Plant Our True Heart in the Original Homeland

If we ask what is our main goal while walking this course of faith toward bringing the world back to God's original homeland, what would that be?

What is the main goal of all of us fighting this spiritual battle for God and humanity?


What are all people of faith looking for?  


It can't just be to have their own goal to reach heaven.  To find a place just where only we and our family can settle.

It should be broader than that.

The true goal of people of faith has been to fight to find the true family, which is opposite of the current trend of disunity and divorces within families.

An individual cannot come to rest within a broken family.

Moreover, without the larger unit of a tribe, then the family does not have a place to settle all the way up to the national and world level.

The highest level most of us can work toward is the family level.  But without the tribe which creates a stage upon which to act as a fence to block any offensive substances, the family can fall apart with the first blow. For this to be so, you must become the head of the family among your relatives. Once you are head of the family, then your relatives will fight in times of battle. Only then can you take a rest while commanding them. That is why I have told you to take up the mission as representatives of the messiah to your tribe.  Until now, in reality, you have lived away from home. Now, you must go look for your hometown. You must break into tears and put your whole heart into your hometown. Just as the Israelites lived in Egypt for four hundred years as slaves, this movement has done the same within the first forty years.  Now, we must return to our hometown and let love take root. You must love God, your parents, and your brothers and sisters. You must disconnect the source by which the worldwide Satan can falsely accuse you. Even after God worked to build a foundation through the Israelites, they failed to establish the ideal heavenly kingdom in the blessed land of Canaan because they could not remove that source. Therefore, do not expect anything from the satanic world. You must go forward, progressing by digesting the villages and marching proudly with an outcry of love. With this in mind, I want you to fight onward. I can give you the right of inheritance and the right of having the same position as I have because you have the name of being true children before True Parents. You must trust this privilege given by God and invest everything within the realm of love. With your total investment, your family will resurrect from the chains of satanic dominion.  The nation will resurrect with the revival of the family. In the hometown where your parents have been buried, you can plant new seeds that all the fields and mountains praise the value of all those who sacrificed and bow their heads to them. When flowers bloom from seeds, you must designate the first flower as God's flower, the second as the Parents' flower, the third as your eldest son's flower and the fourth and fifth as your own flowers. Can you you live this righteous life casually? Of course not! At this time, you are in the same position as the Israelites who have gone into the blessed land of Canaan. Do not be envious of those who are rich when you return to your hometown. Do not envy people with power and authority!  Do not be spoiled.  You must educate the people correctly. The tradition of loving God, loving your future generations and loving your race in the position of Israel is the best. Those who embrace your children and bring them to church should not be absorbed by the secular way of life. With joy of returning back to your hometown, you should soak the land with your blood, sweat of hard work and tears along with the cries of your cells and bones. The land should receive the title of divine land, which has been dampened with God's blood and tears. This is where the heavenly kingdom will unfold. You must restore your homeland and restore them.  The Israelites could not accomplish that. Having returned from being a group of beggars for forty years, the Israelites were envious of the seven tribes of Canaan who ate and lived very well while they lived in tents.  In this situation, they ended up selling off God and the nation to end their suffering and pitiful situations. To love people, you start with the pitiable person first, love the most pitiable child and move up to the middle-aged people. There are many conscientious people among the secular people.  We should love those who live in the most poorest living conditions. Even though they are in the devil's world, people who can inherit God's fate will emerge from their ranks. What should you do upon returning to your hometown? You must inspire the people to unite into one with you.  This method is rather simple. Your son should become a teacher who teaches the heavenly tradition and show by example what actions will bring about the heavenly nation. The mother and the father should show other mothers and fathers in the neighborhood what ways the heavenly nation will come. This is what we must do.  It is simple: You must form a family of love in which the husband loves the wife and the wife loves the husband.  The parents love the children and the children love the parents, and you hand it all down. I have walked such a path in order to stand in the position of the global ancestor. You should be aware of the fact that you must go on the path to inherit the tradition that corresponds to you, the tradition for you to become the tribal ancestor. You must set a tradition on which your tribe and family will follow.  Those who think only of themselves will not be included. You must plant your true heart in your homeland.  The Fall was the inability to lay a foundation of heart. You must be the head family of your tribe. God is the Abel of the universe.  The world's people are in the position of Cain before God. Since God has led the providence of restoration through servants of servants, adopted children and true children, we must then inherit that tradition and go to our tribe and present this tradition we have built as a foundation for the true way of life and work to win hearts in the secular world. This will not take long - three years at most. Our Task for This Time Period What does every person hope for? They want to welcome the returning Lord and his bride before establishing the global nation. This will begin from your new sons and daughters who are born connected to the true blood lineage of the Messiah's lineage. Therefore, the True Parents are the starting point of the new future. Let us testify about True Parents  How does everything end? The coming of the True Parents is the hope of all humankind throughout history because it is the conclusion of the evil sovereignty on earth. This time has never before existed and will not exist again. If we think in terms of the eternal world, our life on earth lasts only as long as the time it takes to draw in one breath.  