Sow Seeds in People

“When I give sermons, I speak for five or six hours at a time. I do not do that because I like to.

“The gist of a sermon is simple and does not even require a fifteen minute talk. I speak that long because I try to make it easy for different types of people, for those who have come to hear, to understand the gist by explaining to them using many examples, and to have them participate within that sphere.

“The purpose is to sow as many seeds as possible in the spring season. If I sow many seeds, many plants will grow.”


Where must you sow the seeds, then? It must be an unspoiled place. Where is that?

The time of adolescents.

Once you sow seeds in the young people, this fruit will last a lifetime and will never be uprooted.

When is the time people are most sensitive?

In elementary school.

In the time of middle and high school, our senses become duller.  At the time of university, it is like passing a village, like an activity.

The most difficult time is during elementary school.

Next is during middle and high school. As time goes by, their senses dull. We must sow the seeds of life accordingly.

You can accumulate eternal assets for the future through teaching children at Sunday school children songs and tell them stories or such things.

Testify to God’s word every time you meet elderly people.  

Members are not doing these things well. You can witness better when you to take the bus or subway than driving your car and talk to ten people, ask them question and get to know them.

You can arrange to see them and introduce the Principle, the Completed Testament to them.  There is enough material for you to witness as much as you want.

When you commute on the same route everyday for twelve months a year, you get to recognize and know people by their faces and tap into an interactive network.  Why do you waste time when this path is cleared?

More important than eating is harvesting the citizens of heaven. 

This is our main occupation while on earth is to witness God’s word.

Among all of the works you do in your lifetime, this is more important than a job, making money or power.

Money becomes useless in the next world, things and knowledge are also unnecessary.

In the spirit world, your mind knows ahead of time everything within a week without being taught.

What is needed there is love-centered harmonizing power, love-centered influential power. 

Therefore, those who do not have love-centered influential will not be able to harmonize with the original world that move by the influence of love.

They will be repelled when they arrive to spirit world and end up in hell.

“You say you have lived and worked for the Unification Church ever since you joined it, but you should consider in what position you have worked. Always ask yourselves in which direction you are headed and in which position you are located.

“If you do that prayerfully, God will be with you. You will know it the moment you close your eyes -- even without praying.

“As you go somewhere to give a talk, the right word  just flow out of your mouth. If you come across conscientious people, you are drawn to enter their houses.”

Everything seeks relationship. 

Even flowers have the power of attraction to create relationships.

A magnet in essence is eternally unchanging.

Even if you see someone for the first time, it does not mean that you cannot relate to that person.

If you go to such a place, you feel joyful and are inspired to speak.

What will you say to God who has been working to restore us with great pains to this day find Adam?

Since the beginning of time, God has been looking for a perfect son.

“You all know the Principle. This is the weapon that can save countless people. Until now, God could not teach humankind and consequently had to guide the work of redemption amid ignorance.”

God’s words in the Principle is an enlightened path that can assemble a following of hundreds and thousands of Adams.  We must connect them to eternal life.

The topic of eternal life is a serious matter.

When you are with your contacts, have the heart that wants to convey the Principle to them all night without getting tired.  Go all out and inspire them at your first meeting.

You should not be doing anything other than finding sons and daughters whom you can take with you to heaven. 

If you had hundreds of millions of dollars and lived richly, that will all pass away in the next world.

Invest all your materials, knowledge and your very lives all at one time to create heavenly citizens.

How much you invest will be proportional to the amount of your input your input.
It is shameful for you members to proudly fancy yourselves.

How many lives have you saved from your own efforts?

The degree to which you will be praised eternally before heaven for your achievements depends on how many heavenly citizens you harvested.

There had no been a way to harvest them until now.

They could not do it because they did not know, but with the Principle  you have an A-frame carrier on your back.

You can bring in an explosive harvest once you start spreading God's words passionately.

However, because you are wasting time even with that kind of real internal power, God wants to strike you with a thunderbolt.

It matters not whether it is midnight or dawn, whether night or day. When Heaven is ready to receive you, you cannot say to Him, "Oh, I just want to sleep!" In that position, you just run straight through.
We must provide education concerning the issue of eternal life.

“From now on, assume that responsibility. I cannot curse those who oppose the Unification Church. God wants them to connect with me and commit themselves, but if they drop out that is our church's responsibility and I must assume responsibility for that.

“This world came to oppose us: because of Satan, but it is our responsibility to overcome those adverse circumstances quickly. If we do not, our situation will be all the more miserable from the resultant damage it will sustain.”

It is the same as nursing a baby. If you give birth to a baby, you have to nurse it. That is why people come looking for you.

Therefore, when they do, never treat them coldly.

Be Like God and His Heart

We are modeled after God’s heart and heavenly character

Even the healthiest and richest person has to one day discard their physical body and move on to the spirit world.

Therefore, since death is inevitable, we must all prepare and be ready for it.  We should endure the hardships on earth in order to form a good character that will live in the eternal world.

While in the womb, we need good prenatal care in order to be born healthy.  In the same way, our life on earth is like the womb.

As we grow, we risk our lives to overcome obstacles that hinder us from becoming like God’s form, heart and character.

Do not sin

An electrical pole stands upright just as the mind is straight.  This is why people walk upright - to make your mind completely vertical.

The body forms a horizontal line. The perpendicular force and the force of rotation must be balanced. Accordingly, you must find yourself.

When you say that you are yourself, God should agree with you.  Then your relatives, your clan, and the nation must also agree that what you say is right.

The one who is accused by them is the problem.

In the future, continents will not be as segregated by borders as it is now, but divided between frigid zones and temperate zones.

The time will come when Heaven on Earth will become a reality. Those who want to continue to sin will be sent to the North Pole just like patients with contagious diseases are quarantined.


Live and die for the world

“I did not work hard for the sake of the Asian situation or the Korean people. Think about how to fulfill your responsibilities in the global field and be willing to die for this cause.”

We must live and die for the sake of the world and go beyond the individual and family level and stand on the global level.

What position should we leave the earth?  We should die while embracing our loving spouse, family, tribe and nation.

How will the founder of the Unification Church die?

“I will die for the sake of the world, while embracing its people and the Republic of Korea also. If the Korean people unite and die for the sake of the world, there will be a path for them to be able to live with the world. That is why I go forward seeking that path.”

Work hard

“If you need money, make it. If you need people, work hard without eating and sleeping to raise them on this path.

“Never ask anyone for help. Do not rely on the church headquarters for help; you should help them instead. Work more than three times harder than ordinary people.

“That is why, if I were to live for 70 years, my life content would actually be equivalent to 210 years. Likewise, don't think of living for I00 years; instead, think of working three times harder than others.

“If you were to live that way for 70 years, it would be worth 210 years. Think this way: if you worked ten times harder, you would live 700 years; if you worked twenty times harder, you would live 1400 years.

“You should work twenty-four hours a day throughout your entire life. Only when you live that way can you bear fruit and increase your ownership of love in the spirit world.

“Your fortune of love will grow. Your ownership will grow and your sphere of activities will expand.”
Work for the public good

All the laws of heaven promote public righteousness.

Private matters belong to Satan, and public matters belong to God. 

Go the way of public righteousness.
If everyone opposes you while you stand this course and you are not disturbed by the opposition and go the way of hardship with vitality, you will become a person whom heaven will welcome.
You can observe this principle yourself.  If you see a shopkeeper who is greedy, you will notice that the customers will not buy things from him.


No one likes a greedy person.


Everyone naturally knows how to manage one’s life when it comes to public and private matters.

If you do not make it to heaven, you cannot make the excuse that you did not know how to properly manage your life.

Why?

We already know the distinction between matter that are public and private without being taught.

Let’s say you had a delicious snack that was equally split between you and your sister.  You already ate your share, but your sister keeps her share.

You wake up late at night hungry and you secretly eat your sister’s cake which she had her heart set on to eat maybe with breakfast.

Just before you eat it, or while you are thinking about eating it, your own conscience will cry out, “You devil!”

You should be able to feel your conscience protest before you do an evil act.

Why? Because your conscience pursues public matters. If you follow private desires you will perish.

A mind that follows the laws of heaven is a mind that defends and protects a person from falling into destruction.

God originally had such a mind, human beings came to have the same mind from the start.

This law is not made by man.

Can you reason with your mind that you want to do an unlawful deed because that is the way you think or the way you are?  Would the mind surrender and follow your way?

