How to Strengthen the Power of the Mind

When the sinful body is led by the godly mind, true love comes into being.

The essence of strengthening the mind is to toughen your moral will. What if everyone in the world lived by God's moral code. We would immediately see peace in the world. All conflicts would be resolved through God's point of view.

We must start with the basics. To strengthen the mind, it must be built up daily like a muscle through daily habits.

Through the small choices to do the right thing everyday, despite any fear, distress or fatigue, we can make our godly mind stronger than our flesh. Therefore, to strengthen this mind, we need challenges which allows us to encounter adversity and develop inner strength and will.

Here are five ways to harvest these skills:

1. Determining and realizing your goals

The most basic way to strengthen your will is to make a determination to God and yourself and achieve your goals.

For example, this could be talking to a relative that you know is distressed over a situation instead of enjoying a book. Or choosing a career that serves humanity such as social work.

To challenge yourself more, you can set goals that rely only on your spiritual power, deep prayers, studying the truth, and your acts of true love.

“Twelve years ago when I first came to Mountainview High,” recalls a physics teacher in a rural school

in the American Midwest, “I swore that I would bring the white and Native American students and faculty together in a tangible way. I prayed about it every day, stuck my neck out more than a few times, got misunderstood a lot and once almost lost my job. But now in the faculty there are cross-cultural friendships developing and this year the president of the student council is a Native American boy.”

To make promises to God and fulfill them is significant to reverse humanity's betrayal of the Creator.

This is the most powerful way to get divine support, also through building your self-respect and faith in yourself.

Heaven and other people notice the one who can always be counted on to fulfill their promises and carry out their responsibilities.

2. True Love as a Motivator

To have motivation will give you the power to go beyond any discomfort when it depends upon meaningful purposes that make the sacrifices you encounter worthwhile.

The strongest motivator is true love.

Love is the key to unification of mind and body.

This kind of love is familiar to parents.

A father son team was the first team ever to finish the Ironman Triathlon World Championship in 1999. Dick Hoyt, was 62 and still raced every Boston Marathon for over 20 years while pushing his paralyzed adult son, Rick in his wheelchair.

His son excitedly declared that, “It was as if I wasn't even handicapped!” This was enough motivation for his father to challenge his every physical limitation and give his son such an awesome experience year after year.

The power of love is behind the heroic sacrifices of religious and national lore.

Many of the first Pilgrim settlers to North America starved to death instead of eating their grain that was later to be planted. They endured such hardships out of love for the next generation and the hope to build a community that could worship freely unlike their previous community.

Christians recount how St. Peter faced a painful execution upside-down on the cross gratefully out of love for God and his Savior Jesus Christ.

Whether if such acts are done on legendary proportions or just a small act of unselfishness found daily, true love is the strongest means to subdue your fallen body.

3. Acting on Faith

We can mobilize a tremendous power of self-control when we can sustain a great vision of the future despite any obstacles we face right now.

Debi Faris is a woman who is familiar with heeding the call of her heart and conscience in faith. As a wife and mother of three teenagers, she heard this call when she heard news of an abandoned baby found dead. She arranged to give the child a proper burial, and soon, one child led to three.

Her middle-class family committed to ultimately $27, 000 in expenses despite other pressing expenses her family had. She recalls, “I remember praying, “i don't think I can do this, God. I don't think I have the courage.

“I stayed quiet for a while until I sensed that what we were doing was right. It was an act of love, and at that moment I made a commitment to offer it to any child who needed it.”

She has since raised funds and organized volunteers to found a cemetery for abandoned babies called, “Garden of Angels. She fights for legislation to help prevent further tragedies.

Such people who believe in their own gifts or that truth and goodness will ultimately win, those who cultivate the power of faith and hope and demonstrate “sure of what we hope for and certain of what we do not curently see” (Hebrew 11.1) have a priceless advantage that enables them to harvest their strongest resources to unite mind and body.

4. Service

Serving others physically such as massaging an elderly person's back, preparing food for homeless shelters, picking up bags of trash for the community, these practices are especially helpful for training our moral will through demonstrating humility.

A man and his comrades of a service club recalls how they were ready to do whatever work was necessary for his community without any fanfare.

“The staff at the rehab center were surprised to see middle-aged men willing to just set up the party, serve the boys soda and food and take down and mop up afterwards. And it didn’t do this CEO big shot any harm either to do grunt work for a bunch of not-too-grateful teenagers. I think I learned a few things.”

5. Connection with God

Ultimately all of these methods used to strengthen the moral fiber support the greatest remedy for the mind and sinful body to unite: only through the connection to the divine Source.

The first necessary step is to center your mind on God.

Then your body will automatically become one with your mind.

Through prayer, worship, study of God's words, supporting the spiritual community, acting on faith, fulfilling goals, being humble and offering service, all of these time-honored ways accesses the Heavenly Parent and tremendous resources of strength.

“Live by the Spirit, and you will not gratify the desires of the sinful nature,” promises St.

Paul (Galatians 5.16).

The stronger the bond with God, the more readily your mind can conquer the fallen body.

Corrie Ten Boom was a watchmaker who was sent to Hitler's concentration camp because he rescued many Jews. After the war, he gave lectures about God's love and forgiveness and healing of wonds caused by the war. After one of her lectures, a former S.S. guard of her concentration camp waited at the back of the room

She instantly flashed back to the time she and her sister were forced to walk naked in front of the male guards on the way to the showers. They were ill, cold, hungry, elderly and in deep pain. They were also mocked sexually by the guards.

She remembered at that moment, her sister's pained face as she had to bear the humiliation in front of the very guard who attended her lecture.

