What Makes One a Messiah?

If a non-believer was to ask you this question, would you be able to answer it clear enough without a lot of relgious jargon?  How about giving a satisfactory answer to why humanity needs a Messiah from your heart?  How do you answer such a question?

What is a Messiah's purpose?

There are several Messiahs by definition for each religious sect.  A person who comes to save for that specific realm of belief, correct?

Why do we need a Messiah?  To bring us bakc to the point connecting to God's love.

In short, a Messiah is connected to God at a higher level and connects us directly to God's love.

Humanity who has inherited satanic blood needs to go back to that point.

 

 

The blood lineage of fallen people is disconnected from God's love.

We must indemnify this fallen blood and return to God's pure blood such as Jesus.

The original sin of lust or love outside of God must be removed from humanity completely.  But how do we go through the process of removing the fallen blood?

We cannot do it on our own. Even though we try to bring peace to the earth, we need a Messiah to connect us to God in order to begin that process.

The Messiah makes conditions where humanity can go back to God.

Therefore, since this has been God's strategy throughout the ages, He set up champions from the eivl world.

To understand God's process of bringing the world back to its original position, we must look in history from God's point of view.

Let's start with the first family that God created.

This family consisted of a man Abel, who served God as His first champion after the first parents fell away from God.

Abel was the first man to give up his life for God's purpose.  He had to reject and separate himself from Satan in order to go back to the bosom God by fighting and defeating Satan.

He had to be different from his fallen brother as the first position to receive God's love.




There are three stages are the important formula: the one who is willing to save the world must fight against Satan and win the victory over him; then he or she must come into the love of God; and then, feeling the heart of God and fallen people, he or she must be willing to sacrifice him or herself in place of the fallen people. Only on that condition can the fallen people be taken back.




When Cain's offering was denied by God, Abel should have come into the love of God and through feeling and experiencing God's grief and his brother's grief he should have sacrificed himself in Cain's place.

This sacrifice was not supposed to happen through the shedding of his blood through death, but as a living sacrifice so that God could work through him.

Instead, Abel was arrogant and not compassionate toward Cain who represented the fallen, satanic blood lineage and was thus killed by his brother.

God then worked through His champion Noah who accomplished a very unusual mission. 

God directed Noah to go to the top of a mountain and build a boat.  This is awkward even in our day.  Common sense would say to build a ship near the water in a shipyard.   Who could in our day and age accept this mission or obey such a command without having any doubt?

Even in Noah's time no one could believe that this kind of command came from God. 

Still, Noah went up and down that mountain working on his boat.

To think of it more on a human terms, Noah's wife must have packed his lunch everyday and struggled with how she and her family appeared to everyone.

But God works in such 'odd' ways for a reason --- because of evil.

 

 

 

God cannot dwell together with evil.

The direction of God is 180 degrees contrary to the direction of evil.

God abhors evil!

He does not accept the things that the evil world accepts and does not want to have anything to do with the evil world or anything that is tainted by evil.

Even we do not even want to look at our enemy; God also does not want to have nothing to do with the evil, satanic world.  Therefore, when he gives commands to his champion, He chooses ways that seem incomprehensible to humans.

God test our faith and cannot do so by doing so in a comfortable way to His people.  Therefore, it is important that we are willing to comply with God's extraordinary instructions when He asks.f

This is an easy task.

People of faith see Noah's actions as glorious, but in his time, they thought he was a crazy man for building an ark away from water.  Nobody could see that he was the central position in God's providence - a messiah of his time.

Let's take a moment with Abraham.

He did not come from a religious house, but from one who made idols for a living.  He had to separate himself from his evil surrounding and leave his homeland in order to be God's champion.  That was God's command.

If Abraham discussed his descion to follow God's direction, as an idolmaker, he would have thought his son was crazy.

God instructed him to journey away from his homeland. This was a lonely journey.  He had to wander like a gypsy and give up everything.






The champions of God have one characteristic in common: They begin their missions by denial of themselves and their surroundings.





Always we find that their life in this world was lonely because they suffered many, many things and. were persecuted by this world. When they had nobody to convey their thoughts and feelings to, they could go only to God and talk to Him.

Also, when we look at their lives in the world, their material lives-they were so narrowed down, received so few material things; naturally, they turned their hearts and lives toward God. When we think of how they were living in this world, their scope of consciousness was so narrowed down that they had to cognize everything centered on God. That was their life.

They naturally had the task to live centered on the oneness of God in every area - recreation with other, knowledge and cognition.  They plunged deeply in their relationship with God and relied purely on Him.

They did not have anyone on earth to rely on.  The reality of this fallen world was seen as narrow to them where they needed to build an opening for God by relying on heaven.

 

Even if a narrow detour must be taken to God we as God's champion, are not supposed to be depressed.

There is a way out.

We should not be discontented.  All things were created for the purpose of happiness and satisfaction and contentment.

From this narrow point where the evil world and God meet is the new relationship between God and ourselves begin to open.

For example, St. Francis emphasized pure poverty, a nothingness in which he could find happiness, appreciation, contentment, and satisfaction. From that point on, God could move and let him feel happiness and joy.

True oneness with God was created from that point.  We have to realize that we are fallen people with the blood of satan pumping through us. We stand on the center of two lines between the evil world and God's side.

 

We have to know when to narrow down, so we will know when the new era of happiness and joy will begin.

Let's examine this line throught the life of Jesus Christ himself.


The Bible has scanty details of his life. It doesn't even say he went to elementary school.  He was a laborer, an assistant carpenter.


Reverend Sun Myung Moon speaks on this fact:

"There is so much to know, so many hidden truths within the Bible which are not written explicitly. If I revealed some of those secrets I am sure you would be amazed. Even though I know these things, I could not tell you those stories lightly.

For you then would ask, "How do you know such things?"

I learned them from Jesus. Yes, and I learned from God. Remember, at the time of Noah nobody could believe Noah. At the time of Abraham, nobody could believe Abraham. By the same token, even though I will honestly tell you what actually happened at the time of Jesus, no one will easily believe me.

 

Who is the Messiah?

The Messiah is completely united with the heart of God, like a direct import to earth from heaven. When God sent Jesus to be the Messiah, did He just take him as a baby and place Him on earth, or did He at least have to utilize the body of a woman for him to be born?

We must think on a human point of reality when we look at Jesus.  He was born of Mary.  Since she was a human, she was born of parents.

She must have been a descendant of the fallen lineage so how could she have a child with the blood of God pumping through him?

Q. How do we know Jesus Christ is truly the Son of God?

When we look in other religions and do a comparison, we see that Mohammed, Confucius and Buddha had many more followers than Jesus did in his time. So what makes Jesus so special?

Jesus is the Son of God because he came from the heavenly lineage whereas the above founders did not.

Based on the foundation of Jacob and Esau successfully fulfilling the indemnity condition of Cain and Abel's mistake God prepared another step to be able to bring about a Godly lineage to protect His childre from the womb.

This providence was sealed within the next three generations of Jacob's descendants. It is recorded in Genesis chapter 38.

Adam and Eve fell through fornication, and Tamar was one example of how God frequently used women of most unusual character in restoration.

Judah was the fourth son of Jacob, and Judah's first son married a woman whose name was Tamar. According to the Law, if a son died without leaving sons, his brother must act as a husband to the dead brother's wife so that the dead brother's lineage would be continued. Tamar did not have children when her husband died, and when the next brother refused to fulfill his responsibility, he also died.

Tamar saw that through the third brother as well, she had no hope to bear children.

She knew that her mission was to continue the family of her husband and Judah, his father, and she finally decided to sacrifice even her honor in order to fulfill. Disguising herself as a prostitute, Tamar enticed her father-in-law to have a relationship with her. Without knowing she was his daughter-in-law Judah consented. At that time adultery was punished by death. In order to save her life for the sake of her child, Tamar asked Judah for his signet and staff as a pledge for payment, and then confiscated them.

Three months later when it became obvious that the widow Tamar was pregnant, she was brought before Judah to be judged. You can imagine Judah's horror, "Bring her out, and let her be burned!" But she answered, "By the man to who these belong, I am with child," and she brought out the things that Judah had given her in his pledge.

