The Language of Love

"There is no proper arrangement for the words of Father's speech. You cannot find this arrangement in the dictionary. But love imagination perspective makes acute sense for our life. It is Unification terminology." 

We have heard the saying the "language of love".  In the Western world, letters do not hold as deep as a meaning as the characters in the Asian society of the Chinese, Japanese and Korean languages.  To learn the rich context of each stroke takes many years of learning and the significance of each is extraordinary when we understanding the meaning.

Oftentimes we will see someone bearing a Chinese character for the beauty of its appearance without knowing the meaning or creating no meaning at all when coupled with a non-related character.

The author of the Divine Principle who was born in Korea speaks more on this topic of Korean characters in relation to the language of Love:


"As you know the oriental language is symbolic. The characters are actually pictures that explain what they mean. In English, the letters L O V E in themselves do not mean anything.

But the character for the word love in Korean has lines and shapes representing heaven, the three stages, a house (meaning embraced by) and mind and other lines representing the original two people.

All these concepts come together to make one word, love. This is very revealing. A revelatory character. "Heaven" is written with the sign for two persons. "Righteous" means "sheep like myself". "Goodness" also has a sheep and two people who support each other. Each word itself teaches us something.


Love Imagination

You cannot omit even one stroke in the word "love" and feel that it is right. What about the character for "imagination?" It is a tree. Man resembles a tree more than he resembles grass. A tree always grows to be round. The shape starts out long but altogether has a round effect with the leaves and branches.

The history of a tree very much resembles the history of man.

It starts from a root, then the trunk starts growing, and then the branches and leaves. Man is the same but inverted. His roots are up in heaven with the leaves reaching to the ground. We do not exist haphazardly, but in a balanced way.

A tree has water and man has blood. Blood and love is what makes us go.

Love is an important ingredient of life leading us to bear fruit. We love with the result or the fruit in mind. Synthesis, division and synthesis is the process. Man and woman are brought together with love to bear fruit.

We unite and divide for the sake of love. All functions are for love. Communists take the same way but explain it as unity and antagonism. But antagonized beings can never come together to unite again.

In love we do not make so much noise.

All five senses go numb in love. Only love is active in every cell. Unless we can explain human life like this, we cannot explain who we are.

We embrace with our eyes closed. If you don't, you are either a spy or not really in love. That spy can only represent evil existing to hurt their partner. It is a simple explanation, but is half of what human beings are.

What about Moonies?

Do we keep our eyes open when we think about serious things?  No, we meditate with our eyes closed. If you hate someone you keep your eyes open. Antagonism does not bring fruit. A crucial concept is the understanding of unity, division and synthesis.

Through it we can explain humanity. The Korean character for "tree" looks like a cross with a man next to it. There are vertical and horizontal lines. The eyes represent three stages meaning we see in three stages or in total.

No one knows how these characters were developed. But when Father analyzes them they fit completely. If you draw two big persons and two small persons, it looks like a family. Next to the tree are lots of eyes. These characters combined together mean "imagination".

"Thought" the Korean character is two words. Vertical and horizontal lines together. This shows a mind that can reach all four directions.

Other languages based only on phonetics cannot compare with this. Compare the characteristics of oriental and western minds. Westerners are concrete. They want to take everything apart. Orientals are deep in thought, embracing and more round.

If you meet three different westerners you can predict exactly what they will be like. They are all very similar. In the orient people are all different. Westerners are simple and easy to fathom, but not Orientals.

Now the west is coming to search for the east, but not so much the other way around. The Orientals already know what they can gain from the west.

White people represent the north pole and blacks represent the south pole.

For whites to reach the warm climate they must embrace the other extreme.

The twentieth century is a warm climate civilization. England and Asia are in moderate climate zones. Without embracing blacks, whites cannot stay in the warm climate. Even the sun moves, it does not stay in just one place.

The law of the universe is that there are four season. It does not matter if you like them or not, they still come. God likes them that way.

Western civilization is in an "exhaling" time in history. Next is the "inhaling" time, the time of embracing. Exhaling means giving everything away. We have exhaled everything and are now in a deadlock. There is nothing left.

Which way should we go?

Next, the inhaling time comes to draw all back in. So western people should not refuse to go the other way now. If white people say "I do not like Koreans, Reverend Moon or black people, they cannot continue. The wise man will want to quickly inhale as much as possible.  Moonies are like that."SMM

World Unity Imminent

We are being shown that this is the time for embracing all races, cultures, religions and countries. Whether the white people with a history of dominating and intolerance for differences like it or not they cannot stop history from going forward.