Unfortunately, her sister died at the concentration camp. This former guard now came up to Corrie and acknowledged God's forgiveness of his past and he now asked for hers. He held out his hands to her.

She remembers, “I tried to smile. I struggled to raise my hand. I could not. I felt nothing. Not the slightest spark of warmth or charity.”

Yet her strong religious beliefs told her she must forgive him. She breathed a silent prayer to give her the strength to do the right thing. She resolutely took his hand in to her own matching her deds to her highest ideals and loftiest words.

Then, “As I took his hand the most incredible thing happened. From my shoulder along my arm and through my hand a current seemed to pass from me to him, while into my heart sprang a love for this stranger that almost overwhelmed me.”

She then cried out to this soldier that he was her brother and assured him her forgiveness. Through her willingness to act upon the beliefs she always lectured upon, she unleashed a flow of true love which liberated both persecutor and persecuted.

To love another at the most difficult time requires the capability of the mind to assert itself over the demands of the satanic body.

Such efforts reduce the unnecessary pull of the flesh and at the same time enhances our moral and spiritual strength. Thus, the mind and body can unite centered on God's ideals.

Then, the heart is also liberated to give of itself freely and unselfishly, and reap the rich rewards therof.

Such a world of experiences would be the Kingdom of Heaven on earth.

Let's Plant Seeds of True Love

“When you plant a seed of love, it is you that blossoms." Ma Jaya Sati Bhagavati If love does not exist, then oneness cannot  be achieved. When two separate entities become united into one, there are no such words on their own that can bring this unity about. Two can become one through material objects, but once the material are gone, so does the unity. Also, if there was a third party which brought this unity of the two things together, unity disappears once the third person separate.   In order for two to be one eternally, there has to be love. It will not work without love. From the viewpoint of God, the universe's essence is love. If you were to look at the world from God's viewpoint, the universe is the essence of love. Through true love, unification automatically will come about.  Once we love at the level higher than Satan's selfish love, then, Satan will also be pulled in. We can look at love in this way: God created Heaven and this earth and gave it to us as the utmost goodness and love. The power of love bridges the gap between upper and lower and transcends space and time.  Many romantic movies use this basic standard of the rich man falling in love with the pauper woman. What is witnessed in the presence of love? Wouldn't it make sense that things that are far apart would come close together when love is around? Why do we all like love?  It is because it can bring things that are really far apart come close and bring them into one in unity. Who or what power will be able to bring the different cultures together?  We have seen humanity try through politics, military or cultural power. None of these certain powers will bring about lasting unity and peace on this earth. So, what will bring about this oneness we all seek? It is simply the great power of true love. Once you see from this pure viewpoint, we see why we like love.  People like love the most because it is the subject that brings everything and makes it theirs. There is no one alive that is so cold that they cannot be melted by the power of true love. When we see how great and powerful Godly pure love is and observe humanity, we see that people do not know the full potential for love to bring about world peace. This is why the Messiah comes to teach us about the true power of the original love of God. If there is a person who has a true loving heart, they can unite extreme enemies who once vowed to kill one another.  They can only do this through the power of true love. Love can unite the most extreme and opposite things. What is a man or a woman? We can see them as poles.  In the original world God created, if a woman was to tell another woman that she was IN love with her because of her soft hands, this would be offensive. Even though in our current society, all situations are acceptable, the idea of two women would be viewed as unideal in God's heaven because they are of the same polarity. Men and women are on the opposite poles of one another.  What brings about unification? The method that can unify all things is the idea of living for the sake of another. For example, if we want to unite North and South Korea, do we do so by the familyship of Kim Il Sung? Could he bring about unity of the two enemy countries? Those of faith do not follow that way. Everywhere love dwells is good and desirable.   If we could come to a position in North Korea to give out love eternally, the love given to the higher degree will cancel out the North's false advertisements which control the people South Koreans could unite with the North Koreans by excelling beyond in every field including education.  This way, the North Koreans would volunteer and unite with the South Koreans even if they were ordered not to do so.   Goodness prospers whenever it overcomes difficulty, and it always prevails. It may seem on the course of battle in this religious life of faith that it is difficult for good to persevere, but this one principle of love ALWAYS brings victory.  Unity happen as long as it heads in the right direction. Those who live by this simple principle will definitely triumph no matter how dire their current situation may seem. Any organization that lives by, teaches and spreads the philosophy that personal gain is not for the individual, but is a gain for the nation and the world, that entity will not perish even if the world does. Since Unification Thought, Divine Principle teaches this, it will not perish.     Unification cannot be achieved when we are indebted.     While one is withheld in the realm of owing debt, there cannot be unification. There is no way for the Kingdom of Heaven while there is still debt to be paid by humanity.  A nation becomes a rich nation once there is a means to pay back the debt to the other countries which includes interest. America a once flourishing, idealistic country, now has an economy of debt. Q. Where shall we head? We should go in search of love.  From a human standpoint, we view the world as great.  We have become a world that is hailed as wonderful in the context of people accumulating wealth, ruling over the world, becoming knowledgeable, but these have no true meaning in the realm of true love. We should become one through true love and unite mind and body with our Heavenly Parent on a horizontal (physical) and vertical(spiritual) level. If there is a man and woman who has reached such a unity of spirit and body, they will aligned to God's vertical love. Love is the Source of Peace and Happiness

The more love we have, the happier we become. Love is such that once it is in our hand; we never want to let it go.

Our human will does not govern the source of life.

Only true love can influence our motivation, our course or the end of our life.

We were born in love, therefore, we should live and die for love at the end of our lives.

What do you think the color of love would be?

