The Way to World Peace

If fallen man understood that humanity went in the wrong direction causing a constant war going on within each of us, the restoration of the world would be faster.  

As a consequence of the Fall of Man, there is a continuous struggle and conflict within ourselvess between mind and the body.  Between the desire for good and the desire for evil.

 

Originally, our mind and body were to be operate as one in unity, not struggle.

 

Our mind represents God's mind.

The human body is a container to accommodate the mind.  Separation came between these two when the fall occurred.

Thus the body dominated the good mind based on Satan or selfishness.  Thus, tragically, the human body has become the servant of Satan.

On the other hand, the human conscience is the agent of God in the individual person.  Our conscience was not created to benefit oneself.

It is planted by God for the sake of righteousness.

Yet the body rebels against this conscience.

The body only seeks after comforts and tends to act selfishly, going after carnal desires.  The conscience in turn is trying to chastise the body and direct it toward the godly mind's desires.

This is why there is always inevitable conflict and struggle within one's self.

This is the reason why the traditional religions of the world all teach the principle of chastising the body through fasting, prayer, and other disciplines.

By doing the opposite of what the body desires to do that is wrong, discipline brings the body to the will of the mind.  For this reason, religion which is the training ground where the desire of the body is suppressed, has been the instrument of God to bring men back to God's original ideal.

In order for us to dominate the body, we must unite with God within Himself.

The only power that enables the mind to dominate the body is the same power which generates unity of the mind's wth God's truth and love.

 Mind is subject and body is object. 

God's love and truth has the power to bring the mind and body into harmonious person.  Religion would define such a person as a man of perfection or a holy man.

Men and women that center their whole life on God are called men and women of goodness.

These good men and women may receive God's blessing of marriage and be united into a couple of husband and wife.

This will be the beginning of one ideal family of men on the face of the earth.

This model family is what God wanted to have as a building block of the good society, nation and world.

The Family is the Foundation of Peace

The Orient has a saying that "Once peace dwells int he family, everything goes right."

A happy and harmonious family is a family of peace and the foundation for the heavenly kingdom on earth.  The dynamic of the family is true love.

You must love God first, then love your husband or wife and your children with pure and sacrificial love.  This is the manifestation of true love.

God created love as the supreme force in the universe.

There is nothing greater in the universe than true love which is supreme.

True love, of course, originates from God.

God invested everything, every ounce of Himself in order to bring about the creation of all things and mankind.

 

Love is the only is the only thing in the world when invested fully, returns fully.  

When you invests true love, it will multiply and prosper.

Investing 100 percent of true love will yield 120 percent.  One might think that those who practice true love would become poor and miserable, yet the end result is to the contrary.

Through practicing true love, you will acquire prosperity and eternal life.

This kind of family of true love becomes the foundation for creating a society, nation and world centered on God's love.

That world would become ideal and peaceful.

There you will find understanding and peace and not misunderstanding and confusion.

You will find unity instead of division.

You would find selflessness instead of selfishness.  It would be the world where sacrifices and good service are a dominant virtue which everyone would strive to achieve.

The realization of God's ideal is the way to bring about true peace in the world.



 

The Ideal of True Parents for True World Peace

The Bible states that God sought to create human beings from "His own image" and character.

This means that the invisible God wanted to manifest Himself substantially into a visible, physical form.

In other words, men and women would become the personification of God through their perfection in pure love.

If the first man and woman had realized the ideal of God, they would have become the first visible form of God and created the first family of man of God-centered children, grandchildren who would expand to form an ideal society, nation and world.

In this case the invisible God would thus become the vertical True Parent of man centering upon true love.  Humankind would have centered upon good Adam and Eve who became True Parents by becoming one family eternally fulfilling a true brotherhood.

The Fall of Adam and Eve brought about the lost of not only God's ideal world, but the True Parents of humanity.

We became like orphans whose true parents abandoned them.

Therefore, brothers and sistersturned into enemies.

As a result, nation became antagonistic relationship rather than friendly ones. Accusations, and distrust abound on every level of society.

In the final fulfillment of human history, therefore, God's work of restoration is the restoration of True Parents first, liberating humanity from its orphan status.

Today this is the central dispensation of God - to bring True Parents to earth to guide mankind and create the true family of man centering on God and true love.

Ladies and gentlemen, today's creation of the Federation for World Peace must be different from that of the League of Nations and the United Nations. Most important is that we must found this organization upon the true ideal and philosophy of lasting peace as well as the ideal of True Parents. In the final analysis, peace in God and with God is the newest level of awakening. 


Once humanity reaches this level, it will be a refreshing new beginning toward attainment of peace.  The exclusion of God from human efforts to bring about peaceful solutions, is the core reason why there is constant failure in these endeavors.

Therefore, we should make God the center of this movement.

Historical Gathering

For men and women who are fervently longing for world peace, today's gathering is an historic gathering. There are many presidents and former presidents here today, as well as prominent religious leaders and leaders from every walk of life. This is truly a rare and extraordinary assembly. Furthermore, there are leaders from the East bloc and the West bloc. Until recently, those leaders were mired in the Cold War and locked in a chilling confrontation. In this auditorium, however, there is no East or West. Everyone is gathered together in one spirit of cooperation and reconciliation.

On November 9, 1989 the Berlin Wall finally came tumbling down.

Ever since that historical event which was felt around the world, we have been living in a different world.

The world is quickly moving forward to reformation, mutual understanding and friendship.  Everyone today feels that the world is opening up, a new way, to blossoming opportunity of peace.

If you agree that the principles I have expounded are the fundamental criteria for peace, then true peace is reachable and achievable. The industrialized North must reach out to help liberate the South from pervasive impoverishment. The developed nations must reach out with a helping hand toward the developing countries and the new democracies.

During this time of transition and restoration, each nation must change from a selfish one to an unselfish one.

That in itself is a revolution.  Nations can do this when leaders themselves are able to see from the position of parents.

 

The most unselfish and sacrificial love of all is the love of parents. 

 

 

 

From this perspective, we can see that on a worldwide level that all of the nations are brothers and sister nations.  

 

Then a fresh new vision emerges and a new opportunity will open up in front of us to a new dawn.

What should be the priority of those countries that are part of the UN in the days to come?

We have reached the age where colonialism is over.  

 

Where the powerful nations exploited the weakest ones in the past is over.  The law of "survival of the fittest" does not apply in our new world.  

 

The age of the superpower arms race which drove the world and humanity into fear and uncertainty has also passed.  

 

 

 

 

 

Humanity ought to be liberated from the devestating threat of nuclear arms.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

What time is it on God's timetable of restorating the world?

This is the time that the Holy Scriptures refer to "beating our swords into plowshares."  Do you see it is such a time of human revolution going toward a better world centered on God?

This is the time for developing mutual trust which is based on a high moral standard.

It is a time when all of the members of the United Nations in a relationship of mutual respect and love, should jointly declare one final war against our common enemies.  

 

That would be hunger, ignorance, disease and crime.

This is God's plan.  Even though everyone has a concept of their home country where family lives, in larger sense, the world now becomes "my country" because it is where God, my Father and my brothers and sisters live.  

 

From this point of view, all the advanced nations should seek to share their knowleddge of high technology with developing countries and new democracies.

To do otherwise would be a moral crime.  Things which are good and beneficial must be shared among all nations.  When a new discovery is made, it should benefit all nations.  If something is good for humanity and the world, it should be fulfilled, transcendent of national boundaries.

