The Love of a True Parent

What is a true parent?

Is there a nation where there are true parents, true families leading lives fully based on God's will?  Where did this position of humanity begin?

Imagine if Eve had resisted Lucifer's advances and then later did not tempt Adam. If they decided to live in accordance to God's will and waited until they had matured to eat of the fruit, what kind of individuals would they be?

The fruit, which was the sexual organs which bear the fruit of children, was not lethal when it was fully matured, but could cause death in its immaturity.  If they had waited until God's direction, been blessed by God into a pure marriage and never left the Garden of Eden or Heaven what would have happened?

They would have become perfect individuals who would have been God's external body.   

God is like the bone and Adam and Eve like the flesh. 

Did you know God has a mind and body?

If Adam and Eve had become perfect in God's true love, God becomes the internal parent and Adam and Eve would be the external parents, who become intertwined through love.

This union of God and human beings in love would have resulted in true parents.  

Without this unity in love, there cannot be a perfect person.  The results of not becoming true parents and severing our direct ties and lineage to God, is the world which we currently live today.

Sinless true ancestor and savior of humankind

What has history, this age and the future been searching for?  True parents connected to God's direct blood lineage.

If we are unable to meet true parents, then we cannot find true happiness in the course of history or in the universe.  A happiness that is eternal, not only experienced for moments.

What kind of people are people who are True Parents?

They symbolize the hope for all fallen people.  They bring hope because they have reversed the mistakes of the Fall and carry God's true blood lineage on the earth.  They symbolize what humanity can finally become.

They are the fruit of history, the center of the age, and the starting point for the future where human beings can connect God's direct blood lineage.

True Parents govern history.

Through True Parents, we can return to the new, original world.  We can finally subjugate Satan completely and eradicate him from this earth.

True Parents conquered Satan and finally liberated God and resolved His sorrow and suffering.

We should be grateful for this amazing grace with which we live together with True Parents and attend them and honor their commands.

The hope of humankind is to meet True Parents. 

You should meet the True Parents even though you must walk the path of death to lay the foundation to do so.

You walk the same bloody path with your own sweat and tears for you and your ancestors to return to the original position before the Fall.

Even if you may lose all of history and all of your descendants, once you meet True Parents, you will regain history and the future.  True Parents are such people.

No one can follow this path of restoring themselves and history without shedding tears.  

You should shed tears for God and True Parents.

You shed tears walking this thorny path until now in order to save humankind.  Reversing every fallen element in your family's history is not an easy task.

But how can we even think about restoring the world when we cannot conquer ourselves?

The world is composed of individuals and families, thus for world restoration, this is the beginning point, ourselves.

You should understand how amazing it is that I have come to this earth with the name of the True Parent. What are the most blessed words among all the words in the world?

For fallen people, the words True Parents are the words of greatest blessing, greater than regaining a nation or the world after it has been lost. You should know that these words are more precious than anything it heaven and earth.

Just imagine if you were raised by True Parents, without sin how radically different your experiences in life would have been being raised under God's complete protection and dominion.

Just the simple use of the words True Parents can command history.  The same as the power of Jesus' name.

Who can count the many saints, sages and good people of history who have had to walk this path of sacrifice in order to establish this phrase on the earth?

Up until now, the world consisted of just brothers and sisters fighting one another who have lost their true parents.

Even though the world is full of leaders and presidents, we are all just children who have lost their parents to teach the true way.

The name established on earth holds hope after going through the bloody strife, struggles and screaming is the name of True Parents.  Before there are True Parents, True Children must appear.

Do you think that you have become True Children before the True Parents or God?

That which is true does not change in the past, present or in the future.

Since God has worked throughout history to restore His children back to their unfallen state, it can be seen as a history to establish the True Parents.

Children need direction on earth, wouldn't it make sense that you would need parents that have God's direction, who cannot be attacked by Satan, to set a standard by which to follow?

From the time of Cain and Abel, who God had tried to reverse the Fall through Cain's offering and humbleness to his brother, but failed through murdering him, Heaven has been fulfilling the providence to realize these True Parents.

Whoever opposes or interferes with the fundamental providence to realize this purpose will be deserted in front of the heavenly principle and eventually perish.

The Messiah is the True Man who takes a bride and become True Parents.

This is what is meant in the Bible as the Marriage Supper of the Lamb.  We are therefore, to destined to become the true children.

When the Messiah comes to the earth, even though he comes as an individual, he is not just one person.  His value is such that he is the fruit of all the religions, the fruit of all hopes of humankind and the fruit of the love desired by all humankind.

The Messiah holds the key to all of the world's problems, false love and false lineage.  He bequeaths this knowledge and blood lineage to God's children in order to restore them back to their original position.

