to the formation stage.  God used this time period in history for the preparation of the Coming of heaven on earth.  The New Testament Age is the growth stage of history.

And we finally come to the Completed Testament where all of history comes to fruition with the return of the Messiah to the earth.  This is the age where all that God had hoped for at the beginning of creation will finally be fulfilled.

In other words, all the wrongs of history will finally be reversed and humanity can return to their rightful positions as true sons and daughters of God.

On the path of restoring the world to heaven on earth, we should go from the age of servant of servant, the age of servant, the age of adopted child, to the age of the direct lineage or true sons and daughters.

We have come to say that we are God's sons and daughters, but in actually, at best we are His adopted children because we do not carry God's true blood lineage.

If we carried the blood lineage of God, there would be no such thing as sin running through our veins.  Jesus' sacrificed his life to link humanity to God as sons and daughters.  In the Completed Testament Age, he returns to raise humanity to the True Son and True Daughter position.

Jesus came to restore the blood lineage and liquidate sin from the earth by his followers linking to his true family.

Since no one in Jesus' time practiced absolute faith that he was God's son, Jesus was only able to give us spiritual salvation through his death, but left complete physical salvation unfinished through sacrificing his own body.

How are we able to go from the adopted child's position and connect directly to God's lineage?

However, can we complete the course from the age of the servant of servants, through the age of the servant, and the age of the adopted child, and be connected to the age of direct lineage? Connecting to the age of direct lineage cannot be done just like that.

True children should go through the change of lineage and rebirth

The lineage of the true son and that of the adopted son are different.  This is why we need a change of lineage from our sinful one.

The Messiah is the true son of God.

The Fall was the first parents basing their love relationship on Lucifer's will.

This mistaken has been rectified through True Parents who create proper marriages through which the change of blood lineage is possible through linking to their lineage of God.

True Parents clear away evil deeds of false parents, thereby abolishing hell on earth, and giving marriage blessings to hundreds of billions of ancestors in the spirit world.

Since humankind obtained satanic blood, people are unable to return to God on their own without a mediator who carries God's pure bloodline.

This transition of our blood defiled by Satan must transition.  This is why the Messiah must come again to establish a family carrying his blood lineage.  

If he does not return to the earth, there is no way to restore the blood lineage.

True Parents must rectify the wrong lineage that forms the root of the satanic world.  The Messiah does not return to destroy the earth, but to turn the sinful lifestyle and correct the misdirected course of love.

Why did Jesus mention the paradox, "Those who seek to live will die, and those who seek to die will live."?

It is because the sinful world must die.  The tradition of the sinful individual must die.

The loving relationship between God and humankind is based on the true love which God desired as His ideal at the time of creation.  Humanity was to enjoy loving oneness in unity with God.

If the first parents had followed God and united with His word, then we would have never been banished from Heaven and we would enter the Kingdom of Heaven without ever worrying about hell coming into existence.

There were three stages in history: The Old Testament Age, the New Testament Age, and the Completed Testament Age.

The Old Testament Age was the time for the redemption of children through the offering of sacrifices.  They sacrificed material things to prepare for the coming of God's True Son.

In the New Testament Age, Jesus was the offering for us to receive spiritual salvation and ultimately physical salvation through the reversal of false parents to true parents.

This age of the Second coming prepares for the parents as the bride and bridegroom.

The reason that I, having the name of the True Parent, have been suffering for forty years as the center of the Completed Testament Age, is to receive God on earth. This will lead to the oneness of God and humankind in love.

The original relationship between God and humankind is one of parent and child. 

In the New Testament Age, human beings were God's adopted children.

Now in the Completed Testament Age, we are in a parent-child relationship.  Now, what the son does is what the Father does and what the Father does is what the son does.  They act together.

What belongs to the Father belongs to the son, and what belongs to the son belongs to the Father.  The reason the movement which teaches this fact is feared is because it teaches this destined parent-child relationship.

The True Parents, that restored the fallen position of the first parents, come on this level plane and walk a suffering path in order to invite God in.

What position do they arrive?

To the original, vertical plane.

Since humanity was cut off from the original principle of heaven and earth, peace did not begin as long as that root is not restored.  This is absolute.

This is why human effort alone in human history was never able to bring about world peace without redeeming the root cause of humanity's problems.

You should think of the Messiah as being the same as you.  What is his mission?