Reverend Moon teaches which direction history should go away from the fallen historical problems of the world and help others to become just as healthy and prosperous.  Those who follow his teachings always feel good and have hope for a bright future full of peace.

When people listen to any of his speeches they cannot deny this is true.

We cannot embrace just what we like. We have to embrace everything. With eyes of love we can see that everything is so precious. We do not want to miss even one hair on a person's head!

A small grasping American hand cannot grab Father.  It takes a big net and would be like catching the whole world. 

We have to embrace everything with the eyes of love and we will see that all is precious.  When we embrace, we do not even want to miss one strand of hair on a person's head.  This is how God loves.

God spent 4,000 years preparing the Israelites to accept Jesus Christ and prepare a land and people for his coming.  Since Jesus' mission was left incomplete, God prepared America as the second Israel.

When we look at the history and foundation of America, we see it was built upon sacrifice and the word of God.  Then America began to turn toward an individualistic country losing its vigor for God and its people. Americans still do sacrifice, but only in one direction.  Now all three directions of the world are coming against America saying they do not want to deal with them.

Those who sacrifice for God may be kicked down.  Father has been kicked from behind by all people so he had determination to advance.  Those who oppose those of faith cannot move forward, so they must kick the enemy forward.

All devices have been used to kick Reverend Moon down from his heavenly mission of bringing about the mission of the Messiah and the Completed Testament Age.  Arrows and bullets have been used to try to stop him from victory.


"He has scars everywhere, but still no arrow could penetrate. Father feels like he is an entity on display in a museum entitled "The Most Attacked Human Being". He endured that for the sake of God in order to represent God and His ideal and to create a God-loving world."


God cannot stay away from such a museum.  He wants to visit such a man.  All of spirit world follows God's way, so they too are concerned for Rev. Moon's situation.  Then all of the world will be paying attention to the teachings of Father because all of spirit world is in which we are connected.

If we are rich and well established we should next humble ourselves.

America will be born when it can sacrifice and die for the sake of the world.  Do Americans like this idea?

But if we as Americans do not undertake this task, we will repeat the downfall of the Romans and Sodom and Gomorrah that were societies that lived in decadence and fell from within its own social immorality.

Americans need to embrace all of humanity, the cosmos and even nature.  Then we will be welcomed once more.

Father has already taken a long time to speak, but who is counting time? Mother is! For our sake she tells Father not to speak too long. But in love, the longer it takes the better! You do not care. So as long as Mother watches the clock with love, we love her more.

These aren't just the ideology of Rev. Moon or his words; the universe protects the righteous man forever.  The universe have eyes and ears and it is sensitive and will protect you.


Reverend Moon explains the word Perspective in relation to Korean Characters:

Korean word for "love"

"'Perspective' is the most complicated word you can write in Korean characters. It is very stylish. It has two symbols representing grass, two representing man, with lines representing God on top of them. Then there is an eye, divided into three stages. It is very interesting!

Women use makeup in order to be noticed by others. We feel good if others pay attention to us. When it is with much love and respect we are even happier!

But if someone sees you and tried to lead you the wrong way and use you, you do not like them at all.

Many times the word "perspective" is abbreviated in Korean characters. People use a character that means "moon" - literally Father's family name.

The original mind of man already knew that one day we would look to Moon for the answers! This character literally says "Look at Moon". This is actually history and all humankind's terminal purpose."SMM


Father sweats from the heat, but feels good to explain this concept of love imagination(language) perspective means.  Now there is enough foundation to fly, but travelling by boat, air and train is the best.  Great men are said to travel on boats.


Man and Woman's Love

What is the most important element to man?  Life.

It means man's and woman's life. Which one is most important? [Both.] What is the center if you say both? How can man and woman be the same?

Our parents' life started our life and we eventually return to our parents.  When the parents love their children equally, then they are all the same.

The measurement of the angle has to be ninety degrees. No matter how big or how small it is, they must have the same ninety degree angle.

The women's movement began in the 1920s and exploded in the 1970s with women wanting to be equal in every facet of life.  But there is a limit to this equality.  We spoke about this in a previous post that no matter how much a woman protests to be exactly equal to a man, can she claim to grow a beard or stop her menses just because she doesn't like it anymore?