Everything connects to this fruit: the past, present and the future are connected to him; furthermore, the individual, family, tribe, nation and world are also connected to him as well as heaven and earth.

The Messiah must carry out the role of True Parent when he comes to the earth.

This was the main purpose for Jesus coming to earth - not to leave an example of how to be a True Son and a true brother, but to leave not only God's true blood lineage but how to be a True Father, True Husband and True Parent through his true marriage.

The Messiah is the Horizontal Father and God is the vertical Father.  He is the only vertical Father. Christianity says that Jesus was God, but this is not correct in the physical sense, but yes, Jesus acquired God's qualities and power, but he was not the same entity. Jesus is not the same spirit who created earth from the beginning.

There is only one vertical (spirit) Father, Jesus was to become the horizontal(earth) father.

You should know that until the appearance of True Parents on this earth, there had been many tearful stories in the background that you cannot even imagine. I don't know how many tears I have shed without you knowing about it. Only God understands this. 


True Parents who do not have the trace of the fallen, sinful blood lineage, become the ancestors of humankind even though they are on the earth today.  Thus, you should attend True Parents just as you do your own.

True Parents come to the earth to restore human beings and make you into True Parents - little True Parents - of your own clan.  This is how the world will eventually be restored.

Where does true love begin?

True love begins from the True Parents.  Even though "husband" and "wife" are good words, there is no better words than that of True Parents.

Without the appearance of True Parents, there there is no true husband or wife that can appear in the fallen world.  We must understand this.


Why do we need True Parents?

Since the True Parents reversed the acts of the Fall by carrying God's direct blood lineage and following God's words, the connection to true love has been completed for the first time in history.

This connection to God's direct lineage and being is unprecedented in history and will not be repeated in the future.

There is only one set of True Parents, one origin.  Even though we are destined to become true parents, the first True Parents are the first ancestors of humankind and cannot be replaced.

It is the same as if they were the first Adam and Eve and those who connect to them fall in order after that.

The love that your mother and father are engaged in right now is not true love.

God's original ideal for the world is realized through the creation of True Parents.  

This is the place where we meet our lost parents, our lost true parents.

All the saints have fought to bring this foundation to earth.  There have been many junctures throughout history, but this is the most valuable one.

The Fall made human beings Satan's descendants. Therefore, we must reestablish the True Parents who are on the side of heaven and have God's descendants.

We must be fully reborn through connecting to the True Parents pure love. This is the only way that we will be recreated and become citizens of heaven on earth.

God absolutely needs the True Parents.  Many people of faith wonder why God could not just accomplish world restoration in one swipe.

Without the True Parents on earth, even the omnipotent God is unable to fulfill the providence of restoration of the world by Himself.   

Without True parents, the realm of the archangels cannot find value in their work to support the realization of God's will on earth.  You need True Parents to stand directly before God.

When you look at the history of humankind, you can see how God worked through major wars, suffering and such to lay a foundation for the sake of the world to receive the True Parents.

All the religions have been seeking such parents, the world and nations have been seeking True Parents.

Leave No Condition for Satan to Attack

How will it be possible for you experience the heart of the Messiah and God's love and heart?

The question is how to enter into that state.  To do this, you must return to the position of Adam and Eve who have not fallen, and are free from Satan's accusation.

How is it possible for you to be liberated from the satanic world and blood lineage of sin?

You have to win the battle with Satan.

In order to accomplish this, how hard do you think you will have to work?

In addition, how much suffering will you have to go through to achieve this standard?  Only the Messiah was able to do this.

Bequeathing of heart

Many saints in history were deceived: Jacob and Moses were deceived ten times and Jesus was also deceived in the same manner.  We must overcome this.

Through overcoming deception with a grateful heart, we come to understand God's heart.  We come to know the heart of the Parent.  Without overcoming this, we will never have a chance to experience such a heart.

As long as you do not have this experience, Satan will never leave you.

As long as you do not overcome Satan's taunts and triumph over him, you will never know the Parents' heart or God's heart who have gone through this suffering course.

Thus, everyone of faith must conquer Satan on the frontline.

If instead we just live a comfortable life of leisure, we will not be able to find God's love, the Parents' love, the True Parents' realm of heart, or find God's realm of heart.

I must send everyone to the frontline. 

You need to go out and be persecuted, despised and beaten.

You can receive all sorts of harsh treatments.  Through this experience, there can be an inheritance of heart.  A ceremony of inheritance will take place there.

Therefore you should always stand at the forefront and march forward like the Messiah.