What kind of people are the True Parents? They are the symbol of hope, the symbol of absolute hope for the fallen, suffering humankind.  They are the fruit of history, the center of time and nations of the world. True Parents are the starting point of the future that can connect to the ideal world we all hope for. Let us take into consideration the name of True Parents.  They are the starting point of a new world. We started the world based on the false parents Adam and Eve who did not follow God's law.  True Parents come to the earth to reverse the mistake of the first parents. Through them, the internal relationship is formed by which Satan can subjugate and God can be liberated from Satan who possess the external world. Therefore, you should be grateful first and foremost for living at this time in the presence of this amazing grace of being able to live together with the True Parents and live according to their direction. Everyone has the hope to meet True Parents, who are the ones for you to meet even when you walk the road of death. When you meet the Parents, you will restore your ancestor's fallen history, the age and the future which has been lost. This is the meaning of True Parents. When you are able to completely be one with the True Parents, the true nation, tribe, race, and family will come into being. True Parents are the manifestation of value that equal to the glory found in heaven and earth.  Would you exchange the True Parent for money? Would you exchange them for life? That is why it is different from before. No matter where you go, you must find your way to Korea to attend the True Parents. It is the same for your sons and daughters and descendants of thousands and tens of thousands of years. Therefore, this movement is different and unique. Q. What really are the true parents we speak about? Truly think for a moment. If the first ancestors of humankind had followed God's command and were never kicked out of the Garden of Eden what kind of people would Adam and Eve be? They would not have fallen, they would have been linked directly to God's true love, true blood lineage and way of life. Adam and Eve would have become perfected and would have been God's body.  That means they would have become the body of God.  God is like the bones and Adam and Eve are the flesh. God also has a mind and a body. God would have been the internal parents and Adam and Eve would have been the external parents. Based on the unity of God and humankind's love, the true parent, the perfected person was to emerge. There is no perfect person without the cooperation in love. Let us attend True Parents' picture in every family You become a family of the heavenly kingdom just by putting up True Parents' picture and the flag of the Unification Church. I mean that I will make you the family of the heavenly kingdom. That is why there are a number of people who suffered disasters, such as being struck by lightning after grumbling about having to put up flags. There was an incident in which someone broke his finger pointing at me and had to repent and pray for several nights to recover. Why do these incidents occur? The power of an individual cannot block the advancing heavenly fortune.  In the Unification Church, those of you bowing in honor to the True Parents photograph or the flag will live during these Last Days. In the Old Testament, everyone who gazed upon the staff which Moses held were saved. By putting up the UC flag, it signals to members who pass by that it is okay to enter your house, and rest if they are tired or have lunch. If they are hungry before they continue on their journey. You should always be prepared to receive guests.  You should make such preparations on behalf of True Parents. Since you cannot attend the True Parents daily in person, you should attend their picture. You should attend your guests as if they were True Parents.  This practicing connects equalization to the highest heavenly standard. This is why you should attend your guests as if they were God or True Parents. Such a person will surely receive blessings. I am very famous. Everyone acknowledges that I am a patriot living for the sake of the nation. Moreover, the whole world has honored my achievements. So if people come to say, "Since we have put True Parents' picture up, my wife and I cannot quarrel in front of it," and tell their children, "You should not do such things in front of Rev. Moon," what is wrong with that? Because you are revering it more than the photograph of your own parents, your ancestors will come and also revere True Parents as their ancestors. It will become an altar where ancestors can come and hold a service for the household. The way to receive heavenly blessing has been opened up due to this kind of attendance. Then, even after you have fallen asleep at three o'clock in the morning, your ancestors will chase out all of the evil spirits from around the home. Moses led the Israelites away from the Pharaoh of Egypt. At that time all of the firstborn of the Egyptians were smitten, while the Israelites avoided this calamity by smearing the blood of a lamb on the their doorposts. Thus, the spirit world is watching over you and will protect you. Then Moses guided them to Canaan by enacting great works and miracles. When the Israelites were about to leave the land of Egypt, they were able to avoid calamity of the smiting of the first born through smearing the blood of the lamb on doorposts. In the same way, carrying a picture with True Parents, will protect you.  Spirit world can recognize the picture even if it is in your pocket. Now my fame has gone beyond national borders. I have heard that many statesmen in various places have put my picture on the wall of their study and pay their respects to it. You probably have experienced that there is a mysterious side to my smile, like that of the Mona Lisa. I believe that most of you probably are experiencing hundreds of thousands of ways of viewing my mysterious features. At certain times, I appear to look like this and other times like that. This is because at different times the spirit world is cooperating with you in different ways. I think most of you experience this. Those in the spirit world all know me. So when they see this picture, would those in the spirit world like it or dislike it? Your ancestors can be connected with the picture as the medium. I want you to know that's how good it is. Let's do revival services for our tribes There should be a family revival service in the future based on your family.   Those services represent the entire tribe.  You should think that such a revival service represents not just the Korean tribe, but tribe members of Blessed Families here around the world.  You do not know what a blessing it is to hold a revival service representing the world centering on the tribal foundation, with Korea as its base.  Everything depends on how much you think for the sake of others and on your own efforts.