For a long time, I have been fighting for equal opportunity in the use of high technology by all developing nations.

A Century of Peace

Ladies and gentlemen, your coming to this place is not an accident. Nothing happens by accident. I feel you are ordained to be here. You are chosen by God as champions of peace.  A new era is unfolding. With the cooperation of God and man together the twenty-first century will be a century of peace. 


If we are to see a world of peace happen, we should work tirelesly together for the next nine years.

If we do, we will be able to eliminate all obstacles which might hinder the attainment of peace.

If we are able to push forward, centered on God, we should be able to eliminate all obstacles which would hinder the attainment of peace.

This twenty-first century should be a righteous century full of hope.
Wealth will not be the dominating factor in this era.

Instead, the human spirit and soul will prevail.  The twenty-first centry is the era of unity between God and man.

It should be the era where a new awakening will come to every man.

They will realize that there is more benefit for himself when he serves others and lives for the sake of others.

In this century, selfishness will decline.  Life honor and glory based on unselfishness shall be triumphant.

These are the characteristics of the era for peace is approaching.

Now we have the opportunity for the Kingdom of Heaven on earth.  This century shall be hopeful and glorious.

To make this happen, the Federation for World Peace will provide the ideal and philosophy to educate the world's population. The Federation will assist spiritually, mentally and financially in the development of needy nations. The Federation will set a high moral standard and take a dynamic role in building a world of peace.


As you walk this path of restoration, you are the apostles of peace.  The bright new hope as well as a exciting new future awaits you.  We should fervently feel the desire to fulfill this great mission that has been bestowed upon us by God.

In order to achieve this sacred duty and historic responsibility of building everlasting peace on earth, we should dedicate our lives, fortunes and sacred honor with total commitment to this dispensation.

The first item on our agenda is to invite God into our individual hearts and those of our family, society, nation and world.

When God is with us, who shall be against us?

Respected friends, my beloved brothers and sisters, we are called to this sacred mission: to build a world of peace.

Our noble march shall begin today toward that glorious future.  Let us build a true world of peace together with God.

We Are Brothers, Sisters Without Parents

Throughout history, mankind has exerted all kinds of efforts to bring about world peace through war, religion, philosophy and political powers to no avail.

People had no way to truly and eternally unite.

This is because they were all brothers and sisters who were like orphans who have lost their parents to teach the true way of how one should be.

Humankind lost their parents when the first parents of humankind followed the wrong direction and could not pass down God's true path for living to their descendants on to us.

There was no way to unite our own minds and bodies centered on God without any trace of sin.  Therefore, there was not a path to unite with one another.

If parents had truly followed God and had sinless children, everything in history would have developed through the unconditional love of the original parents.

The first brothers and sister, Cain and Abel, would have united centered on their parents' love, but this could not be achieved.

Adam and Eve were unable to show their family the true love of God through example.

Everyone needs True Parents no matter what position they hold.

The reason God established the nation of Israel and the Jewish faith was in order to build a sturdy foundation of protection to receive the Messiah.

When the Jewish people could not follow Jesus to the end and could not follow him as God's son, God created Christianity in order to receive the Lord of the Second Advent.

The returning Lord will be called the True Parents because they will reverse the mistake of the fall of the first parents who brought sin into the bloodline.

For True Parents to appear is the hope of humankind, is the hope of history, the hope of the nations, the hope of philosophy, and the hope of the providence.

The True Parents coming to earth is what all of history has hoped for to reverse the sins of humanity and will only happen once.

You are alive to witness and breathe the same air as the True Parents.

What kind of people are the True Parents?

Do you think your parents are the same as True Parents without a trace of sin?

In terms of love, your parents have a different concept.

Your parents' love is centered on the earthly realm of living, while the love of True Parents teaches about love that is centered on the spiritual ream.

Therefore, the content is very different.

Democracy is an ideology of brotherhood.  Above that ideology is the parent-centered ideology.

Do you decide who will be your parents through an election?  You cannot.

Democracy has the basis to foster atmosphere of distrust.  Why?

Because people in politics have done all kinds of things for their own profit.  They use their money to mobilize manpower, plot against each other, slander them and so forth.

True Parents give birth to humankind through true love

You have been born with the sinful blood lineage of false parents who were chased away from Heaven with no connection to God or true parents.

In order to go in the opposite direction and cleanse this fallen lineage, you must trample that lineage again and again and pull it out again and again.

Without changing your satanic lineage at the most basic level in this way, you cannot enter the heavenly world.

In transforming the lineage, unless the condition for victory is fulfilled through binding God's love to the seed of the children of the future, God's child cannot be born in the future.  This is a logical certainty.

What kind of savior is the savior who is demanded by the fallen people?

He should be one with God's will and receive God's love and blessing in the position of unfallen parent.  He must be the savior who is able to give birth to humankind, otherwise people will not be able to disconnect to the original sin with him as the model to follow.

Even though the Messiah can change your lineage, you yourself have to attend, act and walk the bloody path in order to change it.

If you do not have such a standard, we cannot reach the path of salvation.  This is not achieved easily, but only in a situation where your life is at stake.

This change of blood lineage is possible only when you fulfill a forty-day fasting and prayer condition or experience a state of death in which you are vomiting blood - a cleansing of the sinful blood.

Why do we need True Parents?

We need to take root in the realm of the heart.

Now, there is a different root.  Through the Fall, the trunks and branches become different.  Now a new root of history has emerged.  A trunk and branches grew, and you are being engrafted to this true tree.

Therefore, in order to be recreated without traces of the fall, you should cut yourself down, reject your fallen acts and become engrafted.

You must remove everything from the satanic world down to the root.

Because history did not have the example of a perfected person, a person without the trace of the fall, there was no way for humanity to go in the right direction or see that their ways were fallen.

They needed an example of the true way to follow and that is through the coming of the True Parents.

What do we all desire?

We all want to welcome the True Parents who will establish a global nation.  Your sons and daughters would want to be born in the lineage of True Parents, not your own fallen, sinful lineage full of abuse, lies, disease problems and such.

Therefore, True Parents become the starting point of the new future.

True Parents should correct the false lineage, the root of the satanic world, reverse the false life which we live everyday, and open the true path away from the path of false love.

Once false love disappears, infidelity, divorce will disappear.

What does the paradox in the Bible mean, those who wish to die will live, and those who wish to live will die?

This is because as you walk this path of ridding yourself of the satanic blood lineage you must die, your humanistic, sinful self must die. But through this 'death', you live.

Those who cling to their fallen ways and live, ultimately die in spirit.  The world is full of people who are zombies without a soul enriched in God's love.

True Parents walked a tremendous path of suffering to lay a foundation for you and I to follow out of hell.

Complete salvation, which is no connection to satan or sin, is only possibly through True Parents.  Complete salvation is both spiritual and physical.

Jesus could only accomplish the spiritual realm of salvation, but he himself lost his own physical body to satan.

True Parents have brought salvation to our bodies as well, where we can have complete mind and body unity centered on God where Satan cannot invade.

No one can sever the relationship between True Parents and their True Children.

It is eternal and unchanging destiny.  There is only one path toward God, there is no secret method.  All of humanity from the President to the homeless man, must walk this path.

True Parents bring people of the world together who have walked this path to cleanse their fallen blood lineage and marry them together.

Therefore, they transcend racial differences, cultural differences and good people marry bad people.