 Why would God use adulterous women in the dispensation?


God selected His champions from the most miserable situations. Tamar was a righteous woman, and though she was placed in a sinful position, she completely dedicated herself to God's mission, risking her life, honor, and prestige. Paralleling the way Eve lied to God and her husband-to-be in the process of the fall, Tamar deceived her father-in-law and her husband-to-be, Judah's third son.

She reversed the position of Eve by reversing Eve's actions, and the significant thing is that she risked her life in doing it, just as Eve did in falling at the cost of her life. Thus, God could have a claim on Tamar's womb-on the very life emerging in that womb.

Tamar conceived twins, and the struggle of Cain and Abel began within her very womb.

The Bible records how Rebecca's twins also struggled within their mother's womb. Rebecca prayed to God to understand what was happening, and the Lord answered her, saying, "Two nations are in your womb, and two peoples, born to you, shall be divided; the one shall be stronger than the other, and the elder shall serve the younger." Ultimately Jacob did gain the birthright from his elder brother, Esau.
When the time came for Tamar's children to be delivered, the struggle ensued directly within her womb. The first child started to come out and the midwife tied a red thread around his wrist. That sign foreshadowed the emergence of communism in the last days.

Esau was also named "Edom," which means "red." (Gen. 25:30) However, before the first child could be born there was a struggle, and the younger brother pulled the other back inside the womb and was himself born first. That son was named Perez, and the other named Zerah.

The result of this struggle is that for the first time the restoration of Cain and Abel took place inside the mother's womb, the younger brother having subjugated his elder brother even prior to birth. Tamar's extraordinary action cleansed Judah's lineage and rendered it intact from satanic invasion from the time of conception.

Through this victory at the time of Tamar and also Jacob's earlier victory, God could claim a foundation that spanned the entire human life-span. Jesus was born in the lineage of Judah, and Satan had no way to invade his life in the womb because the cleansing process was already completed.

Jesus came years after the dispensation of Jacob and Tamar because God had to wait for Israel's national foundation to be established. The conditions were fulfilled on the family level at the time of Jacob, Tamar and Judah, but God needed to create a foundation to receive the Messiah within a nation, that he might be received on the national and international levels as easily as possible.

Attend the Messiah to Liberate Your Sin

Liberation of your forefathers will take place in proportion to your efforts.

We have entered the era where the unification of North and South Korea is possible.

Everything is possible.

Now, there is a welcoming environment in which heaven's law can work.

You should feel mortally ashamed if you are unable to witness your tribe in such an environment toward the heart of God. 

History is a course seeking the truth. 

The truth should show the true path of the true individual and a true family should live.

How a true society, a true nation and a true world should establish.

Therefore, the perfection of the world, nation, tribe and family and the individual is possible when the focus from the individual  level to the world level is one.

The person who brings these logical key words, the truth, is the True Parent.

The truth is God's true love.
Now, people of the world must listen and pay attention to this truth.

The teachings of Rev. Moon is the truth for the salvation of the world.  They are humanity's words of true love and life which are needed for eternity.

If the Savior comes to save the world, then he should not come to judge humanity with a rod of a real iron in the real sense.

Not even one person would give in by being hit by the messiah to submit to God.

The sacrificial love of a mother, with hands as tough as a toad's back, whose fingers are so bent from working hard for her children they cannot be straightened out, can have the power to make the disobedient child repent and come back to the right path.

Even though God is the mighty king of judgment who leads heaven and earth according to His will, the cosmic unification is impossible without true love.

In other words, we are living in the time where we can bring about humanity to God through love - not through war, fight or force.

Difficulties are not an obstacle in true love. 

While in true love, there is the vigor to go forward at the sacrifice of one's own life.

We fail if the people can say, "In that church, the words are good, but the people are bad."


Did I give you only words? No, I did not just speak. I have done all the things that I am teaching you now. Therefore, there should be no doubt about them. I am teaching by creating a system of thought that is free of inconsistency and contradiction in both its intellectual and the practical aspects. No one can say anything about that. Both Satan and God approve of it.



God is calling us with His words.

Therefore, we must go according to His words.  What is the way that True Parents and true children can meet each other?

It is through true words.  Those words are my words.  You cannot be children without knowing Father's words.

My words are absolute and true. You won't feel tired even if you listen to the same words for a thousand or ten thousand years. You'll never get tired of them. We must search for such words.


Just finding words is not logical enough.  It is a dominant principle that can give life even after one hears them again and again for eternity.

You must seek such words and live such a way.

The words of the True Parents are eternal and transcend time and space.

Therefore, God's words transcend history.

These words transcend time periods, principles, and ideologies.  They are more precious than the words of others.

These words whether you listen to them at night or during the day or read them at night, flow into your heart endlessly.  You must seek these words.

What is my bitter sorrow?


I failed to fulfill my duty as a filial son; I should have cried  and pleaded with my parents to join the Unification Church. I am trying to resolve this through you. I could not even witness to my family. There were eight brothers and sisters, but I could not say one word of the Divine Principle. My older brother obeyed me completely whenever I said something. I have restored Cain completely. If I told him to sell the house, he sold the house, and if I told him to sell the cow, he sold the cow. My mother and father could not be like him. To that older brother, I could not speak about the Divine Principle once.

From now on, don't keep quiet.

When people gather around, try teaching for seven years as I taught you for seven years in the 1950s, without sleeping more than two hours a night. You don't have to do this for seven years. It won't take four years, either. It will all be done within four months. When I return to my homeland, I will unite it in an instant. Therefore, you must teach your parents well.


Also, teach your brothers and sisters the true significance of these words.

Through your own blood sweat and tears, you should teach this yourself without the help of others.

Then you will become the precious uncles, younger siblings, older sisters, and sons and nieces and nephews who follow the model of the sincere attitude you have when you are teaching.

You must confidently proclaim these words from now on.

From this moment, you must proclaim the Principle to your neighborhood for eight hours or however many hours a day, even staying up through the night as I have done for seven years. You must do so. It won't take seven years; it will probably be restored in seven months. When this happens, I may load up a truck and come and see you. I am sure your families will invite and welcome me.



Father made the national leader, Mr. Eu lecture for sixteen hours a day for three and a half years.

When Mr. Eu was tired, Father felt his heartache when he would tell him, "Who are you trying to kill by lying down?  You lay down without even asking me?"

Why did they live in such a way?  They lived that way in order to establish a tradition.

Organize Reading of God's Words/Hoon Dok Hae

Words of the Messiah's speeches, which this blog is based upon, can be considered Hoon dok hae or reading of God's words. Reading The Divine Principle or various books by Reverend Sun Myung Moon has the same spiritual effect.

Why?

Father's words are never spoken directly by him, but they are words spoken by God through him.

Your hearts will be moved no matter where or when you hear these words.  There will be a great revolution within your body, when the heart is inspired.  There is such a power in those words.

Whenever there is a meeting, this is an opportunity for studying.  Whenever you find that you have time, this is a time for studying the word.

You should continue to read material hundreds and thousands of times until it becomes yours and you can embody its substance. 

Our members will become sick if they are inactive.

In order not to become sick, you must read hard, be tested and put forth the effort.

In other words, don't just read the word, but become the embodiment and put them into practice and spread it to others.

True Parents are the ancestor of words, character and heart.

Hoon Dok Hae, the reading of God's word,  is the treasure chest that I stored up under all sorts of hardships and deprivations and that I have opened up to the people. I have told everyone not to translate it; it cannot be translated. You should do Hoon Dok Hae until I say otherwise. You must know that. You should do Hoon Dok Hae whenever time permits. You should always keep a speech book in your pocket and do Hoon Dok Hae even when you are alone, even in the bathroom, and keep a record of the part you have read, even if it was for a couple of hours a day.

You should read the Divine Principle, but you should also read Blessing and Ideal Family and all the other major speeches because they are the records of victory over the satanic world.

We should become one with these speeches which include all past battles of the True Parents up to the present point.

By uniting with and following these contents, you will become one with True Parents.