The Old Testament age was the sacrifice of creation to find true sons and daughters. In the New Testament Age, the true son were sacrificed for the coming True Parents.

The Completed Testament Age is the True Parents paving the way for God to come.

The True Parents are to build a base, encompassing all the people of the world for the Father.  As the Father's heart unfolds, then the Father's realm of heart will naturally emerge and settle here.

God will be able to say that, "Everything is finished," when He is in the central position of love and reorganizes the original, ideal authority.  The first parents obeyed Lucifer's word, restoration of humanity following God's word is the time we are living today.

The method has been different for each age for people to return to God according to the level of intelligence during that time period.

In the Old Testament Age, people connected to God through sacrifices; in the New Testament Age, it was through believing and following Jesus; the Completed Testament Age, is people can go to God by attending the True Parents.

God looks at three generations of a family.

God wants to bring you into unity after three generations.  Your marriage represents the Old Testament Age, the New Testament and Completed Testament Age is next. The tradition will be established by the third generation, who is born through the second generation of your sons and daughters.

True Parents sacrificed in order to bring the vertical God to earth and have dominion, in the Completed Testament Age.  

Through the unity of the horizontal and vertical love, God's love and life finally burst forth.

The seed of life that began in God's love and based on the original Principle standard will appear on earth.  Based on the love of True Parents, new blood ties expand with the harmony of God and humankind for the first time in human history.

Now, we must restore the rights of ownership. 

Now in the Completed Testament Age, you must stand in the position representing the mother and father.  

Satan became owner of creation who stole God's true position because everything deviated from God's true love.

However, we must indemnify all this and bring everything to the original owner. 

The Completed Testament Age is the time of accomplishment, in other words harvest.

Everything God strives for throughout history will finally be accomplished as individuals all the way to the worldwide level.

These levels are linked through God's love, God's life and God's true lineage.  This is the tradition of one lineage, one love and one life.

When everything in creation is connected back to God, then Satan will have to leave.  The work of engrafting to God's true blood lineage through the True Parents, will remove the connection we have with the satanic lineage.

Does God Need Love?

Does God need true love?  We know that humanity has been in search of the purest love, but God has total authority, why would He need love?

Actually, the fact that God is almighty and absolute means that God also needs love more than anyone else in the universe.  Everything on earth only can work through the power of love.

Is it possible for God to have love without humanity or creation?  Is He able to experience joy all by Himself?

Love needs an object to complete a circuit, and even God cannot violate this law. 

God needs someone in which to love and be loved by; but is humanity equipped to give love to God? If so, would it be men and women together or separately?  Will love hit two people at the same time or one at a time?

What is the order of this love?  Who would be the first in this love crusade?

It is impossible to go in two different directions at the same time so there must be an order.  Would you be able to love your mother and husband with the same intensity, or would you love one more than the other?

Can you kiss them or embrace them both at the same time?

In this day and age, the feminist movement wants men and women to be equal, but there should be an order or discipline between them.

Equality and fairness are two different things.

Having blind equality does not equal fairness.  God loves both men and women equally as His children like any father, but there is always priority or sequence that follows.

Who would be the first to love God?  Women would say men come first.

When you make a circular motion based on this external layer, it goes in all different directions and ultimately is self-destructing.  Lasting, peaceful circular motion is always set up around an axis.

In everything, we need this central axis.  If you use this central line, then there will be no destruction no matter how fast or long you turn there. The more responsibility one has, the farther he advances toward the central position.

Who is designed more for greater responsibility, men or women?

The biblical tradition was for men to be given the blessing, because men are ultimately responsible.  Man is the subject in that central responsibility.

Blessing always accompanies responsibility. 

Throughout history, mankind has traditionally lived in this way, with women leaving their family homes to get married and taking their husband's name.  During war time and pioneering times, the women assisted behind the men in their work.

Men are in the subject mode and women are in the object mode.

Would you rather have a feminine man or a masculine man?

Women rather have a masculine man because this is a quality they do not have.  God created men and women in a complementary relationship.

Women are created for conquest of love by men.

This is not offensive when it is genuine, unselfish love that conquers you.  You will be intoxicated by it instead of repulsed by it.  At a certain point you will be a prisoner of love and give everything you have for the sake of your husband.

This is how God designed women.

The more you are conquered by love, the more you want to give. 

This is the spirit of true love.