Can We Become 'Ideal'?

What does the ideal mean?  Is it possible for a man to become ideal?

Only God can be the subject to this explanation.  This means that God is central to the ideal.

God's goal is the creation of the ideal house of the universe.

The Divine Principle, which this blog is based upon, teaches that the Messiah will come to the family, which is the building block of the universe.

Your home began with your parents.  A husband and wife, plus children are there.  Is this all there is needed to have happiness in the home is having parents and brother and sister?

Happiness comes when you have harmony in relationships, when there is loving give and take.

A happy home is an environment that allows you to freely express yourself in love.

If something joyful happens to you, would you like to celebrate it by yourself or look for someone you can share it with?

You would look for a loved one to rejoice; a husband wants to rejoice with his wife, parents with their children and children with their parents.

Would the ideal home consist of siblings that fight with their parents?

Wouldn't it be more natural for them to want to be with their parents?  A wife and husband do not come together for just their own happiness, but solely for their children.

The relationships that are contained within the four-position foundation (husband, children, sibling, God) can cover the entire earth.  Children eventually become parents who have their own children, who in turn become  parents continuing this cycle.

Would the children think that it is bad that their parents call the town together to celebrate with them when they are happy?

Would children want their parents to only share their happiness with the children instead?

Father's children could understandably complain in their hearts that their parents spend too much time with the church members instead of having fellowship with the children.

If children have this selfish thinking can they be called good children?  Father's children would not complain because they understand that they labor to pour out their love for the sake of the world.  For that reason, they appreciate their parents.

What is happiness within children whose parents work hard for the members of their church and for a public purpose?  They have happiness because they know eventually that love will come to them.  The ones who receive that devoted parent's love will pour their love to the children.

If those parents instead spent time with their children instead of the the members, then the members would be justified in their complaints that Father only loves his own family.

Those parents aren't neglecting their children, of course they love them, but more than their own children, they love society, nation and the world. Eventually that love will come back to our children.  This principle is true and will not change with time, nor will its value diminish.

When you love the universe more than your own family, you are entitled to receive more and ultimately it will benefit your own children. 

Ideal parents will expand their love universally.

If the parents bring a great benefit and love to Russia, when their parents visit there, they will be well received with love and respect.  If the parents love the world, then wherever their children go, they will be welcomed.

When people receive a lot, they want to reciprocate.  When parents see that their parents are loving the world and working hard to spread that love, the children should not feel neglected.  They should be able to understand this realization and see it as their hope.

What if a wife only wanted her husband to pay attention to only her, or a husband wants his wife to ignore other families and pay attention only to him?  Such a person deserves hell.

Many American women are this way.  They even look for a man who does not have a family ties so he will pay attention only to her as the wife.  A husband or wife usually become jealous when the spouse pays too much attention to the family, resenting the love that person gives to someone else.

If the world is filled with such husbands and wives, would this be a hellish or heavenly place?

Women should realize that the ideal husband is he who loves his wife, but loves his parents, brothers and sisters and neighbors as much as he does her.

That kind of husband is not wasting time with others, but inviting their love for his wife.  It is only natural that the love he shares with them will come back to her.  A daughter-in-law can become the central figure to the husband's family because of the love she gives.