These speeches and posts should take root in yourself, in you family up to seven generation, and then 160 or 180 families horizontally, all united together.

Between husband and wives in the Blessed Families, Hoon Dok Hae should be done for one hour every morning. If you cannot do it in the morning, then you should do it in the evening before midnight or 1 am.

Father has done Hoon Do Hae every day.

When he had to do a tour in South America, even though he was tired, he still did Hoon Dok Hae, even after midnight.  He did not miss even one day.

Therefore, he instructs us, too, to try to read it every day without fail.  Since he has built the super highway road to restoration to bring a world of peace, we should be able to become cars filled with gas and go at the maximum speed.

Talk about the contents of the Divine Principle until it makes you sick to even think about it.

When you keep going until you get sick of it, you will find that it is very interesting and exciting.

You should clearly know that sermons have the ability to create. 

Because God is with you, then your heart will influence the people directly.

Do you understand?

Father did not even speak the deepest contents in those speeches and he is unable to express them now.

You must understand how precious these words are that are held captive in text with the source of life within them.

This source of life is flowing away.

It is our responsibility to find a way to have this eternal water of life, finding a way to connect the water pipe to this source.

 But what have you done?

Are all of those books something that you can just sell to an antique book shop?

The contents of these words hold a greater value.

How to Prepare to Go to Heaven

The closer we are to the truth, and the more we come under its spell, the more it will become our center which nobody can snatch from us.

If people's minds are securely centered on the truth, no matter if the earth were to fall into chaos millions of times and the universe was destroyed, they will never be changed or shaken.

On the other hand, if you are not prepared to accept such a central truth in your heart, however genuine the truth may appear, you would not recognize it when it comes to you.

Even if true love appeared, you would not be able to understand it because it did not come alive in your heart.

The stronghold of heaven

If Christianity wants to become a religion that establishes the mind's center that nobody can make fall and seek a genuine truth of life and love, then it must completely deny itself to the end.

Religion must deny itself to discover new truths and pathways.  Make sacrifices.

When mankind were discovering new continents, it seemed as if the continent was constantly expanding.

Now, as every facet on earth has been discovered and partially destroyed, it is as if the earth is shrinking day by day.

In other words, as civilization was still developing, the world seemed huge, but as history and civilization expanded, the world seemed to gradually shrink.

In that regard, you can know the ideal world, realized through history of truth.  It will become the universal era where everything in creation forms direct ties with humanity.

What standard should we as citizens of heaven follow?

Our love and life of the Kingdom of Heaven should follow truth.  Our life and the truth should follow love, and likewise, love and truth should necessarily follow life because truth, life and love are like a family. They are inseparable.

These must bear good fruit within us.

Why are truth, love and life connected to one another this way?

For something to exist there should be an above and below front and back, and right and left, centering on existing things.

No part of creation can escape the realm of number three, which is the fundamental form of existence.  The three growth stages are:  formation stage, growing stage and completion stage.

Love, life and truth get together and make an unified form.

However, if a force proceeds in the reverse direction, then an action of force different from the original one occurs.

God is the origin of love, life, and truth. 

After we did not follow God's original formula, we have been unable to form a triangle that holds love, life and truth in equal balance.

Thus, God could not fulfill His will through us.

Jesus' disciples thought that Jesus would just automatically dominate the Roman Empire with his truth and become King of Israel, and they would hold high positions.

But we have to first make a foundation for God's Kingdom within our mind.

Then centering on the good mind, we should make a foundation for unity between our body and God.

This is the foremost issue.

The Kingdom of Heaven begins from within us. 

Our mind is its stronghold.

Where is God's stronghold?

Many people of faiths say that they just believe in Jesus and will just automatically go to heaven.  Where is that stronghold?

When Peter asked where the Kingdom of Heaven was, Jesus answered, "It's not in heaven, but in your heart." Where is that stronghold located?

Can it be formed from a sadden or hateful heart?  Or a selfish, arrogant mind, or a mind that denies society and lives only for self?

These are not the kind of content we desire, or the kind of Kingdom which God can approve.  If you seek the stronghold of God's Kingdom, you must meet with solitude more than anyone else on earth.

Why?

God is solitary, the too must be solitary.

When serving the church we must be determined to bear the responsibility of solving the problems of sin and evil in this world.

If we are unable to have a single direction of determination to bear that responsibility, then the stronghold of heaven cannot exist.

People mistakenly are confident that just because they are conscientious and hold a respectable social position that they exhibit the beginning of Heaven from such a mind.

But unless one is perfected, he still holds evil within him.  How can heaven and hell dwell in the same place?

This thinking is based on the understanding that good and evil begin together.  Yet, these dual qualities cannot begin together.

When evil goes east, we good must go west, and when evil moves, good has to stop.

Moreover, when evil has a desire, good must not have that same want.

Good and evil are opposite.

In God's original world, Heaven was a place we would reach automatically centered on a life with Him.  But we started our search for the heavenly nation where God lost all His hope in the world of humankind after we had abandoned Him.

Therefore, people who are satisfied with their present fallen lives, cannot be truly religious people.

You should not be attached to your satanic habits, and lifestyle, but instead you must proceed to seek new values, deny even your life when confronted by intersecting fortunes of life and death that can cause you to sink into despair.

By proceeding in this manner, then the way of true goodness can start from here.

When we see the way for true restoration or salvation, are there people who can therefore confidently say that their character is the stronghold of heaven?

Have you met a religious leader or person who was the pillar of standard for the way to heaven?

There is no one who would claim that God would recognize their family for living in their satanic, habitual lifestyles while in a comfortable environment.

There is no tribe that exists that God can recognize their achievements.  There are no races, nations, ideologies or philosophies that can demand God's recognition.

When you truly look at God's situation of bringing the world of peace to fruition with no family, tribe or nation from which to work, you are probably dumbfounded.

Those who work to protect themselves from the evil world for more than a millennium can dream such a dream, and only those who gratefully sacrifice themselves for more than ten thousand years can find hope to live for ten thousand years.


If there are those who cry out to see such an eternal Kingdom of Heaven, eternal life and eternal happiness must be able to overcome the current situation with eternity as their main focus of all activities.

They must endure the present circumstances, sacrificing themselves.  Only from such a standpoint can the eternal stronghold emerge.

The standard for going to heaven

Without setting a standard of loving God, we cannot free ourselves from the satanic realm.

Thus, we must love Him with all of our heart more than our spouse.

We are trapped within the snares of false love within the satanic realm.

Fallen people must emerge as far as the edge of that hellish realm and come out of it completely.

Hence, we cannot love our parents more than God.

What kind of people enter Heaven?

They are people whose mind are in harmony with God.  To what extent?

Our mind must be in harmony with His for eternity as He works toward the eternal ideal based on His eternal purpose.

Therefore, our minds must eternally be in harmony with the eternal God.

What must we do to achieve this high standard?

We must become children who can be liked by God and who like God.  Therefore, we would not be children of sadness or regret.

Next, we must walk in step with God's body.  here, 'body' means direction.

The body is manifested through the direction it takes.

In order to become children who walk in step with God's ideal, when He goes east, we must go east with Him.

If God liked something warm, but Jesus liked something cold, would this be a right relationship between Father and son?

If He wanted to laugh and talk, and Jesus wanted to sleep, would this feel right?

Everything manifested through the external body must be in step with God.

Would everything be fine with just that?  No.

If God is amiable, He would not be hot-tempered at the same time.  Therefore, if God is amiable, we should be amiable, not angry.

The internal and external must match.

Would this attitude alone make everything work out?

Next, we must do things which are in line with God's will.

For that to happen, can there be things we are reluctant to do which God would want us to accomplish?

Can there be things that our bodies detest that are good for us?

We must do things that both our good mind and body like to do.  As God exists, there must be things that He likes.  Also, as Jesus is God's Son, he also has to like such things.

We can never go to heaven without sacrificing our fallen, humanistic lives.

This is how it is with the essence of faith, if you were to go to spirit world you would see whether this was true or not.

The starting point of the Kingdom of Heaven

Where does the Kingdom of Heaven begin?