I am a tough and rugged man who cannot stand any injustice, but even though I have a fiery temper I was conquered by the love of God and became totally helpless. In that love, I was made a lamb. If I weren't caught up in the love of God then I could not stand all the criticism that has come to me, but because of the love of God, the more people criticize the more I like it. In the name of God, I can be persecuted and tortured.


Father said in his speech that God would test him by allowing persecution to come.  When he would overcome, he would be completely intoxicated by God's love.  Then God recognizes him as His son, the living proof of His love.

God gives more tribulation as a condition where He can give him more love.

If Father is able to absorb the criticism and welcome the persecution he receives, then within the realm of God's love, there is nothing he cannot do.

Love is the central theme.  Would you like the kind of love where God allows persecution to come to you?  You would endure it because of love.

Equality is good, but not with blinders. 

Because you are not losing anything, you don't take exception to this, do you?

God created Adam first to be next to Him.

Women are built as objects, not subject.  If a woman was to go out late at night, it is natural for her to ask for a man to accompany her to the dark parking lot or to her car.

But even her youngest brother would be able to go out alone at night without asking for his sister's help.

This is the complimentary order of subject and object relationship which God established.

Father's family is the same way.  His first born was his daughter who is next to him, and then his second oldest is his son who is next to her.  Just because he is the first son does not mean he assumes the first position in the family.

He would not complain that his eldest sister is given first treatment.

Why is this so?

This is the order of love, flowing to the first fruits, then the second fruits.

There is a certain flow and timing which remains as the universal order.  God created one at a time in order, not two at once.  God would not complain about this because it is God's universal order.

This order is established in subject and object relationship.

If all of creation was a Boeing 747, then true love would be the compass and navigator.  True love love guides the whole plane with all its passengers riding in the correct direction.


I have been called all kinds of things, such as a dictator worse than Hitler. Do you think I have the power to do everything at random according to my will? Am I without principles and law? What is guiding me? True love. 


Father is obedient to the law of true love more than anyone else.  He upholds this law and gives his entire life for it.

Does true love have color of white, black or yellow?  True love is all colors.  All colors have come to follow Father, why is that?  They each have a common goal.  We are not just talking about it, we're creating it.

A good example is we have all colors and races under one fatherhood and bound by true love.

Could this be the result of a dictatorship?

You work hard at your mission and it seems like  a thankless, miserable life, but underneath is a burning desire to be a central person of true love.


You bring meaning to hard work.  You do not do it because someone forces your, but you do it because you have desire that is burning, you have peace within you.

This is true love.

When you are activated by true love, everything you do shall have beauty and glory.  If you communicate with God, then you could never leave him.  Even if you were to receive persecution from the whole world, you are able to sustain your ground, because true love of God upholds us.

This love is invincible because this true love is what mankind needs. 

Because those who you witness have to receive that love through you, they have to come.

Once you reach the level of total oneness with God in His true love, then you can enjoy absolute freedom and do anything with God.  In this love of God, there is no deed that is ungodly.  Even if you do things that seem nasty on the outside, they will bring you closer to God.

No deed done in true love is ugly.

What if God was angry about something, but in that moment His three-year old grandson came over and said, "Grandpa".  He would not be able to help but smile despite His anger, because that one word came from the child's true love.

Maybe God was in the middle of making a life or death decision for the universe, but even at that moment that one word of true love melted His heart.

If you have ever seen a moon launch, the moon may be in one direction in the sky, but the rocket will go in the opposite direction.  The spectators do not think that this makes any sense.

Those living in the world would say the same of the movement, that we were crazy and going in the wrong direction to the Kingdom of Heaven.  But our compass has a clear direction.  It is a spiritual compass leading ultimately to heaven.

If that compass leading your heart is true love then you are bound to reach heaven. 

Even though the rocket looks like it is doing unnecessary maneuvers, if it is led by the compass of true love, it will definitely take you right into heaven.

When that rocket led by true love lands in God's love, that love will explode and rock the entire universe.

When this happens, God will be activated in true love and begin to dance.  When God dances, all of creation will harmonize with Him and begin to dance, too.  Even if God stepped on someone's head in His excitement, that person would not complain, and probably ask for more.

This is the power of true love.

The contest of giving true love is the ultimate competition between husband and wife. 

If you are able to say that you love your partner with the true love of God, then no matter how wealthy or handsome or beautiful he or she is, he has to bow down.

