When God chooses one champion to pioneer one stage of the providence, that person is sent in order to assist the whole world and lead them toward a world of peace. In this case, God finds it unnecessary to send dozens of champions to different places because God only sees one world not several different countries, nations or borders.
Through this process, all of the world's religions will be united.
We see this trend in the past and eventually, there will be one central figure who will come to the world and will be able to organize all the major religions having the power to unite with lesser degrees of accomplishment. He will ultimately choose one great pioneer who can finish the superhighway all the way from the bottom to the top. The dimmer lights will blend into the higher, brighter lights.
This pioneer will be called the Messiah. Who is the Messiah? He is the main prophet, the cure-all that is needed by everyone in the world regardless of race, position or status. The Messiah will come as a universal religious leader who represents all religions and not just one in particular.
The first to have this mission was Jesus, but was not able to fulfill his mission of unifying all people toward God's common goal.
The Messiah will have the heart and capacity to embrace all people and all the religions of the universe. His clear purpose for coming to earth is to fulfill the will of God which was left unfulfilled by the first parents Adam and Eve. Once Adam's mission is completed on earth, then the will of God is consummated. Jesus came as the second Adam and must return through another in order to fulfill God's Will.
Adam was the first ancestor of humankind and instead of setting a tradition of goodness, because of the fall of man, laid a path of evil and Satan-centered ancestors. The Messiah comes to indemnify all the failures of of humankind and eliminate man's satanic origin. He will start the first central family of God without compromising, wiping away the fallen, sinful lineage of Satan.
The Messiah has a very clear-cut mission: He is to liquidate the world of the fall and bring back the world without sin.
He like Jesus comes as the true ancestor baring God's pure blood lineage. Once the Messiah is installed on earth, then mankind will reach its greatest fulfillment. The Bible states that in the last days that men will dream dreams.
At the time of the Messiah's Second Coming, all of the spirit world will come down wanting to reap the benefit of that time. This is why we witness many spiritual phenomenons theses days because the spirit world has descended.
The vertical differences between men will manifest on the horizontal level as the most devoted people gather closest to the Messiah, and level after level of people will surround him. No matter how low you are in spirit world, if you happen to recognize the Messiah and assist in his crusade, when the Messiah consummates his mission, then you will have the privilege of being elevated all the way to the top of heaven.
The coming of the Messiah provides a gigantic gold mine of opportunity.
The power of the Messiah can penetrate even to the darkest dungeons of hell where there is room for them to be rescued and receive the messiah's light in the world of darkness. Once they perceive the light and cooperate in the Messiah's mission, then even those in the lowest spirit world will have a chance to reach perfection.
The Messiah's ideology professes equality and is fair to everyone. God does not discriminate and the Messiah, too will embrace everyone. He would not say to a certain group, "You are not qualified, do not come to me."
What makes the difference is, his success in the will depend on how people receive him. The Messiah does not discriminate, but the Principle states clearly that only those who unite with the Messiah can be restored.
The Jewish faith does not regard Jesus as the Messiah and waits for the first coming. When he arrives they will follow him including unite with other faiths to complete the mission of God's will.
The Messiah's Bridge Work
The Messiah lays a highway from the bottom of hell to the top of heaven as he works hard with blood, sweat tears. This allows any person to follow in the Messiah's steps of that highway from the lowest of hell to the top of heaven. The Messiah first comes to the lowest realm of human misery and gives his entire life to the accomplishment of his mission. By uniting with the cause, there is nothing that is impossible.
Many Christians hold onto the belief that the Messiah will descend from the clouds and uplift on a handful of faithful Christians to spend eternity somewhere in the sky together. This is fantasy and far from a loving God's ideal. When everyone enters spirit world, they will understand what the Divine Principle teaches.
At this time, millions of spirit men from all levels descend upon the earth in order to work through people to progress toward perfection.
Once one enters spirit world, the only way to grow is to come down to assist physical people. It is likened to the movie version of those who have passed on returning to people on earth and help them with a particular mission in order for them to go to the next level. There is no exception to this heavenly law. Even if the person is well-known or just has good character, no matter which level they may have achieved in spirit world, this law is the same for everyone.
The Messiah comes as the greatest pioneer of all with the power to unite even those in spirit world. Yet, his work is accomplished here on earth first which has priority in order to affect the spirit world.
The Messiah's first task is to attain individual perfection here on earth and then continue toward the family, tribe, nation and the world. While he makes accomplishments on each level, parallel events are created in the spirit world.
His same pioneering task clears up the past confusion and brings unity and harmony there, too.
All throughout history, there has been a struggle to come reach to the central point, only to circle it even though we are getting closer and closer. Finally, then the Messiah will establish the center for the individual, family, tribal and national levels.
What is God utmost goal? It is to achieve the ultimate one world. Right now there are two ideological worlds confronting each other: the Communist world and the Democratic world. One world accepts God and the other denies Him. We are working to achieve one world under God where there will not be either Communist or Democratic ideologies. These two world are only one step from having one world and these two worlds will unite into one.
Many people of faith are looking for their own salvation, but when you think of individual perfection, do not think of it in a selfish way. Perfection begins at the central point of the universe and is connected with the rest of the world as well as with God. If you are standing at the center, you are perfected. But if you do not have a relationship with the universe and God, this is not perfection.
When we become one with God then we indeed become the center of the universe.
Humanity is the center of the universe, therefore when we perfect ourselves we will perfect the universe. Universal perfection and our own perfection will come simultaneously. Everyone has the ideal to become a well-known person isn't this true? We each have a desire because we each have the potential to fulfill it.
Each human desire and ambition can be fulfilled by reaching the ultimate target of unity with God. Humanity has made constant effort throughout history for the search for God. Because God is absolute, universal unity is possible. People stand in the position of God when they unite with God.
The entire spirit world and physical world put together look like one human being, one man. God is also likened to an invisible man, thus He states, Let us create man in our image. When these two 'men', God and the spirit world with the physical world, truly embrace each other, that is heaven. When they unite in harmony, breathing, dancing and jumping around together that becomes God's world, Gods ideal.