If we are not able to dissolve God's anguish at losing His children, how can we enter heaven with a peaceful heart knowing how the Father suffers?

Since humanity has woven a history of sorrow since the Fall, we must restore all of its ties from the sinful lineage to the Godly pure lineage without the trace of the Fall.

All of the six millennia, since Adam and Eve have to be restored to the point before the Fall.

Secular people dislike sorrow and run away from it, but we are taught about God's sorrow which is more miserable than any other sorrowful situation we have encountered.

If something tragic happened in the world, most people would avoid it and run away from it.

But our motto is to go through such places of sorrow and restore it to the Kingdom of Heaven.

The more that we understand God's sorrow and misery, the stronger the force that actually emerges to dissolve His anguish.  That force becomes the motive of unlimited explosive action.

That great force is the foundation of the Messiah.

The essence of the Kingdom of Heaven

What kind of world will the Kingdom of Heaven be?

Since it is the original world of creation, then individuals, families and tribes who are still attached to the fallen, satanic bloodline still accused by Satan cannot go there.

In order to enter heaven, these three levels must become one - three generations become one.

In Adam's family, Adam was the first generation, Cain and Abel the second and their children the third.  From God's standpoint, God was the first generation, Adam and Eve the second, and Cain and Abel, the third.

As heaven is a world of living for others, we must go forth making that notion our first consideration.

Those who have the idea that others serve them will be destroyed.

Heaven is the world filled with God's love. 

Love's essence is not to be served, but rather live for the sake of all.

Thus, heaven differs from the lower standard of the secular world.  This religious teaching of living for the sake of others, which is being absolutely obedient, sacrificing self and serving does not exist in the selfish, secular world.

To serve others are perceived as beggars who know nothing of this world.

Yet, this was God's secret strategy against Satan so that people could still be blessed even if they were ignorant of heaven's laws.

The framework of the Kingdom of Heaven

We have not restored the original homeland.

We lost our original hometown, by which means God's Kingdom on earth.

When we speak of God's Kingdom, we are referring to the realm which is on earth and that which is in heaven.

There are three major elements required to establish a nation: first sovereignty, next territory, and then citizenry.

Yet, God has not been able to establish a sovereignty over which he can govern.  He has no people whom He can govern.  This amounts to not having a homeland where to rest.

We live in a world that is not the world which God's original people should live.

Creation or Evolution?

The greatest question or debate in the scientific world today is whether the universe is the result of evolution or created by someone's will.  People want to know what is the purpose of life and whether they evolved through random mutation haphazardly.

Then, if evolution is true, who determines its direction?

Evolution heads towards a higher state of development. Does each element determine its own goal?

Does each being know where it is going to advance next? Evolution needs the input of new energy to develop into a higher state. How does the process of evolution obtain its energy?

Today's science is totally deadlocked in this area. Even if the level of development is different, all things-grass, rocks, trees, etc. aspire in some way to be like God, who exists in dual essentialities.

All the things of creation focus on one center and are concentrated into one microcosm-human beings. All the elements of the entire universe were assembled and compacted into one little shape: a human being.

Each smaller plus and minus combines into bigger elements, forming higher and greater existences. The basic qualification for being absorbed or harmonized by a higher being is absolute internal harmony and balance between plus and minus. A harmonized plus and minus resembles God, who is perfect harmony.

The Principle states that wherever a perfect plus exists, it will automatically attract a perfect minus.

When a greater plus appears, the smaller minus becomes a greater minus in order to become worthy of complementing the greater plus.

The minus thus grows to create balance.  Suppose the minus is not large enough to balance a very large plus, how will it create balance?  Balance is created through another small minus, and with it will grow in stature.

Evolution is a theory that is an external observation of internal processes within creation.  It analyzes phenomena after the fact, but it cannot show internally that there is always a will and a goal at work.  Through give and take action, a new higher being is created.

All the elements of the universe revolve around God.

Even in our own body, one cell does not remain in one organ, but it circulates all over the body, from toe to brain.

Blood is a harmonizer.  It travels throughout the body and blends with all its elements.  Also, the nerves bring all the cells and organs into harmony.

We can compare the process of spiritual growth to the educational process.  We start in life as a little being who wants to become higher and larger since we want to resemble God, who is the highest being of all.

Children go through elementary school, but they are not satisfied with just that level.

They want to continue through high school and perhaps go to college and graduate school.

When he finally gets his Ph.D., he might turn around and put down his 'lower-level' education and say it was a waste of time.  He wouldn't be able to do this because his experiences at the earlier levels, formed  the foundation for his Ph.D. work.  They harmonious with the higher education.

From balance comes harmony, cooperation and advancement.

Communism proclaims that development comes about through struggle and confrontation, but this is a lie.
This is exactly opposite of God's ideal.

How is it possible for higher beings to develop through such disharmony and struggle?

Only balance, cooperation and harmony can bring about growth and development.

With this simple principle, we are able to evaluate the errors in the evolution theory.  We can also show that the ideology of communism, birthed from evolution theory, is based upon falsehood.

The Divine Principle stresses that God exists with dual essentialities.  This sounds very simple, but nothing grows without the interaction of a subject and object, a pair system.

The greatest historical question has just been answered whether the world was created or is the result of evolution.

The universe was created is the most logical answer.

Since everything in creation has a direction and goal, when one aspires toward their goal and takes action, energy arises that enables them to reach that goal.

Thus, it is logical to conclude that the entire universe is heading in a certain direction and there is a will which determines that direction.

Once one sets the goal, movement has direction and all existence has a goal.

People of religion speak of a heaven on earth.

Communist also speak of an Utopia as the inevitable goal of an ideal world.  Except this world will run according to their 'law' of materialism and regulated through force. But that is pure fabrication.  The basic human right under God is freedom of choice.  Even God does not force His principle on His children.

How can unity be reached through violence and struggle and constant conflict?

The clear answer is that history has been the struggle between good and evil, not between plus and minus or complementary elements of male and female.

History is filled with examples of confrontations and struggle, but between good and evil.  When communists say that struggle between the classes is necessary for growth, this is false.

We can see the clear evidence of this through the conflict we experience within our own hearts.

There are two processes operating within all creation: action and reaction.

When we only look at the reaction process, everything appears to be a struggle, but through action, a parallel reaction automatically appears.

The authors of communism look at such phenomenon and come to a different conclusion.  They believe that a new element or creation comes into being when two elements continually war with each other. This is their view of existence according to dialectical materialism.

There are active and reactive elements.  There are two very different ways of explaining them: communism or Principle.

A repelling energy exists in the universe, but God is complete harmony between plus and minus.  he is a perfect being.

If there was a foreign element, like within a healthy body, this perfect element repels it.

Even in our own experiences we repel threats to our life and being even unconsciously.  When an insect flies toward your eye, you automatically sway it away.

If someone came to you in a threatening manner, you would crouch down making yourself smaller, ready to burst into action.  You repel any external invasions and defend yourself against foreign elements.

Why does the human body shrink first before it strikes out?  It is because the universe is like that.  Once you achieve perfect harmony, you want to maintain it for eternity.

Everything aims for eternal existence; therefore, you have the built-in power to repel any threat. 

You have your own defense department within you!  Likewise, all of creation also seeks to protect itself for the sake of preserving harmony.  This is the beauty of the universe!


The Principle teaches that when plus and minus come together, God is able to dwell within us.

This is because harmony reflects God's own characteristics.

Once we have this base, God can dwell within us.  Blood flows toward healthy cells and the nervous system serves them.

A perfectly functioning cell automatically sends an invitation to the circulatory and nervous systems and the life force flows into it.

When the plus and minus elements completely harmonize, God comes to dwell there.

Therefore, both a harmonizing or comforting force and a repelling force exists.

The harmonizing force brings everything into oneness like glue. The repelling force rebuffs any threats to that perfect harmony.

It springs into action and yells, "Get out of here!"

A rapport is established between plus and minus, but a foreign element that is not a perfect plus or minus is unwelcomed.

Of course you would rather talk to a loving person with whom you have a complete rapport, rather than with someone you dislike.

You rather not have them around.  The universe operates in two ways: by harmonizing and by repelling.   Both activities needs energy.