She can become a queen of love in that house.  Any home that violates that principle is judged and shall decline.  Is this true or false?

Some women who are humble and live this principle may not be as pretty, but are ideal because they have this concept of ideal womanhood, ideal family and ideal love.

What kind of husband would you want?

The kind that does not have a family or the one who has nagging parents and grandparents and even great grandparents?  The husband with the big family will be the most exciting place to go.  There you have more objects to love and fellowship with.  By having this foundation, you can receive more love.

This principle is very simple, but American women are blind to it.  Once they are awakened to this way of life, however, a revolution will occur in American homes.

Now, you have the tools to become an ideal husband or wife.

What if your husband disappeared on the night of your honeymoon?  Then you find him in fellowship with his father-in-law, and the next night with his mother-in-law.  If you were unable to see your husband the whole honeymoon, would you complain when you see him loving your parents instead?

7 Days of Holy Sex - Day 2 -Sex in Marriage

Sexual relations are so bound up with the conjugal relationship that until recent centuries it was the defining and irrevocable act of marriage itself. 

What had begun as a promise between the partners and the families involved was now “consummated”—made complete.

It was believed that a physical union was the exchange and bonding of blood.  So those who engaged in sexual relations before marriage were forced to wed in order to normalize what had occurred.

This way may sound archaic to such a 'free' society of America, but it was more close with human realities than this contemporary lifestyle of recreational sex.  Conjugal love is unique in that it is shared with only one partner and genital sexual relations, a physical bonding, shared with only one mate.

Within the context of the unselfishness, commitment and faithfulness of marriage, sex crowns the relationship with its own special glory. 

Since sex encompasses the partners in their totality, it is the very language and embodiment of commitment between two people who have pledged to join their lives and create a new family.

“Marriage is not just for the control of sex,” writes Smedes, “it is for the liberation and fulfillment of sex.”
Sex encompasses the partners in their totality and is the language of commitment between to people who have pledged to join their lives and create a new family.  This is why a sexual relationship was meant to have its greatest fulfillment in married love.


Just as the restrictions of the Japanese haiku form yield poetry of striking beauty and depth, so sexual love likewise reaches its zenith of power and beauty within and indeed because of the structure and boundaries of marriage. Let us explore in more detail eight aspects of the special role of sexual union in marriage.

"Strengthens the Bond and Sense of Exclusivity Sex intermingles hearts and minds in a powerful bond. It is both the manifestation and the reinforcement of the couple’s covenant with one another. Physical union fortifies the unique oneness of the spouses’ lives in all the other aspects—emotionally, financially, as parents and in destiny.

When daily life pulls the attention and energy towards children and other people in the home and community, sexual relations can reaffirm the central place the partner occupies in each spouse’s life.  Physical intimacy calms and reassures in a way that complements verbal expressions of caring and gestures of thoughtfulness.

Because it is an exclusive experience, a secret shared between spouses, it fosters a potent sense of intimacy and emotional security. Sexual relations create a deep seated, non-rational attachment that grounds the marital commitment.

Even at times when there may be little else in common during the shifting seasons of marriage, sex can be a reassuring point of connection until emotional closeness can be reestablished.



2. Helps Mend Rifts and Revitalize the Relationship

Sex is uniquely relaxing. The intoxicating feeling of togetherness and physical release, the all-absorbing sense of time standing still and being at the center of the universe provides a welcome relief from the stresses of daily life and the sadness of inevitable losses.

Genesis speaks of Rebecca consoling Isaac after his mother’s death by making love in the same way that the Book of Samuel tells of King David comforting Bathsheba after their child’s death.  Further, the nonverbal physical communion of sex can help defuse heated arguments and petty divisive issues by reminding the couple of their essential commitment and mutual need.

The playfulness of physical intimacy dispels the sense of threat that results from discord and nourishes the sense of friendship. Especially in the beginning of marriage when the spouses are learning to accommodate one another and many conflicts are arising, the excitement of exploring sex together can be a grounding experience that carries the couple through hard times.


3. Substantiates Love for Perpetuity 

Through sexual union, the love that otherwise would remain largely an emotional and spiritual bond between the husband and wife can be made substantial in two senses of the word. On one hand, there is the simple bodily oneness.

On the other hand, there is the more important manifestation: through bearing children and perpetuating lineage. Sexuality is the means of participation in the circle of life, the great ongoing creativity and generativity of the universe and the legacy of one generation to another.