The frontline is harsh persecution, but this is natural.  When you witness or fundraise and receive such treatment, God will protect you.  You will be able to experience the same heart as God as you stand in the same place.

How do you experience this Parental heart deeply? How do you come to know the real True Parents who reverse the Fall, and know that God is your Father down to your flesh and bone?

The question is how will you know down to the cells of your body that God is your Father even without thinking about it?

You must overcome the situation of being exposed to Satan's accusation. 

How do we not leave any satanic condition through our actions and thoughts is the biggest problem.

It is simple how to experience True Parents' love deeply: you must stand in the position of unfallen Adam and Eve who have conquered Satan on the global stage.

In order to completely separate from Satan, how much blood and sweat will you have to shed?  How much of Satan's accusations will you have to bear?

How tremendous the battle, because it will only happen after you have victory over the course of indemnity, paying back for sins.

When you are faced with such difficulties, if you do not appreciate facing these challenges, then no matter how much you pray or what you do, you will not be able to go beyond it.

We should be grateful for the persecution as we paved the way to get rid of our fallen lineage, overcome Satan and return back to God.

You have to have this experience deeply yourself.  You will receive direct guidance.

During your experience, the problem is how to feel oneness. It will not come until you are able to defeat Satan completely, make him retreat in every facet of your life.

Power transmission towers have been established.

Power stations have been built in individuals, families, nations, the world and even in God.  Now the power lines of heart must be hung there.  Who will hang those lines?  God is not the one to do it.  You must do it.

Sons and daughters inherit from their parents

If God was to give a gift to humankind, what would it be?

That you would become the ancestors of humankind and become true mothers and fathers. There is nothing higher than the true parents position- not even being the president can match it.

There is no greater gift God can give us.

To be able to be pure sons and daughters that reverse the sinful blood lineage into God's pure blood lineage and become True Parents, then there will automatically be true children, tribe, nation and world thereafter.

The most important title in all of creation is to be a True Parent.

What is the nature of the Fall?

It is people doing and living as they pleased.

We must reverse any situation that is not centering on God and True Parents who have come to reverse the sins of the first human parents.

All men should become incarnations of True Father and all women should become representatives of True Mother.  When God enters you through your eyes or anywhere else, you should welcome Him.  Do not reject Him.

Do your walls remain in place even though you walk this path of faith?

God's love comes through you. 

You must not be negligent; you need to study this phenomenon.

Once you inherit this tradition, True Parents will come to you as God's messenger and give you the inheritance.  Since humanity has not had True Parents, therefore, true children had never appeared before.

The Unification Movement says, "Acknowledge True Parents, discover and serve them.  We say we should become true sons and daughters of True Parents."

After we become true sons and daughters, what happens?

We inherit all that they have which include: heaven and earth, and even God.  Yes, we should even inherit God.

If no one owned heaven and earth, then it would not have any value.  We should fully acknowledge the value of heaven and earth, and claim their value for eternity.  We also need to meet the one who can officially recognize that.  God is the one to do this.

You will continue to walk this path and then receive the Marriage Blessing based on the gratitude you show before Heaven.

You should be always individually grateful and never forget the value of receiving the Blessing from the True Parents in order to change your sinful blood lineage to the pure lineage of God.

Blessed families inherit the responsibilities True Parents carry out for the restoration of the world.  Blessed Families walk the course of restoring people through witnessing and suffering.

True Parents have walked the course to restore the world to peace after setting the standard of restoring people.  Then they go one step ahead.

You must shoulder the responsibility to restore a people, until your death or until the sorrow of the people is removed completely.

Why God Can't Punish Satan

There is a theological debate whether Satan existed from the very outset.  This has caused a big problem.

If Satan had always existed and was part of God's plan for creation, his existence defies and hinders God's providence of restoring the world of peace for thousands of years.

Who is the one to subjugate and eliminate him?

This is the true issue.  Christianity upholds that Jesus liquidates all the sins of the past and the future that was to come, but even Jesus lost his physical body to Satan even though he was able to resurrect and bring a foundation for spiritual salvation.

Yet, every human being since has still been born with the original sin in his blood lineage.  Who will be able to finally accuse the one who brought sin to earth?

If Satan was not part of the creation of a perfect being, then where did he come from?

Satan caused our original ancestors to fall away from the true purpose of God which was to develop heaven on earth from the outset.

If Satan was part of the creation, then there is no way to get rid of him and have complete salvation.  This would create dualism forever.  People thus conclude that a world with two opposing purposes would continue forever.  Fortunately, this is not the case.

The reasons for Satan's accusations

The original will for the ideal world of creation was never fulfilled due to the Fall. However, since God has absolute authority, even though the whole world might change, He can never change.