Would it be a murky black color at night, white in the daytime and yellow in the evening?

The central color of love is where we will find the power to achieve peace, unity and equality for all.  However, if you happen to carelessly venture into love's most holy place, the sexual organs, then you will be judged.

When you find someone to love, your face becomes radiant. 

Only love has the power to bring such light.

Guns and threats can not bring about such beauty, only love.  What kind of love is this?

That love is true love, the love that is the owner of the universe, the center of the universe, and the original fountain of the universe.

Love is the main point of happiness.  It is the invisible order and the peace that serves the common good.  It is the common asset of all humanity and the symbol of God's will and power.

Love holds supreme value which cannot be measured.

Once you have true love, even God will follow you.

When you possess true love, the world will follow you, everyone will follow you.  Once you stand in love's place, all of creation will follow you.

True love has the power that makes you and another feel good even if you stay together forever.  

You will still feel good even though you stay together, live together, talk together, eat together and listen together.

We cannot deny that love is liked and welcomed by all people.

Everyone wants to be born, live and die surrounded by true love.  Such a person has a fulfilling life and is a happy person.

Getting a wink from a loved one can make you feel that heaven and earth were turning upside down.  If you get a smile from the one you love, then you feel all of heaven and earth and the cosmos live within your heart.

People in love become completely possessed by it.  Each word they utter will be based on the love which claims them.

Therefore, love has the power to break down all barriers which humanity builds.

If you think it is small, it is small; if you think it is big, it is big; if you think you can see it, you can see it; if you think you cannot see it, you cannot see it.  Love has a perceptive quality.

The power of love is greater and mightier than the power of an atomic bomb.

An atomic bomb only has the power to leave destruction in its path, but love has even more power to save people and give them new life.

We all dream of a world of peace, where nation is no longer against nation and the people treat each as brothers and sisters of a common family under God.

The only power that can bring this about is not through war or force, but through true love.

Each nation observes their own traditions, have their own cultural backgrounds and customs.  The only way to transcend the multitudes of barriers we face on every level from the individual to the family level is through true love.

As we continue on this path of restoration and love is perfected, you will see that the political, economic and cultural problems, basically all human disputes, will be fully resolved.

Every problem that humankind face today can be fundamentally resolved through the perfection of true love.  Humanity has gone in the opposite direction of this path with give and take of false love.

True love has an unchanging quality and is the same whether it is night or day.  It is not possessed by just one person.

True love belongs to everybody.

Imagine a world where true love is shared freely.  True love has the power to connect to the family, nation, world and the universe.

We must seek this true love.

God became a sorrowful and regretful God for creating humanity that went in the opposite direction of His will.

But, if we were to perfect our love centered on God, He would become a responsive God.  He would experience no regrets once He was immersed in it.

God will rejoice over anything that happens in the world if He is surrounded by true love.

If people could live in a world of true love, they would all live happily, without regret.

If we were able to reach this level of love, there would be no war, resentment or suffering in the world.

All of creation will shower blessings upon the ones that devote their lives centered on love.

Flowers will flourish and bloom in their gardens, birds will sing and want to live in the trees of their back yard.  This is because people who live centered on God's love know the value of all things of creation and truly love and embrace them.

Love is so big that even God yearns for it and is engulfed in love.  Therefore, what God wishes for more than anything is for love, because love is even greater than He is.

Did you know such a fact?  Even God bows down to true love.

Love is in unity with God and occupies the center of ideal circumstances and situations. So, as long as God exists, there is love to be experienced.  

You can find money, knowledge and power in the midst of love. 

Love's power is eternal.

Those who experience true love while living on earth, do not have to learn anything in the spirit world.

What is true love?

On the intersection of the vertical and horizontal line, true love forms a ninety-degree angle.  It must fit wherever it goes.  Love should fit in Eastern homes and in Western homes alike.

True love can fit in anywhere and everywhere regardless of whether there are difference in race, cultural or religious backgrounds.

The universe breathes in and out.  Political power can never control the expansion of the universe.  Neither can all the money in the world or knowledge.  Only through the giving of love.

When you are able to look at the world through eyes filled with true love, when you see a bird flying in the air, you will think that he is chirping because he is missing his beloved.

With eyes of love, poetry and prose come naturally to mind.

Our lives harmonize with nature and reproduce the symphony of love.  That is why a breath of love, a caress of love, a song of love and a whisper of love are all pleasing.

The most evil of forces dissolves in the presence of true love. 

Even if you just pass by or only look at true love, that is enough.

Love is the element that forms the essential part of you.  Before you are given life, love is at work.  It is the source of life itself.  A life that is lived for love is a productive and fruitful one.

On the other hand, a life that does not know love leads to exhaustion and destruction.  You have probably witnessed this phenom in your lifetime.

God, humankind and even the universe have a desire to live for the sake of love.

This is the original way of life.  True love is absolute, unchanging and eternal.  It can not be revolutionized, or developed.  Love's original form is eternal, unchanging and absolute.

The love attained in a natural setting and in the most natural atmosphere is real love.

Once someone opens his or her eyes to love, that person's mind and body will want to form better and multi-dimensional relationships within the universe.  They come to understand the order of nature from the leaves falling in autumn wind.

They will smile and want to become a flower blossom in order to appreciate the beauty of a flower in a spring garden.

The fastest action in the world is the action of love. 

If two people who lived on opposite ends of the earth were to fall in love with each other, their love would pull them together, therefore overcoming the distance between them.

Love has such power.

A person who receives love and receives grace from God looks beautiful.  When we are able to reach the state to feel God's love, we can thus relate and transcend everything in the universe.