True Parents deny evil love, evil life, and evil lineage, but they do not abandon Cain who disobeyed God and killed Abel, rather they bless him at the same level.

Therefore, 'bad' people as well will join in this dispensation, thereby completely expelling Satan from this earth.

The Fall occurred through the false marriage in the Garden of Eden. So, True Parents reverse this by marrying people in the proper way approved directly by God.

They sweep away the bad deeds of the false parents and abolish hell and carry out the work to bless billions of ancestors in the spirit world through the foundation of the earthly descendants which is based on true love.

Furthermore, through the foundation of such families, East and West form a connection.

We as God's adopted sons and daughters should connect to God's true son.

We must cut off the wild olive tree and engraft a bud from the true olive tree.  Then create a movement of wild olive trees becoming true olive trees.

You should first long for the Parents.

You receive salvation by attending the Parents based on their being your motivation for life, the entirety of your hope and the root of all your ideals and happiness.

You should have the conviction that you are a son or daughter who can become eternally one with True Parents.  Otherwise rebirth will not come.

You might think that you have your natural parents and you are fine?

Why do you need spiritual parents?

It is because you are fallen and you have no direct relationship or blood ties with God, thus passing on the fallen blood lineage of Satan.

What do false parents teach?

They have taught you the way to continuously deteriorate centered on yourself.

They have helped you chase away the better part, more than half of yourself.  This creates a clear line that keep you eternally bonded to the satanic world based on the false love of your parents.

There is no other way to cut this off other than attending the True Parents.

On the other hand, True Parents teach you greater and greater things on this foundation so that you can be fit for the heavenly kingdom.

They equip you with the tools so that you can keep in rhythm after you go to the eternal kingdom.  They teach you so that you will be able to breathe the air of love which is the atmosphere in the spirit world.

True Parents teach you the true way of God.

Family Members Should Not Live For Self

Once a person reaches the world level, he must come back and make contact with the lower levels of the nation, society, tribe, family, and his spouse, then he is ready to move out toward the world level again. Such a person will be welcomed everywhere around the world, no matter where he goes. He will be sought after by all other peoples and cultures.

We know deeply in our minds that this principle is the true way for a person to advance to his fullest potential.

Surely, you want to go in the direction which Father wants to go, but since we cannot all go to the same place at the same time, we are spread out all over the world constantly changing positions with each other.

Why do you witness and do missionary work with such enthusiasm?

You desire to get good results, but you also want to return home with a proud report.

In that sense, you return to the reason of your activity and don't stay at the same level of result.  This is how you unite the result with the cause.

We know that man is not a causal being but a resultant being. 

Can anyone boast that they brought themselves into being?  Did they created themselves?

It would be natural that a being of result will want to know and become one with the world.  Eventually, he will desire to unite with God, who is the ultimate causal being, and report both his good and bad experiences to Him.

The resultant being wants to share his life with the causal being.

Every part of the process goes back to our cause, which is God.

Is this fact made up or is it true that returning to God is the ultimate path for all mankind?

You are right if you said yes.

Every pair in existence has two tendencies: to move toward the center and to move toward the center and to move toward the outer expression.

Nothing is randomly in motion.

Two controlling factors determine the way everything moves: one pushes the object in a certain way, the other in a certain way.

These two direction always exist to ensure the purposefulness of the object's motion. In this manner the motion of going from the causal point to the resultant point is continually repeated.

This is the way the universe moves.

Your mind and body delights in having good give and take during your lifetime.  A person that has good give and take is a happy person.

A man that has this kind of harmony, wants and needs to meet a woman with that harmony.

Together they want to have good give and take that they achieve between their individual minds and bodies.

You receive direction from Father and you work hard to achieve your goals.

We have the idea within the church to achieve a good give and take relationship between the subject and object.  Then you return to Father with good result.

Through living this way, we expand the influence of goodness to the largest level.  A person may live according to this ideal for a while, but then will start to criticize and complain with the direction that is given.

We can use the illustration of baseball.

Imagine that the catcher stands behind the batter to catch every ball the pitcher throws.  Do you think that the catcher is judging which ball he wants to catch and which one he wants to let pass him?

No, he is determined to catch every ball that is pitched.

Even if the pitcher was to throw a curve ball, the catcher would still reach out and may even turn all the way around in a circle as he catches it.

There is not one catcher that would just stand still in front of a fast ball and try to stop its motion with a stiff arm.  He will catch it with a turning motion, and absorb the strength of the pitch.  Thus, his actions contains a quality of beauty.

You should change your thinking to when you make some motion, even raising your hand, that you are moving with the universe.

This principle of motion applies to everything in a person's life.

Today, many American young people think they have such a great life enjoying their time with their friends while ignoring their homes and their families.

If they were truly experiencing a great time, they would naturally come back home and have an equally great time with their parents and family.  Unfortunately, the trend is for young people not to see their parents as valuable.

They say that they are part of the 'older generation' and then ignore them completely.  Could this be called a complete and great life?

The truly natural way of enjoying life for a teen is for them to go out, have a great time and then return home and share his experience with his grandparents and the whole family.

It is unnatural to go out have a good time and then go home and isolate yourself from the rest of the family.

Would a grandparent or parent want to have such a child come back home?  To live in the family that does not interact would be a painful existence.  If the youngster lives in his own world without sharing his life in a positive way, the family will feel offended.

Most people do not understand the universal reasons why it is good for the child to share his experiences with the family.

Now you know that going out and coming back in harmony is the law of the universe, and no one can live happily in violation of this law. 

A person who lives according to this law is a person of health, and a natural person.

Others will seek him out and desire to learn from him the proper way to live.  He will naturally become a teacher to the people who don't know how to live naturally and harmoniously.  This is the principle standard for what a man should be.

Do we see this in our American families, where each are able to speak freely sharing their experiences with one another on a daily basis?

The person who lives according to the law and standard of harmony should become the natural center and leader.  He will be welcomed by everybody, not only in his own country, but the rest of the world will embrace him.

This is the criterion God uses.  It is all the standard of all things in the universe.  All creation already lives by this standard even if man chooses not to do so.

Then it is natural that those who leave this protective boundary of this principle of harmony will gradually lose power.

As we grow up, we gather and absorb all the elements of our environment.  But once we are grown and physically mature, we start giving ourselves to our surroundings.  As we age, we become physically smaller not bigger.  When a person dies, his body returns to the earth completely.

Whether it is invisible or visible, everything is guided by this cycle.

When we look in history, it is clear that those people who are still recognized hundreds of years later are those who lived for the sake of the world.  It does not matter whether the person lived in the east or the west, or if he was white or black.

The person who lives for something greater than himself becomes an eternal being.

The one who can give the most for the sake of the world is the person the world wants to remember most.  Look at a few examples before thinking that this is just a hasty conclusion.  Everything in principle can be applicable to your own life.

Even the physical world of mineral, vegetable and animal kingdoms and the spirit world are all guided by the same principles which we have been discussing in this blog.  God Himself is guided by these principles.  We can begin to relate with God in an intimate way.

We can talk and have a deep personal relationship of give and take with Him.  We can even dance with God.

All men want to perfect their character and their natures because they need to come back to that cause, God.

What if there was a meeting of all of the superior people from each part of the world.  Would there be a struggle among them to figure out who is the best of the best?  Can such fighting bring about a decision?  

In fact, such a decision would have to be agreed upon unanimously by all on their own volition.
The greatest person there would be the one that everyone recognizes having something the rest of them want or lack.