We may not know directly where the conscience receives its instructions from, but we know it is not from us.

Our mind chooses public over private matters.

When people struggle at they come to the crossroads between good and evil, and public and private matters, they finally fall into a self-centered private life.

Those who fall into a selfish lifestyle will eventually perish no matter how successful they become.

Therefore, they should repent for their past, private lives and push themselves back into a public way of life.

People waver between going the way of a private life to a more other-centered lifestyle.

But after the Fall, people are more inclined to live a private life where they only concern with themselves and distance themselves from the public good.

This is how you have lived your life of faith until today, so therefore, you should repent for living a private life-style.

We all want good fortune and to live forever.

But in order to do so you must become public people.

Become people who don’t just love your children only as your own, but become people who love their children as an offering for the sake of the people in the world who are suffering.




When holding your babies to your breasts and nursing them, think of yourselves and your babies as representatives of the entire human race on earth.




Nurse your babies with such a heart.

Instead of just caring for your own children’s wellbeing, cherish other people’s children as if they were your children with a loving heart.

Babies who are raised by such mothers will certainly become great people.

Such a result may not come to the surface right away, but after the first and second generation of
descendants, great figures who can rule the world will be born in that family.

This is the formula.

Which lifestyle do you prefer to  live to indemnify the past: private or public?

Both have a purpose.

But those who stand up at the risk of their lives to devote themselves for the public good will become great people.

A new history will be created by a group of people like this.

The 'Self' is the Ticket to Hell

What is the greatest obstacle to entering heaven?

Yourself is your greatest enemy.

Hell and the satanic world were created when humanity became aware of ‘self’.  Lucifer took actions centered on himself.  He intensely thought of himself and gratifications only.

What is a traitor?

A person who puts himself before his nation is called a traitor to the nation.  Same with a family member before his family.

This path leads to hell and leads a person to ruin.

This foundation called the self, and centered on the self, leads to death.

Wanting to receive love is the path to hell and belongs to Satan's side. 

On the other hand, the path that wants to give love is the path to heaven and belongs to heaven’s side.
Parental love is on the side of heaven.  It continues to give even when the child refuses to receive.

Though all humankind is fallen, the true path still remains through parental love.

Because God is a parent, and we are His children, that kind of love still remains in fallen human beings.
Where are you headed?

“I will go to the spirit world and stay at the highest point of all kinds of love. Just as there is a North Pole and a South Pole, there is a Love Pole. No matter how hard you try searching at the half way point, or however much you go around, you will not find me.

“Since you cannot find me, you might say, "Rev. Moon went to hell." Would it be easy to stay at the highest point? "I will not freeze to death at the North Pole. I will be like a fireball of love!"

This is a great ideal and a great system of thought. So, everything will be fulfilled. Even God is inside me. The people of the world are inside me. Those who say that they will inherit love are of my tribe! You're not offended?”

If God was to visit hell, all of the satans there would bow their heads to Him.

Even Satan cannot oppose absolute love. 

All the gates of hell would open for God.

This is the basic rule for all relationships of all creation.  The mind has no boundaries.  God is like this; He does not have any boundaries in His mind.

If God wants to go to heaven, He can go there; if He wants to go to hell He can go there, too.  This means there are no walls in the mind of God.

A person who is on his way to his own execution would detest any clothes they wear no matter how elegant they are.

But if someone’s clothes were made by loving hands of his wife, no matter how ugly they might be, the clothes would shine extremely brightly.

We can conclude that anything done out of the essence of love will be welcomed by God wherever it goes. 

Even if something made out of love was to go to hell, God would go and be there with it.

People who go to prison for the person they love, they are not really in prison.

They are in a place that deepens the bond between them.  Therefore, true love can both control God at the highest of hell and at the lowest level.

This principle is the same throughout creation in the earth and in the world of plants and animals.  They all like the song of love.

When you wake up in the morning, would you like to hear the sound of birds singing love songs or the sound of them fighting one another?

Of course, you would like to hear their song of love.

In this universe there are no borders in places that have true love. 

Those who live with true love have what it takes to pass through any place.

They have the ingredients to control God and hell.  Love has the strength to break down barriers and go anywhere.

Love became the pillar that let this universe come into being. 

In the same way, love, false love became the pillar that supports hell.

How difficult it is to make this right after something like this went so wrong.  Even if you wash it with a powerful bleach, because love makes up its root, it becomes tainted again.

Only the strength of true love can make total unity. 

Words of love would even make Satan in hell and the entire world say “Mmmm”.

The power of love makes everything become one. Is there anyone who can deny this?

Our work of restoration is building a cable car from the human world that is in the depths of hell to the highest summit where God is.

What is that cable made of?

If we made this connection with just money, it would snap in an instant.  What about with just knowledge?  Even a cable made with authority will not be enough.

A cable made of love that transcends the top and the bottom should be used to hang the cable-car so it can run smoothly on the cable.

What is a clown’s major job?

It is to make people happy and dance around.  If you cannot dance, at least keep up with the time.

If God was to see church members dancing in such a place, He is not so stingy to say, “Oh, dear, you as the founder of the Unification Church are found keeping time with a clown, then you go to hell.”

God is amazing.  But we have limited Him to our simple thinking.

God’s mind is not small like the leg of an ant.  We haven’t really realized that He is such a great God that if He opens His mouth to inhale all the air in the universe, He still have room to spare.

When we look at God’s providence throughout history, do you think that He send people in the spirit world to hell and only works to restore those on earth?

Since God is love in the highest sense, wouldn’t He desire that His providence of salvation be completed even if it crosses the borderlines of hell? Or He would not recognize those in hell and not mind they suffer for eternity?

The human mind is not like crystal but like ice. 

The mind has all sorts of odds and ends frozen within it after the Fall.

We work to melt it to get rid of these odds and ends and make it into a lump of pure ice that God could suck.

You can only be restored into a lump of ice that belongs to heaven rather than hell once you think you will become pure ice that God likes.

Heaven in Spirit World Emerges from Heaven on Earth

Historically, people called by God were over fifty or sixty years old, worn out and one step away from death.

God used such people at that time, but knew He would work with the younger generation in the future.  Therefore, God was concerned about how to develop His providence through the young people.

Buddha was able to proclaim that he was his own lord throughout heaven and earth.  A person who becomes a complete object partner of God after disciplining himself to achieve oneness of mind and body, he can become his own lord.

“Once, I felt that I was grasping the world tightly in my hand, and it seemed to melt. When you reach this level, miracles can happen automatically. The curing of diseases comes as a natural result of religious life.”

Most people today go about their lives just waking up and eating and going about a daily routine and think they are fine in God’s eyes.

However, unless they are acknowledged as a partner to God and become owners of heaven, they are not fine in front of God.

Satan remains in the place where a person has not established an absolute faith.

Many religions say that heaven will be established by the their church and their founder’s teachings.  This is a fantasy.

Christianity is divided into hundreds of different denominations.  They call other churches heretical or satanic, but they do not do so from the authorization of God.

If churches judge other churches for their own benefit, then their motivation is not pure.
If our church does this, it will also decline.

Even the spirit world has been divided by walls. 

Buddhists and Confucians are separated by walls.

The barriers are overcome by a higher standard from God’s heart.  All the walls from the lowest to the higher realms must be broken down in reverse order.

The walls that separate ancestors and people from many thousand of years ago must be broken down.

All the walls on the earth must be eliminated and a true path connected to liberate hell must be paved.  Otherwise, the gates of heaven cannot be opened.

Members must be a better person than Buddha, than Confucius and even better than Jesus.

Before, religion had a purpose to only save the individual. Our purpose is family salvation.  This is the difference between Unificationism and other religions.

For salvation we are saving the family. When we go to heaven we are not going alone. 

No one can enter heaven alone.

Only after the ideal of a true couple is realized can heaven come about.  Therefore, in order to go to heaven, fallen human beings must go through  restoration and resurrection.


To give the Marriage Blessing to you is to open wide the gates of heaven.


“Through the Blessing, I am opening the closed gates of heaven for you.”

Jesus taught that the Kingdom of heaven was in our hearts.  But Jesus was miserable when he could not proclaim that that heaven was in our families.

When you have a family, you can sing with happiness that we can live in this way.

Yet Jesus who was God’s pure Son could not even dream of having a family necessary for heaven.