When we are centered on the emotions of God's original love, we can have everything.

Our organs and our bodies were created for the one purpose, love.

The eyes were formed to seek for love, the nose to smell love, and the ears to listen to the sounds of love.

Of all the words we hear in the English language, there are words we never tire of and always like to hear and that are the words, "I love you."

That kind of love is true love that the entire universe welcomes. Love is the only topic which all beings enjoy.

True love doesn't lead us to only love those things that are good and beautiful.  We can define true love as that which can love the very lowest thing more than something high.

Love has such a power and quality that even God is bound by its authority.  This means that even the almighty God becomes weak before true love.

Even God wouldn't be able to prevent himself from smiling when He sniffs the scent of love emanating from humankind.  God likes to hear love stories.

What is the most holy element in the world?

It is true love.

True love starts from God. 

What God desires is the path of true love.

You must understand that if you do not follow the path of true love that you cannot have a close relationship with God.

God wants to see, hear, eat and touch through love.  That is where happiness will begin in the world, when people can live fully based on love.

We all want to reach perfection and realize the ideals of our dream, but we can never achieve these things without love.  Everything in the universe exists on the basis of love.

Everything in the creation began life through the original love of God.  

In this world, when you give something away, it is gone.  But in the case of love, the more you give, the more you receive in return.

This is why when we find true love, we delight in it.  No matter how much your give, it will be returned to you.  Then you can always be happy and joyful.

We all like money, but once you buy something, that money is gone for good.  However much you might like power, once you use it, it runs out.  But, the more you give love the more unlimited a supply you will have.

So, what exactly is true love?

It is something that even grandmothers and grandfathers can never relinquish, even in death.

Once you get a taste of true love, you delight in it so much that you can never live without it after that.  This is the same for all people: men and women, young and old, those from the East or the West.

Would a grandfather who receives love from his grand child exclaim that he doesn't like that kind of love.  That he was not used to that smell of love from where he is from.  Would he say that he rather smell something other than the scent of love?

Fresh baked bread or rice stimulates every cell in your body.  The cells respond that it tastes very good.

Love is like the essence of everything.  When you can treat anything and anyone with that kind of love, a path will open up along which you can freely go anywhere without restrictions.

True love lasts forever.  

Love is unchanging: in the spring, summer, autumn and winter; true love when you are in your teens, adulthood and old age; and true love even when you go to eternal spirit world.

Who owns love?

Not man or woman, but God Himself.  True love is the only way for God and human beings to become one, because love is absolutely essential to both God and human beings.

Wherever there is the harmony of love, circular motion takes place.

When humans and God unite centered on love, God can come down, and human beings can go up, and they will meet midway.

Thus God becomes the center of the sphere and then there is a spherical motion occurring with this give and take.

This is where the central point is.  This point is where harmony in love is established and is the place where life first stirs.  This is the starting point for equality and sharing together.

That is because the power of love is there.

The power that acts on and embraces everything in the universe is love. 

Love's quality can never be felt by yourself.

This can be said of happiness as well.  Even the concept of peace cannot be applied to just one nation if the rest of the world is at war or suffering.

You can only feel true happiness, when you can love based on a relationship with another on an equal footing.  It is the same for freedom.  You don't experience freedom on your own.  True freedom is acquired within love, together with love.

Even if a dictator was to give out true love and wield absolute authority over everyone, even with a whip, it would not hold the people back, Instead, it would bring richer joy and happiness.

This is because it is something that is given to others for their benefit, through which someone sacrifices himself to save others.

Love is the pillar that stands at the center where the mind and body automatically unite.

The individual, family nation, world and universe are all situated at the central point at that one pillar.

Since this central point does not move, this is why true love is the eternal place of settlement.

Jesus told the people that he was the way, the truth and the life and no one could come to the Father but by him.  However, he left one thing out, the most important aspect of all, love.

He should have said, "I am the way, the truth, and the life and the love.  Those words should be inserted into the Bible.

When Christians hear such a speech, they will say that it is blasphemous.  But if you ask God or if you just simply think about it, you know that Jesus, God's true son, was love.

From this, we can see that God really likes love, but he likes true love the best of all.

God is the Closest Person to You

What is the highest embodiment of truth?

Parents, husband and wife, and children; there is nothing higher.

What then is at the center of that truth?  Love.

What is the center of the highest truth based on the principle?  We say that God is the ultimate source of truth, goodness, love and life.

They all go to the same point.  The establishment of truth requires love and life.

For this reason, God is the ultimate source of life, love and truth and He is the deepest core.

What kind of being is God?

He is both Father and Mother with dual characteristics.  The core is the parents.  When we view God from this point of view, God becomes a person.

Since God is all-powerful and all-knowing, His face will look rough when He appears to men.  

When God appears to Adam, God's face will look masculine; to women like Eve, God will have an appearance of a women can like.

If God existed before the creation of heaven and earth, how old do you think He is?

If a person can only count up to 70, then God will be 70.  When a kid can only count up to five asks God how old He is, He will say that He is five years old because they do not know anything above that.

No matter how many numbers there are, God cannot be calculated in terms of numbers. 

God is beyond numbers.  That is how our God is.

God also has a grand sense of humor.  He likes jokes very much.  Who do you think would be the greatest king of humor?  It is God.

He has a good sense of humor because He knows every aspect of existence and is all-powerful.

 Who is the great king that can get an audience to burst over in laughter?  It is God.
I am saying that this great king is God. 

Externally, God resembles men and internally He resembles women.  God is all-knowing and omnipotent, but He is also merciful with a heart that can embroider flowers on Buddha's smile.

