The Associated Pressed reported that Leaders from Russia’s Orthodox church and Poland’s Catholic church both signed documents Friday urging their respective nations to each have forgiveness for the past during their feud that has lasted many centuries.
This historical signing commemorated the first time a Russian patriarch has officially visited the country. This groundbreaking reconciliation is a monumental step forward toward bridging the gaps between the two denominations.