Man and woman were not born to compete with one another, but to be complementary to the other.  If we women continue to demand to be just like a man, in a century no more children will be born.  Women would soon protest, "Men don't have to go through the labor and pain of carrying a child, so why should we women, let's stop having them".

This behavior is a shame to the animal, plants and fish kingdom.  There is no power in the women's movement.

Man and woman were born to come into unity.  They were both born for the sake of love.  Once they embrace in love, they would be able to occupy each others position and change places.  In this original context of the Principle, we see that there would not be any room for competition between man and woman.  This is only accomplished through love and after love has been established.  There is no other explanation for the unity of man and woman.

Men were born for the sake of women and love and the reverse is also true.

What is the root and origin of the universe?

Religious people say heaven and Secular humanists would say man.  The democratic world stands in that position now.

How does Heaven function?  Does it use power and calamity or impose its will on others?  Heaven also uses the rules through love.  True love reaches north, south, east and west allowing everything to be equal.

The most basic question is does God exist and what is man.  We can observe the relationship between God and man.  Love is the center of everything and is the origin of life itself.  Only love has the ability to open up our eyes, ears and mouth in the happiest of excitement.




Why does God exist?  Is it to sit on His throne forever and never move from it exalting His power and Will upon His children?  Does God search for diamonds, silver and gold like humans?  No, he can create those things - His search is of of a true object.



"This is the kind of time Father longs for the sea, then the breeze would be blowing and I would not be sweating. Father is so tanned, he is becoming a cousin to black people! Father will start painting his face with black paint when the winter comes.

He will visit the white blessed couples in the middle of the night, without calling them first. He will sneak in and wake you and ask for something to eat! Father will check to see what kind of person you have become."


It is normal for men to use their right hand.  The universe welcomes right-handed people more than left-handed.

Why is this?

God is on the right side, so man wants to grasp heaven with the right side.  Man needs his right hand to protect the woman who stands on his left.  Man is always on the right side.  The Oriental civilization makes clear the sense of right and left.


God and Man Living Together

In America, loving couples fight over money and famous female stars get richer through marrying and divorcing richer men.

The worst person is that who cheats on their spouse.  Such a person will be accused by the universe, heaven, spouse, children and all of the spirit world.  If we see that we have done this kind of thing in the past, we have to repent to God, heaven, husband, children and the entire universe.

You should ask God how He would like to live.  He would answer, "I want to live with all mankind".  Instead when we look at the religious world, we see that everyone only prays for their heaven, for their own blessing.

We should pray, "If the country is going to die, please take my me and my husband instead and let the country survive in our place".  This is a Moonie prayer of daily sacrifice for the whole and how we become the center of this country.

This person's children will prosper.  This kind of love is 10, 000 times stronger than others.

Is God the kind of God that distinguishes good and bad people and send the 'bad' ones off to prison?  Even on the earthly plane, no one wants to be a judge.

All things want to follow a loving master. 

God wants to live by love.  If we separate from love, then we separate from God.  Even a dog understands this principle by wanting his master to love him more than he loves his wife.  even if they are a loving couple, when the master shows love to his wife the dog will sit on the wife's lap and share in their love.

A preacher's wife might not really want her husband to speak softly to other women, but all women want their husbands to use what is necessary to teach other people.

Any textbook Father chooses to teach a certain point is okay. We all want to be used as textbook material! Father can touch and give a kiss and for the point of teaching it is okay. Centering on love what can you not do?

If God lives for the sake of love, what does He need first?  He needs an object.  This is the purpose for all creation.  From our standpoint, with all the different levels of creation - man, plant, and animals - God's life looks very complicated.

God created all levels of creation to work together harmoniously.  Each level lives for the sake of the other level.  In this way, the opposite side is the center not the 'me'.  God does not even love centered on Himself.

God is the love king that dwells here to live for the sake of His love partner who is man.  This is the ideal of the equalization of love.  In this context, it is okay to be either a subject or an object just for the sake of love.  There is no dominance, cry for equality or room for competition in this reality.

Why am I born?

We are born with love imagination perspective. I represent life and parents centering on true love. Mother represents Father and woman represents man. Do not say your life is not connected to me. God's love connects parents and children.

God had in mind that we would embrace the whole world like a radio station broadcasting love.  He knew this from the beginning.  He is the king of wisdom.  Each created being lives for the sake of each other and thus expand the area of love.  We must go the center way.  We have to reach the origin.

Our conclusion is that the universe is centered on love. 