God should also have a heart like that of the most feminine woman.  Only then can these two side have life.

God is the great Master of the universe.  He is a being that is not lacking in anything.  He has powers and is all-knowing about everything in existence.

Nevertheless, if a loving son pushed His way to God's bosom, would God ask Him How well His son knows Him?

Even if God tried to stop Him, the son would keep pressing forward to snuggle up to his own father's chest telling him that He wanted to touch His chest because he used to touch his own father's chest for so long.

Would God feel offended?  No.  Any father would be very happy.

When children reach physical maturity, they leave their parents' laps, house and leave for another area.   

When the children finally come home and put on old clothes and try to snuggle to their father's chest, would the father protest this?  Even a grandfather on his deathbed would be happy and tell his grandchild to snuggle and touch his chest.

God is the Creator. 

What more could be added to God?

If something is to grow bigger, it has to pull in and absorb something, or somebody has to add something to it.

How can God grow bigger if there is nothing added to Him and there is nothing for Him to pull in?  

This is an important question. I have not discussed it because if I did, you would talk about it carelessly and cause problems. So please research this. I am giving you this as homework. Do some research; write a paper and I will grade it. 

Have you ever thought where God originally began?

Was He born all of a sudden?  People of faith may say that it is blasphemy to speak about the holy Creator.  Haven't you ever been curious as to whether God came into being or He always existed?

How do you think the absolute God originally began? Do you think He was born all of a sudden, coming out quickly? 

We need to have a logical basis to go on.

Dr. Yoon! How did God come into being? Shouldn't someone with a doctorate in physics know this? Isn't it a shame if the holder of a doctoral degree covers his face like that? Church members can only say, "God naturally exists," but this is not the case.

God Himself also had to develop. This is the correct answer. 

What is it that has the power of the matchless beauty of creation? 

Even though God is all-knowing and all-powerful, God is a personal God.  He is a person when He relates to love.  He will want to sleep there in peaceful rest.  God would not tell you do not rest or demand that you work on restoration of the world through indemnity day and night.

This is God's Principle.  It is just like breathing.   When you exhale, you have to inhale.

God also has to rest after work because He wishes to feel the joy of rest.

Everything is connected to God through a give and take relationship.  If God exists, what kind of being is He?

He is all-knowing, all-powerful and His presence is pervading. He is omniscient, omnipotent and omnipresent.  He can do anything.  What if God was to one day tell everyone to serve Him alone?

What if God told all of the spirit world that they must serve Him absolutely because of He is absolute, all-knowing and almighty?

What if everything was ordered to serve only God?

What would take place?  

Because of the essence of our conscience, we would not be able to embrace that in the long term.  This would inevitably cause conflict.  Your hearts would eventually conflict with that kind of law in the future.

The only partner that God can love is human beings.

Why can't God create another God among His creatures?

You may think that God could just create another God just like Himself.  What would happen as a result?  The other God would eat with God, follow Him, they would work together, and stand together.

When God sat down, then the other God would sit down together with Him.

How would life be if they acted exactly the same for hundreds of millions of years?  How stifled would they feel?

Their eyes would turn inside out in a day.  How many days do you think you could talk to each other.  They would say that everything is the same and would complain.

What is at the center of religion?  It is God.

Of course, each religion has a different name for God, but the name does not matter.

God is one.  God is not two.  When people talk about God, they use different names to refer to Him because each nation has a different nation, but the Original Being is one.

Heaven and earth did not just come into being by itself because it wanted to.  Surely, some origin and some motivation based on some source of power initiated this creation.

When we look at this from a higher level, there has to be a basic agent of power who, as a central subject partner moves heaven and earth or creates things.  This being is called God.

No matter which name He is given, the universe needs to have a center.

Although existing beings act and move around, the central being does not move around with them in their world.

Therefore, there has to be a central original being who remains forever fixed at the center of the world of relationships, which are in motion.

The Power of Witnessing

Why do you want to witness? Once you have a successful experience, no one can keep you from witnessing.

When you witness, you open the way for others to be connected back to God who is their cause.  You help people find the correct path toward health and perfection.

Could there possibly be anything more valuable that you can give a person than the gift to connect directly to God?

A traffic cop directs the traffic when the street lights are not working properly and does so in an efficient way.  This is your function, too, when you witness the words of God.

You are in the position to tell people which direction they should go.

People would be grateful that they found someone like you who can guide them through the wilderness of this world!

You are the spiritual 'traffic cop' that understands the great power of the universal law.  You realize that this law is about to collide with America's sinful ways.

Of course, you want to tell the citizens of this country as if you were telling them that a large asteroid was headed toward them.

You want to tell them to stop moving in the wrong direction, however people are ignorant to this fact and don't see what is about to happen.  Therefore, they just continue heading in the wrong direction.

You must explain to them why they have to stop and then show them sufficient reasons.

You have to explain to them, "If you go to the left, you will come to a decrepit bridge. If you go to the right, you will find a good highway."

People seek out those who really know which direction they should take.  

This could explain the phenomenon of celebrity.  People place celebrities on a pedestal just because it looks like they are headed in the right direction.

When people see that you know what you are talking about, they value you more.

If you guide people, you should do so with love.  Love them more than their own parents love them.  Once you love in this way, you find yourself in the center of love.  This is the greatest and most wonderful way to live.

When you live this pure way of life, you find yourself getting closer and closer to the central point, which is God.

Our original nature has the desire to return to the center, our cause.  The center is God's realm of love where we can live for eternity.  You were born for the purpose of returning to the center.  Every single person, whether they realize it or not, has a deep desire within him to return to God.