Naturally, they would want him to become their leader.  A person who has an universal characteristic of every direction is the one who is acknowledged by those from every direction of east, west, north and south.  This is simple logic.

You have been trained to become such an universal person.  Even well-educated western members have willingly gone to poor countries to offer their time and effort to help the people raise their standard of living.

In the past, Western countries gave out their best people to lesser developed nations only to gain dominion over them.  We have reversed this.

We take the best person and send him to a backward country in order to live in the worst conditions.  This person though is to raise up the people to a better position instead of raising himself over them and thus keeping them in a miserable position.

Do we do this because we try to be different?

No, we go this way because this is the original, true way no matter how many people have gone in the opposite direction.

This is the law of the universe, and if anyone goes against it, he will eventually perish.

We have sent missionaries from America, Germany, and Japan because they can represent the developed nations.  They each come from nations with a history of never wanting to bow down to others.  Among them, the most willing to sacrifice for the sake of others should be the leader.

If America was to continue along her current path, she will be despised by the poorer nations.  The black people of Africa who are struggling in poverty and misery will turn against the predominantly white America.

We see the trend now where all the people around the world are beginning to wish bad things would happen to America.

Recently the royal baby was condemned by many people sometimes showing side-by-side pictures of a poor child in Africa next to the royal couple holding the new baby.

When you compare this to when Prince William was a baby and was well accepted worldwide we see that the Western society is losing ground.  At that time, America and Europe were looked toward as the ideal nations.

As this resentment toward the developed countries continues to spread, the voices of negativity will become stronger and stronger.

According to the principle of the universe, if there are many, many people who wish you to decline, then there is no way to avoid that decline.

If a person, nation or entity boasts about their great success, if it does not connect itself back to its cause, that entity cannot continue to exist.  This is happening everywhere.

The once jubilant American family is breaking down in relationships between the younger and the  older generations.

Also, there is rarely a good give and take between the American president and the citizens.

Somehow people have come to use an economic standard as the measure of their success. 

Economic concerns and money are only a result.

If this nation continues to only be concerned with money, which does not connect itself with the causal element, the consequences for this nation will be terrible.  

Of course, there is nothing wrong with having money or economic success, but why is money necessary?  

If we only desire to have money so we can live well, then this is the wrong attitude.

Money is the result of a fruitful cause and is meant to serve the purpose of that cause.  The purpose behind wealth is to make God happy when He is able to look at a healthy, good world.

America needs its money only in order to make the world a better place, the way God intended it to be.

Once you understand the purpose of having money, then it is fine for you to acquire it.

Even if you were to only be concerned for the nation, you still want to use your money in order to reverse the destructive trends in America.

What if someone wanted to use their money to make their parents' lives more comfortable and easy.

Everyone will approve such a person having and spending their money for the sake of a larger purpose than just himself.

If a person clings to his money for his own selfish purposes, even his own parents will not approve of him.

A person who lives for the sake of the whole world is welcomed in any place and has unlimited freedom of movement around the world.

However, if a person wants to live in a small self-centered way, all the elements of the universe will wish him ill.

Self-made millionaires who only live to acquire their wealth for themselves will never be truly loved or welcomed by the world, especially if he hurts others in his quest for money.  Such people are violators of the universal law.

Therefore, their success is not seen as a virtue, but as a manifestation of their sinfulness.

Money is not the only thing that falls under this principle.  Also, knowledge can be used improperly depending on whether one uses it for the sake of others or just to take advantage for his own personal goals.

The same can be said of position and prestige.  All of these things listed must be guided by the principle of harmony, then there is nothing wrong with wanting to obtain them.

When a person is in violation of this principle, someone else who doesn't seem to have much power may start to criticize the unrighteous one.  Eventually, the unrighteous person will become the loser, not the one who is in a 'lesser' position than him.

Now, we have a clearer picture of how to live, we need not to criticize others.  The only thing we need to do is go the right way.

We will continue to make money and spend it for the sake of the sake of the world.

If you see that someone else does not want to spend their money for a greater purpose, just leave him alone.  Certainly, it will not benefit him to live that way.

Don't despair, it does not matter who is great, powerful and wealthy today.  Those who live by the Principle actually are becoming the great people of the future.   The way of non-Principle is the way of decline.

The way of the Principle is the way of success.

Pompeii, Roman Empire Fell From Within

One individual may seem to be very insignificant, but each one is the product of history. 

This person represents the history of the past, present and future of his family, nation and also world.

Nowadays, we think that ancient nations are isolated and separated from the rest of the world, but in this day and age all of the nations are united by one destiny.

The societies and cultures of the world are becoming mixed together moving toward a united world.

The world of nature is already one in perfect harmony. 

Take for example the fact that the air we breathe can travel all over the world without any limitation.  A storm doesn't just stay in one confined area, but moves across whole continents and oceans.

Flocks of birds also migrate over the whole continent of North America.  Once the birds return, it is a refreshing reminder that a new season has arrived.

Nature harmoniously intermingles without conflict, but what about men who are placed higher than the natural world?  Men put up tremendous barriers and obstacles between each other.  Just to go from America to Canada, one has to get a visa and check through customs.  Does anyone enjoy this kind of procedure?

Some nations in Asia observe a better system where travelers only need a passport.

Some nations don't even want to see a passport and think it a dull system.  With this kind of trusting treatment from such a nation, you hope God's blessing on that country.

Why does the human world which is higher than nature, experience such division and deapartments?!

Basically, it is because men do not bide in accordance with some principles or standards.

In order to have harmony, men must live in accordance with some basic principle.

A law or principle is always enacted to benefit the nation or all of humanity.

Not just one individual.  This is unavoidable no matter how inconvenient it is, because some people disregard that particular principle so it must be reinforced.

Throughout their life, everyone acquires certain habits which becomes a long-lasting behavior.    Families as well as societies also collect habits which develop into what we label as traditions or cultural behavior.

Great thinkers will try to come up with a simple way of living in the world that will unify the world and get rid of the division and separate ways of living.

They will wonder why there can't be certain laws created that can be liked by everyone on earth that will promote and guarantee that everyone profits and benefits with those laws.

Those unifying laws must have continuity between the past, present and future and must not serve different purposes at different times.


The President of the United States is responsible for America, and a President of the world would think about the world.  Those two presidents and God would all be thinking differently because their areas of responsibility are separate. We have to consider what would be of benefit to America, the world and the whole universe at the same time.


From the American viewpoint, the most important thing would be national sovereignty or power.

Cruel things are going on in the name of national security. 

There is a lot of underhanded dirty activity in order to maintain superiority in knowledge.

For instance, if a person was a double agent, after his mission and purpose is accomplished, he may be murdered in the name of protecting national sovereignty.

There are power struggles in the financial world and competition between nation over computer technology.  Would these be the most important things a nation needs?

Of course love is needed.

You can't live off of love, so why do you like it?  What does love do for you when you are hungry?  Love can't produce money, knowledge or power either.


There must be some law that can be enacted which, from the point of view of God and religion, will protect and advance the benefit of all mankind. There must be a solution for the world.  America has power and sovereignty, plus lots of money and knowledge, so it seems to have everything. But is it declining or continuing to prosper? 


Will American wealth be able to stop this decline?  What about Christianity in America, is it declining or increasing?  What about teens in America?  Are they rising and moving forward or morally corrupt?
Not only are the youth declining, but they are just the same as living corpses with no future.