Lineage is the aspect of sexuality that allows love to endure for more than one generation, notes Reverend Moon, and to have its imprint on eternity. From the viewpoint of a spiritual afterlife, the interdependence of mind and body means that conjugal love is anchored and rendered more complete through physical\ substantiation into lineage.

Speaking from a physical standpoint, posterity represents material immortality.  As this instrument of lineage, sex represents the hope of ancestors for their love and life to have continuing presence on the earth.

If a spouse’s body represents the culmination of all his or her ancestors’ bodies, and the reproductive organs represent the culmination of that individual’s material and spiritual existence, then conjugal union is the means by which entire ancestral lines meet and mix in a fundamental way. It is here where hope finds its most potent focus.

Through the mystery and miracle of love transmuting into new life, every generation looks to its newborns to represent a fresh beginning for the world, and hopes that somehow the distilled nobility of countless ancestors and the grace of God—might bring forth one or myriad saviors. Thus, sexual relations always hold this lineal significance and promise.

Symbolizes the Expansiveness and Fruitfulness of Love  This same possibility of creating a new life—and perhaps many such lives—means that sexual intercourse represents the public quality of marital love that extends beyond the spouses themselves.

Parents celebrate each child as a blessing and opportunity to demonstrate the fruitfulness of their love. In a similar way, a couple’s sexual embrace symbolizes this basic receptivity to be used by providence to nurture the potential for goodness in the world and leave a productive legacy.

This is not to mention the simple fact that sexual bonding is the very real underpinning of society and the nation, since this coupling is the very substance of marriage, and thus is the foundation of the family and the sustenance of the next generation.


5. Represents Harmonizing of Opposites 

The act of sex is the most obvious way that man and woman combine their complementary powers. Plus and minus energies come together in explosive joy, like lightning and thunder that seizes the spouses and ripples through them. In Earnest Hemingway’s For Whom the Bell Tolls, the lovers say that they feel the earth move when they make love.

Certainly the heart is moved; couples are left as refreshed and revitalized as the earth after a summer storm. The union of opposites is also potently conveyed in the fruit of sex—the offspring. Nothing so dramatizes that two genders have become one as seeing the parents’ faces blended into that of the son or daughter.

Moreover, sexual union is the object lesson in how to adapt to and support the opposite sex spouse in daily life. Intercourse is experienced so differently by men and women that it requires both genders to act contrary to their natural inclinations in order to accommodate one another.

For example, the husband must learn to resist his urgent and focused arousal to wait until his wife is aroused.

He has to learn to expand his focus beyond the genital act. The wife must learn to respond even when emotional connection is limited or other conditions are less than ideal. Both sexes have to give up the notion that the other is like themselves or should be.

A satisfying sexual relationship means they have to learn to understand each other’s differences, appreciate the value of these differences and see from the other’s perspective.


6. Encapsulates the Moral Work of Marriage

The deeply vulnerable, intimate and personal quality of sexual union brings out all the complexities of learning to love and be loved by one another. Practicing true love in marriage has many mundane manifestations, but sex is a special way.

In the words of Grenz:

[The] most expressive symbol of the willingness to give of self freely and totally for the sake of the pleasure and wellbeing of the spouse, is the sex act. In this act a person gives fully and unashamedly and becomes fully vulnerable and open to the other.

There must be humility and self-forgetfulness to learn how to satisfy the mate, yet there must be self-awareness and assertiveness to express one’s desires. Tensions within the larger relationship must be brought out regularly and resolved or they interfere with erotic feelings.

Communication must be frank yet sensitive. Differing needs and desires must be negotiated. Shifting moods, health and aging factors and the many seasons of the relationship itself must be taken into account, as do the changing duties of parenthood, work, caregiving and so on.

Accommodating each other in lovemaking in all these ways over the years teaches countless lessons and develops character in one another. In this way, sexual relations encapsulate all the moral demands and rewards of the spouse’s realm of heart.

Represents Mutual Submission to a Higher Purpose Sexual intercourse is a physical and spiritual experience beyond one’s control. Neither the husband nor the wife can fully manage either the sensations or the outcome.

In this sense, both partners ultimately surrender to being used by forces greater than themselves, to fortify love, to create life, to perpetuate lineage. This is a metaphor for the Biblical exhortation that partners “Submit to on  another out of reverence for Christ” (Ephesians 5.21).

Further, it represents a certain vulnerability and naturalness with one another, like children before their parents, since both lay aside all facades in the moment of sexual climax. Perhaps this is a sense of the Biblical meaning of to “know” one another through making love.