Even though the devil took Adam, Eve and all creation away from God, the Absolute Being must subjugate Satan, who was originally an archangel, naturally rather than by force. 

Although God exists, it is as if He does not when we witness the chaos in the world. He has to re-establish His absolute authority. God cannot strike first. The good God cannot strike the evil Satan. 

Why is it God is tied from taking out Satan in one stroke?

Because if He was to do so, that act would end up also extinguishing Adam, Eve and the creation who are linked to him.  Through Adam and Eve obeying Satan's will instead of God's, they became connected to Satan in blood ties.

Thus, destroying Satan also destroys the ideal sphere of love.  That would be against God's own principle.

This is why God is prevented from doing so.

As absolute Lord, He must absolutely fulfill His will and do as He says would do.  Despite Satan's arrogance, attacks and tenacious persecution, still the Lord endured throughout history in order to recover His established principles.

Nobody has known of this almighty God.

If God cannot destroy Satan, why did He allow Satan to infringe upon human beings?  Why did He let His children be sacrificed and crushed under Satan's foot?

Why doesn't He stop the suffering Satan causes humanity?

Why was God unable to exalt His full power to such an extent that humanity does not recognize His existence?

This is a serious question.  The truth is, because humanity did not follow Him, He had no people, no nation, no world which to govern freely.

Therefore, no one has qualified to officially be recognized by Him as a true individual, family nation or world.

If such an individual, family nation or world was established, then God would be able to directly strike the evil people, nations and world.

Before this time, because humanity suffered through following Satan's will, to work with humanity, He had to face Satan's accusations of His children and work indirectly through angels and central figures.

Only this way will lead to goodness, and only then will God have His authority.

Will you completely conquer Satan in your life?

Wasn't event he almighty King of Wisdom immobilized by Satan's accusations?

It is the same situation with the President.  If his citizens decided to march and demonstrate against his laws, can he just cut off their heads for their behavior?

Even the almighty God is unable to make this move.  Any government official found to be at fault, they would be fired in an instant.

This is why your actions should not leave any condition for Satan's accusation.
This is a matter of life and death.

How you develop that protection is extremely challenging problem in your life of faith.

Since the human race are connected to Satan's, lineage, false love and will, God cannot not be present during those circumstances.  This is the problem.

What did Satan take away from God in the beginning of human history?

Satan trampled on God's pure love and crushed God's true life, love and lineage.  We should always be aware of these facts and protect ourselves.

Satan was created originally as an archangel without any trace of the fall.

Satan goes to God and accuses Him, "You are the almighty, omnipotent, all-powerful God, even you have to solve all the problems according to the principles you set up even though I became evil.   Even though I became Satan and brought about the Fall, You must abide by the rules and principles which You set up.  Isn't this true?'

I am going to explain why we cannot proceed on our way without loving our enemy. 

It is very important for you to know this truth,

Although the archangel fell and accuses God, God must still observe the principles He has established because He is the absolute God.

No matter how the archangel behaves, God is compelled to rule over His creation according to His rules and principles He laid down.

Therefore, God is obliged to act in the same manner to the archangel before and after the Fall.  This is why Satan taunts God and tells Him, "You are supposed to love me until I'm perfected and beyond."

Adam was supposed to originally, command three archangels.  In turn, they were to obey and love him absolutely.

As long as the heavenly law demands absolute obedience and submission, Satan is not able to do as he pleases with the laws and principles.

Even though he does not absolutely obey and submit to God, he knows that eventually he has to follow the same principle

If Satan violates the principle and God's law, then He can remove him.

It would be the same as the president exercising his authority through the constitutional law.  If it is not in the constitution, the president is not able to act as he wishes.

The author of the Divine Principle, the Completed Testament, dealt with such serious issues such as the existence of God and why He did not eliminate Satan as soon as he fell.

In the book of Job, you may ask why God was so powerless.

I had to understand all this. How serious I was to do so! I have placed myself on the gallows and struggled for these truths at the risk of my life. We have to retrieve our original life. 

If you are not familiar with the Book of Job, Satan accused God that Job was a faithful servant because He gave him everything.

Satan challenged God that if He took everything away from Job and made him suffer that he would curse God in return.

God gave Satan everything he asked for and told him he could take Job's life.  Why would the almighty God respond to Satan?

God cannot respond with the same behavior as Satan because God is the essence of love for others.

God is the essence of truth. 

God does not try to subjugate Satan with His mysterious, creative power.  God makes Satan yield voluntarily to His will.

Satan has used promiscuous sex, selfishness and so on and brought ruin in the world in order to prevent the world from returning to God.

How many people indulge in incest in America?