What about New York and other big cities in America?  Is it declining or staying prosperous?

America is also losing its edge in technology. 

Ask God what it can do.  The supremacy of white influence is fast declining.  Black and yellow people are quickly gaining.  The Japanese are making high-quality products that are less expensive than those that the Western nations produce.

Even in the sports area, other nations see that black people emerge as the champions.  People in other nations may only see America through watching sports, so they may think that because blacks dominate sports that America is a black nation.

Black people are rising and also in the music industry and now with the first black president,

We can see that in history, the powerful Roman empire collapsed not from an external war, but through immorality within its own national boundaries tearing it at its fabric of the nation.

The famous city of Pompeii was destroyed by a volcano.  Centuries later through excavation it was  seen why: the citizens of Pompeii were focused only on free sex, drinking and sensual ungodly pleasures.

History shows us one important law-whenever a society becomes morally corrupt it faces a quick downfall. 

This is not just someone's opinion, this is a lesson of history.

It does not matter what culture, race or nation you belong.  Even if you are wealthy, this law is consistent.  Moral corruption is an incurable disease.  It usually takes over a nation with its infestation which has much money, power and knowledge.

It is easy to see that America today is in the same position as the Roman Empire was centuries ago.  America has the wealth, power, resources and knowledge.  Everyone thinks it is a great country, but in reality the people within suffer from the worst internal disease.

History shows that any nation that catches this disease always declined, no matter how high they have climbed.  No nation has ever been cured of this immoral disease, just destroyed.

One symptom: the youth are given no discipline in how to run their lives.

They become promiscuous. This behavior multiplies through the family leading the nation to become undisciplined and permissive as well.  When you see that arrogance of the American people you wonder how under these condition such prosperity can continue.

The greatest disease is not that of poverty. Poverty can be cured.

Poverty can be cured through determination to develop an economic capacity and through hard work and industriousness.  Knowledge is gained by hard study, power gained through unity of effort,
 by hard work and applying some ingenuity to developing an economic capacity.

But this disease we see of illicit love is not easily cured.  This love disease which spreads throughout America, is worse than the war on drugs.  Because if it drains one's motivation to be good and productive.

When a person catches this love disease, he does not care about money, knowledge or the well-being of his country.

That disease is terminal because it leads to destruction.

Can you say that Americans are close to enjoying the ideal love in their lives, or are they far away?

What if your father was very successful, but he and your mother fought so much that they divorced.? It would not mater how much money you have, he would still look like a miserable man.

When children become involved in immoral practices, their parents also become weakened. 

Why do we need love?

How is it possible for love to be strong enough to solve all human problems?

God made love supremely powerful.  This has not changed all throughout history.  Therefore, when love is used in the right way, it is the most constructive.  This will not change in the present or the future.

America is a great country with a Constitution and a code of law.  But this country is like a desert in the area of love.

American people's way of thinking can be corrupted.  They might not see anything wrong with a mother and son having relations.

Promiscuous sex makes humans look like animals, which have no rules about love. 

Humanity is corrupted through the misuse of love.

There has never been an outbreak of sexual diseases in the animal world because they do not have a spirit.  Venereal diseases are rampant in America; most young people have experienced it at one time.
It does not matter how much money one has, what kind of children, or fruit will they bare?

Why does man who is supposed to be higher than the animal kingdom experience such diseases?

God gave it as a punishment, as proof that the law of love is one that even He can and will not bend for anybody under any circumstances.

America's problem is not a shortage of money or knowledge or power, but one of love. 

Mother Teresa had made a statement after working hard for the sick and diseased in India that when she came to America when drugs were becoming rampant, that she could cure the sick in India, but the spiritual and love problem of America was a tougher cause.

Americans should be asking themselves, what can they do to help remedy this situation?

Before learning about this sacred law of keeping our sexual organs for only our spouse and joining the church, you may have been promiscuous or had a sexual disease.  Now, you understand that love is supremely powerful and unchanging from past, present and future.

Love has been misused and has led man into ultimate destruction, so we must look for some discipline of love.

Through true love we should be able to bring man back to God's original purpose and achieve again unchanging prosperity.

Where would we be able to find such discipline?

God would not worry about money or power or knowledge when He is trying to correct the human problems.  His efforts will be focused on solving the problem of love.  The misuse of love is where the root of the problem lies.

God's concern is far more than the salvation of men; He plans for the salvation of love. 

Once we are able to place love back into its original position as God planned at the Creation, then we have solved the problems of the past, present and future.  We then bring mankind back to the original ideal God designed.

Many people of faith forget the main function of the religious mission which is to solve the basic human problems.  They can get lost in the traditions, judgments and battles among themselves..  What use is it for God to save you, if you are to abuse love again?

If you just keep repeating the same mistakes of the fall, which is the misuse of the sexual organs, what good does this do for God's dispensation?

A true policymaker in Washington would be one who places his concerns about America's future for the next one hundred thousand years using this kind of high-level thinking.

What if America continued on the way it is head?

What kind of family would we see in the future?  What would be the relationship between children and parents, and brothers and sisters?  Also, those who love nation and all of humanity should concentrate to find solutions of love.

They should find the kind of discipline that is necessary for a happy home and family for the generations to come.

Many people, like in the Israelites time, anticipate that the Messiah will return to save them.  But he does not return just for the development of one nation or to build up economic strength.  These are secondary.

The Messiah comes for the primary salvation of love.  

He will teach to discipline the standard of love which will enable it to blossom into the concept God envisioned in His original ideal. This kind of love has the power to create the ideal family and world for which we long.

The world doesn't need any other kind of Messiah, but the one who comes for this one purpose.

Many people view the economic and political turmoil as the number one human problem.  The Messiah understands that the problem of love is the major problem we face today.  By solving this problem, we can help render other problems.

The Messiah comes to bring judgment to society's corrupt moral standard: clean up adultery, homosexuality and sex before marriage.

Promiscuity is the worst disease man is suffering from, for which man has no hope.

The Messiah lifts them up through the Completed Testament to a higher level of love.

God searches for people to be part of a movement here on earth which is dedicated to solving this basic moral problem.  This group and the solution to this problem can be only found in the religious world.

The Islamic world has strict regulations on how women dress and conduct themselves which goes too far.

On the other hand, American women go the other extreme and wear less and less clothing and people hug and kiss wildly in the street.

Would any man want to see his fiancée or wife embracing another man?

A man is very generous minded compared to woman, but even so he cannot stand seeing his woman hugging another man. If a woman saw her man hugging another woman, her tiny mind just couldn't stand it!

Is there any difference between Eastern and Western women in this respect?

Has this standard changed over the centuries?  What about in the future?  Whether you are in primary school or a university professor you know this standard is true.

Is it bad to have money?

If it is nicer to have more money than less money, and more knowledge than less knowledge, then isn't it better to have more husbands and wives? Here in America children frequently have more than one mother and father because their parents marry several times.

Wouldn't you enjoy having that many parents so you can have many allowances and gifts on holidays?

Is this a sign of happiness to have this many husbands and parents?

This is a sure sign of tragedy.

No one truly wants more than one mother and one father, but who will bring the solution to this marriage problem in America?

America would not allow a dictator to rule, but if he was to put love in it proper perspective, they may vote and welcome him.