True love is the ultimate gauge of value, not appearance or social standing.

If a wife measures how her husband has given true love to his family, if he is defeated in the competition of true love, he has to bow down to her.  If the subject is defeated in true love, then he must humbly come under his object.

This works on every level, as between a head of state and the people.  If a child is on tour of the White House and asks the President if he loves the people as much as he love his parents and he answers yes, then he is a great President.

If he cannot love the people more than his own parents, he is a failure.

Just as the Bible states that even though you may move mountains, without love it does not have value.  What is the expression of this true love?  Unselfish giving in everyday life is the true expression of that love.

This is the way parents have been living for their children and also the way God has been living for mankind.

Any subject demonstrating unselfish love toward his object is living true love.

When a man stands in the center of true love, the Kingdom of Heaven shall be there.  That love will go beyond any power that is on earth and win over it.  Then the power of unity will bind everything together into oneness like glue.

This is our goal on the road toward an ideal world.  Our direction is true love.

When we manifest that true love in our daily life, it is unselfish giving everyday.  You will also always remember your position.

When you get closer and closer to that goal, many burdens and responsibilities will come to you because the time of fulfillment of God's wish for an ideal world  is near.

The Family is the School of Love

"The Kingdom of Heaven is a world of love, a world that exists for the sake of God, where people live for the sake of God." 

"The family is an encapsulation of history. It is connected to history, with its origin in God. You inherit the family vertically. However, inheritance must take place in a perfectly vertical manner, at a ninety degree angle.

The grandfather and grandmother, representing God, have already inherited this." 

Your grandfather and grandmother are the encapsulation of your ancestors.  When you think about it, your grandfather is an heir to the traits and bloodline of all the different ancestors who lived at different times in history.  Then he is God's heir who, centered on God, connects us to that history.

The family unit encompasses all of human history.  It connects to history with its origin in God.

The grandfather and grandmother are representatives of the past, the bygone ages, and the mother and father represent the present age. The sons and daughters represent the future. 

Therefore, your grandfather and grandmother are the past, your mother and father are the present and the children are the future.  Then when it is our turn to have children we inherit the past, present and future and pass this down to another generation.  These three set of parents and three ancestors must connect their three loves and love the four generations.

The Fall represents God not being able to see or have a direct relationship with His grandson.

The Kingdom of Heaven starts from the family. 

How is this?  The grandfather represents God, the mother and father represent the present, and the sons and daughters are the future. In this way, the past, present, and future are all condensed in the family.

In the family, the grandfather represents God, the mother and father represent the present and the children the future.  In this way, the past, present and future are all in your family.

Thus, the mother and father represent the world, with the grandmother and grandfather in the position of the past God, the mother and father the present God and sons and daughter are in the position of the future God.

However, through true love, they are all equal.

When the central core is living for the sake of others in true love, they are able to develop a view of essential oneness and equal value.  When the four different directions meld into one, we will be able to live eternally as God's love partner based on this logic of true love because that place is eternally protected by the fortune of God's love.

What is the family? It is a training ground through which we can inhabit the ideal nation and world with love. Furthermore, it is a training ground through which we can even occupy the heavenly kingdom and God.

Wouldn't it be precious to experience the direct relationship with God as our love partner?  Right now only through the Messiah or aid of angels do we communicate with God, but we must return to the state of Adam and Eve before the Fall.

The reason we seek the truth is so we can perfect our families and feel infinite love and happiness when we are there.

If we have not given true love here on this plane, we will choke once we are in spirit world - they will not be able to breathe.  Only true love is the air.  We are to live our earthly life as a training ground that prepares us to breathe in the next world.

Your family is the textbook of love. 

When you see someone of your grandfather's age, you should think that you will love him even more than your own grandfather. 

When you are out in town and you come upon someone who is your grandfather's age, you should think to love him even more than your own grandfather.

The same with if you come upon someone who is the same age as your father or mother, you should welcome him or her whether he is black or white or of a different nationality.  When you see a young person, you should love and relate to them as if they are your own son or daughter.

Imagine a world full of men and women who think of others in this context.

What is the Kingdom of Heaven?

It is the place where you can love the people of the world as you love your family, and such people are the people of the heavenly kingdom. What do the four generations of your grandfather and grandmother, your mother and father, your wife, brothers and sisters, and your children make up? 