There are three very important points to remember:

One is love which is most important, two is life and three is blood. The blood is the blood connecting parents and children in one lineage.


The family has a lot of value.  We have everything.  We have God and we have parents.

All men on earth have a family consisting of grandparents, parents and children.  Our families represent all humanity past (grandparents), present (parents) and future (children).  God and parents with love at the center.  

We have everything. The blood lineage connects us.  First we must inherit the tradition in order to go in this precious path.  You should know that you always represent love, life and blood lineage. By following we gain resurrection.

Reverend Moon came to America in 1973 and he spoke about his observations of the city and the self-centered lifestyles.  He said then that the country would soon began to go down, but no one believed him and said he didn't know what he was talking about.

Especially since America was the most prosperous country in the world.  But now we can surely witness that America even with its wealth is diminishing and going to the bottom.  There is hope it will start back up and then things can equalize on a worldwide level.

The shortest way for America to regain its vision is through true love with God on top with His vertical love going down.  Reverend Moon feels like the most lonely man painfully pushing forward as he completely makes a highway all alone.  But when he looks back, he sees a mountain of love accumulating that is growing bigger and bigger.

We shouldn't think that the Messiah is the only one who can go this way.  This was the disciples mistake during Jesus' time.

In our mind, we can think we can go this difficult way, too, forsaking our lives to build the best foundation to bring the world back to God's bosom.  Satan forced his way to dominate man's mind, but we have to gain it back naturally through love.

Even business people learn they need to go through the way of investing.

Embrace love thinking about Father and parents.  We have the desire to be the best love champion by following the footsteps of our parents.  Unite with your spouse centering on your mind and go forward in the parents' way.

Mutual Love as the Solution for Unity

All religions speak about bringing about a world of peace and practicing the faith with others who have the same ideals, but religion has yet to build a world full people living in peace and hope.

What can truly unite a common people even in these days of such division including the church?

What do we need in order to unify the church? Some would say, "You need unified principles." But unified principles would be useless without feelings of emotion.

This is the issue.

Any religious group can try to unite based on coming together with the same ideas and united principle, but they need feelings of love for one another to truly unite. They must feel such demanding feelings that one cannot live without the other and must see each other in order for them to unite.


Jesus tells a story to illustrate this point:

Jesus replied, “A man was going down from Jerusalem to Jericho, and he fell among robbers, who stripped him and beat him and departed, leaving him half dead. Now by chance a priest was going down that road, and when he saw him he passed by on the other side. 

So likewise a Levite, when he came to the place and saw him, passed by on the other side. But a Samaritan, as he journeyed, came to where he was, and when he saw him, he had compassion. He went to him and bound up his wounds, pouring on oil and wine. Then he set him on his own animal and brought him to an inn and took care of him.

Luke 10:30-34

After he tells this story, Jesus asks, which of these people was the neighbor to the man who was beaten by robbers.  The answer was clear and he said for others to do the same as the Samaritan.

Imagine two people who are calling each other names in order to tear the other down in order to show who is the best of the two.  Their egos will not let them see the other person as equals.  How can these two unite?  Can a mother and father compete over who is better than the other and still unite?

Love grows with time.

The solution for unity is mutual love.

Few couples love each other from the very start.  Love can began from pity or from preference.  A woman can meet a stubborn man and think that he is unlovable, but she can take pity on him because she sees the obstacles he must face because of his stubborn attitude.

When this pity transforms into love, then the man seeks solace in the woman.  That's how it works.  The woman might find the man's attitude as an advantage because she herself does not have a stubborn attitude and turns it into a mutual advantage.

Thus, love blooms in affection as well as in pity and eventually this leads to unity of a couple.  If one has a strong enough pity for the other person, it can naturally find a way to unity.

Wouldn't a parent after spanking a child out of anger regret doing so immediately?  The effect would exactly be the opposite if the parent shed tears and showed love for the child instead.

Don't you think?

Spanking is not effective.  If instead the mother or father controls their anger toward their children they will triumph over their children and have control over them.  An older brother that has hate toward his brother can be brought to submission in this way.

It's possible isn't it to unite in this way?  With such feelings, yes it is possible. We must exhibit this kind of heart.

There is no happiness where there is no unity. When we say, "unity comes, or unity is possible," we mean unity with love as its substance.

The Family Federation formerly called the Unification Church had the purpose of uniting all of Christianity.  Is it possible to unite all of the different denominations and sects if the members just limited their love just among themselves.  To unite Christianity, we must love all the denominations and the sects.