A father left alone with his daughters will molest and sleep with his daughters.  Because of the degradation of morals, the father's brother sleeps with the mother or a son sleeps with his mother.

American's lifestyle is closer to that of the animals.  Therefore, Satan laughs at God and says, "How do you even think about having an ideal world or world of love under these circumstances?"

God abides by the law

What kind of being can you say God is?

God is like the mind of the universe; the universe is like His body. 

However, the devil has plagued this body.

Satan has stolen the powers of the heavens and thus also controls the universe.  What does God need to do in order to digest this problem?  God is unable to strike Satan with force.

The essential quality in the process of creating the universe was love.  Thus, God maintains that principle, even if there are those that violate it.

Therefore, God unceasingly maintains His original standard He set up for creating, for the sake of restoring the fallen universe back to its original purpose of love.

Thus, fulfilling the ideal of true love.  If He is unable to accomplish this, then He cannot regain His authority as the Absolute Being.

This point has been so frustrating for God.

The Fall established a wrongful bond of love centered on Satan who took the position of parents.  Much interpretations have been said about the fruit of good and evil.

The descendants of Adam and Eve have carried on Satan's love through blood ties.  Satan's life, false love and blood lineage has passed on through our ancestors unceasingly.  The only relationship of love that can pass sin through the blood line is a sexual relationship.

Thus, as long as the root of the fall, false love, is not rooted out, it remains.  

Satan is the enemy of love. 

Satan fractured God's dream for an ideal world of love.

The servant forcibly took away the King's daughter and violated her.  Thus, she lost her position as the Lord's daughter.

Thus she had to be driven out of the King's establishment.  This wrongful act was an derailment from the original track of the great principle of heaven and earth.  This fact cannot be denied.

God cannot achieve the original ideal of an ideal world, unless He is able to love the children of evil just as much or even more than His own children.

Satan asserts, "I have fallen and become who I am.  My lineage even revolts against you,. Yet, don't You God have to uphold the way of the heavenly law?"  This is where God is caught.

Satan accuses God further saying, Since You are the substance of truth, love and principles, You cannot change for any reason, although I am fallen, don't you have to practice Your own principles which You established?

"Therefore, as a Being of principle, You cannot bring your children to the original world without loving the fallen angel.  The plans you placed for the archangels before the Fall do not allow Your children to enter the heavenly kingdom unless they and You Yourself love me. Although I fell and caused many calamities, You should love me or else You cannot be the true God and Your son and daughter cannot be true children without loving me."

Existing Doctrines of God Contradictory

Throughout the history of religion, there have been many question that have been raised such as does God exists and many questions about the doctrines each religion upholds.

These teachings have brought much division, and wars between the people of faith and sometimes within the same faith separating into several different denominations.  How did we come to such a position?

We commonly say that God is omniscient, omnipotent, omnipresent who possesses the utmost goodness and beauty.

He is said to be a being of love, the Lord of judgment and the Father of humankind.  Yet, how do we make sure that this description is correct.  Why did God create the universe?  God could have lived by Himself for life.

God is absolute goodness, so where did the phenomenon of the law of the jungle appear in this world He created?

We know that the Fall has led to the world of sin, but why did beings created by a perfect God develop so many problems?

God has many problems which humanity has caused since the beginning.  Many ask that if God exists, why did an all-knowing and all-powerful being allow Jesus to be nailed to the cross?

If Jesus did not go to the cross would it have been possible for salvation?

If God is almighty, yet He is still unable to save perfect Jesus from dying on the cross, is such a God a cruel God we should chase away?

How could we believe and trust in such a God who seems to not be able to save humanity, who are also His children, from their misery?

There has been no one before who sought to dig at the root of the cause of God's grief after the Fall.

The relationship between God and human beings has become impotent. Although theologians and spiritual mediums know about Satan's existence, they have not been able to understand why the almighty God could not prevent Satan from opposing Him and stealing His position.  

This same problem is mimicked in the spirit world.  Whenever you try to go to God's side, Satan surely interferes.  Satan opposes us from many directions, not just one.

Why is God unable to intervene and punish the devil who perpetrated cause of sin?

This has been a riddle to humanity until now that it has been revealed.

God has been leading humankind throughout the tens of thousands of years of history toward a better world, but why have we not established a world where goodness is realized?

Instead, humanity has ended up heading toward a world of despair and hopelessness?

This problem has never been truly or satisfactorily been answered. It is the leading reason people conclude that a good God does not exist.

If a God or Creator did not exist, would it be possible for humankind to have the possibility to dream of the ideals we long for which is the peaceful world and Utopia we seek for the future?

In the past, thinking people and philosophers have failed in their pursuit of such a world.  Their answers and efforts have left the world in its present state.