If you are not able to observe the whole picture, you will only notice the small elements and the repelling action.  You will see the struggle and wonder how such things are able to develop into something greater.

For instance, Darwin observed the conflicts within nature and came to his conclusion from only external observations.

But when  you are able to view the whole, you will see the repelling force and the harmonizing and unifying force - not just the repelling force.

Whenever you seek after a greater object or subject, the uniting force becomes greater than the repelling force and it draws you forward.

If you know something about elementary electricity, you realize that two circuits are required in an electrical current: a plus circuit and a minus circuit.

Do plus and minus attract or repel each other? They attract.

However, two pluses and two minuses repel each other. When plus and minus unite, they resemble God, but plus and plus together do not.

If you observe a thunderstorm, there are great masses of plus energy that collides with masses of minus energy in the air.  When they come together, they produce a joyful spark and an incredible sound.

But, if the plus repels plus and minus repels minus, how is it possible to amass such a huge plus and huge minus?


I was studying electrical engineering, and I was going to write my dissertation on this topic. However, I changed my studies to religion and never wrote the dissertation, but I still have a theory about this question. Engineers and physicists do not deal with philosophical questions; they usually just study the phenomena. I worked out a beautiful theory to show why plus and plus do not always repel but also unite under certain circumstances. 


If there is no minus element present, then the plus and plus will join.  As soon as a plus does spot a minus-a potential 'mate'-then he exclaims that this is what he has been hunting for a long time!

The plus will then reject the plus and goes to the minus.

We can take another example.  When boys are young they are best friends with each other.  In this case, plus and plus are united.

But once men meets the woman who will become his spouse, he does not want other men around anymore.

When a plus discovers a minus, it is drawn to its object.  This is because their unity will make them more like the image of God.  No matter how closely plus and plus are united, it does not reflect the image of God.

On the other hand, when plus and minus unite and repel others, they are actually giving them a loving push away.

This is an encouragement to go and find their own mate and create their own eternal harmony.  The repelling action is a stimulant for others to become the harmonized image of God.

When plus unites with another plus, forming a higher pluses, universal, eternal beauty is created.  Ultimately the super plus and super minus are destined to meet to create the ultimate universal, eternal beauty.

On one magnetic pole is mankind, which is the supreme creation, and on the other magnetic pole is the universe and the rest is creation.

When mankind unites with the universe and energy flows between them, they give birth to incredible beauty and the ideal world.

However, this is not the end of the journey.  As we continue our quest to reach our destination, our subject, God, we find complete, ultimate harmony, with God as the plus and mankind as the minus.

Once men and women join in perfect harmony, the repelling forces will push away any foreign element that tries to invade it telling it to go and find its own mate.

Your body tells you that the normal harmony or balance is broken somewhere through sickness and pain.  You feel pain because something invaded and upset it.

The universal repelling force operates in your body to drive away the foreign invasion and sickness.  The struggle between the two produces pain.

If someone hits you, of course you feel pain from that invasion.  Pain motivates you do something to protect yourself.

Pain is necessary as a warning signal, or else the invasion will continue unabated and can destroy your body.  Even a newborn baby feels pain whenever there is an imbalance within his body.  A baby is sensitive to any abnormal situations.

In conclusion, we are the result of the act of creation, not evolution.

You and I are the fruit of harmony, not division or struggle.

Communists claim to have the ultimate truth and enforce its laws through violence and force.  But it only analyzes the world in little bits and lacks the whole perspective.

In order to produce complete harmony, the universe needs to compose plus and minus elements with their intricate interactions forming all the beauty of the universe.

There is always give and take between plus and minus.  In a big plus there are lots of smaller pluses and minuses.

Isn't this true even within the human body to the atom?  A big minus includes lots of pluses and minuses as well.  Each plus and minus unites, something greater is created.

We have spoken about all these levels of duality, but you too are also a dual existent being.  Within you there is the internal and external, mind and body, right?  If there is no harmony between the internal, spirit body and the external physical body, you feel the pain of conscience.

In order to create harmony, you need God.

Human efforts alone will never bring about unity to the world.

God brings you the power of life.

When He dwells with you, you will never lack energy.  Thus, as the dwelling of God, you become a powerhouse, able to continue day and night without running out of energy for His will.

When you do your mission work or fundraise all day in the heat or the cold weather, there is a constant battle between your mind and body.  You will feel fatigued and powerless once your mind and body are united.

God can dwell in you and you feel abundant energy and vitality.

Therefore, each individual is like a factory with all of the machines running and you don't have to worry about going on strike from overworking.

Some people of faith wonder what is wrong with a little drinking, smoking, or taking drugs.

Liquor, for example invades your body and upsets your balance with the ability to make you commit some mistake before God.

Once you achieve perfect harmony within you, liquor, cigarette and marijuana will not distract you from your course.  But while you are in the process of growing, you tend to look in all direction and the wrong elements try to woo you to it.

Once you pay attention to them while you are spiritually immature, you will be drawn into their sphere.


Take another example: although there is no line between you and me, you feel some pulling power from me, don't you? I may try to chase you away, but you come right back, just like a rubber band! You may think about me day and night, and you feel good because of the invisible link pulling on you. That is the power of life. All living things orient themselves toward the power of life; plants, for example, grow toward the sunlight.



No one can replace Father.

His position cannot be appointed.  It is the same with you.  Can anyone replace your mate or loved one and swap them for someone else?

Certainly not.

We should not be satisfied with just doing well as an individual, you need a family.  The family and its members are essential.

By uniting with them, you are able to enlarge yourself.  In a way, family is your larger self.  Your society and nation are still larger selves.

The world can be your larger self.  Through unity, each person wants and becomes a greater and better being.  Without this principle, the standards of value in society cannot be determined.

Home Church, witnessing to 360 homes in your area and caring for them, is the greatest contribution Father has given to the world.  It is the base for becoming a larger self, transforming the individual into the greater world self.

According to the Principle, a perfect plus automatically brings forth a perfect minus.

If you make yourself the perfect minus, then perfect harmony will result.

God is the perfect plus of the universe.

If there is a negative force that tries to threaten that perfect pair, universal power will shatter it.  If this is not true, then the law of the Principle, universal law is false.

If God is the perfect plus, then the rest of creation, the world, spirit world should be in the perfect minus position in relation to God.

Therefore, we become the perfect object.  If the Messiah is the perfect minus to God, if the whole United States tries to harm him, the universal force will make it stop.

This is how the truth and philosophical conclusion must operate.

Father has seen proof of this statement:


"Representative Donald Fraser, with the overwhelming power of the US Congress behind him, came against me and our movement. I gave Bo Hi Pak instructions to go out fearlessly and fight. Knowing this truth, I took the position of a perfect minus and Bo Hi Pak was united with me. No power under the sun, not even the universal power, can shatter such a relationship.

Anything that tries to break the harmony between God and me will be repelled by universal power. History proves this.

Who was defeated in the battle with Congressman Fraser? Who was defeated in the battle with the Carter administration? Was I defeated? I ran a beautiful test of this theory-like a laboratory experiment- with Fraser and Carter and I proved that it works.

The same principle is behind my announcement of a rally in Moscow. Everybody said, "A Moscow rally? How could we?" But if this principle is true, the Moscow rally will become a reality when you unite with me and the absolute minus.

Yes or no? This is a logical theory and I am not acting blindly. There is logic and philosophy behind my actions. By following this principle, we will ultimately bring the universe and the world into unity(world peace). That is our ultimate goal."

We we talk about winning over the world, we are not speaking of physical means.

Winning over people with love and enveloping them with love is the goal.  Father urges members to become bigger people and take greater challenges.  You only win people through loving them.

Loving them more than their own family, giving them greater and deeper service.  By loving and serving the world, you create a vacuum or a perfect minus from which to work.

High pressure is drawn to a vacuum, so when you become a perfect vacuum, God moves in.  No power under the sun can stop Him from dwelling with you as His perfect object.

Please become like perfect, low pressure air. God is the world's ultimate high pressure air.

But there has never been corresponding low pressure air to be the dwelling place for God on earth.