Unfortunately, people are constantly stopped by the influence's from the world which gradually distances them from the path toward God.  This is why those of conscience live in agony.  They want to go 'somewhere', but they don't know where or how to get there.

All most people know is that they are not fulfilled and they have a hole within them that cannot be filled with materials or false love.  It is a very painful existence.

Those who work hard with their mission everyday, may feel that their central figures may not realize their value.  That person should be aware that God and the universe do recognize his value, even better than his leaders.

The same is true of you.  You may work hard for the sake of others forgetting your own desires, but no one may acknowledge it.  Parents understand that feeling.  Still, you should know that God understands your situation and He appreciates what you do for His will.

The year's motto is "Victory of Home Church".  Home church is witnessing to 360 homes in your area and loving them as your own children.  The people in that area represent the people of the world, and as you shed tears and sweat for them, it is the same as doing the work for the world.

This foundation was laid by the 6,000 years of religious history.

When home church is done successfully, it enables us to launch ourselves like a rocket back to our source, God.

If it wasn't for this superhighway reaching toward God's heart, it would take thousands of years to retrace the steps through Biblical history to restore that foundation.

Instead, you are guaranteed by going in this direction, you can get back to God in a shorter time.  If it is not done here, it takes thousands of years once you enter spirit world to fulfill this mission.

Even though you may be yelled at or have doors slammed in your face, the value of this work is priceless.  The more tears you shed, even though others may not see your value, brings you closer to God.

This is the value of home church.


I have been pushing you in a certain direction, and I recognize that it is difficult for you in the Western culture to change yourselves.  Nevertheless, I push you forcefully to go a certain way. Why do you think I do this? Judged from a personal standpoint, I am losing much more than I am gaining. If I were living for my own benefit, I would never live in this way. I live this way because I know that I can teach you the solution to all the problems in life.


There is always a conflict between the true nature we inherited from God and the fallen, human nature we acquired by disobeying God.  You know deeply that your original, godly natural desires is to be with God.

Once you realize this fact, you don't say that you do not want to go that way because it is too difficult and let others do it.

Once you fully understand that your purpose is to go in the direction of God, it is normal to want someone to push you in that direction because we each have our weaknesses.  But someone who has to be constantly pushed to go in the right direction will never get there.

No matter the difficulty and the challenges to go the opposite way of our sinful selves, it is of the utmost importance to achieve our purpose and goal of returning to God.  Now, that we understand this, there should be less reason to complain.

Thus, you would not look for approval for your witnessing efforts.

God and the universe know that you are still far away from perfection.

You shouldn't want to hear a lot of praise.  You don't want to complain about your situation either.

You only want to go toward the goal, hoping to achieve it during your lifetime bringing others with you on this pathway toward world peace and restoration.

World peace begins with the individual.

This is really all you want if you understand how important it is to reach your perfection.

Those who resolve to go toward that goal, raise your hands. Thank you.

Does God Need Love?

Does God need true love?  We know that humanity has been in search of the purest love, but God has total authority, why would He need love?

Actually, the fact that God is almighty and absolute means that God also needs love more than anyone else in the universe.  Everything on earth only can work through the power of love.

Is it possible for God to have love without humanity or creation?  Is He able to experience joy all by Himself?

Love needs an object to complete a circuit, and even God cannot violate this law. 

God needs someone in which to love and be loved by; but is humanity equipped to give love to God? If so, would it be men and women together or separately?  Will love hit two people at the same time or one at a time?

What is the order of this love?  Who would be the first in this love crusade?

It is impossible to go in two different directions at the same time so there must be an order.  Would you be able to love your mother and husband with the same intensity, or would you love one more than the other?

Can you kiss them or embrace them both at the same time?

In this day and age, the feminist movement wants men and women to be equal, but there should be an order or discipline between them.

Equality and fairness are two different things.

Having blind equality does not equal fairness.  God loves both men and women equally as His children like any father, but there is always priority or sequence that follows.

Who would be the first to love God?  Women would say men come first.

When you make a circular motion based on this external layer, it goes in all different directions and ultimately is self-destructing.  Lasting, peaceful circular motion is always set up around an axis.

In everything, we need this central axis.  If you use this central line, then there will be no destruction no matter how fast or long you turn there. The more responsibility one has, the farther he advances toward the central position.

Who is designed more for greater responsibility, men or women?

The biblical tradition was for men to be given the blessing, because men are ultimately responsible.  Man is the subject in that central responsibility.

Blessing always accompanies responsibility. 

Throughout history, mankind has traditionally lived in this way, with women leaving their family homes to get married and taking their husband's name.  During war time and pioneering times, the women assisted behind the men in their work.

Men are in the subject mode and women are in the object mode.

Would you rather have a feminine man or a masculine man?

Women rather have a masculine man because this is a quality they do not have.  God created men and women in a complementary relationship.

Women are created for conquest of love by men.

This is not offensive when it is genuine, unselfish love that conquers you.  You will be intoxicated by it instead of repulsed by it.  At a certain point you will be a prisoner of love and give everything you have for the sake of your husband.

This is how God designed women.

The more you are conquered by love, the more you want to give. 

This is the spirit of true love.


I am a tough and rugged man who cannot stand any injustice, but even though I have a fiery temper I was conquered by the love of God and became totally helpless. In that love, I was made a lamb. If I weren't caught up in the love of God then I could not stand all the criticism that has come to me, but because of the love of God, the more people criticize the more I like it. In the name of God, I can be persecuted and tortured.


Father said in his speech that God would test him by allowing persecution to come.  When he would overcome, he would be completely intoxicated by God's love.  Then God recognizes him as His son, the living proof of His love.