Jesus trodden a sacrificial path for three years in order to awaken to the fact that heaven within our hearts.  But then he was crucified.  Now, there is no heaven on earth.

The tracks of the Kingdom of Heaven on earth and those in the Kingdom of Heaven in the spirit world are the same.

In order for a train to pass the border of one country into the next, the tracks must match so the train continues running.

Likewise, the tracks on earth and in heaven should be connected.

The path of true love connects the rails from earth so the family can be the embodiment of love and go directly to heaven nonstop.

Therefore, the individual path should connect to the family’s path going in the same direction.

We are destined to go to the spirit world whether we like it or not. 

We are each like wanderers that move closer to that destination.

The biggest issue is whether you lived a life for others while on earth for just for yourself.  If you live more for others, you go to heaven, if you lived more for yourself, you go to hell.

This basic formula may be argued given your present situation, but when you die, you will know that this is the truth.

People went to different levels in the spirit world. They went to the position that correlates to the degree they have practiced filial piety according to the way of love.  How much they pledged their loyalty to their nation and fulfilled the way of a saint in the world.

People should take the path of righteousness while on earth. The path for the individual, family, tribe, nation and world or God should be one and the same path.
What is that path?

It is the path of original love.

Which world do you think you will go to in the end?  Are you going to heaven or hell?

On the way there are you the kind of person that says, “Father, please help me!” or a person who says, “Welcome, True Father!”?  That is a matter of life and death.

After marriage, you made a pledge to live happily.

“When I say live you should live well, it means that you should become an unchanging couple. In order to become like that, you should go to the ever-changing world and receive training together.

“You should keep your promises even if you go to a world where people are divided, north and south or in all four directions. You should maintain such a well-trained position.”

Children born of true parents as Adam and Eve should have become by following God’s Word, are true children not false, sinful children.

From such children, a true family, a true tribe, nation and world is created.

People in this world will live a heavenly way of life with God.  This is the only way that this earth becomes the Kingdom of Heaven on earth.

You should not think you are entitled to go to heaven. 

You should focus on building heaven on earth as Jesus came to do.

Also, you must become a heavenly person and become united with Heavenly Father to the point that Father’s heart is your heart.

You should be a representative of God’s heart, the Lord’s heart and the heart of your ancestors.  Through this, the historical problems will be solved.

If a person is on their death bed and they tell God, “God, even though I could not live according to Your will until this moment, I tried to go to heaven in my mind.  Please regard me as making the proper indemnity conditions!”

Since God is a fair God, He will reward the person according to his actions, placing him in a position of wanting to go to heaven.  That position can be just below paradise.

Even people in hell are trying to go to heaven.

You  alone are responsible for deciding the actions you commit while you are on earth. And make any recompense for any wrongdoings.

If this door is closed, no one else can open it again for eternity, only you can be responsible for it.
If the door is opened, no one except you can close it again.

If what is bound on earth is bound in heaven, then it should be released while you are on earth. What does this mean?  For instance, if you did a wrongful act and did not compensate or ask for forgiveness for it while on earth, then you will ever be bound to that sin when you go to spirit world.

You will be bound to it.

Therefore, when you go witnessing now, you should witness to your family members and relatives.

If you can claim that you love the billions of people on earth more than your own mother and father who gave birth to you, then you are able to love in an unified position within the realm of God’s love.
Then you will stand in a position not be related to the satanic world.

An original person is someone who is not related to Satan, establishes a family based on the love of the ideal couple and goes directly to heaven after his life on earth.  A world of families such as this would be called the Kingdom of Heaven on earth where people live the ideals of the heavenly kingdom.

Therefore, the fact that Peter was given the keys to the gates of heaven means that heaven is first to be established on earth.  Everyone should know this clearly.

What Kind of Place is Heaven?

What kind of place is Heaven?

It is a place where God’s love dwells at the core.  It is the realm where the environment of God’s love is established.

The kind of person that lives here is one who can harmonize with His love.

Since heaven is the world where we live for the sake of other people, you have to go based on this concept.

If you only want to be served, you will be destroyed. 

Heaven is filled with God’s love.

Heaven is different from the secular world.  We are taught by religion to live for the sake of others, be obedient to sacrifice and serve.  The secular world does not have such teachings.

This was God’s secret strategy against Satan so people could receive a good fortune, even though they are unaware of the heavenly law.

You go to heaven on the tracks of love. 

Love is not like elastic, so when it is pulled, it will not be thinned.

The more the line of love is pulled, the thicker it becomes.  Therefore, when one becomes the king of suffering for the sake of God’s will, this is a secret weapon to occupy the world.

What kind of world is heaven?

It is not a world where people treat each other with animosity, jealousy or turn green over another’s fortune or happiness.



One person's success represents the success of the whole.


A person’s joy is not for himself only, but can be shared by the whole.

Heaven is such a place where people can be pleased over other’s happiness and everyone can join in and rejoices in other’s rejoices.

In heaven, you smell through the air of love.  There is no place in heaven that does not throb with life.
   
Since people in heaven would be from God’s pure lineage, when God is sad, then the entire spirit world living as a cell would feel sad.  Also, when God feels joy, everyone would feel the same.

This is how God’s love moves throughout the Kingdom of Heaven.  The world responds to this love and becomes artistically beautiful through the relationship between the elements of creation which are all connected by lineage.

If God is happy, you are happy; if God is sad, you are sad. 

Will we struggle in heaven?

Wouldn’t that world be boring?  What would we do there?  When you eat, you should do so feeling love.

 You should wear clothes feeling love -live feeling love and travel embodying God’s essential love.

If we do not live in this way daily feeling God’s love, there will be no harmony.

A person who lives in this way where they occupy God’s essential love, they will occupy a high place in spirit world.

Why does God exist?

He came into being and lives through true love.  For this reason, we were born and live because of true love.

True love expressed through human beings is the blossoming of absolute value. 

God and human beings do not have a reason to complain when we live in this way.

Human beings are the flower of the universe; with true love as the center, both sides become one.

The right and left sides will both scream out in joy with their hands in the air. Everyone unites and releases a fragrance.

While we are on earth, we train to attend God.  We should attune with other peoples’ minds.

Siblings with the same mind live together in the spirit world. If  you aren't trained to live like that in this world, there will be a collision in the next world.

God is absolute; there is no forgiveness if you deviate from the Principle.

You should be in accord with peoples’ minds and harmonize with them.

When one perfects his character, he makes friends wherever he goes and can be at hoe anywhere including God’s throne.

How do you go to heaven?

You have to be crazy for God’s love. You have to love God more than Adam and Eve, love Jesus more than Peter.

If you are not able to reach this level of loving, then the realm where God can love cannot be restore.


Do not worry that you have no money. Do not worry that you have no children. If you continuously follow this path for ten or twenty years, you will be able to scale very high and steep mountains.

You may feel when you walk this religious path that you only go through hardships and gradually decline, but actually, you are moving higher and higher.

By being persecuted, the church becomes bigger.

One in the family who is being constantly persecuted for the common good, can become the master of that family.  In other words, he becomes an owner in the Kingdom of Heaven.

Advantages of Marriage

A man and woman will learn from each other through their union things about themselves, humanity and our Creator that can not be known in any other way.


“Man is born to meet woman and woman is born to meet man.  And man and woman together are born to combine with a higher level of love, God’s love. Neither man nor woman can touch God’s higher love by themselves.”

This means that when a man weds, his woman is a kind of savior in countless ways.  Just as a husband is like her personal messiah.  This is the where the foundation for spouses to have inexpressible gratitude for one another.

Oneness between a man and a woman is relative.  First, they have the deal with the inherited legacy of conflict between men and women.  Then there is the inherent contradiction between partner's words and their actual deeds that makes true love itself a great struggle.  This is why when masculine and feminine become one, it remains a grand challenge as uniting the mind and body.



The Rewards of Commitment

In a husband and wife relationship, research supports the power of having continual investment.  A study found that couples whose relationship was distressed that almost 8 out of 10 reported being content in their marriage after they persevered for five more years.

Those who gave up on their marriage and decided to divorce, they were not any happier the ones who stayed married in their peer group, or those who even remarried.

This information reveals the importance of sticking things through and staying commit meted.  If people remained through the ups and downs, this investment will surely yield fruit.

“One advantage of marriage,” notes author Judith Viorst, “is that when you fall out of love with each
other, it keeps you together until maybe you fall in again.”