If you become the lowest of all air pressures, practicing humility, you are a perfect minus.  Then God's high pressure will flow into you and fill you.

This is a natural law and principle.

You are sent out daily to suffer and endure hardships as people of faith, not because God hates you, but so you can rid yourself of your fallen, sinful ways and become a perfect minus to God.

Opposing elements look for their perfect mate for the achievement of perfect harmony.

This universal repelling power was not created to destroy someone, but guide them into their complete harmony.

Universal power is not a destructive power.  This is why we love our enemy.  By loving the worst opposing force, you are actually guiding it into a greater harmony.

Eating is truth, and love between husband and wife is truth, and giving birth to children is also truth. No matter how old you may be, still you want to give birth to a child. Some girl may say she is afraid to get married because eventually she has to give birth to a child; she doesn't know what truth is. But when she is thirty or forty then she understands and wants very much to have a baby. I think that is true. This is true everywhere.

We are going forward for the sake of the world and spirit world.  While we are doing this, everything around us will be left behind.

Those living in spirit world know that club dancing is wrong because of its selfish purposes along with drugs and smoking cigarettes which are harmful to our temple.

Satan uses these weapons as his tools to lure people away from following God's way.

We will do away with those things.

Don't go to a cabaret to dance, but dance in your home. 

If a father, mother and the children were to dance in their home that would be all right because it does not have the sexual connotations or selfish reasons, but can bring about unity.

Those who have passed into the spirit world are able to look into the world and observe everything that is bad going on earth.  We should wipe all of this out which is bad.  T

he prostitution and immorality that is happening within the city limit must be eliminated.  How does such behavior promote peace or national sovereignty?  Does a country move forward that promotes such behavior?

You may think that the work that you do is trivial, but you should know that in a year, everything will be better.  Every decade will be better than the decade before.  We should have a clear vision of where we are going now we know there is hope for the future.

You may say that you are just an ordinary person without much significance and don't want the world.  Y
ou might say that you just want to live with your own individual family  If you refuse to do such work, you will be fencing yourself in without a foundation once you go to spirit world.  You should be able to go everywhere freely without boundaries once you are in spirit world.

But if you just stay in the same position while here on earth, you will be unable to go beyond your fence as well when you reach the world of spirit. No one will be able to break that fence down to free you.

There are many Christians who believe that just merely believing in Jesus that when they reach the next world all of their problems will automatically be eradicated.

But once you reach that world, you cannot go beyond what you were while you were on earth.

You would regret everything so much once you know that this was all explained to you when you could easily do the work of restoration here on earth.

Once it is bound in spirit world, you must return to earth again and work through people who do not recognize you.  This explains the phenomenon of many spiritual experiences people are having in these last days.

This is a miserable situation and may take thousands of years for you to restore yourself back to your original position before the fall which takes years while on earth.


If I didn't know about the spirit world, I would not live the way I do. I would be easy-going like you. I am smarter than you and have many skills, and still I work harder because I know about the spirit world. That gives me conviction and strength. Even if the whole country comes against me, I couldn't stop, because l know that whatever I fail to do here I will have a harder time doing there.


To break barriers is never easy.

Once Father would get to the fence or barrier of a country, he would just kick it open and all of Satan's people would shout in retaliation and accuse him.  This speech was given in 1981: has there been any other time before where somebody kicked open a big barrier like a nation's fence and make all kinds of commotion?


We are supporting President Reagan so that a Christian revival can be made possible through the conservative ideals. As soon as the Reagan administration takes office, the communists will start to demonstrate against the new administration all around the country. Even Mr. Reagan is not thinking about it but also getting ready for that event.


When the Communists demonstrate, you should be in the front line to fight against them.

Many people may ask why a religious organization is fighting communism instead of loving them.  Communist have their focusing on entirely dominating the world with their God-denying ideology through force.

If the communists nations were working for the sake of mankind and for God's dispensation, then they would be helpful to the work of world peace and we would work with them.

But the atheistic communist doctrine teaches that it is necessary for the social classes to struggle and clash. Communists believe in confrontations between different parts of society not true unity.  God's ideal is centered on unity, not confrontation.  The one who strikes first always loses.

Communism promotes promiscuous sex, homosexuality, club dancing, and drugs.  It urges people to create a world of hell by centering their whole lives on themselves forgetting about family and society.

We cannot let that teaching continue to influence the world.

The public way would be to fight against communism.  We do it for the sake of the country, world and God.  If we had not fought, then the people of religion will be destroyed.

The Messiah has the foresight to see that communism could pose a threat and that we must take a stand against it.  As a side note, the Washington Times played a major role during the Cold War that aided in the victory of Ronald Reagan in bringing the wall down in Russia.


Only after listening to my words have you come to know my real value and the value of the Unification Church. I am not doing all these activities because I am dumber than you; if what I am doing looks obscure, it's because I am way ahead of everyone else in my vision. Eventually, everyone will conclude that this is precisely what should be done.


We clearly must have an ideal for a public life, a public way.  If we don't have one, then when it is time to decide which direction to take, we will be thrown into confusion and disunity.  But if we clearly know the public way, then we can always become successful.

We know that 'God' is a good word, but for some reason it has become negative when people speak in frustration screaming out, "Oh God!".  What they are really saying is that they want God instead of Satan who stole the central position.

It happens many times where someone was on the pathway toward God, yet ended up under Satan instead.

When you are happy or unhappy, you have experienced tears at both times.  But the quality of those tears makes the difference.

Therefore, just because you are crying does not mean you are in heaven or hell.

What do you think God would like most?

God would like religious meetings!

Throughout the ages, there have been many forms of religions and now religion has come to a very high level.

In America, there are many people of all religious backgrounds, but in other countries, people only worship in one way.

There are also five different colors of skin here, but in most countries, there is just one color.  We see that throughout history that when a better religion comes into being, the established religions always challenge and compete with it.  Finally, the higher level of religion emerges from this.

Now, the Unification Movement is confronted by Jews, Christians and communists.

The content of the Divine Principle, which upon this blog is based, members believe the words are good and they know them to be true.  But members do not really want to act on them.

We like the idea of fundraising, but you do not actually want to fundraise.

Young people from all over the world have come to compete in a religious Olympics.

People accuse Father of breaking up families and brainwashing people to hear this truth.

But all of spirit world knows that we are good.  All the world is going against the champion of religion.  Where as in the spirit world, they are cheering you on as you do the work of restoring the world.

Is our score in this competition better than the world's score?  You champions are not so great, but you have a great coach.

The champion who is able to go out when the coach give direction, wins all the time.  Then the world would praise the coach and say he is really something.  Will you be defeated or will you win?  Do you pay a lot of attention to home church now.

If you do not have that confidence, how will you be able to break through even one barrier here?

Once you are able to finish home church, you then are given credit for doing all the rest of the work.

Think that the arena where you fight for the title match against evil is in your home church.  We have a world champion in this movement and we are competing among ourselves.

Are you the Church champion at winning, or are you the champion at losing?

There was a member who was fundraising who was a teacher before he joined.  He really enjoyed his work, but after joining for one year and three months, he said he had learned more than he had learned in his life.

He was thankful for being given the gift of the teachings of the Divine Principle.  Father shouted out, Oh God!" at such a person who could see the gains he was making in his life.

Your Home church area is the dividing way between heaven and hell. 

Those who were not able to have success in the home church providence will wonder why such a mission was created because if it did not exist they would be free to move about in spirit world.

Those who are in spirit world who successfully witnessed in the their Home Church area would speak up and say that they did as they were instructed and were successful and that is why they were able to be in heaven.

There may be a fighter who is a champion in his local area, but if he loses the fight on the national level, then he is a loser.

The person who did the work of fundraising getting persecuted and shedding many tears will have an easier time witnessing to the 360 homes in his area and become successful in a short period of time.

You are trained in the champion way.

If you were to go up in a rocket ship, you would not eat the usual food.  You must eat what is available in the capsule.  In this case, then you must eat and be able to digest the Principle food here that is prepared.  These are serious words.

