Everything Can Be Lost in a Moment

You could build a foundation of faith that is very strong like many ministers and saints of the past, but it can all be lost within one moment.  Once we realize this fact, we are ever striving to be careful with our words and decisions in every moment.

There is no better way to learn this simple fact than through the record of religious accounts.  The Bible alone can be thought of as a record of God's work to bring His children back to His bosom after we disobeyed through numerous saints, sages and people of faith.

Account after accounts, shows how God had planned victory through His people only for in one single moment of selfishness or lack of faith lost 40, hundreds and thousands of years of foundation laid for such a victorious moment.

Through the people of Israel following Jesus as God's son and raising him as a true king, God planned to bring about heaven on earth through His people conquering Rome during Jesus' life.

Instead, through countless mistakes, this victory would take place 400 years later with thousnds of Christian lives and sacrifices to pay for Jesus' death on the cross.

The purpose that people desire

God does not have a physical body.

Therefore, He manifests through Adam as His body, showing His face through him.

This is the ideal of creation.

God is the original spiritual(vertical) center and Adam is the original physical (horizontal) center.  When these two meet, they generate a 90-degree perpendicular angle.

This was God's purpose for the creation and it is people's desire to have this unity with God.

Had Adam and Eve had chosen to follow God's direction, they would have occupied the positions of true father and true mother eternally in the spirit world.

Yet due to their mistake in following the archangel's desires, this was not possible.  Had there been no Fall, everyone could have gone to Heaven just by simply attending the True Parents, perfect Adam and perfect Eve, just as if they were attending God.

The reason for birth

Everything is round in the created world: the sun, the earth, and the stars.  Even our mouth upon further analysis is round.

No matter what, everything is created that way.  Then the universe makes relationships by going round and round in circular, cyclical movements.

Even if one individual thing has a round shape, it does not exist on its own, but makes a connection with the whole.

This helps explain why we are born?

We are born to beat in rhythm with this vast universe.

The ocean waves that lap against the shore, lap against our hearts as well.  Gentle breezes softly and serenely lull our hearts into serenity.

The flowers which bloom release rich fragrances and stir the fragrance in our hearts.

If we are born, raised, live and die in love, then we can be grateful for our birth, life and death.

Since you were born through your parents love and treasure each other exceedingly, you consider yourselves born as the flags planted through your parents' love.

You are participants in this love.

Being born from that place of your parents' love, you consider yourselves born as the flags planted through your parents' love.  These flags flutter to express love.

God created humanity to live for the sake of love throughout their entire lives.  So, you should wave the flag of love for you mother, your father and for your siblings.

The relationship between a moment and a lifetime

The crossroads of life do not occur over a long drawn out period over time, but it happens in a single moment.

Your living body cannot be perfected unless your entire existence becomes a foundation for absorbing nutrients.  This phenom occurs in the natural world.

People who ignore such a moment, fail to obtain something precious.

Thus, they cannot become great people, nor inherit God's throne and crown.

For the sake of one bright, shining moment, exercise care with each of the words you speak, the action you take, and even each thought you entertain.

You should believe that the content of your family daily life will remain in the relationship to the world as you deal with life and solve problems.

In this way, the realm of victory or failure is determined in such a moment.

It is the same with the historical ream of victory on the cosmic realm.  Those who are able to understand the infinite value of such a bright moment and live accordingly, can become great people, saint, or more importantly, God's sons and daughters.

This point where life and death meet, is just a single moment.

It is necessary to first desire the coming of heaven continuously with faith and wish for His will to be done.

What is more important, is how we become one with God's ideal.

Attitude is the problem.

Of course, first, we must desire for the coming heaven on earth and wish for the Will to be done.  Yet, what is important is how we can personally become one with God's will and take it as our own desire.

We must create environments as individuals, and people that will enable us to inherit God's will.  This is where we can then proceed to establish, a relationship with Heaven.

Throughout the history of God's providence, there were three thousand years beginning from Adam's family  through Noah's Abraham's and Moses families down to Jesus.

In the Adam's family, the fall was not explained just because the fall was not something planned out.  This plan was to be put into action over the span of a year.