The heartbreaks and hardships that accompany any long-term relationship can turn into an element of deep bonding.


“I did not even want to deal with all the difficulties in my marriage. It was easier just to put on a game face, have a few drinks and dive deeper into my job,” one man remembers. “But my pastor forced me to say some things to my wife that needed saying, and to face what I was doing wrong too. Now I look back at that time as a period that made us a lot closer.”

The Bible encourages couples to love each other in a proper way - as “joint heirs of the grace of life..in order that your prayers may not be hindered. (1 Peter 3.7 RSV)

The oneness between spouses is a lightning rod for divine blessing.

At the same time, when a man and woman unite in deep abiding love, the joy that is created and prosperity they share from the blessing will spread to their children, all who know them, the greater human community and the Creator Himself.


Identifying with their gender community


Societies used to have rites of initiation when a boy was transitioning into manhood aor girls into womanhood so that they youth could solidify their gender identity.

In modern society, boys and girls still participate in single-gender team sports, or clubs like the Boys and Girls Scouts, to give challenges and opportunities to win respect among their elders and peers.

The military still serves in this traditional way for young men.

Even after marriage, men and women both continue to receive empowerment and comfort when they are in the company of their same-sex friends.

When they are joking around together, this characterizes the banter of male buddies.  They give silent respect and honor one another which in turn renews them.

Likewise, the “girl talk’ between women is a reassuring reinforcement of a sense of connection and support in their lives.

This is why both sexes need to enjoy the company of same-sex company on a regular basis to ‘retreat and regroup’ to strengthen their ability to give to the opposite-sex individuals in their lives.



Unification through Marriage



The ultimate unification of masculine and feminine takes place in marriage and in making a family.


When a husband and wife hold each other, their children will understand and appreciate the opposite sex.

To the woman, her husband and sons represent masculinity in all phases of development.

Similarly, the man embraces all femininity through his love for his wife and daughters. Thus marriage and family life provide the fascinating ongoing adventure of bonding and integration between masculinity and femininity.

Marriage and family life thus makes men and women into a better mirror of the divine. 

“In the image of God he created him; male and female he created them,” the Bible reminds us; man and woman together echoes the Creator’s own “wedded” nature (Genesis
1.27).




Hindu scripture speaks of the original Self, the Creator, splitting in two to make man and woman. Thus each is “like half of a split pea” (Brihadaranyaka Upanishad 1.4.3).

Such a couple is a full mirror of the Godhead. Indeed, Reverend Moon characterizes the married couple as the smallest unit of humanity, in the sense of fulfilling the purpose of human creation as God’s complete reflection and love partner.

The love between a man and woman can be uniquely edifying because they are complementary in physique and psyche.  They can feel ‘as one’.  They can feel knit together in mind, heart and body the same way same-sex friends never can.

When man and woman give into marriage in heart and body, their “humanity is rejoined and fulfilled,” in the words of philosopher Michael Novak.


The result is a certain “distinctive honesty, realism, and wisdom taught by each sex to the other.”19 A man and woman learn through their union things about themselves, humanity and the Creator that can be known no other way.

“Man is born to meet woman and woman is born to meet man,” says Reverend Moon. “And man and woman together are born to combine with a higher level of love, God’s love.

Neither man nor woman can touch God’s higher love by themselves.

In this sense, a man’s wedded woman is a kind of savior in countless ways, just as a woman’s husband is like her personal messiah. This is the basis of the inexpressible gratitude spouses often feel towards each other.


Potential for oneness

Because men and women are indeed made for each other, given sufficient time and effort, the unity of heart between a man and woman is to be expected. The magnetism between masculinity and femininity can overcome differences. Since their Origin is an integrated whole, they too can integrate into wholeness.

Even though such an idea is hard to reconcile with popular notions of romance, it is the ordinary experience of the millions of couples over countless generations who were strangers when married and who grew to deeply love each other.

This is captured in the memorable lyrics of the song from “Fiddler on the Roof,” when Tevye reminisces about his arranged marriage to Golde, his wife, and says to her,

But my father and my mother said we’d learn to love each other

And now I’m asking, Golde, ‘Do you love me?’

After protesting that for “Twenty-five years my bed is his; If that’s not love, what is?,” she concedes that indeed she does.

And so between two people who may not have been attracted to each other at first.

Recalls Ann Meara, half of the long-married comedy team, Stiller and Meara, “Was it love at first sight? It wasn’t then—but it sure is now.”23 This may not be the self-conscious and passionate ardor of young lovers, but it is a deeply rooted, comfortable kind of caring and unity not unlike the attachment a person has to his or her own arm.


Continual Devotion

For this reason, a sixth principle for true love is Investing towards Oneness.

Ultimately the Creator represents the highest and original purpose. Those who center their relationship upon God invite Him to manifest Himself and His beauty, truth and goodness in the partnership and its fruits.

Examples are endless, since this is the dynamic behind all productive
relationships, even in the inanimate world.

Protons and electrons have opposite charges that attract each other. They interact
as subject and object partners, driven by atomic law that contains a higher purpose, and create a new existence, a hydrogen atom.

A professor as the subject partner engages in give and take with her students as object partners, based on the curriculum as their shared purpose, resulting in an enriching learning experience for all.

A band comes together to express their common vision of music, and the members interact with one another in lead and backup roles.

Their degree of unity is directly reflected in their music. A coffee shop manager in the leader position hires counter help in the supportive role.

The manager treats the workers well and the counter servers are diligent and loyal, resulting in a productive business that realizes the shared goal of profits and service to the community.

A pastor prays with his youth ministry staff as his helpers and together they craft a marriage preparation ministry that leads many young people through purity into matrimony and a deeper commitment to God.

Implicit in this observation is that whenever any relationship is unfruitful—or destructive, as is possible in the case of human relations—certainly there is a problem with the nature of the urpose or the interaction or both.

“My high school football team was undefeated in our state,” one young man recalls. “But sorry to say, the victories went to our heads.

We lost our focus on doing our best and got complacent.

At the same time, a lot of us starting worrying about showing off for the college scouts and we forgot about the team.

When we got to the regionals, we blew every game.”

In other words, the team lost its vertical purpose and the horizontal interactions also deteriorated.

World Peace is Our Responsibility

Are you still waiting for the rapture and for Jesus to return?

Christianity teaches that God's son, Jesus will return in the Last Days for the purpose of restoring the Kingdom of Heaven on Earth as God initially intended.

Through the Divine Principle, which this blog is based upon, we learn that the Lord of the Second Advent will spiritually pioneer the way of the cross and will be victorious where Jesus left off.

This is the difficult part of restoring the world and God's people back to their original positions before the Fall.

Since, the Fall began with the first parents, then True Parents must reverse the mistakes of the Fall.

In all of history, when we look at earth, humankind and heaven, has there been anyone who was able to attend these victorious True Parents(Messiah)?

Heaven, earth and humankind have not been prepared to attend such True Parents who do not carry the trace of the Fall within them.  

Now that we are living in the Completed Testament Age, the position of True Parents have been restored and humanity is being prepared to follow to attend them and God.

Is it just enough to attend the Messiah when he returns?

After attending the parents and reaching perfection, you need to restore your own family, tribe, nation and world. God prepared the people of Israel for the birth of the Messiah as well.

To stand before True Parents as true children, you must accomplish the course of the individual level, family level, tribe, and national-level restoration.

After completing the parents' course of restoration on each level, then the standard of parents and children having become one and victorious is thus established and Satan must leave.

Only after this is accomplished can we conclude the restoration of the national and the global level.

Then, what is the mission of the Unification Church and in what kind of position are you who have joined the church? You have been called into the Unification Church, of which I am the central figure. 

As you walk this path or restoration, you have to develop spiritually and physically what has been a sorrowful six thousand years of vertical history.

Then what is our goal?

We must establish a nation of people who are restored to the True Parents position on a worldwide foundation.  In other words, we must establish the world-level nation of True Parents instead of fallen, satanic parents.  This would be a world of peace.

We must eliminate the remaining sorrow, pain and tears of the world as soon as possible. 

As long as brothers and sisters suffer hunger, pain and suffering, a world of peace will never be found.

This is our responsibility and mission.

This is the path you were meant to follow.  You should not turn and look back either with your heart or with your body as the Israelites did.