If you ask what we can do because we don't have enough money, you aren't asking the right question. If you ask what we can do if we don't have enough power or knowledge, you still aren't asking the right question. But, if you ask how we can bring a standard and discipline of love then you are on the right track.

If a little nation has no power, money or knowledge but it does have a discipline of love and lives morally in the sight of God, that nation will not envy another nation. 

That nation already has everything it needs for its citizen's happiness.

Eventually, people from other places will bring prosperity to that small nation and go there to live because they see that nothing else brings happiness.  People who have finally lost hope in love are like leaves fallen from the tree.

Why is a supposedly Christian nation such as America suffering from the disease of the misuse of love?

The Bible is specific about God-centered love, but America has become degraded from its original godly path.   Why do we keep shying away from this question?  Why doesn't the church teach about the proper use of sex?

God does not tolerate this kind of behavior in America.  Christian ministers are unable to escape the clenched fist of God's judgement on these matters


Decades ago, I predicted that America would decline. What can we do here? We do fund raising because we are here to make lots of money, right? Are we here to get smart and be knowledgeable? Are we here to get political power? If you don't have those things then what is left?


In the meantime, as you do the work in the Completed Testament age, you are persecuted and ridiculed.  Father has been accused of having evil intentions in his efforts to save American society from its immoral behavior.

Why is this so?  He is the secret source to help.  So, God tells the people who try to get rid of him that they cannot do it because they need him like a sick person needs a doctor.

Father's messianic work in America is powerful.

He was able to break down the barriers between the East and the West, and between the whites and the blacks.  He set up God's standard of discipline for love.

Anyone who is interested in genuine, pure true love has to study Rev. Moon and his teachings.  This would include national and world leaders. "I have a very real power which no other leader has: young people want my permission to love through arranged marriages. That's real power, isn't it?"

The time is here for all five races to gather and ask the question, "What can we do, God, in order to find the right love so we can be saved and we can prosper? We need only true love!" 

How serious are you in finding true love and the solution tp the misuse of true love?

Would you stand or bend fervently on your knees praying?  Would you smile or have teared-stained cheeks, nose and mouth dripping?  Are you that serious?

Right now, you receive many curses from people.  Let them do so.  In the future, many people will inevitably be climbing over walls to attend lectures to learn the solution for love.

People of faith must take responsibility for the historical problem of love and ask Him for permission to take care the problem for Him.  If you were to ask Him what was the most serious problem He ever had to face in human history, He would replay: "Yes, the problem of love has pierced my heart over and over all these years more than any other problem." That is God's primary problem and work.

Messiah in the Millennium

We can see many things in the parables which are told in the bible when we look at them as more than just a story on the surface and more than just a lesson for those of that modern time.  When we see the messages and representation of each parable, a whole world of mystery is unlocked when it comes to the Bible.

There was a man who had two sons. He went to the first and said, ‘Son, go and work today in the vineyard.’  “‘I will not,’ he answered, but later he changed his mind and went.  “Then the father went to the other son and said the same thing. He answered, ‘I will, sir,’ but he did not go.  “Which of the two did what his father wanted?”“The first,” they answered.


Matthew 21:28-31


Jesus said to them: 

“Truly I tell you, the tax collectors and the prostitutes are entering the kingdom of God ahead of you.  For John came to you to show you the way of righteousness, and you did not believe him, but the tax collectors and the prostitutes did. And even after you saw this, you did not repent and believe him."

Even though Jesus said this to his own people over two thousand years ago, it may apply to the religious and people of faith to this day.  When we look at the surrounding synagogues and religious leaders and we see who actually followed Jesus to a certain point in his life, which was more likely the ones prepared to follow the Messiah in his time?  

As Jesus told those who thought they held a high position in front of others to God, the believers were the very people he said were not qualified to enter heaven.  Even people told Jesus that he was a blasphemer for not washing his hands, not observing the Sabbath and living and working among the uncleaned.  In their eyes, they were the judge, ruler and all over who was to enter the kingdom of heaven.  

This parable warns us not to be judges of other's heart.


Heaven on Earth in 7 Years

God had prepared for the Second Coming to bear fruit through the Second World War.  He had intended that Christianity as the bride culture to be the center of His will to totally unite the Allied countries of America, England and France.  This unity would have brought the Kingdom of God on earth through this victory and God's Kingdom would spread all over the world.

The Divine Principle teaches that these allied countries were equivalent to the God-like mind or an Abel and the enemy countries of Japan, Germany and Italy were like the fallen, sinful body or a Cain (who murdered his God-like brother).  Within seven years from 1945, if the world had united after World War II the Kingdom of God would have been established.

This is what is forseen in Revelations of the marriage Supper of the Lamb.  The messiah would come to bring God's original blessing of marriage which removes the fallen, sinful blood lineage which we currently inherit from our fallen parents and pass on generation to generation.

Based on such families where sin is eradicated through the blessing marriage of the Messiah, would be sent out all over the world to build the Kingdom of God on earth and it would have been a piece of cake.

Therefore, centering on this Christian culture, absorbing and digesting the satanic, secular culture would have been easy.  Instead, we chose the opposite way, the satanic way and communism was thus born.

But, because of the failure of Christianity right after World War II, democratic countries such as America have been used as a kind of base for communist propaganda and all kinds of secular crimes, such as sexual, drug and juvenile problems. All kinds of social problems are rampant all over the world that wasn't on the societal level until after World War II because of the failure at that time for the nations to unite.

God had blessed America as the central country as the tool to build the Kingdom of God on earth, but as we observe in our society today, it is the total opposite of God's will.  Now, America has become the source of all kinds of evils and social evils all over the world.

Therefore Reverend Moon from the beginning, right after World War II, has been standing alone to fight against this evil force from the individual level, family level, and worldwide level.

All kinds of opposition and persecution have been there; however, Father overcame all those stages of opposition and persecution and right now the time has come that the world is welcoming Reverend Moon with both arms.


The Beginning of Hell

Of course it was a human tragedy that Adam and Eve fell away from God. Then at the time of Jesus Christ, who came as the messiah, mankind betrayed him and lost him; that was another tragedy.

God faced the tragedy of Adam and Even and walking from His true direction.  Another tragedy was when mankind betrayed Jesus Christ by not following his path.  The worst tragedy God suffered was to watch the second messiah reject the True Parents who reversed Adam and Eve's mistake.  Humanity rejected, persecuted him.  America, Korea, Japan played a role in opposing and persecuting Father of the Second Coming.

Right after World War II, upon the foundation of the unification of world Christianity, they could have received Father as the king upon their foundation of unity; then from that point on, the whole world could have been unified. However, because of the failure, Father walked his own course from the individual level to the worldwide level, all the way for forty years until now.

One thing Father wants you to remember is since May 1 of this year, which was the fortieth anniversary of the founding of the Unification Church, in seventy days Kim Il Sung passed away.

God had tried to restore Adam and Eve's mistake through their children Cain and Abel.  There were to become filial sons and daughters who followed the true path of God and love their parents in the position of kings and queens naturally.  Instead, we know that Cain could not follow his filial brother Cain disrupting God's way to restore the world through them...He had to wait until a filial son such as Noah was born.

One thing we have to understand, as Father said, right after World War II, centering on Christianity, if the entire world had accepted and welcomed Father as the messiah, Kim Il Sung wouldn't have appeared in the history of mankind, Communism would never have existed if the world naturally through the Christian faith followed.