If you were given an hour, when centered on God, we make a relationship with His Will.  This is an important issue.

When you look at this failure, we see that, no matter what is presented, it did not occur over the course of a year.

It was not something that was planned to put in action over the span a year, five years or a decade.

Their mistake happened in a flash.

When we think about how that failure of only one moment has been perpetuated over eons of times within humanity, we can understand the fearfulness and dread of repeating that instant in our own life of faith.

Even if we live 40 years as a saint, we can fail God's will in just one moment of weakness.  When you look at the biblical story accounts of many people of faith, it is a record of many failures of God's people to restore God's heaven on earth.

The point Adam and Eve believed in the archangel's words over God's, these became the origin of a humanity needing to make a tremendous offering of indemnity or redemption for this mistake.

When we understand this importance, a single hour that we ordinarily live so casually within our daily lives can become just as fearful for such a mistake to take away years of foundation.

Even moreso, we have to feel how fearful even a moment is, even one second of one hour that goes by as the clock continuously tick.

Even eternal heaven has to exist having an integral relationship with the single moment.

We mistakenly believe that eternity begins when we die, but it begins at the moment we come to know God's will.

Eternity will be interrupted if there is even a short jump in time even if it was just a moment, then eternity will be interrupted.

We should, therefore, not procrastinate while walking this path of faith in the course of our lives.

Do  not procrastinate by deferring your responsibility.  A person such as this will die without ever having spent a day of being one with the Will over the course of their lifetimes.

Then they cannot go to the Kingdom of Heaven.  However good your country of residence may be, you cannot go to the Kingdom of Heaven.

If you are unable to live even one day by a victorious standard, you will not enter the eternal world if you fail to live even one day out of the year for God's providence.

Since we cannot stop and must move forward, believers go forth dreaming of eternity. It is important for believers to go forth dreaming of eternity.

What is even more important for believers is how much evil can be eradicated and whether they have become the standard of goodness.

This is very crucial.

When we look from this perspective, Adam's momentary lapse in judgment led to thousands years of anguish.  God, thus planned for Cain and Abel to dissolve this anguish of their parents and demolish the wall that exists between brothers and create the origin of one true family.

Yet, Abel's murder was also an instantaneous incident that changed God's plan.

During Noah's 120-year course, he toiled to build the ark.  In only a brief moment, God gave the command to board the ship.

Those who followed this order were able to receive the blessings of the eternal God.  Those who did not were buried within the eternal judgment.

The same with Abraham: God's promise that His descendants would be numerous as the stars in the sky and the grains of sand on the seashore. Gen. 22:17

This was bestowed in a twinkling of an eye.

Abraham's sacrificial offering did not require decades, but rather a mere day's work.  The time it took him to cut the offering and place it on the altar, was not an hour, yet that single hour historically bore the seeds of all life and death, or curses and blessings within it.

Today, believers should not dread the visitation of judgment in the Last Days, but the question of how they will harmonize their daily activities and face life's crossroads with God's will.

God Finally Reveals Himself

We are living in the most precious time in human history, a time wished and dreamed by many saints and good people.  This is the time when all the fruits God has planted on earth will finally be harvested.

We paved the way where God can settle and be present for the first time one earth.

God never had a place to lay His head ever since humanity had rejected Him from the beginning.  God would come in moments or through his messengers and angels, but has never settled on the earth until now.

But because humanity  has fallen to a position below God's perfect standard, He had no one to share His heart until the birth of Jesus.

We are saved through attending Him.

This is how history progresses.

What will remain in the end?

It is God and human beings, their life course, and their outlook on daily life -- the divine and human perspectives on life and the world.

These perspectives will be based on an inseparable, eternal relationship.  Since God and humankind have been separated, they need to reach a place that is higher than that inseparability.

At such a point, they should demand a global stage where God and humankind are one together in daily life.

God is the center of the universe where we have to live for the sake of others. 

The path of attendance to God is that you want to be governed by Him for tens of thousands of years and more.

When would it have been possible for fallen people today to be governed in that way?  When that goal is reached, there could be no greater happiness than this.