Once in this frame of mind, we can forgive all their human faults

You must understand that forgiveness leads to unity.

When you begin with this mind set, you can forgive all their human faults.  If God still thought of us as sinners, would He have been able to forgive us all our sins time and time again?

God can forgive us because He looks at us with a forgiving mind to love us beyond our faults.

Do you understand that nothing is possible without this feeling of love?

What kind of world would this be without friendship, love for the country, love between parents and children, or love among siblings?  Would unity be possible in that type of environment?

Is it possible to have happiness without love being present?

The only way to bring the Principles ideas to fruition, we must have love.  Through pupils shedding tears of love for teachers, teachers for pupils, children for parents, sisters for sisters, brothers for brothers, siblings for siblings and tribes for tribes.

If you were to pass away tomorrow without accomplishing this kind of standard of love you would die in regret.  Unity demands this standard.  This is not just The Divine Principle teachings for our path toward righteousness but God's.  We must undertake this mission.

Why do we seek unity through love's foundation?

Because everything is temporary without the glue of love because love makes everything eternal.  Does the wife stop loving her husband because he passed away?  No, her love for her husband burns even more strongly after her husband's death.

We must think where unity will come into being.  We always think that it happens at will, but we must have love connections at the foundation of unity.

There is no unity without love connections.  These connections are honored and obeyed mutually.  Isn't this right?  With such a connection of love, one recognizes the other, which is returned in mutual recognition.

At this foundation, there must be a mutually-recognized goal which will make unity possible.  Unity does not work based on two different goals.  The goal must be one and will become one if love is mutually given.



All is United Upon Contact with True Love



When we are in contact with true love, the cells of our minds and the cells of our body respond in unison.  Through this unison, the differences are ironed out and produces harmony in all parts and move together in the same direction.  This is how unity occurs.

Then through this center point that unites the man and woman on a horizontal line to God's vertical line, all things operate.  Outside of this Principle, nothing works properly.

This is the eternal equation. This principle operates in this way in all movements, all beings, all cell structures, and united ideals and paths.  When we see this absolute standard, we can see why it is so hard to relate to one another and bring about unity in an eternal stance.

Viewed with love, there is nothing that is not directly connected to each of us personally.

If all the cells of the mind and the body are united in true love, then vision becomes one, thought becomes one, movement becomes one, smell spreads in one direction, words are spoken praising this unison.

Men and women then become united horizontally and stand on the vertical line as God intended.


Why do we value the five senses and what are their basic functions?

The five senses main purpose is to follow love and only love.  When the senses follows love, the eyes, the ears, the nose, the tongue all become one with feeling.  The whole will become one.  The eyes will search back and forth in pursuit of love and the nose follows love, also.

"All my soul and flesh, all my living organs follow this principle. All plants seem to react in their various ways when the morning sun shines, on them, but they all follow the principle because such is the essence of life.

We speak of God's love freely as if we understand it: do we really? Do you know how strong His love is? You've seen gristle on chicken legs that stretches when you pull on it.

What is love, then?

Love is like that gristle that is strong when pulled. When love pulls on it, when God's love pulls on it, the whole world follows. Do you understand what I am saying?

When possessed by love, the eyes become one, the nose becomes one, hands become one, the focus becomes sharpened, all unite into one. Perfectly one. So, we say, "perfectly done!" and all the cells echo "perfectly done!" This is possible, don't you know?" SMM


All things of creation follows wherever love dictates, hangs onto and wants to be possessed by love.

Once cells feel the taste of love, they want to dance.  The whole universe dances in celebration when it witnesses love.  When we rejoice because of true love, the whole universe rejoices with us.  When we laugh taking in God's abundant love, the universe laughs in unison.

It is the same as the echoes of a mountain.  When we shout, "Yoo-hoo!" it echoes back exactly, "Yoo-hoo!".  You're eyes will be open like never before - it is indescribable.  You and I were created to receive that kind of love.

A man and woman in love can move the whole universe with their breath.  Just like the ocean waves moved by the moon's pull, your love's "yoo-hoo" will be replied to by many "yoo-hoos" from all over.

Love is Foundation of Unity and Happiness

"Can you call someone a "human being" only because he has a body? A human being must have a mind also."

Does a true human being laugh when they see someone sad or get sad because they see other people are happy?  No.  This is a human being in appearance only.