Kim Il Sung and his son, the Soviet Union and communism is falling at the knees spreading their God-denying beliefs around the world.  Now an opportunity to bring God's kingdom to earth has been established.

Father predicted even earlier that no matter how hard communism may try, before the eighth leader communism would fall. So Gorbachev was the eighth head of state of the former Soviet Union. If you read Father's speech book some time ago Father predicted that.

"It's not a coincidence. Think about it; communism fell within these eight different heads of state and also Kim Il Sung passed away seventy days after May 1 of this year, exactly seventy days. That's the way, when it comes to the history of mankind and history of any providential countries, it doesn't go by random happening; it goes by the formula of history.

If the world had accepted Father as the messiah, savior, right after World War II, a large scale of movement of God-centered families would have taken place across the world. For example, because Father would have blessed in God's direct holy marriage and millions and millions of couples interracially, internationally, and intercontinentally who would follow their spouses and families from one continent to another continent, one nation to another nation, this kind of movement would have taken place all over the world right after the world.

So that way by doing so a new political system and national system would have taken place. In other words, centering on Blessed couples, Blessed families, a new culture and new civilization would have been formed. That was God's plan. But because of the failure right after the world war it didn't take place and it took forty years for Father until today.

Now since communism has declined, Christianity must be united; it doesn't matter, Catholicism or Protestantism, they should be united to chase away all these social evils and crimes.

That's our responsibility.

In other words, the direction of all the minds of the people in the world is now clear towards God, so opposition, opposing power is getting weakened and almost disappearing in the world.

All the horizontal brothers and sisters in the world and all the parents of the world must be united together and start building the Kingdom of God on earth as well as in heaven.

This is the significance of the motto centering on True Parents. Centering on the True Parents, all the Blessed couples will be in the position of object and their children will follow as well. In other words, the time has come that all the people in the world without any exceptions, must receive the marriage Blessing from True Parents.

So what's the meaning of the Completed Testament Age? 

This is the time that God's ideal of love is to be accomplished and perfected by fulfilling our five percent of responsibility on earth. It's like Adam and Eve without falling, in other words doing their five percent of responsibility to perfect themselves and build the perfect family.

When it comes to the Fall of man, we're talking about the fall of the original Adam's family. When you look at the families here, the world here, on the right-hand side heavenly families standing; on the left-hand side satanic families standing, horizontally they are on the same level.

So, in the course of restoration the positions will be changed, like from left to right and from right to left. The elder brother goes in the position of younger brother and the younger brother, as elder brother. This is the time.

Of course there are many super nations, big countries and small countries all over the world, but as long as our fatherland Korea, south and north, is divided into Cain and Abel, the world, all the countries, will be divided into Cain nations and Abel nations. We have been working with North Korea in many different ways, in many different areas since Father's visit there.

Providentially speaking, now the time has come that North Korea must listen to Father, Reverend Moon. That's why Father's birthplace, Jung Ju, will be decorated and developed under the banner of Jung Ju Peace Park. The North Korean government will build a peace park in Father's birthplace.

So therefore, if mankind finds the place where they can build real peace on earth, then the entire world will pay attention to that.

The time has come. Also, the time has come that the intellectuals and scholars, the educated people come to understand that this is the time that beyond cultural, racial, and national barriers, beyond even your traditions and customs and habits centering on Christianity, mankind can find hope to build peace on earth."

Also, as you know Father established his foundation, built his career in helping those starving people, like twenty million people dying of starvation every year. So, Father has been working to save those people for the last twenty years. That has been recorded as his career.

Reverend Moon has focused on the oceanic enterprise preparing for the oceanic era.  He knows the resources in the ocean is just limitless with the abundance of fish laying millions and millions of eggs which we can hatch.

Because of Father's love and effort in these oceanic enterprises to save the people dying in hunger, now even in this country, people who know about the oceanic business have come to trust Father's ability.

So, how can we save those people who are dying of starvation, worldwide, because people are still dying.

When we look at a flourishing country in America where food is wasted and people are dieting to lose weight possibly due to overeating while in other place people are dying every moment.  If God was watching above us would He be happy to witness this event in the world?

Also, have you thought of any country, particularly rich countries like America and other developed countries, do you think they are really coming forward to be responsible to save all those poor countries who are losing thousands and thousands of lives every day because of hunger? They don't even dream.

When we look at the world in a broader sense, do rich countries like America truly try to take responsibility for this unfair distribution of resources and save the poorer countries who lose thousands of brothers/sister and mothers and fathers daily?  They don't even think about it.  Therefore, the term "True Parents" must be a formidable word to the billions and billions of parents who abandon their children who are dying by the millions.

Would a True Parent allow such abuse and neglect? The parents don't let their children die, they don't know how to save them.  From a True Parent's perspective, one cannot understand  why the children cannot be saved when there is plenty of land for animals and ocean where they can produce some type of food resources to save the children.

Surely, if people can live in those regions, then fish and animals can survive there as well as a resource.  Man was meant to be the superior being of creation, so why can't the starving nation find a way to bring fish and animals live abundantly as food supply?  Because they have not been taught the proper way to farm, raise animals, catch fish, hunt or build fish farms.  IT is a simple thought.  If one knows how to do these things such as catch fish and raise animals, would there be a reason to die from hunger?

Last time when Father Moon visited Brazil, he was told that there is one particular swamp area along the borderline between Paraguay and Brazil which is twice as big as the land of Japan. In that particular swamp area there are over 3,600 different species of fish. In that swamp alone, 3,600!

So, think about it, if we can utilize these different species of fish to do fish farming all over the world, where the lakes and rivers are abundant, we can feed the entire humanity. So Father's question is, since we know that we are losing over twenty million innocent lives every year because of starvation, what position should we take?

Should we just watch them die away every day, like forty thousand to sixty thousand people? Even if we starve, we skip our meals, we should do our absolute best to save their lives.

If, as the ratio goes, 200 people as a unit save one person's life every year, the entire five billion people can live together without losing lives because of starvation. Is that an impossible task for mankind? Even though Father's movement has been pouring money into this oceanic enterprise for the last twenty years, it has been losing money.

When organizations invest into such project there has been no profit but constant investing.  This is the same way God has been investing into mankind.  But we have learned through the Divine Principle that God continues to give and give because He does not remember what He has invested for the sake of mankind.

The True Parents as the messiah have silently invested every ounce of energy, material and spiritual power the same way in humanity even though they have denied their existence.  Because of this foundation and tradition, people are starting to bow their heads.

Those who have received the Blessing are to care for the entire mankind before their own family, this is the true way, the godly way.  Instead, the messiah is spearheading the dispensation while the families find that they cannot fully follow his direction without the wife and the children grabbing and holding them back.

What about Father's situation? Look at Father's own situation. While Father is leading, spearheading this entire worldwide movement such as, for example, the American headquarters, they are opening their hands for help from Father.

"Comparing to our own situations, whatever mission we may have, whatever businesses we are in charge of, the burden on Father's shoulders is maybe thousands of times heavier than ours. But, when we are in a difficult situation, instead of trying to help Father, lighten Father's burden, we come forward and ask for help from Father.

That has been our attitude. If that kind of family is in front of you, do you think that family has a future?

Father was told that last year and this year were the most difficult years in Japan. So, they almost lost hope and there was no light whatsoever. Have you really been worried about this kind of miserable situation, just like your own family situation? Have you? Has the entire movement? We must pay attention to that.