Once you enter the ring, fighting with all your might would be the right thing to do.  If you don't fight, that would be wrong.  Inside the ring, hitting and fighting well is your virtue, but outside the ring that is different.

Home church is the public way. 

You have been given the best present that mankind has ever had.

With this weapon and this food of truth, you will never be defeated by going this way.

Like dedicated runners who jog everyday, you should jog to home church.   You will destroy the walls between individuals and families.  Walls between 'white' people and other races will crumble.  You will enable everyone to move back and forth freely.

If you were to say that you don't like the public way, then you are retreating to hell.

You are doing good work when you are going the way you are supposed to.  Have you ever thought that after you do home church that then you will go to other countries?

Laid upon that foundation, you can think that millions of people will act upon your direction in the future.

Will you go into the arena of home church now?

That would be the ring which you fight the championship bout.

You must truly understand and know the public way.  Once you turn into the direction of the private way, you will be declined and blocked wherever you go.

You always should check yourself in this situation.


A straight line passes through the three points of the past. present and future. If the central point turns around, will all the rest turn too? Since this line is the axis, it will turn. If heaven will make the axis spin, then everything else will tend to spin, too. As long as you maintain a public position, if heaven spins then you spin accordingly. 


As long as the three points are in a straight line, when the axis spins, everything will automatically spin.  The center will always need more power in order to spin.  What would be the power that is strong enough to move everything around and still have power left over?

It is the power of love.

Could America spin around with the power of love?

When life and love come into harmony, then they are strong enough to move the whole cosmos.

When we make the statement that God is love, we mean He is in the center.  To be public is to connect to the axis of love.  Each individual, and nation each level must connect to that axis.

Sacrificing is not bad at all.  Love is all good.

When your parents keep hounding you to study, it is good just as long as they do so with love.

Sacrificing is not bad at all; love is all good. 

No matter how much a person bothers you, if he does it with love, then you must accept that as being good.

God urges you to sacrifice because He wants to bring you to a higher level of love.

Thus, you should bear the heavy burden and important responsibility.  If you are able to persevere, then you can become the axis of love.  Right in the center.  This is why you are urged to sacrifice and suffer.

If one runs away from the work because it is too hard, could he become the center?

Through love, Father was able to become stronger than the communists and nothing else.


I have been strong and unafraid of anything. I am the point connecting the present time to the axis of love, and when I go around in love, the universe will go around with love.  Once I teach you, whether you pass or fail is entirely up to you. If you fail, it does not mean this is a bad school. It's the other way around, in fact.


If there is a school that was so strict that many students fail, then that school would become well respected.

This teaching is a rigorous standard, with no compromise.

The world will come to understand that this is a true school.  It is up to you whether you want to go through this tough course successfully working for others. There have not been many members who have been going the way which will yield success.

Stay with the public way all of the time.

You can forget eating or drinking, but you cannot neglect the public way. 

This way of life of spreading the truth is more important than loving, eating or anything else.

When you are hungry or do not get enough sleep, you may wonder why you work so hard going this way.

You would like to go on Christmas vacations once a year and perhaps there is someone you really like to see.  These are the difficult things that you must overcome and give up.

Do you not pity the young people who do not know who they are and which direction they are going?

They take drugs without knowing what they are truly getting into.  Living for just their carnal desires, there is no future doing that.

When you understand and know the love of God, you must still go the public way no matter how hardened your body may become.

Once you are married, would you want to just give up and get divorced?

Even after you get together, you still have to sacrifice and continue working for the sake of the country.  Once you secure the country, then you have to work for the world.  You still have all of these goals ahead of you.

Your spouse should be really close.  He would be like your friend or your comrade.

During combat, your friend is more than a companion, he becomes like one of your legs.  Your spouse is to be closer than that.

Without a family, you will not come to the love of God. The family is the axis of love, and this is why you love your family.

Even if you are fighting the war for the country, the family is still the nuclear unit.

You should have the kind of thinking that through the work of your family, the world will turn around.
If you are unable to think in this way, then you forget about everything else and just enjoy your family, then your family will perish.

We see many families who are prosperous, and live only for the prosperity of their own family.  But then they leave nothing behind and the children decline.  What use is it to accumulate a lifetime of wealth if the children do not have the means to carry on?

A family that cannot live for others would be like a thief of the heavenly country.

Love yourself so that you can become strong and be an axis which the entire world can depend on.

You are not loving yourself for your convenience, but for the destructive element of the world.  By loving the world, you automatically become the central shaft.  Everyone knows how to love themselves first, but the public way is to love the world, and then for that reason love yourself.

Once you reach that level of loving, everything will come to you.

On the outside, Satan's way tries to look like God's way, but God is living for the sake of the world, while Satan is living for the sake of himself.

You don't have to sit and ponder what your accomplishments will be, if you are able to live in the public way, then your future will be bright automatically.

Likewise, you don't have to worry about the future.  On the other hand, if you work just for your own profit, then you will automatically be headed for hell, with no way to turn around.

As long as you work in the public way and follow the Principle direction,  you will win every time.  As long as this is true, whether you go to heaven or hell is up to you.

You follow this way because it is the fastest and easiest route to the country and world levels.

If future Presidents and world leaders were able to follow this way, then World Peace would quickly be brought about.

People asked where the Kingdom of Heaven is.  Jesus replied that it was in every person's mind.  We must know how we are seriously standing at the borderline of heaven or hell and we must persevere to win.

There is no substitute for winning.

Are you able now to forget about all of the past attachments and realize the public road, continuing on until you win the final victory?

Witnessing Teaches True Love

Many Americans believe that the times which we are living are much better than the olden days, but the truth is the days of the past are much purer and better.

Of course there was much blood shed and many wrongs of the past, but from the viewpoint of values, we must restore this to the present time because this opposite direction leads to destruction.

But Americans will not just simply accept such statements.  We must be able to clearly explain why we must live a purer way.  We must do so quickly because the time is short and unless we cand do this, America cannot be saved.


There have been many changes in public opinion taking place without you even realizing it. Righteous Americans have joined the staff of the Washington Times, even taking a cut in salary, because they felt inspired to join the new conservative movement.


How responsible do you feel for following these words?

Many speeches speak about witnessing to the home church providence in your area comprising of 360 homes.  How many homes in the past week did you visit in your home church area?

Throughout history, many religious people have made tremendous sacrifices and millions have been martyred for their belief in God.  Because of this collective merit of sacrifice and blood, home church is now possible.

There is a value and meaning to this providence because the 360 homes in your area represent all the people in the world.

By witnessing to them, you are doing the same work as working with people all over the world.  Through this, you are able to restore your  family.

If you are not able to do the work of home church, you will be severely judged later.

On the church level, we have not been able to go beyond the family level.  There are many families, but in comparison to the ultimate goal this accomplishment is small.  Unless we are able to go to the larger levels of society nation and world, our level of freedom will not be complete in the spirit world. We will have limited movement there.

As we do the work of restoration every day, corresponding areas in spirit world open and are created at the same time.  At best we have the freedom, right now, to move about at the community level.

There are many borders and boundaries in areas of the spirit world just as there are here on earth.

We witness to people on a one-to-one basis, but at this rate how will be able to expand to the world level?

Your responsibility is to expand to the highest levels.

This is for the sake of your clan.  When you do home church and the people there understand God and His will through the Completed Testament, Divine Principle, then they will be able to educate your clan.  They will become better teachers than you are.

You can think of it in relation to Cain and Abel in your clan.  Your responsibility in the Abel position is to stand on the central point guiding others, living the heavenly, vertical standard yourself.

When you are able to do that, you are able to inherit the position of a true parent.  By standing int hat position, you receive God's love directly, Father love.  Mother's love and the love of brothers and sisters.

If we were able to see with a spiritual microscope, we would be able to see that every one of your cells reflects one of those kinds of love.

They would not be able to just see you alone in your cells, but that you have achieved unity and selflessness.  You can then confidently claim that your 'I' now is different from the 'I' before, because it is reflecting the love of God, parents and brothers and sisters.

Have you thought before about your cells carrying all these different elements of love?

People will automatically like such a person when they see him.  When a person lives only for himself, however, it is hard for anyone to like him. It is even more difficult for God to be pleased with him..