It is a place full of people who love strangers as if they were a member of their own family.  Such people are people of the heavenly kingdom.


There are four generations in your family. The grandfather/grandmother, your mother/father, your wife/husband, brother/sisters and your children.  What do they make up?

They make up your family which is a textbook how to relate to the people of the world with true love of the universe as a person of the heavenly kingdom.  This family textbook is the foundation in which you receive such a teaching.

God's love manifests itself in the things of creation. 

Parental love appears in children.  Also, where there's a husband, the wife's love will appear, just as when we can witness the parents' love by looking at their children or seeing the wife's love by looking at the state of her husband's clothes.

What about God?  We can see His love by looking at the things that He created in this world for His children you and me. 

God's love appears in order: First is parental love, next comes conjugal love, children's love and then the love of brothers and sisters.  This is also known as the Four-Position foundation centering on the love of God which creates the kingdom of heaven on earth.

If you only have love, then you can be friends with God and also have him as our Father.

There is a saying that earthly life is just a journey and we are just travelers.  During this journey, we should strive to experience vertical and horizontal love.  After creating a family based on the love of true parents, husband and wife, true brothers and sisters and true sons and daughters, we should expand this foundation on the horizontal plane throughout all families in all directions.  

Then this model of a true family should be expanded to the tribe, nation and world level.  Then this world of true love will connect to God and we call this the Kingdom of Heaven.

God's love opens the gate of salvation.

We must inherit God's true love, true life and true blood lineage which we lost due to the Fall.  We should know that there is no salvation of mankind without this inheritance.  

The worst of all sins is to break something and scatter the pieces in all different directions.  The worst and most hated of all enemies is one that has destroyed love.  There is no devil as bad as the one that causes children to despise their parents and destroys a couple's relationship keeping them from loving one another as husband and wife.

Because of the Fall of our first human ancestors, we first lost brother and sister's love, then conjugal love, then lastly children's love. Without restoring this lost love, we cannot enter the Kingdom of Heaven.

Due to the Fall we lost the four-position foundation: we first lost brother and sister love, then conjugal love, then lastly children's love. This four position begins in the family which we learn how to relate with the world centered on God.

Imagine going to the local cafe and being able to sit with any family of your chose which you never met before and speak to one another like brothers and sisters.  Without having true love as a possession, we will never be able to enter the Heavenly Kingdom.

We must still prepare for this day even if it comes ten thousand years from now.

Since God is the original substance of true love, when we are connected to true love, we all become one. The parents represent God as a living God in their own right. 

Since God is the origin of true love, if we all possess true love then we are connected and become one.  The parents represent God as a living God in their own right representing one aspect of God's divided nature.  The son's and daughters are seen as an additional God.

This family unit built by three generations through true love is the foundation to build the Kingdom of Heaven on earth.

If we do not establish this true standard within the context of the family, we will never realize the Kingdom of Heaven and go beyond Paradise.

The family is the center of the universe.

The perfection of the universe depends on the perfection of the family.  Then, if you love in the universe just as you love in the family, you will be able to travel freely anywhere in the universe.   God, in this case, stands at the center of all love as the parents of the entire universe.  This is the formula for the family.

The basis for an original, God-centered family includes all the love of men, women, sons, daughters, parents and God.

When you love your parents, your husband and your sons and daughters in this place of unity, it will be like living in the heavenly kingdom.  So where does this heavenly Kingdom start?

It starts in every family. It does not magically unfold somewhere else.  The heavenly kingdom is just the 3-D expansion of the family.

It is not outside the family.

When you think of embracing your spouse, you should think that you are a man and a woman becoming one on behalf of the world.

The family is the place where you substantiate your love for humankind through action. 

We should have respect for our own flesh and blood and respect our parents and grandparents as the owners of our house who represent the heavenly right of kingship.  But we despise them because they are old.

There is the old saying the "generation gap" that has created a division between the different generations of the family.  Did God invent such a word?  No, Satan created this word.  Can love dwell in this phrase "generation gap"?

Do we live the way people lived within a family a thousand years ago?  Was there a different way to love then?  The ways are the same and the means of loving are the same.  What has changed are the inner aspects.

If we had not Fallen, the formula for love would have remained unchanged for a hundred million years.  Even if Heaven turns upside down as long as the three generations of grandparents, parents and children strongly unite the same as an iron fortress, then they will be able to bring about the heavenly kingdom anywhere they go.