In the New Testament Age we received salvation through living a life of faith.

Now, after the return of the Messiah, we attain salvation through attendance.

In the original world without the existence of the fall, we would follow a normal path by attending God.  There would be no need to learn about God and attendance from religion because our ties would never have been severed.

You should attend God in your everyday life, and with your heart.

God is the absolute Father, absolute True Parent, and the unique, unchanging and eternal True Father. 

A Father with such an absolute character would also have absolute sons and daughters, too who have unique, unchanging qualities.

When such people marry, they will become eternal couples.  These families will be eternal families that can live with God and constitute the eternal base of the Kingdom of Heaven on earth.

You are justified through attendance in daily life realizing the Kingdom of Heaven.  History of restoration is recreating the world to God's ideal creation

We will be unable to liquidate this satanic world unless a starting point is created to bring God into our hearts.  This is where we humans can be completely one body with God.

When we know this fact, we are in the age of salvation based on justification through attending God directly.  We are thus saved through attendance.

God is not a magical God that is up there in the sky.

He is not fantasy or make believe, nor is He an abstract God.  God is our subject and Master in our daily life.  

God does not sit on some throne just receiving and enjoying our attendance, but He lives together with us by sharing love.

What was God's purpose in creating Adam and Eve?

We have a visible, physical body, but the invisible God does not.  Therefore, God is unable to govern the physical worlds without a body.

Even though God exists, to be the Parent of humankind, He needs a body.  God's representative.  What was God's purpose in creating Adam and Eve?

Adam and Eve were created as God's representatives with a physical body.

If Adam and Eve had followed God's word and never fell, then God would have appeared after their maturity and governed the created world through their bodies.  Therefore, we become o-creators alongside God.

Adam and Eve were the first parents that were to be God who rules over heaven and earth.  As the external form, the body of God, who is in the invisible world, Adam and Eve had the responsibility  of governing the world.

Adam and Eve would have been perfected and become True Parents that represent His form.

If all of the billions of parents were to come back to earth all at once, none of them would be able to surpass the glory of such True Parents that do not have any trace of the Fall.

Even if thousands of ancestors were to return singing all the praises of the resurrection, this would not be able to transcend the problems of the fall.

The term True Parents appears and is is substantiated on the earth for the first time.

Jesus was able to become an absolute son, but due to going the way of he cross his mission was incomplete and he could not reverse the problem of the fall within the Parent and family level.

Although your current situation may be miserable, you should know that the term "True Parents," taught in the Unification Church today, is a proud one and more valuable than hundreds of millions of ancestors rejoicing in a glorious place of earthly victory and liberation of all people. 

Through meeting the true Parents, you are led along the path to directly meet God whereby God's nation and the homeland, which True Parents desired, is found.

The Completed Testament Age of justification through attendance is the age of directly attending God in our life. 

This is the time where the form of the true God will finally appear to us.  When the new Jerusalem in heaven comes down to earth.

This will happen for the first time in the history of the creation of the world.  Up until now, God had not been able to appear in history, but had to work through prophets, signs and angels.

This has remained at an incomplete stage since the Fall.  Through True Parents restoring the mistake of the fallen first parents of history, this is possible.

God's Word is Like Honey

Even though we were born into this world to accept it as is, we feel down deep that this is not the original way God wanted the world to be when He created humanity.

Originally, humanity had everything: God's ideal mind, God's body, God's love.  

Yet, after the fall we lost all of these including the blood lineage of God and inherited the lineage of Satan.  Our original mind understood that true love and value of God.

We have fallen far from the original idea of God's creation.  We are mere projections of the original creation.  When you can take back the original human dignity of personality, then Satan will be blocked.  This is good news.

For humankind what is the most deep, important point?  It is the mind.

The second is love. Looking from that particular viewpoint, all over the world, you cannot find anyone harmonized in mind and love.  We understand that clearly, however, we cannot attain that purpose easily.

Why?