But when you are full of love of others, God will love everything about your eyes, nose and everything else that belongs to you.

Your parents would love you more than you love yourself and will want to share everything they have with you.


Whenever anyone comes to visit me, I try to show love to that person and treat him better than anyone has ever treated him in the past. This is the attitude I want to teach you; whenever you take any position, you should take it with the most loving heart. If you become the president of some organization, be the most loving president that group ever had.


When it is time for the blessing, arranged marriage, many may wonder why they were given the spouse that was picked for them and they want a better one.  If you think that your fiancee is very difficult to love, then when you are able to love them, you will be the king and queen of love.

Do you think God would like such a complaint and think you should have a different fiancee and will change you around?

We each have an endless realm of love to connect with if you make a success out of your relationship.  Certainly, then, God will want to fill you with everything you need.

Every bridegroom should think of his bride as more precious than royalty as if she was his queen and  vice-versa.

The blessing is given to reverse the position of the fall and connect man and wife to the direct blood lineage of God.  How tragic would it be if you knowingly or unknowingly stopped it?  Your ancestors and all of creation will accuse you if you prevent them from being connected to God.

Sometimes, people join the movement with such zeal, but after a few years of hard work, their enthusiasm diminishes.  On the other hand, there is the member that doesn't get much attention at first but gradually build up his accomplishments.

Which member would you like to be?

Naturally, you want to go up, not down, but if you do not follow simple directions like working for the home church providence, you are going down.  You may say that you will carry out your responsibilities as a person of faith, but how much have you actually carried out?

Maybe the American youth have not lived up to all their promises, but another country will.  If the time comes when the white people fail to complete God's time table, then the black people will rise up and become the leaders of the world.

We must realize that America has been helped because it is at the center of God's providence for restoring the world.

If America is not able to do as much as they can and fulfill this mission of world salvation, there will be accusations by your ancestors and all the white people there.

Americans have been taught this material through public speeches and lectures more than any other country and any other religion.  The consequences of missing this opportunity will be much more serious than you think!


This morning I am dressed in a suit and tie because of Sunday Service; normally, however, I prefer to wear less expensive clothing. I have trained myself to conserve water which is so plentiful here in America, because I know how little clean water is available in other parts of the world, especially Africa. If you consistently try to look at things from God's viewpoint, these things are very basic ways of living.


This is why other members from poorer countries do not accuse Father or believe negative information even though they have suffered deprived lives and he is living in comfortable surroundings.

He doesn't feel proud of those things and always thinks that he will see to it that everyone around the world has this kind of environment.

Each of us must live according to the true vertical standard and continuously widen the sphere of influence.  You mustn't think, "Just let the world take care of itself. I am satisfied just as long as my family is doing fine."

The idea is to expand in all four directions, so you need to be moving from the East to the West securing both ends.  Maybe in the future, Western students will want to travel to the Eastern Universities and vice-versa.

If these students' desire is to truly learn from another culture, they can't just have a few small experiences just for purpose of reference and take it back to their native culture.  They can only expand themselves by taking the culture seriously trying to learn from it.

Families that have lived a sacrificial lifestyle for God, should be proud of their sons and daughter going to the remote parts of the world because in this way, cultures of the world can be linked to the families of the highest vertical love of God.

They will also be linked to the deepest horizontal love between people.

Thoughtful and conscientious people around the world will agree with this.

Americans should be the first to reach out and learn from people around the world.  Some Americans are only able to think that the Western way is only good way.

Once America is able to exhibit such an universal attitude, then the rest of the world will follow.

We should not just form and focus only on our family becoming comfortable with our way of life.  You should understand that if you only have a small influence, then your level of freedom to mobility in spirit world will be also small.


In Korea today, people from all professions have come to respect me, while in America I am still treated as an outcast. Since I fought a legal battle in the Orient, I feel that it is right to face a similar battle here in the West. I will never be exhausted; even though every kind of person may oppose me, I must carry out what is necessary.


Is it ideal to say that only blonde, light-skinned people are the standard for mankind?  Of course not.  Within each single individual, there are all different colors of materials.

The different species of geese, such as the Canadian and Alaskan, do not fight with each other when they cross the border.

They do not fight over color or nationality.  If a geese was to lay a colored egg, the mother would not abandon him.

Geese are not aware of color and do not base their decision off of them.  However, the person who is conscious of his own color and other people's coloring creates barriers and obstacles in his life.

Even though many people may shout for you to go home and you receive much persecution as you walk this pathway, you must recognize your true value.

One day you will be sought after by the whole world.

The earth is divided into the North and South pole.  But, human civilization is divided between the Eastern world and the West.

The two poles of the earth are the vertical line and the East-West is on horizontal line.  When humanity is able to finally unite globally with harmony between the East and the West, Heaven on Earth will be achieved.

Americans have been opposed to Reverend Moon without actually knowing anything about Reverend Moon. Soon, however, the time will come when Americans will quickly change their minds.

Would you like to go to the other part of the world?

The person who refuses to budge becomes stagnant and eventually will decline.  We must widened the individual influence to all the higher levels to the clan, nation and world.

If you are not able to literally expand to the highest levels, then you can connect yourself with the Messiah and follow him.

This ideology of the Divine Principle, the Completed Testament, which this blog is based upon has been persecuted on the worldwide level because it has reached to that position.  Any conscientious person who hears this teaching will see the greatness of its ideology.

You each recognize this, but sometimes you say you wish this path was easier and less difficult and you would be more motivated.  However, if the hardship was eliminated, the there could not be any true restoration accomplished.

The normal course for a champion is to go through many hardships. 

To become a world champion boxer or a supreme martial artist, would you expect to do it without fighting or any amount of training?

You would not be able to win the moment you stepped into the ring just from the first blow of your opponent if you ran out.

The normal course of a champion is to get beaten, to bleed and to have many scars.  But just when things look the worst for him, he is able to stand up and knock out his opponent.  This is the way the champion must go.

Our work on this path of faith is a real challenge as well.

At the time of difficulty, serious people stay and weak, uncommitted people fall away. 

If you are able to continue this endeavor and keep running all the way to the goal, no matter what happens, you are assured of being a true winner and champion.

The Messiah's true work of world restoration is so arduous, those who know his path would not be hungry for that central position.

No one is willing to take over that position.  Actually, within the world of love, there is nobody who can take the position.

Was God's position elected through popular vote?  What about the Messiah?

Certain positions were created before there was a political process conceived.  Likewise, you did not have any decision or chose in who was your parents, brothers or sisters.

Some things in human society will never be changed.

Through the election process, it is possible that a communist is elected president of this country.  If that was possible, Satan would be able to win tremendous influence over the earth.  God has been fighting Satan's influence throughout history and now we are at the culmination point.

The Messiah's responsibility is to achieve and protect the vertical position of love.

We already know that no military power will be able to stop the spread of communism completely.  The battle must be won within the communities and families, where the ideology has been implanted and embraced.

Home church of witnessing to 360 people in your area is the way to fight the influence of communism.

Communism is the enemy of God because it believes salvation through material gain and not through God.  If you have built a strong foundation in your area, you will be able to know if someone enters the community preaching communism.

You will then be able to prevent such unwholesome ideas from invading your area.

New York is in a pivotal position for the world; if it turns toward goodness, the world will follow. If it turns toward evil, so will the whole world.

The movement has focused energies and resources to New York for decades for this reason while others were deserting the city and giving up on it.  We went against the tide at that time.

The young people of the movement have been pushed to be humble and deny themselves to reverse the fallen ways of the secular world.  Even fiancees do not hold hands while other kiss and express their love publicly.

In secular society, people often live together before becoming husband and wife, but we get married and wait a time to do mission work before we consummate as husband and wife.

When you are able to go this way, you go beyond your physical appetites in order to achieve a greater goal.

We may appear to be the lowest people and continue to deny our worldly pleasures, but we are actually becoming greater and greater people.

Those who constantly indulge their appetites will discover that they have not gone up, but down in value.

Likewise, those without the strength and determination will not be able to persevere through the most difficult times.