Last time when Father was in South America, Father was in a way shocked by imagining that if as much money as has been invested in America, was spent for the sake of South America, what kind of situation could we face today?

There's no racial discrimination. They are not arrogant people. When they see new immigrants coming from foreign countries, instead of discriminating against them, they help them and support them without any racial discrimination.

What about America? American people are so proud as the number one country in the world this is the way that America has been greeting the entire world instead of helping.

Even so, the reason Father has put effort and money into this country, billions and billions of dollars, is because Father knows that the center of Christianity is here in this country, America. That's why Father helped Christianity to be revived and to be restored to change the position from second son(Abel) to elder son(Cain).

The politicians, the media organizations, and scholars from universities all over the world: these are the three major powers which will move the world from now on. Along with these three major powers of the world, if we can inspire high school students and college students, the entire world will start to change. Do you follow?

In other words, once we revive high school kids and college students, this youth problem can be solved. How about now?

Satan has occupied all the youth all over the world, but we have to restore them back.

It doesn't matter what religion you may have been following, whether it's Christianity or Buddhism or whatever, the time for the first generation is gone; the time for the second generation is dawning. When we say second generation we are talking about high school kids and college kids.

That's why before Father left for Korea last time, Father asked you to focus on witnessing to the second generation people, high school students and college students. Don't worry about adults, so called adult people, because tribal messiahs are supposed to witness to them.

If we stick with witnessing to the first generation people all the time, then we will automatically lose second generation people. In other words, we will lose both. But if we stick with witnessing to the second generation people, we will save both first and second.

Do you follow?

When it comes to the course of restoration there is always Cain and Abel relationship; that's the formula. This is the formula for the restoration. Cain and Abel, Mother: this is individual, family, all the way to the eighth level, heaven and earth.

At the time of the Fall of man, centering on Satan and Adam, this mother's position was lost. Therefore, mankind was directed to hell. It's a formula just like in ourselves, where there is a Cain/Abel relationship between mind and body.

In other words, our body which is Cain has been controlling and subjugating our mind who is Abel. But actually it should be the other way around. Expansion of these individual Cain and Abel relationships within ourselves, mind and body, is the world Cain and Abel.

So, the Holy Spirit is in the position of mother. By doing so, the Holy Spirit in the mother's position will restore this Cain and Abel relationship.

The extension of these relationships appeared in World War II between Great Britain, America and France, with France in the position of Cain, America in the position of Abel and Great Britain in the position of mother, or the Holy Spirit.

But this time, instead of making a relationship with Satan and fallen Adam, the mother will unite with God and restored Adam, and naturally mankind will head for the Kingdom of God in heaven. This is on the worldwide scale.

This time the mother figure, the Holy Spirit position, will have to be united, her bridegroom who comes as the messiah naturally will become one with God. In other words, there is no way for anybody to be restored, to be saved again, unless they are born through the Holy Spirit, mother's spirit, again. Fallen humankind is standing in the Abel position.

From there you have to separate into half, and take the mind position. Cain and Abel divide and grow up. Abel grows up more. After that, the position of the elder and younger is exchanged. The authority changes. From there, we can go back to the original position-God's place. This is the formula.

So, that's why, when we look at the world, even in America, the husbands are in the position of archangel, and wives are in the position of mother, Eve's position. In other words, mothers must embrace all the children and restore them through her and eventually restore the husband, who is in the position of archangel to her.

Mostly, because of the wives, in other words, mothers' failure in this country, divorce takes place, because mothers couldn't really offer their love to embrace their children and build a solid family. In other words, the failure of America and free world is mostly because of women, wives.

Many wives and mothers are constantly bugging their husbands; instead of just blindly following True Parents and doing the missionary work or the spiritual work, they say: "Why don't you go to college and graduate school and learn skills so that you can make money?" And they are doing the same thing to their children.

When it comes to following the course of God's dispensation, is there anybody else who is more blindly following God's will than Father himself? (No.) That means that you may think that you have been just following God's will blindly all these years, but when you watch Father, Father is even a million times more blindly following God's will.

Do you think so? Then, after he has done that, did Father fail? (No.) Father has been supporting God's will all these years blindly without any reservation. We have all kinds of excuses.

Even after the Fall of man, Adam added many different excuses: "Oh God, I fell because of Eve." Eve's excuse was:

'God, Adam whom you created, didn't do his responsibility so we failed'. So they didn't admit their own mistake; nobody did. Usually we have a tendency to think: 'Oh well, I did what I could and I was right, but because of somebody else or because of some circumstances, the mistake took place'.

And former enemy countries like Japan, Germany, and Italy initiated World War II; they should become one now and belong to the messiah.

And if those six countries totally become one with the messiah, Rev. Moon, the world can be restored. Suppose you were born fifty years ago, and Rev. Moon came saying "I am the messiah"-would you believe in him as the messiah, 50 years ago?

But now you do not have any choice but believing in Father. Since Father declared Safe Settlement of True Parents and Completed Testament Age, all kinds of significant ceremonies have occurred. No matter what Father may say you understand the wisdom of receiving from Father, so keep your heart open to receive.

But because of the failure of these six countries receiving and welcoming Father as the messiah right after World War II, Father had to stand alone all those years, for forty years. During those forty years, Father had to overcome all the different levels of difficulties and persecutions.

He overcame all the hurdles, and from prison level, one after another, one by one, he was restoring and he came to this level today. Imagine how sad God and True Parents were when they knew that the entire world centering on Christianity should have accepted Father as the messiah of mankind, yet they failed right after World War II.

How sad they were. Can you imagine that? God was alone, think of that. If Father, Rev. Moon, had given up right after World War II, when the opposition took place and the entire world failed in welcoming Father, then God might have abandoned this entire world and started creating a new world and new mankind.

But Father said to God: 'God, please don't worry about it; I will take full responsibility and I will start from scratch again, alone'.

That's why, even if Father was in prison, Father never prayed to God to help him, he never shed tears because of pain. He always told God, 'Father, I am still alive. I will make it all the way through'. That has been Father's promise to God.

Each time Father was in prison he jumped one level and he went up another level. It was zigzag, but he was constantly progressing.

He never doubted. There was no room whatsoever to give any complaints centered on himself. Father was more than confident that he had to take this responsibility to restore back the entire mankind because of the fall of Adam and Eve.

Father prayed that "Of course the entire world is opposing me because of Satan, but even if God opposes me, I will go" because Father knew the course of indemnity. Think about it: Father had to indemnify the 4000 years of history in 40 years.

How difficult it was! These 40 years' course of indemnification ended this year, May 1, that's why Father came up with Safe Settlement of True Parents and Completed Testament Age; it is a great motto.

Perfection must take place on earth, completion, unity between mind and body must take place on earth, here. Of course, there have been millions and millions of different conflicts and battles and wars throughout history, but the final war among mankind is the battle between mind and body.

So, man and woman must be responsible; but we are in a much better situation, because we are taught by True Parents how to fight this war. When it comes to Father's level, Father had to deal with the entire world, all the different religions and nations and people to come up to this point.

But our responsibility is restoring ourselves, I mean, winning the battle between mind and body and establishing our family centered on True Love, and doing tribal messiahship up to 160 families. We can't trust secular people out there, we have to know that. If you give your total trust, you will always be hurt, you'll lose something.

Therefore, we Blessed couples must be united and give total trust to one another. Therefore, our course is clear: we must go through the completion as an individual, family, tribe and nation; we have to go that far-no exception."SMM