Until the return of the Messiah, we did not understand this point clearly.  Religions have taught about disciplining the mind and love without truly understanding the root.  Satan uses our ignorance to the true original way God intended and presents his fallen, hell as good, exciting and a stimulating atmosphere.

He makes the surface of the ungodly world, Satan's armament which fell down from heaven look colorful and makes it seem as if it is the true way.

When God looks down on such a miserable situation in which His children are in, He waits a tedious amount of time in history when this would occur.  That time is now where Satan's ideals and will are absolutely seen as the truth instead of God's ideal and God's will.

Satan accused: "Why can God keep the beautiful creation foundation? I cannot permit that kind of duality. Wipe it out! If God doesn't take the restoration way, I'll take the creation for myself."

The principled viewpoint is this: no matter how strong is God's power, Satan cannot deny my way-I will proclaim it, I will do it step by step, reclaiming the individual foundation, family foundation, Father's holy blessing after that, and after that the family pulling over the representatives of Satan's family.

You are wrong; you have belonged to Satan's side.

Make yourself independent; after that follow the Messiah. Otherwise you will perish. I make my point clearly; but they ask, "Well, what did you say? We are very happy. Throughout history inherited this way of life, and in the future we will go the same way. What are you talking about, making a more complicated situation? We don't like that! Go behind us!'

Father didn't accept that. Father took the consequences every time centering on God's law of conscience. I opened doors and left them open behind me. The route you have to follow is my way-the way I took has become the universal textbook.

If you can understand the contents of this textbook, you will be grateful forever. You cannot separate from those contents. If you take one taste, it is much too sweet, it's like honey. You cannot turn back."

You want more and more; it is that kind of situation.

When you get a taste of this true taste, no matter how your parents, friends, relatives go against you, you will never change your determination to go this way.

The Old Testament and New Testament are the main trunk, right? There are a great number of saints there. When they are coming down to assist Father's ministry, as well as your ministry, by the same token they are affecting their own denomination and horizontally those people come to assist you.

When the saints come down to help you and your community during this time, you will witness many miracles in your lifetime and in your own village, town and community.  Just test this out for yourself; just kick and create a problem.  Initiate something and then you will see the most strange power come to act upon you.

Those who follow the true way have been persecuted and live with the mindset of a persecuted minority.  When you meet someone, your heart will start pounding in anticipation, "What can I do if something happens? What can I do if some satanic action occurs?"

Yet we should not feel this way.

Father taught that the opposite will happen.  You are the tower of strength and the absolute plus.  People will attest upon meeting you that you are a mighty power or what mighty words you speak.

Their heart will pound because we have the most powerful weapon:  Divine Principle, True Love and True Parents! Amen!

The entire world power was up against the Messiah's lonely power.  Only, this lone power is much greater and heavier.  The Messiah is like a 5th degree black belt and the other side is just a beginner's white belt in karate.  The power on the good side is so heavy that it won't just tilt the balance over, but it will also turn it around.

One must trust and believe in the words of the Messiah, not just consider the words.  If you were have a jar full of sweet honey, would you feel good eating it all on your own or would you like to share the same honey with everyone?

God's words are as honey.  The more you share it the more they will want to have more honey.  You would not just give them honey, but you would give them eternal life.

With the word of the Divine Principle, we have a honey factory of truth.  This universal raw material is in abundance with no end.  You can ask for more supply and the Messiah will make jar, after jar after jar.

So the conclusion is this: "Yes, that is the only truth. Father we have no choice except to obey and follow you; we will live and die for you." Those who do, will you raise your hands and pledge? Now shake your hands, like an earthquake. We are uniting the entire world.

God Sacrificed to Bring the Lord of the Second Advent

When you are fighting for God on the frontline, He can manifest himself to assist you and lead you.  He had to lay a kind of foundation for many thousands of years through many sacrificial offerings. Many martyrs have died, and much sacred blood has been shed in the name of God's will.  Upon that foundation, God can appear and work on earth.

This crusade is going on, transcending national barriers, transcending language barriers, transcending racial barriers.

The Almighty God who is the creator of heaven and earth and mankind will appear directly in the form of the Messiah at the Second Coming and the Bridegroom borrowing their images to work with you in your missions.