This kept them from from following Moses and further delaying God's victory to 40 years with the first generation dying in the wilderness on the way to Cannan.

The Israelites suffered greatly in the desert that they even envied their past life as slaves instead of having faith and believing they could conquer the more established Canaanites.

Therefore, we should have the sincere hope to be able to fully attend the True Parents on the behalf of God.

In attending them, we should not attend them after the conditions and difficult path has been laid and everyone admires and respects them.

Rather, we should desire to attend the True Parents of all history as they pass through this sorrowful course.

When you look at the saints and good people throughout history, they have prayed for the day that the Messiah would return and liquidate the fallen lineage and return humanity back to God's lineage.

In their time, even after arduous pray, they could only momentarily keep Satan's attacks at bay.

Our own ancestors deeply are pained that they could not attend the True Parents while they were on earth.  All humankind deep in their hearts have such hopes to attend True Parents.

Therefore, you should become true sons and true daughters of filial piety who are able to attend them from a miserable situation rather than trying to attend them from a glorious position.

Such sons and daughters will cry out that the True Parents are walking the suffering path of the cross that is more severe than that of Jesus, even though the sons and daughters are experiencing difficulty, despair and misery themselves.

As filial sons and daughters they will exclaim, "As someone who attends True Parents, I therefore accept any kind of heavy cross as a matter of course. I praise that, so please, God, do not worry on account of me."

How can we engraft, on the individual level, to the parents' individual victory of restoring the sinful blood to God's pure blood lineage?

Only after we indemnify, restore the worries, pains and sorrow that come to us, instead of giving them to God to bear.

Why have I spread the Blessed Families(families married by the Messiah and rid of sinful blood) out everywhere in Korea? God works with the thirty million people of the Korean people and the entire Korean peninsula, and True Parents are coming to the thirty million Korean people and the Korean peninsula.  Every village, valley, mountain and field -- desires to attend the coming True Parents. 

Serving True Parents is the desire of all people in history. 

You should set an individual standard of indemnity and then become the substantial representatives of True Parents.

You should become the type of people whose whole village will want to serve you without regret.  Of course, True Parents are always in the center making a spiritual relationship with everyone.

There is only one set of True Parents.  However, with limitations of a physical body, they are unable to relate with everyone personally.

This is why True Parents have blessed families so they can stand in the position as their representatives. Therefore, they stand in the position to relate with all people.

True Parents' responsibility is to bear the cross and pass the national level where Jesus had laid the path on to the worldwide level.

Therefore, the cross of the people should be carried by the Blessed Families who live as true children of True Parents.

After the Fall, we fell below the position of God's true sons and daughters.  Through Jesus' difficult path, we were able to become God's adopted sons and daughters.

Now that we live in the Completed Testament Age, we can become true sons and daughters just as Jesus was.

All families that receive the Marriage Blessing which reverses the fallen blood lineage and connects your family to God's direct lineage, must serve as the foundation for the people in order for Heaven to gain victory.

We must love True Parents and separate from Satan based on the standard of original love. We must fulfill our responsibility to go beyond the standard of perfection on the world level.  This is how world peace will come about.

Our mission

We are preparing a foundation so we can directly attend True Parents and assemble other brothers and sisters of the world before them.

We are the ancestors who have this responsibility.  Therefore, we have to remove the path of the cross and persecution so our descendants do not have to bear it.

Currently, the sad situation of humanity is that we pass on the blood of the fallen blood lineage to our children who have to also bear the cross to liquidate their sins.  This is our original mission, not our descendants.

When can God finally appear as the master and Parent of all creation and reclaim His position which was stolen from Satan?

Once the human world unifies and the Abel and Cain world become one.

We can think that all the people living on the earth today, are like children living without their parents.

They fight among themselves.  Therefore, God has to appear as the Parent and teach them that those who are fighting are only fighting their elder brothers and their younger brothers.

Nobody knew this but God. 

The concept of true, ideal parents departed once false parents were established.  Also, because true parents' position was lost, there was no foundation for the ideal children to come.  These positions were sacrificed to Satan.

Therefore, the ideal parents must now appear replacing the false parents linked the blood lineage of Satan.

The time has finally come, awaited through all of history, for God to educate ideal children.  A religion, a movement has taken over this mission.

This is the Unification Church.

We should be proud of the True Parents' achievements.

Next, true children must come together.  They should not just love their family clan, but they should love on the global and universal level.

True children should not say that they only know the American people.  They should transcend any ethnic feelings.

In whose name did the Fall occur?

In Satan's name.

Therefore, in these Last Days, we should jump over the line of the Fall in God's name.

So, God should be above our head and command us directly, just as God was above Adam.

True Parents have no connection to the Fall. 

Our path is to make this new world by gathering people with the true lineage from around the world, who are connected to True Parents and God.

Thus a true family will become a tribe, a tribe will become society and a people will establish a  nation that takes dominion over the world.

Throughout history, the fallen world has been sinking.  Now, we must make a new start and go up.

We are at the time in history where the fallen world and the new world centered on God will meet.  Everything will now reverse.

Then, when will we connect to that central line?

The True Parents had to reach the worldwide level to finally be victorious over Satan who is firing his weapons.

This is why we are experiencing a heavy battle, so we can expand from the nation to the spirit world capacity of True Parents.  

We are approaching the time where the True Parents will be welcomed as national parents.

Life is a Classroom

Whoever truly practices public mind love for the nation shall become the leader and master of that nation. The same Principle can be applied to the world.

Why should this Principle be practiced on earth when not many people adhere by it throughout the world?  Why don't we just enjoy life and then practice such a true way of life once we enter into the spirit world much later?

This is a very clever idea!

This is the only classroom you have.  Therefore, this Principle must be practiced here on earth.

You have to go through elementary school before you can enter high school, correct?  No one can just skip any of the material.

When you enter college, you still use the same formulas you learned in your elementary and high school days.

No formula can change; all it can do is expand.

The spirit world is a higher realm that is completely Principle-oriented, public minded, and sacrificial.

If we do not practice this right way of life here on earth, then we cannot unite with the spirit world.  This is what is deemed as hell, where there is no movement or growth, just suffering.

Even though the spirit world and physical world have been divided after the fall, they both operate on one principle.  In order to enter the spirit world and practice that principle on a higher level or plane, you must first have practiced it here on earth.

You elementary work must be done on earth so you can continue in spirit world.

If you are unable to reach the level to feel the love of God on earth, you will not feel it once you reach spirit world.  Thus the Bible states, "What is loosed on earth, is loosed in heaven."

You enter the level of spirit according how you lived on earth. No one is sent anywhere, but is his own judge based on the level of his own immature or mature spirit.

What kind of temple do you think God would want?  We should each be the temple of God.  God dwells within each of us.  In true love, He would like to look, smell and hear through your eyes, nose and ears.  Your five sense become God's instruments.
Through them, God can perceive His way.

When the mind is fully contented in the love of God, the whole body will thus be contented.  When the mind has love, it becomes exuberant and ecstatic.

When there is love, therefore, there is freedom. Without love, everything is in slavery.

A person who takes drugs in America will think he has found freedom.

Actually, he cannot find freedom in drugs.  This person creates his own hell because no love dwells in him.  How does taking drugs bring about the purpose of the whole of world peace?  Can one bring about unity through such behavior?

All creation was made for God's love.  You become the temple of God when you live as a public person.  Look through your eyes in God's way; have God's hearing; God's smelling, God's voice, and God's touch.

If the brothers were to look at a beautiful woman in God's way, how would he think?

Would he look at her lustfully, thinking how he could get her to bed?  Does he think about how to make her happy?  How can he make her better and whole?

A brother would want to convey something with a public-minded love of God so that she becomes in turn public minded who is another beautiful temple of God.

If you find there is no love of God within a person, then you want to give love to him. 

How noble that is to give love to one who may have never experienced true love.

Naturally, when most women see a very handsome man, they wish that they could go on a date with him.  The godly vision is different from this fallen way.

Once you place God inside of you, your world concept changes.

Even though you may not have wealth, it does not matter.  As long as you practice love, you are the richest person under the sun.

You know that God dwells within you when you have a mind of Principle, a public mind, a sacrificial mind.  That is the place where God rejoices.  You must see that the moment you complain, become depressed, give up, God is leaving you.

You cannot afford to lose God.  So, you try to improve in order that He will stay.  As long as God stays within you and you think in God's way, there is no complaint. But once God leaves, you lose everything.