Does a true human being laugh at someone's sorrow or become sad when they see others in happiness?  No, this kind of person is only a human being in appearance only.  As human beings, we are capable of all sorts of emotions: delight, anger, love, happiness and so forth.

When we look at humanity in the context of emotional responses we can see the world is united.  

Do not Easterners cry over the same thing that a Westerner does such as death and other tragedies?  The same thing that would make a person from the West weep, will also make an Easterner weep.  The scenes that make a Korean weep will also make its enemy from Japan weep.  Is there a difference between the parental love of a Korean or a Japanese?  No, there are not because it is all the same.

What is the foundation of unity?

People are not the foundation, nor words.  It must be based on feelings like a couple in love.  What makes a couple united.  They united based on emotional feelings.  Isn't this so?  If two people coming together in marriage do not carry out their emotions it is just an empty shell of a relationship.

What is the definition of a couple without experiencing any emotion?

It would be likened to a wound-up doll or a talking doll.  They become a talking female and male doll.  If they feel emotions for one another, then they are not like dolls.

Is there a possibility to have friends without them feeling friendship?  No, there can't be.  People feel patriotic toward their country for their country.  Those who feel this love for their country can unite with others with the same feeling.  Isn't this a great thought?

Love is the foundation of unity and also of happiness.

Is it possible to have happiness without unity?  Mothers and fathers become one to be happy.  Parents and children must become one to be happy.  Is there happiness in a family that is full of disarray?  How can there be happiness with a family that quarrels and fights among themselves constantly?

They will not know happiness in this setting.

This is the formula - there is no unity without love, and no happiness without unity.  How can we attain this happiness?  First, two people must become one.  When one weeps, the other weeps.  When one laughs so does the other.  When one goes, so does the other.

How do two people become one?  They unit through their feelings of emotion.

The highest authority is the heart.

Internal unity needs to be achieved more than external unity.  How can there be happiness or peace within a family if the human heart does not participate?  The human heart transcends history, following absolute standards.


Unity Through United Hearts


"This is the universal temple where unity is attained. But people tend to think they can attain unity only because they arrived here. To achieve unity, however, one must want the unity of heart from one's own deepest heart and must be prepared to overcome all sorts of hardship on the way. We must be prepared to die for the idea of unity."

Many people cannot achieve unity even when they are pushed.  Is it easy for you to unite with another person?  We must be in unity first within ourselves. How can we unite two separate entities without  first uniting our own mind and body ourselves.

We must unite all disjointed hearts first. We must not fear death if that's what it takes to unite hearts.
 

In order to even begin speaking about working for God's unity, we must first begin to overcome the hardships of our individual and familial life.  Heaven will recognize this merit when you fall from exhaustion from your efforts for peace.

Unity does not happen automatically; it must first go through the valley of tribulation before it reaches a plateau.  Unity does not just happen, we make effort for it to happen.  Don't just remain the flour, we must become the yeast.

We must achieve unity and triumph over the valley of death the same way as Jesus.  

Religious people may wonder why they have endured such hardships.  It is because they have lost their confidence.  As long as people are standing on their own feet, your endurance is actualized in your own people.

But if you are enduring suffering just for yourself and not for your people or for God, then your doubting mind will not receive any help.

When you look around with this selfish thinking, you will look for help but there will be no source of extra strength for you to keep going.  We must offer our life at the altar of God.  Your goal should be for the unity of God and your nation, your people and not for the individual self.


Unity As The Goal Of Love


When does the unity around God arrive and what would this ultimate center of unity be that is the ideal monument of God's Creation?  Would it be the power of God that brings unity?  If power alone exampled in the churches with God could establish an eternal paradise on earth, then this power would have stopped the Fall from happening in the first place which brought about disunity.

"That's just illogical dreaming which only leads to ruination. Power is not it; God's omniscience or omnipotence are not it. You just misunderstand the whole thing. It's not your knowledge. It's not Heaven's unlimited treasure. It's love. It's love that's at the center of all things."

What is unity with love at its center? It's love that belongs to God.

So where should the foundation of unity for God be?

Whose love does a wife's diamond ring symbolize?  The ring is not hers alone, but symbolizes the love of her husband.  The ring will fade if it does not mean love because love is its substance.  Will the gold or gem have happiness within it if her husband's love is lost?

God would be pleased with the object of love that satisfies all of God's mind and body that will make him scream out "That's it!".  That's love.  Adam and Eve took part in their own love not connecting to God's love leaving God out of partaking with them.