The fundamental source for the seed of God's love and the seed of life is this lineage. 

If we cannot establish this, then there will be no hope for the heavenly kingdom on earth, the heavenly kingdom of peace or the world of happiness and freedom.

We talk about paradise or the heavenly kingdom, but it is not a place you can go alone. How much peace can you have if your husband is in hell and you are in paradise?

If you have seen the movie "What Dreams May Come", you see it illustrates this very point of a husband who went to hell to bring his suicidal wife to heaven and all of his children back together to live forever.

The Kingdom of Heaven is a place where you go together with your parents, brothers and sisters - your family.  First we learn how to live united in love on this horizontal plane.

What is the heavenly kingdom? You talk about going to paradise or the heavenly kingdom, but you cannot go alone. The Kingdom of Heaven is a place where you must go together with your parents and brothers and sisters.

World Problems Began w/ Families

If a wife, as she lives supporting her husband, gains deep insights into the truth, and is continuously moved and inspired by his life and character, this is an occurrence which should be revealed to the world.

Why?

Because the fundamental reason for this world becoming an evil world full of rampant sexual freedoms, criminal activity, conflicts and corruption is the breakdown and disharmony in the basic relationship between husband, wife which is then multiplied through the children.

At present, there are almost 7 billion people living on the earth, but if we look at it in another way, only two people are living here. We could say that a man and a woman, a husband and a wife, only two people, are living on earth. Countless numbers of people are living together and there are all kinds of relationships and problems, but at the core of all of those problems are the problems and relationships between two people, a man and a woman.

When we look at things in this light, it becomes important for us to investigate the way of heaven that man and woman were to go when God created the first ancestors. In Genesis, it is recorded that after God had created the heavens and the earth, He created the ancestors of humankind: a man, Adam, and a woman, Eve. This happened at the same time that He endowed them the three great blessings, and He gave them a portion of responsibility.

The three great blessings were: "Be fruitful and multiply; fill the earth and subdue it; and have dominion over the fish of the sea, over the birds of the air, and over every living thing...." But to the man and woman He also gave the responsibility: ". . . but of the tree of the knowledge of good and evil you shall not eat. . ." This teaches us the purpose for which God created the universe and humanity, and also shows us the basis for life.


The blessing to be fruitful means that all people born on the earth must grow to be people of perfected character. The second blessing of life, to multiply, means that, as a man and a woman with a perfected character, they must establish the bond of perfected husband and perfected wife, give birth to True children, and raise them. This means that we have not inherited truly the first blessing.

What happened instead was that humanity began from two people who were not perfected, and multiplied their mistake in the Garden through the production of children who are born with a spirit that is immature.  This is exampled through all humanity being born in sin.  Sin was spread through an illicit relationship outside of the realm of God, and between one man, and one woman.

This is the beginning of humanity's misery, thus multiplied through their children, Cain and Abel through the first physical murder on earth.


God's Purpose of Creating Humanity

God's purpose of creation is, as a husband and wife fulfilling their duty as father and mother leading a family, they should construct a far more comfortable, prosperous world and establish the Kingdom of Heaven on earth.

This purpose of creation was to be realized if the first ancestors had obeyed God's commandment, ". . . but of the tree of the knowledge of good and evil you shall not eat...." But before the first ancestors, Adam and Eve, were perfect, while they were still immature, they did not keep God's commandment; because of Satan, they fell, and all humanity became the recipients of an evil blood lineage.

Due to the Immoral Fall of the Original Human Ancestors, Humankind Has Lost the Purpose of Creation

Ladies! What is the fruit of the tree of knowledge of good and evil that God told the original ancestors, Adam and Eve, not to eat? It is not the real fruit of a forest tree. It is a way of expressing the husband and wife love relationship that the first ancestors were to have in the future after their maturity.

Due to the temptation of a third being, while still in an imperfect state, the first man and woman entered into an immoral sexual relationship. Actually, in the Garden of Eden, the third party besides Adam and Eve was the archangel. In the Bible, it is revealed that Lucifer was the archangel who tempted Eve and committed an immoral sexual sin. This was the fall of man, the original sin which planted the root of sin in the world.

Man committed the sexual sin before his Father God, the Lord and Master of heaven and earth, and the first ancestors had children out of this immoral love; and the world of evil was realized. In other words, they married centered on Satan and by planting false love, false life and a false lineage they became ancestors of evil.