Many good-looking American brothers ask Father to match them with a Korean or Japanese fiancee.  Why?  Because Father, who is from Korea, represents the whole Oriental culture, and through him and his teachings, you have had a taste of heavenly love.

No one can take that love away from you.

An elderly Korean woman who has been a member ever since the beginning told father that she must see him three times a day or she would become crazy and could not live.

She said that her life was hell because she could not see him everyday.  He never showed her any special treatment in the past and he always treated all the members the same way.

She said, "I feel shy to say this, but I love you, Father."  Father did not show any grand miracles, but there is something within him that touches everyone's heart.

It is the love of God.  It is like electricity, it is not visible, but you know that the current is flowing when you have been touched by it.

God is a super person, but He works exactly the same as you do.

You are specially attached to the clothes you wear, even your eyeglasses.

If we are in the image of God, do you think God's mind works that way?  Would He feel a certain attachment to an object or a person?

Since God uses our body as a dwelling place, would He have a certain attachment to us?

God lets us suffer as people of faith, but that is the fastest way to welcome Him within us.  God enjoys the love that is public-minded and sacrificial.  You are going to resemble God.  When you go inside of God and He comes within your heart, you have total freedom.

You have no strange feeling at all when this occurs.

If God dwells in you, but you still have selfish, sinful thinking, then you feel as though you are choking.

This is God saying, "You're wrong.  Change your mind."

Unless you live the public minded way, God wants to chop off the hand or limb that disobeys His principle.

There is no way that He can stay within you otherwise.

To keep God within you, and to make Him happy, you have to practice the three points explained in the previous post.  You must be a principled person, you must be public-minded, and you must be sacrificial.

Within God, there is no national boundary.

That is why this love can extend even to your enemy.  Then, true unity between mankind and God will be created.  True unity between the spirit world and the physical world can be created.  God is that catalyst.


Within your heart I have planted a small seed of God's mind. That seed must germinate and grow bigger and bigger, reaching out to your family, society, nation and your world. If you have a difficult task ahead of you, go after it.


By going this way, you are not asking for an easy way out or looking for a clever way.

While you are tackling this difficult mission, there is no room for complaint.  When you are truly trying to practice everything within love, how can you complain about the difficulties you encounter?

You cannot complain against love. 

God will be within you while you are searching after that love with a grateful heart to give glory and praise to God.

Since you want to be the dwelling place of God, you should be serving and praising Him all the time.  If God is within  you, you want to make Him happy, so you practice the Principle way and become public minded.

To truly have God live within you for eternity, you must be sacrificial.

When you practice this way of life, you cannot go wrong.

Automatically, when someone is nasty to you, you may want to fight back.  But then you think that for the sake of God you must win him over. That is how you change your fallen mind toward the more public mind.

God loves love and wants to dwell in love. 

The church is not the dwelling place of God.

He doesn't want to dwell in the church, but in me and you.  The church is merely an organizing systematic way of teaching the Principle way.  Don't think you are only a part of the Church; the Unification Church is for you. It is at your service.

The work you do for God's will is for you.  The church is only an instrument to merely come to assist you to go to heaven.  How thankful you should be.  If the church is here to serve you, then how can you complain?

You must know clearly that the church, God and the Messiah are mobilized for your sake.  Now you clearly know who God is and who you are.  Did you forget?  You are the dwelling place of God.

Then your eyes shall become whose eyes?  Once your eyes becomes God's eyes and your ears are God's and so forth, God would feel they are working for Him.  Then once you hear something, you know immediately if it is a satanic sound or a heavenly sound.

If a European was here for the workshop, he may want to go back to Britain where he thinks the job is easier.  On the contrary, they must think that the job is not hard enough.

What place would be the hardest work for God's will?

Africa, or South America?

Even though a person and his family may not welcome the idea of moving to Africa, it does not matter.  They will go anyway.  Is this wrong?

Now you understand that suffering creates a larger shopping bag for you to hold the love of God.

That fragrance of that love is so wonderful that black, white, and yellow people will feel heaven in it.  Through your God-centered suffering, that kind of container is created, and you want to give that package of love to the world.

If people reject you, you do not lose.  That package of love is then passed down to your own children.  You do not lose anything.  One way or another, you are a winner.

Be thankful as you live this way of life.  Digest everything so there is nothing stuck in your stomach.

Is there anything harder than a marriage of two people from enemy nations or other countries who do not speak the same language?

If you are able to unite these two extremes in marriage, you can digest anything.

When you can serve a strange husband or wife, you know that you are just sampling the difficulty that is ahead of us as we travel this pathway toward world peace.

When you serve in your home, you should be principled, public minded and sacrificial.  That way of life will grow like a snowball rolling down the hill and will cover the world.  That world will become the dwelling place of the infinite love of God.  Amen.

Love is the Bait

The Western way of demonstrating love is often superficial, like a fly trying to break through a wall. 

The traditional Korean couples shows their affection differently than the Western way.

When it is time for the Korean husband to leave for work, there is a depth of communication as they look at each other.  There is no need for kissing and hugging.

The Western wife is more open with her love.  She may give him a quick kiss and talk about what she was going to do for the day. The Korean wife is a few steps behind, as if she is shy, and her husband has to turn to look at her.

As he walks away, she would say a tearful prayer for his day and safety.  This is the most mystical relationship.

This is the time to understand this kind of deep love.

When you taste the style of love from the Orient, you do not want to come back to the tasteless Western way.  The Orient has s mysterious way of expression that is done without words.


Father:

"I am a puzzle to Americans and though they study and analyze me, they cannot measure me. You too are trying to size me up, but there is an infinite quality about me that you cannot digest.
I speak for hours at a time each Sunday and at leaders conferences, but I never run out of things to say.

Do you feel some charm from me? But I am also very fierce. You Westerners have such big eyes that no one will be really afraid when you get mad, while my eyes are so small that you don't know what is happening inside and you tremble when I get mad.

But no matter how mysterious and deep I look, if there were no love in me I would be like the desert. 

The sweetness comes from love.

In our church life, there is a bitter, difficult side but every one of you has tasted the sweet side of love here also.

Do you feel drawn to me? Once you taste the sweetness of love, even if you are criticized or pushed out, you cannot separate yourself from me." SMM



Everyone would agree that God is the master fisherman.  He is very wise.  What kind of bait do you think God as a fisherman would use?

The greatest bait God would offer man is love and truth.  You and I may use the same word 'love' to describe our feelings for something, but the quality of what we mean is very different.  Satan's love is self-centered, self-seeking while God-centered love is always unselfish.

In order for the world to be restored to the original heaven on earth, which God planned, all of the history of mankind since Adam and Even had to be indemnified.  This means reversing the fallen act of unmarried Adam and Eve which caused the fall of humanity to this day.

Historians have researched and tried to understand the causes of what was happening in history, but they never understood the reason for them.  Only with the teachings in the Last Days do the answers to the fundamental questions be explained.

When we look at the decline of morals in the Western society, we see that the people are on an useless march toward death today.  Older people are in the front, middle-aged people next, and the young people follow right behind them.  Since young people are at the back, God is able to reach them first to turn them in a different direction.

God chases the crumbling civilization in order to turn the people around.

America's young people are rebellious and they mistrust older people, but God is also working through that.

Actually, this kind of 'rebellious' attitude makes it easier to turn the youth's thinking around.  God creates environments where the young people who are searching for great ideals can easily join religious movements that are making changes in the world.

Young people have not left anything to the imagination, they have tried everything from streaking to pre-martial sex at the youngest ages.  They know that they are behaving just like the animal world, so at some point, they long for some purpose and value.

When God sees people who have this kind of longing for some ideal, He can more easily work within that person's life.

Help comes in the form of the East.

Those who are in the drug and free-sex lifestyle are tangled in a huge net and start to rip that slavery to this behavior once they hear the depth of truth.

The first test Father encountered when he came to America is that the people would not feel that he loved them as much as the Asian members.

Then after Father would pour out his heart with depth and long speeches to save America, they would discover that no one has ever worked harder.  In fact, Father gave the most difficult task to the Korean and Japanese members to suffer for the sake of America.


At one time, I was persecuted and tortured by Japanese people, but now I don't feel they are my enemies; I truly feel a father-­son relationship with them. When I ask for something to be done, they absolutely follow my instructions, without adding their own interpretation. They are absolutely loyal and trusting. You know now that I truly love America. 