The Messiah lays a foundation for complete salvation.

Do you think that spirit world could penetrate a barrier like the communist world?

God does not recognize any national barriers.  In these Last Days, the entire spirit world has been opened up and is rushing down to the world like a flood descending on this world.

When rushing water comes pouring down a place like Niagara Falls, it finds the slightest opening, even a little creek. The water knows clearly where the gaps are and pours right down into them.  By the same token, compared to the size of the world, the Unification Church is like a little creek, a tiny gap, but the water knows it very well.

When you make a little creek, the water comes dashing into it, and splits it wide open.

When you truly look at the history of God, you see that He paid a heavy price in order to see His ideal of perfection on earth.  Martyrs, saints, Christians sacrificed and shed blood waiting the day of fulfillment.  When God comes down to help you, would He come down by Himself or bring millions and millions of spirit people with Him?

Before the Second Coming, there was no way from the spirit world to function properly.  There wasn't a foundation of correct communication established or love between the nations and races.  No one could prepare the base so that God could bring down His hosts of angels revealed in the Book of Revelations.

We have witnessed many spiritual phenomena in the past decades.  Many evil, lost spirits are haunting and terrorizing people to do their own will.  Spirits can cause diseases, accidents and problems in each person's
life.  There are also many mediums trying to tell fortunes.

What is the difference between evil spirits and good spirits?

You feel fearful, uncertain and unstable when you are being approached by an evil spirit. 

It is like the wind and will make you shiver. When a good spirit comes near you to embrace you, you feel so good without reason.  You will feel like you are walking on the clouds.  But a heavenly spirit is like spring.  It melts you and relaxes you and you will feel warmth, love and comfort.

If you do not feel this in the movement, then you still have a ways to go in your spiritual awakening.  When people join, they feel free, secure, happy and very energetic ready to do any mission for God.  But in the secular world, your parents are waiting with good things, like cars, and lots of food, but some how you feel uncomfortable, scared and shivery.

You just want to stay by yourself. You must experience this kind of distinction between the two worlds.

The secret is deeply hidden why the Divine Principle causes this without brainwashing, pills or injections.

Divine Principle is like a big reservoir of the word of life. 

When you listen to the Divine Principle, it is like sticking straw into a limitless reservoir supply of the water of life coming to you.  You keep drinking and drinking.  If somebody tries to make you go away from the word of life, your mouth may stick to the straw even though your body is taken away.

Have you ever observed a honey bee going from flower to flower to suck the sweet nectar?  If you were to pull him away while he is sucking the nectar, even though his wings may break he will not release from the flower.  You, too might experience this kind of concentration. The Divine Principle is sweeter than nectar and you want to stick in a little pipe into it for the rest of your life.

Those who follow the True Parents of humanity, the Messiah at the Second Coming, and truly realize you belong to parents who have eternal life and see them in your dreams, your life will be connected to eternal life, eternal source and the unlimited reservoir.  With this realization, you are already living in the Kingdom of God on earth.

In the past religious history of the world, the experience, the exhilaration you taste in your life could not occur. This is the first and last time in history.

Does honey only taste sweet to white people and only taste bitter to black people?  Is honey sweet to God? Is there something that tastes sweeter than honey?  What is that?  Love.  Correct.  Love is a mysterious thing.  If someone was to ask you to show love, you would not be able to show a piece of love.

In the current situation of the world, many may question if there is a such thing as love, but actually there is.  When there is none, it seems to be there.  Love is very mysterious.  Love looks just like God.  When you peer into God, there may not seem to be a God to see, but there is definitely a God.  He does not come within your grasp.  He is both there and not there.

The host of love is God, God owns love.

If a person is becoming more like God's image, they would be pulled by the power of love.  This person would be able to recognize the power of love.  How is someone entitled to receive love from God?

It is something intangible.  There is some mysterious, magnetic power.  All the single women, who would want to marry this type of person?  Many people don't understand why many are influenced by the magnetic power of the Messiah and judge that there are other reasons why people join even if they are told to go away.  It is the power of unconditional true love.