God gives more tribulation as a condition where He can give him more love.

If Father is able to absorb the criticism and welcome the persecution he receives, then within the realm of God's love, there is nothing he cannot do.

Love is the central theme.  Would you like the kind of love where God allows persecution to come to you?  You would endure it because of love.

Equality is good, but not with blinders. 

Because you are not losing anything, you don't take exception to this, do you?

God created Adam first to be next to Him.

Women are built as objects, not subject.  If a woman was to go out late at night, it is natural for her to ask for a man to accompany her to the dark parking lot or to her car.

But even her youngest brother would be able to go out alone at night without asking for his sister's help.

This is the complimentary order of subject and object relationship which God established.

Father's family is the same way.  His first born was his daughter who is next to him, and then his second oldest is his son who is next to her.  Just because he is the first son does not mean he assumes the first position in the family.

He would not complain that his eldest sister is given first treatment.

Why is this so?

This is the order of love, flowing to the first fruits, then the second fruits.

There is a certain flow and timing which remains as the universal order.  God created one at a time in order, not two at once.  God would not complain about this because it is God's universal order.

This order is established in subject and object relationship.

If all of creation was a Boeing 747, then true love would be the compass and navigator.  True love love guides the whole plane with all its passengers riding in the correct direction.


I have been called all kinds of things, such as a dictator worse than Hitler. Do you think I have the power to do everything at random according to my will? Am I without principles and law? What is guiding me? True love. 


Father is obedient to the law of true love more than anyone else.  He upholds this law and gives his entire life for it.

Does true love have color of white, black or yellow?  True love is all colors.  All colors have come to follow Father, why is that?  They each have a common goal.  We are not just talking about it, we're creating it.

A good example is we have all colors and races under one fatherhood and bound by true love.

Could this be the result of a dictatorship?

You work hard at your mission and it seems like  a thankless, miserable life, but underneath is a burning desire to be a central person of true love.


You bring meaning to hard work.  You do not do it because someone forces your, but you do it because you have desire that is burning, you have peace within you.

This is true love.

When you are activated by true love, everything you do shall have beauty and glory.  If you communicate with God, then you could never leave him.  Even if you were to receive persecution from the whole world, you are able to sustain your ground, because true love of God upholds us.

This love is invincible because this true love is what mankind needs. 

Because those who you witness have to receive that love through you, they have to come.

Once you reach the level of total oneness with God in His true love, then you can enjoy absolute freedom and do anything with God.  In this love of God, there is no deed that is ungodly.  Even if you do things that seem nasty on the outside, they will bring you closer to God.

No deed done in true love is ugly.

What if God was angry about something, but in that moment His three-year old grandson came over and said, "Grandpa".  He would not be able to help but smile despite His anger, because that one word came from the child's true love.

Maybe God was in the middle of making a life or death decision for the universe, but even at that moment that one word of true love melted His heart.

If you have ever seen a moon launch, the moon may be in one direction in the sky, but the rocket will go in the opposite direction.  The spectators do not think that this makes any sense.

Those living in the world would say the same of the movement, that we were crazy and going in the wrong direction to the Kingdom of Heaven.  But our compass has a clear direction.  It is a spiritual compass leading ultimately to heaven.

If that compass leading your heart is true love then you are bound to reach heaven. 

Even though the rocket looks like it is doing unnecessary maneuvers, if it is led by the compass of true love, it will definitely take you right into heaven.

When that rocket led by true love lands in God's love, that love will explode and rock the entire universe.

When this happens, God will be activated in true love and begin to dance.  When God dances, all of creation will harmonize with Him and begin to dance, too.  Even if God stepped on someone's head in His excitement, that person would not complain, and probably ask for more.

This is the power of true love.

The contest of giving true love is the ultimate competition between husband and wife. 

If you are able to say that you love your partner with the true love of God, then no matter how wealthy or handsome or beautiful he or she is, he has to bow down.

True love is the ultimate gauge of value, not appearance or social standing.

If a wife measures how her husband has given true love to his family, if he is defeated in the competition of true love, he has to bow down to her.  If the subject is defeated in true love, then he must humbly come under his object.

This works on every level, as between a head of state and the people.  If a child is on tour of the White House and asks the President if he loves the people as much as he love his parents and he answers yes, then he is a great President.

If he cannot love the people more than his own parents, he is a failure.

Just as the Bible states that even though you may move mountains, without love it does not have value.  What is the expression of this true love?  Unselfish giving in everyday life is the true expression of that love.

This is the way parents have been living for their children and also the way God has been living for mankind.

Any subject demonstrating unselfish love toward his object is living true love.

When a man stands in the center of true love, the Kingdom of Heaven shall be there.  That love will go beyond any power that is on earth and win over it.  Then the power of unity will bind everything together into oneness like glue.

This is our goal on the road toward an ideal world.  Our direction is true love.

When we manifest that true love in our daily life, it is unselfish giving everyday.  You will also always remember your position.

When you get closer and closer to that goal, many burdens and responsibilities will come to you because the time of fulfillment of God's wish for an ideal world  is near.

Even God Prays

As a person of faith, you should create a good problem: be a heavenly troublemaker for God.  That is what Father did when he came to America.

America has reached first class status in the world and has built a prosperous society and culture in the world.

However, I came to shake this nation up, as with karate chops and kicks. Americans resent my disturbing their "peace". But I did not come to destroy America, only to warn this nation that there is danger ahead. If there will be a dam break, someone has to warn the people and bring them out of disaster. You know there is a big battle coming, so you must ready yourself in body and spirit.