You have worked hard for the restoration of God and the world and have ended your death march.  Now, it is time to go back to your hometown and build and save your family foundation.

The parents have been going in the wrong direction and all of the sudden they look back and see that their children are no longer following behind them.  In the Unification Movement, parents have hired deprogrammers to kidnap and try to erase what they are taught.

The parents rather have their children experiencing promiscuous sex, drugs and wild behavior than to be taught the Completed Testament, the Divine Principle, which this blog is based upon.  What kind of parents can they say they are?

It is up to every member whether they rather stay in the movement or to run back to their parents.  If you cannot be victorious over your own sins, how can you imagine to conquer over the world's problems?

We need people of discipline to do this work.

We are marching toward life instead of death. We are able to save those who are on the death march.  God has the central thinking that young people must come to do this work first so they can be the prime movers of morality.  Is this the right way of thinking or the evil way?

When you first have an understanding of these revolutionary teachings, your concept about family, life, society, nation and world become pure and different.  This way of life is complete opposite of the satanic way and you may wish that you have not come upon the truth which you were seeking.

Even if you were able to deny your discovery of this teaching, you still would be able to know that America needs to turn away from the path which it is following.  America is suffering and going down into the pits of hell.  Without knowledge of the Completed Testament, there is no way for survival.


Americans will realize that they definitely need me; when that time comes, I will leave America. I have much more territory to cover for the sake of the world. We have missionaries in 120 nations and I will meet them on their battlefields. I know when I visit them that I will find them being persecuted and enduring suffering. I will go and vindicate them and they will be victorious. 


How would Africans feel when they hear that such a man is in their country?  You should plan your entire life.  There are three stages of adult life:    fifteen to thirty is the formation stage; thirty to 45 is the growth years; and 45 and beyond is the time of perfection.

Father made a goal to be number one in every challenge: in eating less food, sleeping less than others, working harder and be his own harsh critic.

In that respect, he was able to set world records.  One of them giving an over twenty-hour speech at a conference nonstop.

Not only God's world welcomes such a person, but the satanic world has to welcome him and surrender to him.

Since the Divine Principle is filled with such secrets such as the original sin of Satan, how to bring families together and a world of peace, those who spread it get much opposition.

Instead, the nation should have supported such efforts instead.  Children born of such members are the brightest American young people and someday they may become the national leadership.

America is the slowest to awaken to the new truth; other nations-and even the communists have already realized my significance. 

One after another, God will remove from office the unrighteous legislators; the makeup of the legislature will change. In time, Congress will take the position of supporting and welcoming me. That pattern has been seen in Korea.


When one side attacks us, God always prepares another side to give us support.

The principle has been taught for over fifty years and have not only changed lives, but have moved nations and peoples with its historical information.

What kind of world would we have today if Rev. Moon had never been born to relay such timely Revelations prophecy.  Would unity of different races, religions and East and West have happened within that time frame?

People may be skeptical and say the world is never going to head toward world peace, but if you turn around and look at history, blacks were not allowed in certain areas, different religions didn't intermingle and many countries were still at war.

If you venture even further back,  you will see that religions were persecuted more, poverty was had everywhere and suffering was more evident.  In comparison, we can see the work of God, people of faith and the Second Coming will truly usher in a heaven on earth which God wished from the beginning.

Could you seen God's precise plan that He has hidden in the Bible without this teaching?  Sometimes the information that is revealed seems like a dream.

This speech was given on an early, cold morning, but instead of staying in bed or complaining people gathered around to hear the breaking news.  Who makes people do that?

Only the power of God can do that.

Anybody, even the government who tries to stop this history from happening will work in vain.   The victory doesn't come in an office or in the headquarters, but on the battlefield.

History Going Toward Good

The history of humanity has been filled with chaos and upheaval.  The world was filled with the most violence since World War I.

Many think that these occurrences in history are random happenings, but through the Divine Principle we understand God's careful planning during His providence.  This is based on the period of indemnity.

We are now in a point of drastic history where it is changing.  Where is history headed from here?

Christianity has been built in Western civilization, but as we know that has been crumbling.  By looking at the way the world is, people think that this chaos will only get worse and deteriorate further.  This decline in the Western civilization has become very obvious.

The result of this is that the strong structure of Western families and nations have also been crumbling.  In this environment, it is easy to be pessimistic about the future, but we must remember that God is almighty and He surely has a plan for turning this drastic decline around.

There are two paths which people are going: one path leads toward destruction; the second path, which is of God, is headed toward reconstruction and hope.

God has been working hard for thousands of years with people, so He must be making a great effort to bring each of us to His side.

The world is full of chaos, but when we look back in history, we see that we are moving toward a more heavenly way on earth.

There are two points of view opposing each other in the world - one "atheistic" or man­-centered, and the other "theistic" or God-­centered.

In the past, people thought that science could provide all the answers for the world, but that hope is diminishing today.

Thinking people are realizing that a solution can only come through religion, or a God­-centered ideology.

Those who have centered solutions to problems based on man's theory are now losing hope.  The alternative is to place God on top; above everything.

God has used religion as a tool to reveal His will to man.  Then science was born to be in the position to serve God's purpose.  Instead of following God's purpose of unity, religion and science have been like oil and water.

Throughout history, it has not been easy for man and God to meet in harmony.  There was not a medium in order for this to take place.

Ultimately, there will be one kind of civilization that will dominate: Will it be man-centered or God-centered?

If God does exist, then the future of civilization is headed toward the God-centered culture and it must prevail.

If the primary goal is for the world to head toward world peace, then we know that God has been working hard in the background to bring a solution to man's problems today.

After World War I, two opposing ideologies existed in the world.  People can not avoid making a choice which camp they should follow.  As the Western civilization crumbles, God prepares the solution to this problem in the Eastern world.

Just like our planet turns, so history is turning.

Western civilization has passed through its golden age and now dusk and sundown are coming. Logically, then, the other side of the planet must be receiving sunshine now.

You can see that this is the fact in the latest trend of many Westerners searching the East for answers to their spiritual questions.  America has attracted the best, the essence of the whole Western civilization.  Within its short two hundred years, America has experienced a golden age and become a superpower in such a short time span.

Even with its great history of triumph, are there many Americans that truly honor their heritage or care about their families?

Instead, many are abandoning their families and trying to separate from this country.

Young people are trapped.  They have lost their world, nation, society and even their families which used to be a safe haven.

The youth in America are like a great fish that are caught in a net that holds them fast.  They are lonely, suffer depression and confusion because their nation and family do not have the answers to rescue them from their sadness.

You probably have noticed that many wish to go to the West Coast, which is the closest to the East. God knew such a trend would begin here in America, so He prepared some solution to come from the East.

God is helping people to cut the net that traps them and find new power.

God also teaches them that the reason why they were caught was because they were trying to find a selfish solution to their problems and escape being linked to anyone else.  Instead, one must link to the world, nation and home with parents and become firmly anchored in those systems.

This is the new concept of family, nation and world which God is teaching them.

God has been planning the re­-education of America and its young people but the teacher must come from elsewhere.

God has been planning this re-education of America, but the teacher must not come from within the walls of this nation.

American education is not fit to answer the world's problems.  In order to revolutionize life in this nation, there needs to be a champion for God.  America is not qualified to provide this kind of person or saint.

Therefore, God will look for a person that comes from the Eastern culture which is linked to America and send a teacher from there.


What Eastern nation has unbreakable ties to America?

Korea does.

You must know that the relationship between America and Korea did not come by accident, but is a providential relationship.  If there is a policymaker that tries to break this historical bond between America and Korea, he will not succeed.  Those who have tried to victimize Korea have been destroyed.


The people who plotted to destroy Korea and the Unification Church were themselves destroyed, while our movement is still spreading around the world. We fought a battle in the House of Representatives, and now in the last several days we have fought a battle in the Senate as well, meeting every senator.


In any situation, there is the Cain side representing Satan and the Abel side which is closer to God that blocks the path for the heavenly cause.  This includes the religious world.

Satan waged a war against the Unification Church, with the Completed Testament that reveals Satan's secrets, and tried to persecute it as a cult.  Fortunately, God also used this cause to uplift the church as a major religion and separate it from the category of a cult.