As human society expanded from the individual, family, tribe, race, and nation to the world level, due to this immoral relationship between man and woman, the root of the evil blood lineage was established everywhere, at all times, and this world became hell on earth: it became a false world filled with sin, war and fear. The fallen ancestors, Adam and Eve, should have established the position of True Parents as the eternal good ancestors of humanity, but they fell to become false parents leaving a blood lineage of evil.

This is the first cause of all the tragedy and misery of humankind. What could be more tragic or cause greater indignation than becoming the descendants of false parents and all humankind losing their True Parents?

And how great must be the suffering and sorrow of God, the Father of humanity, whose purpose of creation, to establish the true ancestors of humankind and to multiply people of goodness, was stolen by the blood lineage of sin through the immoral fall of the first human ancestors. Just as the cause of a disease must be discovered and treated in order to save a person suffering from it, in order to liberate human society from the suffering of such sin and misery, the fundamental cause of this sin and misery must be revealed and corrected.

The fundamental cause is the fall of the human ancestors, the original sin. Accordingly, unless the cause of the disease called original sin is eliminated, we cannot pull up the root of misery and sin from the world. No matter how many great men, heroes, scholars, politicians or philosophers appear and try to straighten out the world through the reform of the laws and systems or through the education of moral principles, unless the original sin and the content of the fall is clarified, it will be impossible. All remedies will prove useless. That is because the original root of sin and misery is still alive, and it will continue to sprout buds.

The Role of Religion:
The Salvation of Humankind from Evil

Religion teaches the fact that man fell, it reveals the contents of the fall, and directly and indirectly shows God's providence through which He seeks to save man completely from sin. Therefore all religions are the most active prescriptions for saving the sinful world. Religion is the foundation of all education or teachings.

The teachings of the four great saints Confucius, Buddha, Jesus and Muhammad and the teachings of the founders of other religions transcended their ages and locations, and have preserved the conscience and morals of humanity.  They have been the generative powers of cultural development. Accordingly, all religions seeking to liquidate the world of evil and to establish the ideal world which God and people desire are co-workers and collaborators.

Among them, the scriptures through which God most directly revealed His providence of salvation is the Bible. Through the Bible we can know that the ancestors of humanity, Adam and Eve, committed the original sin and became false parents, and that God's work in the providence of salvation is to restore the lost purpose of creation.

The main point of the message of the Bible is that in order to give rebirth to all, the Messiah or the True Parents must come in place of Adam and Eve who became false parents. Adam should have become the true father, and Eve should have become the true mother; that was the purpose of the original creation. In order to restore the purpose of creation back to its original state, God cannot help but carry out the providence for the recreation of Adam.

That is the main point of the providence of preparing the chosen nation of Israel and having Jesus born there. From the time Adam and Eve fell and humanity multiplied with its blood lineage centered on Satan, God immediately began working to separate the blood lineages of goodness and evil. From Adam's family, God separated the second son, Abel, who was in a position to relate to God, and the first son, Cain, was in a position to relate to Satan. God sought to restore the order of the creation to its original state by having Cain yield to Abel of his own accord. Just as Lucifer the servant was to yield to Adam even though he was the eldest before them. 

Instead, Lucifer reversed dominion and dominated Adam and Eve, and Cain repeated this mistake through the murder of his younger brother.

Through Cain's murder of Abel, the history of struggle to separate good and evil was extended all the way to the time of the Second Advent.

Finally, we must endeavor to learn and practice the duty of the True Parents, the true spouse and the true child. Through the organization of the Family Federation for World Peace, we must make sure that immorality and corruption will not be able to set foot anywhere in this world. In this way, humankind must cleanse the evil blood lineage and suffering which was caused by the original sin of fornication committed in the Garden of Eden. This has lasted until this era, and humanity must quickly prepare to meet the new world.

Until now everyone has been helpless to stop the wantonness and immorality which has been destroying humankind. But now a new truth which can completely solve these problems has appeared in Korea in the very age in which we are living. The truth which was revealed by the True Parents will be the light which will bring about the unification of North and South Korea, and build a world of peace and happiness.

Let us learn this new truth given through the Divine Principle and rise up and become women soldiers who will end this world of sin, which has caused us to suffer since the beginning of history.