When we look at the history of struggle and wars to bring about a better world, how do we assume that such a world of hope can come about in the future?

Why would the all-knowing God leave Satan alone to do as he pleases humanity?  God could just execute him one night, but He leaves him be.  Why?

This is the most difficult question which religion failed to answer in the past.  Is it a simple matter?

Many people visualize God as a God of glory sitting on His throne everyday.  This concept is why we believe that God does not have anything to do with suffering or sorrow or any kind of emotions.

If Christians were asked what kind of being God was, they would say that He was our Father.  They would further say that those who call Him Father should repent and live a life of faith in this sinful world.

God and man are constantly said to relate as parent and child, yet they are said to be in contradiction of each other.

Christianity pronounces that God is all-knowing, omnipotent, the Judge who sits on His throne as the righteous Lord of judgment who judges all people.

Do any of you like judges?

Judges sometimes pass death sentences, but their verdicts cannot be absolutely right.  There are many different ways and angles to see a situation, yet a judge measures whether someone lives or dies.  

If a judge serves for ten years, he will get sick and die; if he does not die, he will at least become seriously ill. Human judgment of universal law often misses the true mark.  For this reason, a righteous person would get sick after being judge for ten years.

We should ask God about this.

Christians also say that he sends bad people to hell and good people to heaven, but if God were joyful to see this, then He would be a crazy God.

God dwells in the place of absolute goodness, which transcends good and evil. 

Would it be interesting to have such a God that sits on His throne all day like pastors say?

Try sitting for three days straight doing nothing.

So, what is it God could be doing?

According to Christianity, God is sitting on a throne of glory while humanity suffers on earth.  If God is alone, then what kind of glory is that?

Do we truly believe that God sits in one spot for eternity, singing, "Oh, I have so much power, omniscience.  I'm so mysterious and..." Really?  What use is that kind of power?

God, too has always been living centering on love.  This logic is undeniable.

You Are God's Miracle

I look at you, your faces are so beautiful. Many times when I look at the beauty of men and women I wonder whether there was any way that Heavenly Father could have created us better than we are.
What would make a man more handsome or a woman more beautiful?

I have imagined making the two eyes totally round, the nose square, the ears upside down, and wondered whether that would make a person more beautiful. But every time I come to the conclusion that no one can improve upon the way God made men and women.

Truly each one of you is a masterpiece of God's creation.

Some men and women look in the mirror and wonder why they couldn't have been more pretty or created handsome.  But we shouldn't look that way.  You are God's masterpiece.  We should know that God worked very hard to make you just the way you are.

Even if everyone has condemned a certain person as ugly, there is surely an special characteristic that nobody else has.

When you think about it, God only has four basic objects for which to work.  He has the eyes, nose, mouth and ears.  On top of that, He has to place them in the same area, so there is a limited realm, yet God created an infinite variety of faces!

With only a limited number of items, God created billions of human faces, but no two of them are identical.  Each of our faces are unique.

There is an incredible mysterious beauty among the four billion people out there. 

Even though each face has the same four components, each is different.

Is there any better miracle than the God's construction of the human anatomy?

What if someone gave you the task to take the eyes, nose, mouth and ears and come up with a combination for four different billion faces?  Would you be able to do it?

Just thinking of the four billions faces leaves a feeling of awe.  The mystery of the face is so great.

Each face is different, although it has the same four components.

There is no way to avoid feeling gratitude and awe, surprise and shock at this fact. I always feel that it is our duty to live with confidence and pride in being a masterpiece of God's creation.

What if the world was only filled with women lacking even one male.

It would be a 'no-man's land'.  No matter how beautiful or how well-dressed a woman might be in that land, without men around, she has no flavor or joy in her living.

There is an guarantee that if there were no men around, no matter how much you were pressured, you wouldn't put on make up because there would be no incentive.

There is a popular saying that women dress nicely and put on make up for other women.  But if women is all that existed, there would be no need.

There would be a great disaster if the world was filled with only women and no man.

Or even worse, there were a billion women and only one man.  The women would definitely start a war over him.  There would be nothing, but constant struggle, battles, and conspiracies all focused upon the one goal to occupy the heart of this one man.

Women naturally do not like war, but if there was only one man, would the women just sit still or start a war over who is best suited for him?  On the other hand, if it was all men in the world and just one women the same situation would happen.

It is our good fortune that God distributed men and women evenly throughout the world.

There is a misinformed belief that there is a shortage of men, but as there are constantly men dying and being born all over the world, the numbers do even out.  There are enough men for the women and enough women for the men on the earth as a whole.

What if one entire country was populated only by men and another only by women?