Before Christianity was an established religion, as Jesus was walking the path of persecution, his movement was also seen as a cult with a truth that was not widely accepted in its time.

Now, other religions see the value of the teachings and how the messages come directly from God to lead the world toward peace and don't want to see the church be destroyed.

Now we see it happening in the unity of the major religions around the Unification Church.

Great events on earth always precede great events in God's dispensation.

Three years after World War I, an important heavenly birth took place. Now you accept this explanation, but in those days, no one even thought about interpreting history in that way. At that time, Korea was occupied by Japan and in 1919 they stood up to declare independence.

They failed and thousands of Koreans were killed in the uprisings. It was as though Korea was trying to turn itself around before the great event of 1920. The greatest sacrifice was made by Korean Christians, many of whom were martyred.

Then in 1920, Rev. Sun Myung Moon who wrote the contents of the Completed Testament, was born.

The reverend speaks about his upbringing:

"My home town was Chungju, in what is now North Korea; it was a very Christian town. As a result of the uprisings, the Japanese allowed the Christians to gather to worship in the largest church and then they set it on fire, trapping everyone inside and killing them.

I was born one year after the independence uprising. Chungju was the town where the most Christians were martyred.

The Second World War erupted as I reached 16 years of age, beginning with the war between Japan and China. In 1945, when I was 25, the war ended.

When I was 30, the Korean War broke out, lasting three years. That was a worldwide event with 16 nations sending troops to fight in Korea and combat communism. There is no parallel to this in all of history.

That was one event which all the free world could rally around in the fight against the God-denying ideology of communism.

This was one truly, "holy war" because God mobilized all colors of skin to die side by side.

This was a greater event than even the martyrdom of first century Christians, because America, in the position of the Roman Empire, took the initiative to invite all free people to participate in the defense of Korea. It was as though the Roman Empire had invited 16 nations to come defend Israel 2,000 years ago.

Colonialism before World War I was a struggle for land.  After World War I, the nationalistic movements fought a war focused on human beings. For instance, the Germans and Japanese declared they were superior races.

One war remains and that is the war for God-to decide who will possess Him."

To win this war for God, you must be super-denominational, transcending national barriers and race. In this respect, the Unification Church has great dimension; we think of all races as one family, all nations as one nation of God and all religions as one under God.

The one to win this war for God will have to transcend national barriers, denominations, and race.  The church has great dimension embracing all races and nations as one family.  The Unification Church performs international and inter-racial marriages centered on the ideology of everyone is part of the human family.

All nations, races and religion are one under God.

On the other hand, you witness many battles between other religions that say that God is only with them and all others will perish.  This is the ultimate war where the Unification Church is on one side and all other religions are on another side.


Our battle in America is a religious one because all other religions have joined to try to discredit us in the past. But our goal is to awaken the conscience and righteousness of the people.



This is like a guerrilla warfare, where our brains and hard work are the weapons to convey the truth to the entire world.

God sent Jesus in order to save the world, but the people of his time had limited thinking.  They believed the Messiah came to just save them and their country from the tyranny of the Roman Empire.


We represent the absolute goodness of heaven and we have been oppressed by evil, but the heavenly power will keep pounding and turn evil around. 


We are at the turning point in history.  Just as God chose Christianity as the forefront of his spiritual war, he uses the Unification Church to turn evil toward goodness.  To reach this level, the Messiah had to go through to the bottom of human misery of the world and work from there.

God will not let history be controlled solely by people.  North Korea thought in the past that it could conquer South Korea easily, but it could not.  Communism, also tried to make America turn Korea into another Vietnam, but thankfully another greater power prevented this tragedy.

Now, we see a tug-o-war between those on the communist side and America, Korea, and Japan puling on the other side.  There needs to be a stronger champion that is pulling on the side of righteousness.

Communism has always had the goal of their godless ideology to dominate the whole world.  All of the communist nations are united on this one purpose.  On the other hand, all of the nation's on God's side are divided and are not certain which way to go.

God would not allow this situation to continue, so He has raised up a force in the free world that wins over communism.  When we take a look, it seems that the communist side is winning people and land everyday, but we are winning more on the spiritual side.

We are not alone, the entire spirit world is working and fighting on our side alongside with us.

Which has more, those in the spiritual world who have lived on earth and passed away or the people who reside on earth right now?

God watches this tug-o-war and will determine who is the winner.  Aren't you glad that we are on good speaking terms with the judge?  In order to win, God wants us to prove that we love mankind and show Him that this love is greater than that of the communists.

God gives us the mission to go to the very family units of the communists who are trying to destroy us and witness them to the truth.  Through this, we are making the home the building block of the Kingdom of Heaven.

Therefore, the communists know that their best targets: the church and the family order.  Through destroying these two foundations, they can conquer all of society and dominate it centered on Satan.

But God's side is the champion for both home and church in our witnessing structure.

Home church is your launching pad. If you are a powerful rocket, but you have a weak launching pad, you cannot take off. 

You should be grateful to receive persecution because it strengthens your foundation to launch millions of pounds.

Our world needs to quickly turn around 30 degrees, but what will be the axis?  Witnessing in the home church area.

God has the greatest sense of humor.  He uses the most persecuted to relay His timely message of salvation.  However, good news always begins within the boundaries of the enemy territory.  That is when World War II ended, when good news came from the enemy territory and Japan surrendered.

Once the critics from the government, media, and the established Christian churches say that they surrender that is when our territory can be guaranteed.


We have seen how important the external world is. In my entire life there has not been one truly good day when there was no torture, no plot or conspiracy against me, but I have overcome all the typhoons in my life and now the entire world has to recognize me as a giant spiritual power. 

I know you would agree that I could not do this all alone; was God or Satan assisting me? I fulfilled God's internal dispensation all by myself and the corresponding external dispensation has proceeded up through this recent battle with Congress. This is the time in which the internal and external victories must be united.


The church is like a multi-layered eruption.  Starting at the individual at the center, then the family, society, nation and so forth.  The inner two layers must unite in order for the next layer to erupt.  God's love is the igniting power.

When each layer is ignited by true love, it then ignites the next layer.

When the individual and family are united and ignited by love, they burst through the entire society. When the family and society are united and ignited in love, the entire nation can be ignited and reborn. Finally, the unity in love of all those levels, of all races and nations, can bring rebirth to the entire world.


I came to America because it is like a museum of the world, containing all races and all kinds of people. If it could be ignited by the love of God, then the impact would certainly reach throughout the world. Such a change of this world would be enough to change the entire spirit world.


When one moves closer to the central point, eventually they reach to the core.  God works through individuals who are absolutely united with Him.  These individuals suffer more and do more because they have to fulfill the highest possible position.

If the earth's axis moves, then the entire world will move. Real energy must be added there to make that happen.

Those who are summoned by God to work for His dispensation are asked to do more and show the greatest devotion.  This has always been true throughout history.  God's people have suffered the greatest sacrifices in history.

At the beginning of his ministry, Jesus had a showdown with Satan during his forty day fast in the wilderness.  Of course, Jesus was victorious over the three temptations, but this was just temporarily.  Original, the Jesus was intended to find a bride and start a family.

It would be there that Satan would plan to attack Jesus on the family level on the way to the tribal level.  Finally, Satan won on the national-level through the crucifixion which was not God's original plan.  Many Christians do not understand that Jesus' death was secondary.

Jesus was the only one who carried God's sinless seed, through holy marriage he would have sinless children.  Only when his people denied him as leader and God's son, and did not follow him did he have no other way to save us but through his shedding his pure blood.

Satan was able to destroy Jesus' body, but God was able to resurrect him spiritually.  This is how God works.

As a person of faith, are you taught to just enjoy life and have only the best of everything, or do you the hardest most difficult work?

The satanic side also has the goal of mobilizing and uniting people, but they do it at gunpoint.   They force people to sacrifice themselves and their families for their own selfish cause.  God on the other hand, wants His people to work voluntarily, by taking up the cup of sacrifice on their own.

Does someone have to force you to do your church work or mission?  Satan always tries to encourage us to run away, but if someone was to steal you away, you would just run back to this way of life?

Satan offers people of faith all sorts of bait to entice you through the love of your parents, your friends, children and loves.  We face this sort of temptation everyday.  This is why the Bible warns us that those who have the burden of families will suffer more in the Last Days.  This is because through the multiplication of family, Satan has more bait to offer to tempt them away from doing God's work.