You must prepare you mind, body and spirit readying it for battle, have you done that yet?

If you go, you can ask God to fill in the areas which you lack and He will come and help you fill in any gaps you have in order to complete the mission.  He will say, "I'm right behind you, child."  He will think that you are resolute and totally committed to the mission.

For, if God is assured and confident about you, an avalanche of help will come to you. 

You should build up a basic attitude and atmosphere for prayer.  If you do not do this, your prayers will not bear fruit.


In my case, by just thinking about some problem and not even praying about it, already God knew my thoughts and fulfilled what I was thinking. I have such experiences. God went one step or several steps ahead of me. When I discovered that my thinking had been fulfilled, He smiled and said, "See what I did?"

What is better than sitting in a dark room praying for hours?  Knocking on one more door of your Home Church area, in order to save one person even if they spit on you with contempt.

You only need prayer when you have exhausted all of your energy and it still was not enough.  Then, you can pray to God, "I gave all I have. Please come help me."  When you come to the point where you can do that, then you don't have to ask God, but you can tell Him to relax.  

What about God?  Do you think He prays sometimes, too?

We can think a little deeper about this. A father or mother can sometimes talk to themselves, "Oh, I wish my son would do this, or be this or that way." This is kind of a prayer.  God does that, too.

This is the same prayer that He has.  God murmurs about, you, about me and the church.  He will say, "How is everyone in the church today?" He would say, "Oh, my son and daughter, be bold and strong and keep going in the battle today.  I am always behind you."  This is God's prayer.

We are living in an emergent time, and He is engrossed in His concern.  This is the same for you.  You don't have to sit down and pray, you can just talk to your yourself.  You can whisper to God that you know that we are living in a time of emergency and you know what you must do and you should do more for the time which you are living.  This is a prayer.

In practice, you may pray first, and then go out for action. But, in my view, prayer and action are one. 

This is your case, praying and doing at the same time is your life.

Praying and waiting for the answer should not be your life.  If you live the life of unconsciously praying, then you are without a doubt becoming sons and daughters of prayer.  When you give your last ounce of energy and it is not enough, then ask God for assistance and your prayer will be answered.

If this was not true, then how will it be possible to subjugate Satan?  There is an end to the suffering and anguish that Satan has caused God for thousands of years.  There is a way to finally subjugate him.  

You can test the power of prayer.  Take one person, pray for them fervently, constantly, but don't tell them that you are doing this.  Pray, with tears for their well being and then that person will feel the magnetic attraction to you and they won't know why they feel so drawn to you.

If you pray for a person with this kind of heart, for sure, when you go out, that person will come to you.  If you do this with seriousness, then these things will happen.

We know that someone under hypnosis can place a person in another state of consciousness, but how much more powerful prayer can change lives.  There is no limit to the power of prayer.

Prayer is not limited by distance, or have limited influence, because the power of thought travels everywhere in the universe.  With this, you can mobilize the entire spirit world just through the power of prayer.

When you have the right attitude toward prayer, then miracle after miracle will happen.

The most important part of the launching pad for a rocket is the foundation.  When it is time for take-off, it must be strong enough not to break under the heat and pressure.

Your prayer is the same way.  It is like firing a missile; you need a solid foundation.  

You must not pray from greed for yourself. 

When you pray with a public purpose, this prayer will cleanse you and elevate your spirit higher and higher.  When you acquire this sensitivity to spirit world, you will be able to sense the events that are about to happen.  Your perception will become keen and you will be able to prepare better for the future.

You should know that you are actually two people in one body.  Your inner man is like a mirror, it is clean and bright.  Therefore, you will feel anguish when your inner man and external man are not in harmony.  But when they are perfectly aligned, you feel joy and power.

This battle is happening everyday within you.  Immediately, when you see a person, your inner man will be able to tell you what kind of person he is.  When you hear someone's report about something, your inner man will be able to tell you how truthful it is.

As soon as someone walks into a room, your inner man will be able to tell you whether that person is here to bring good news or bad news.  This is what happens when the two men interact as one.

Don't neglect your inner man, but consult him all the time.

You inner man always wants to talk to your physical man.

You inner person and physical self are united once you are higher spiritually.  Here, they have a clear communication with one another.  You will find that you may not intend to say anything, but all of the sudden you find that your mouth is moving.  That is not you, but your inner self speaking on  your behalf.

Even rats of a ship can sense when the ship is in trouble and they run away.  How much more should man, which is God's supreme creation know about life or death situations that are about to come?

Wouldn't God create within man some alert system when a certain fate is coming?  Isn't man superior to a rat?  Through practicing prayer, you will gain such spiritual sensitivity.

For your inner and outer man to become one, you need the power of prayer.

Everyone should experience these phenomena spiritually.  Don't pray prayers that do not have meaning.

Now you have an understanding of the power of prayer.  You body is just like the receiver of an radio.

Then you know whether you will succeed or fail.  You know when something you want to pursue will succeed, because you will feel pulled in that direction and you will be eager to go ahead.

Once you are able to free yourself from your own thinking centered on yourself, you will be filled with a mighty power.  You must be able to win such spiritual battles.  Once you do, you will be entitled to ask for God's power as you pray for the sake of God's righteousness and His Kingdom. Then He will come to you.

Pray and act. As you act, you will know the power of prayer. 

With this kind of foundation, you will discover yourself being different from yesterday.

Make a showdown with God everyday.  When you get home at night and you were unable to accomplish what you prayer, you must pray, "God, I worked hard today, but it still was not enough.  I need Your help."

This is absolutely necessary.  This routine should become second nature, and without you being aware of it.  You can live that kind of life all of the time.