Spiritual Food or Die Trying

I believe every human has once seen or heard the biblical phase, "Man Cannot Live By Bread Alone."  For those who do not know, God's word or law is like food for the spirit or soul of every man giving life.

Since a man, who was created by God's word, fell as a result of losing the word, he must be recreated by the word.

That is God's word of love, God's word of life and God's word of lineage.

The principle law is more precious than anything else. Have you ever thought of the principle being more precious than eating your meals, wearing your clothes, or sleeping? You should have viewed the principle as something absolute, and believed in the principle with a more precious and sacred attention, than anything else in the world; however, we as humans could not live up to this standard. Before God, we should all repent.

We must breathe, spiritually, every day. How do we do this?

Just like you have meals daily, you must connect with God's word. You must place more emphasis on connecting with the word than eating daily meals. You must emphasize the word as most important. Only then will you walk the path to Heaven.

Everyone has to eat breakfast, lunch and dinner every day. However, it is more precious to receive spiritual nourishment, the word of God. The question for your life is this. How much will you nourish and grow your spiritual self, valuing God's word more than your daily meals.

You must understand God's word in your "chest" as soon as you understand it in your head. You also must understand it in your body as soon as you understand it in your chest. Then, you must understand it in your heart as soon as you understand it in your body.

It is no good if you act according to your own regard, while God's word remains only the words that you read. Don't many of us religious do this?  We preach the word to others, but don't fully follow it ourselves?  I'm not talking about hypocrisy, moreso, about how it is oftentimes hard to even recognize that we are not completely following the word because our spirit hasn't matured to what we preach yet.

We must become the manifestation of God's word.  Just as Jesus did. Many will say this is blasphemous to think we can be the same as Jesus.  Then why did he tell us to be perfect like our father is perfect?  Is it possible for fallen humanity to become perfect like Jesus?

Of course it is.  All of God's saints and Jesus gave us the word according to their time to guide us toward perfection.

How do we do this?

God's internal heart must become your internal heart. Namely, you must become the embodiment of your original mind.

We shouldn't feel guilty that we are not like Jesus, that we upset God's plans and stumble along the way.  Every human has an immature spirit that must be nourished and grown just like the human body.  The word is food for our spirit. 

This is why many who read the word and follow it as much as possible without judging others seem to be more stable and grounded in their life.  They are growing their spirit while others struggle throughout their days and seem on the brink of death and calamity all of the time.

Truth must be actualized. The truth should be maintained and perfected in living human beings. Otherwise, the truth may be taken and misused by Satan. Therefore, God does not reveal the new truth through his saints until all required conditions are met and the truth is manifested in reality.

This is why you see a progression of the truth heighten from Noah's time to Jesus's time.

God's word will bring a result of goodness and carry out the grace of resurrection and the grace of recreation wherever it is spread. So you must be people who are equipped with the word and who can liquidate evil, carry out the grace of resurrection, and command the execution of recreation.

Therefore, the place where such people, who are equipped with God's word, live together is the Kingdom of Heaven.

Jesus said to Satan, "It is written: 'Man shall not live on bread alone, but on every word that comes from the mouth of God.'"(Matthew 4:4) This is very real. Has God's champions lived until now because they labored? Or have they lived because of money? It is neither. They have lived by holding on to God's word.

God works through levels and stages - growth stages.  Everything in creation grows through stages.

First, is the era when you believe in God' word. Second, is the era when you practice God's word. Then, last is the era when you live your life -- your whole life -- centered on God's word. You will enter the era of living life. In order to transform this world into the Kingdom of Heaven, each of these steps should be followed faithfully. We will develop in the order from the era of faith, to the era of practice, and finally the era of living life.

The spirit world is a place where people live their lives centered on God's word. Since every action in your daily life is in accordance with the word, you must be disciplined here on earth. In other word, if you dislike the word of God, you should not eat your meal. You must enjoy and taste the spiritual nourishment more than your meals. Since the word is the eternal spiritual nourishment, you must be trained to develop the taste for the spiritual meals that last forever, while you live this limited earthly life.