Through Eastern philosophy, which is male-centered, the Asian culture looks forward to have a baby boy.

Even in China with the restrictions on how many children one can have per household, baby girls are either discarded or given to other countries for adoption.  What if God was to answer everyone's prayers and give them nothing but sons?

Even in America, the women would want a son first and also American men want sons.  But what if God answered all those prayers around the world?  What would happen?

A wise man knows that this is a useless prayer.  Women give birth, but God controls the balance.  Around the world , the population of men and women is about the same.  This is a great phenomenon.

It is the greatest of all miracles that we are alive today. 

Life is mysterious and the mysterious element is beyond man's control; somebody else must be controlling it.

Those who possess high goals and high ideals look for some mystic or mysterious element.

People look for and want miracles to happen.  But the greatest miracle of all is the seven billion people who are living on the earth.  When you look at a person, look at him individually as a source of wonder.  You are an eyewitness to God's creation, a miracle.

Everyone of you are born with a broadcasting station which is your brain.

You are emitting waves at all times.  But these color of waves vary from one person to another.  The harmony comes from the variety of different waves coming from each of us.  They don't repel each other, but rather create a universal harmony with one another.

The colors of our vibrations are not narrow.  They go around the whole world and try to embrace all the other colors of vibrations around the world and everything God created.  This vibration will visit the Orient, a white and go after a black person and embrace them as well.

But throughout history, man has blocked and chopped off this harmonious vibration.  This separation has been the greatest of all human crimes.

You emit waves all the time, but the colors of waves vary from one person to another. The variety of these waves makes for harmony; they don't repel each other but rather create a universal harmony.

Religious people accuse each other of being heretics and much more. Nationalism is another example. There is a Japanese way of life, a German way of life and a Korean way of life without flexibility.

People are boxing themselves in, blocking themselves off from infinite possibility.

Is this the kind of history that God wanted to witness?

He wants to see a history where there are endless amounts of possibilities in which each vibration goes out and encircles the world and embraces everybody.  This is the way God created His history, but man blocked this beautiful history.

We must search and discover a kind of people that lives in true freedom and true vibrations.

Where in the world today can we find people whose vibrations are not just in the physical world, but also int he spiritual world?  What teachings could fathom how to break down these man-made barriers?

True Father gives his speeches to a room full of Westerners, and Easterners shining out in all different colors and vibrations.  This man from the Orient gives out his vibrations which encompasses the Western world, the Western mind and the Western people.

What organization outside of religion has a history such as this phenomenon?  Even in the field of religion this has not occurred very often.


Everybody has heard about major newspapers collapsing, for example the Washington Star and the Philadelphia Bulletin. Every day we hear that the Daily News, the greatest tabloid paper in New York City, is dying. Then people hear that Reverend Moon is trying to create a new newspaper in the face of all these newspaper failures.


The companies that collapsed focused strictly with a business-minded enterprise with concerns about the destiny of the company and the fortunes of the members that helped build it.  These companies with this self-centered ideal have no way to link their purpose to the nation or to the world.

Therefore, with this as a foundation, no matter how big the company becomes they can only grow within the realm of the individual enterprise and only have company success.  Their business philosophy is that when their enterprise or fortunes are damaged they will soon fold.

An universal mind has a far different starting point for a business.


We are not beginning a new newspaper for any person's or any organization's glory. We are doing this for the purpose of God, the purpose of the nation and the purpose of the world. Therefore, hard work and sacrifice can be made in order to achieve the higher goal.



Today the Western world has their focus based on materialism such as Communist nations.

That world has now hit a stone wall.  Western civilization has filed for bankruptcy.  In order to stop this, a new philosophy and civilization must begin and carry on.  We are standing at that crossroad in Western history.

People are facing all kinds of bankruptcy, even moral bankruptcy, business bankruptcy, and family bankruptcy.   But the Unification Church has a new goal and a new motivation.

The movement knows that the world needs help and must turn around and reverse its direction.

We are moving forward no matter the difficulties or obstacles that try to stop us.  We bring salvation to the rest of the world.  This is our standard.

We impart one vibration to encompass this nation and other nations around the world in order to bring about a positive change and head toward a world God envisioned from the beginning of creation.
We must be proud and confident of our position in relation to restoration and our standard.

The War Between Mind and Body

What is the most fearful war amongst all wars? 

The greatest damage you can experience in your life is the damage caused from the war between your mind and your body; greater than any calamities, tribulations -- or even devastation -- in the world caused by any other wars in history. You must know clearly that there remains a mountain of wreckage and debris caused by the various incidents of defeat of your mind. Your mind has been defeated numerous times in these battles, every day, between the mind and body. Yet, people are unaware of this fact.