If Adam and Eve's first love was true, this love would have made Adam Eve's and Eve Adam's.  and both God's.  Therefore all of creation would have belonged to all three.  Then when this true love centered and connected to God connected the two of them, all things on earth would have been theirs as they were also God's.

That's why love unifies all things. Love unifies God's mind and body, and will unify even the once alienated Adam and Eve, and all creatures on earth. 

That's what makes love such a great thing. Love bridges social standings, obliterates time and space, establishes collective belonging of all to all, and places everyone within the sphere of collective power.

It's a surprisingly great fact that should be taught throughout the universe.

The Fall would not have occurred if Adam and Eve would have connected their love to God.  This is why God had warned Adam and Eve of their misuse of love by requiring them not to eat of the fruit until they were mature.

If they had waited to partake in love all would have belonged to God - Adam would be God's, Eve would be Adam's, Adam Eve's, the woman the man's, the man the woman's, parents their children's, children their parents' centered on the true love of God.  All would belong to everyone else as the firm foundation of things.  We must have a clear understanding of this in the process of restoration.


Love for God is the Foundation of Unity

This love becomes the source of power to unite every nation, to lead all nations for eternity.
Love begets greater love, just as parents love children. Love becomes one. No one can divide one's unity with God in love. Is there any love grander than this?

When we look at the world this way, we can clearly see that no good can come through the workings of the God-denying Communist countries.

Perfect unity is possible only in perfect love for God.

Would God create all things including man in order that they would return to Him Joy or grief?
Where would unity take place? Thinking about it alone doesn't do it. Only love can make it happen. It will happen when your love unites your whole mind and body. That's how it's done. Because of that, unity is possible only through love.

Even Satan will obey love that's higher than himself.

Through this, oneness is possible only this way.  Perfect unity, the final unity of all including the horizontal unity begins with love.  When it is centered around God, the nature of goodness is in love.  Unity becomes automatic true love.  God created heaven and earth to give us the greatest good and to give us love.

Love as the Absolute Secret of Unity


The foundations for the mind is love. If we connect this explosive power of love to God, it would be able to multiply a hundred, thousand-fold.  What is the secret to achieve our wishes and to have eternal life and heaven on earth?

Mothers and fathers will not be able to achieve unity without having children.

The secret is love.  It is the elevator toward unity and its absolute secret solution.  Neither banquets nor money can bind parents and children. Only love can bind them.

The rope of love binds the mother and the father into one. The mutual love of parents is much stronger than their individual love.  A link made of iron will eventually rust, but a chain that is made of love will last forever.

Only love binds brothers, families, clans, tribes, peoples, and eventually the world. Love binds humanity with God as one.

"The reason we prefer love is because it is the foundation that unifies all things. You don't understand completely why love is such a wonderful thing. That's why Teacher brings out the issue of love now."

Without love, oneness is not possible.

Words do not have the power to bind two people.  So what is needed to make two people one?  What if they were bond by material or through a third agent and it disappeared and left them?  How do you bind two people forever?

It is love.  Without love, nothing is possible.

Does love make things grow farther apart or grow closer together?  Closer together.  Love is good; it brings things that are far apart closer together.

Will we ever be able to unite the Westerners and the Easterners with political, military or cultural power?  Mankind has tried throughout history using these tactics and we have not reached a world of peace.  We have not been able to achieve world peace through these fields.  So what can create everlasting unity?

Love can make two sworn enemies one entity and reconcile two extreme opposites. 

Men and women are extreme opposites.

If love is true, you can get into God's bosom, pull him by the nose or anything else, to anywhere in the world, even heaven and hell without boundaries. You can go anywhere, anywhere with true love.

Even the world observes the Principle in this way?  Do you have to have a doctorate to become the First Lady or be highly intelligent to do so?  Can she have just one eye, or one leg disqualify her from being the First Lady?  

Even with a gimpy leg, if the president loves her enough, she automatically inherits the title First Lady once he becomes president of the nation.  Even a peanut farmer can leap to greatness if he is loved enough by those who are great.

Is love so powerful that this is possible?  How is it possible?

Love unites and transcends all things, there being nothing irreconcilable through love. No matter what kind of sin you might have committed, God can forgive and fill in the gaps with love.  Don't you believe that? Is that true? This is always possible. If Rev. Moon didn't know this, he would have faded a long time ago.