However, you always remember any physical harm you have experienced. For instance, if you fell down, by tripping on a stone while you were walking on a street, you would remember clearly after one year; even you would not forget this for the rest of your life. You would recall an event saying, "I broke my foot right at this place, several decades ago, because I tripped and fell." You would never forget such a thing. On the other hand, there are countless people who would never think of or remember the defeats of their mind in the relentless war between their mind and body.

Considering this fact, no matter how loudly you may proclaim your own importance, you are really no more than a defeated soldier standing with a white flag in your hand. Originally, you were created to dominate your body, with the result of your mind being victorious, in the lifelong battle of mind and body. Yet, this ideal never came to pass; with the ensuing result that your mind and body each pursue contrary aims.

Your Worst Enemy

Then, what is the most fearful war among all wars? You must recognize that the war that continues centered on you and inside you is the most fearful in human history and may last forever.

What?

It is no comparison to World War II. "You" are in this eternal war within yourself. You must know that "you" are standing at the frontline of this theater in this eternal war.

The first human family started with false love and did not establish the perfected true love character of a true person, a true couple, and true parents. The fruit of false love, fallen mankind’s selfishness, destroys the true order, beginning with the discord of mind and body and expanding into division and struggle in the family, nation, and world.

The solution and cure for humankind’s affliction, therefore, is to return to God through the principle of restoration by indemnity. Through true love for others, you can stop the struggle between your mind and body and be restored into your original character of true love. Humankind needs to receive the blessing and create an ideal family from true parents who are the model of true love character. We need to restore the individual and true family and expand true love and goodness to the world level.

The strategy of Satan, who originated sin, is always to destroy the ideal of true family and to prevent true family from taking root and becoming substantialized. This led to God’s three headaches during the past 50 years. The first headache was communism, which denies God’s existence. The second is corruption and immorality. The third is the division and disunity among denominations and world religions.

Think about it. How many innocent people died because of communism?

Over 100 million were killed as a result of communism, and millions more were enslaved, starved, abused and wounded, and spent their whole life in suffering. But in addition to deaths and physical suffering, the crime of communism is even bigger: spreading false truth denying God and make men and women unable to find their ultimate value through connection to God.

Immorality, the second headache of God, is destroying families and countries and taking lives just as surely as an invading army. Moral corruption is one of the main causes of divorce, teenage pregnancies, crime, and drug addiction. The decline of morality is not limited to any single nation’s borders but is becoming the world’s common problem. The worldwide AIDS plague is a direct consequence of sexual promiscuity and moral decay. Through diseases such as AIDS, humankind's existence will be threatened.

How about God's third headache – the division and disunity within Christianity and between the world religions? For God, religious people are the conscience of the world. Religious people should have traditions and values and practical power to overcome evil. But instead they are divided. They antagonize and fight with each other. They have became incompetent and have lost the power to overcome evil and educate the world about the true way of life.


Importance of Man’s Portion of Responsibility

These three fundamental headaches are the direct result of the failure 50 years ago of those chosen to receive God’s message.

From God’s point of view, all of that suffering was totally unnecessary. All the misery, death, and destruction were not inevitable. It could have been avoided. If in the late 1940s, the religious world, centering on Christianity, had followed God’s revelation and become one with the true family ideal, then communism would have naturally declined. Also, through the influential leadership and example of each religion, the degeneration of youth, broken families, and AIDS would never have grown into a worldwide plague.

Confronting God’s three headaches, particularly communism, made those who fought it unpopular and controversial. Those who have done their research on the Divine Principle which this blog is based upon, they will know that the author was labeled a fascist and a religious charlatan. 

He was even jailed in the United States on trumped-up charges of tax evasion. Nevertheless, for 25 years, he been pouring out his heart, and energy to make the United States understand its global providential responsibilities.

Through his work in the Western Hemisphere and around the world, he was able to help the United States overcome communism. Now communism has almost disappeared. But immorality and social decay are systematically attacking the family. Modern thinking holds that the traditional family is only one kind of family and that even homosexuals can form a family and have children through adoption or artificial insemination.

This is being done without any thought of the dire consequences of undermining and destroying a fundamental biological, social, and spiritual unit that has been vital to human survival for tens of thousands of years. It is ironic that scientists warn of the threat to endangered species of plants and animals, but do not study far more seriously the consequences of family destruction.

Today God is asking us these questions: Will it be necessary to lose one-third of humanity before it is saved? Will we destroy the earth’s natural resources and environment before we learn to live in harmony with the creation as God originally intended? God will never give up! He will save this world, no matter what, and He will save it through the ideal and structure of the true family.