8. Invites God to Participate in the Marriage

Sexual relations hold a special allure to the Creator, as described above, for its unique potential to symbolize so much of His nature at once. The coming together of spirit and flesh, male and female, joy and fecundity magnetizes Him to the marriage bed.

God enjoys the love and lovemaking between husband and wife so much that according to the Talmud, when God instructed the Hebrew people to build the temple, He specifically asked for the brass basin for the priests to be made from the metal mirrors that wives used when they groomed themselves for their husbands, because such humble objects that promote intimacy between husband and wife were most precious to Him.

Thus, sexual union invites God to participate in the marriage." SMM

We Come From One Root

"The root of the individual, the root of the family, the root of the clan, and the root of the nation are all the same. What this means is that if you look from the world's viewpoint, and you trace the root up or down, we all come back to the same root." 

This is true for the nation, the clan, the family, and even the individual. 


All countries eventually can trace back to one root.  The root is all the same.  Through this one root, all families, nations and even the world must be connected.  Since there is only one root for all, then we have only one trunk and a unity of branches.  There aren't different trunks or different roots.

When we accomplish this connection and unity in deed, the world will come into unity. 

If we were to ask people of different nations where their root lies, they would give many different answers.  Their answers may only be local.  For example, if you ask an American this question, they would say, "My root is Washington".  This does not apply to the whole world.

Does God think that the root of mankind is Washington?

Japanese people would say they trace their root to the goddess Amaterasu Omino Kami.    But now we know that everyone can be traced to the same root.

There is only one root, but humanity has not been able to see the root of it all.  Since no one can identify the true root, the Messiah returns to identify where the false root of division began.  Also to reveal what we think our roots are and then present the true root.



The Root is True Love

What is the completion of the ideal of creation?

The Messiah clearly defines God's will in simple terms.  God's will is to accomplish the ideal of creation.  Period.  Simple isn't it?  God is an absolute God.

Since He is absolute, does he have two different ideas or just one?  Absolutely one ideal.  Even if peace seems impossible to humanity, God has never wavered away from His dream of accomplishing Heaven on Earth.  This is the logical conclusion.

When we complete the four-position foundation (parents' love, siblings' love, childrens' love, each centered on God's love) then the completion of the ideal of true love is accomplished.  Everything important is there.



Creating True Love

The amazing fact is that the Family Federation has achieved these.

All of the thinking, teaching and action of the Unification Church is founded on these consistent lines: True Love, the four-position foundation and the ideal of creation.

The ideal of creation is to create the four-position foundation(sibling, parent, conjugal and God's love).  Then we must understand deeply the descriptions of all relationships of creation and the importance of the main ideas.

Even though it begins from a concept, it is reality. If you open up your spiritual eyes, you can go ask a big tree, "What is your purpose in life?

To accomplish this idea, first, we perfect heaven on earth and through this, heaven in spirit world will automatically appear.  Currently, there is only Paradise in which Jesus spoke.

We cannot enter heaven alone without our family.

As we discussed before, what wife would enjoy heaven while her husband spent eternity in hell?  When we catch a hold of God's True Love, then wherever we go and what we do will be connected to God.  This is reality and not just a concept.

What about a big rock, and belongs to the mineral kingdom? If you were to ask why does it exist, it  would answer you, "I exist for the sake of love."

Why did you come into existence or why do you breathe?

You exist for the sake of love.  Even a large rock that belongs to the mineral kingdom and doesn't seem to have much value would answer and say, "I exist for the sake of love".  Even the atomic kingdom, electrons and neutrons would answer the same way.  There is no way to deny it.  This is the reason all things were created in pairs: it is for love.

Love is the Beginning

Because of True Love and starting from True Love, the whole world came into being.  True love was the beginning of the concept of the universe.

We can even extend this and say that God came into existence for the purpose of love.  If love did not come into existence, then God, too wouldn't have a reason to exist.  Before thinking of the universe, we can think of True Love.

Before we can understand the deep meaning of True Love, we can see the concept of the male and female or the subject and object concept conveyed in all of creation, even at the subatomic level.  Everything in existence has that dual characteristic.  Take time to think of one exception, but you will find none.

Scientists maintain that the universe is held together by a force or a power, but they stop there.  They do not bring into account the logical steps that force only comes about because there was first an action that brought it about.

Without action, there is no force.

Which is first:  force takes place because of action or action takes place because of force?

Which one is first?


Reverend Sun Myung Moon gives an example to answer this question:

"When a man grows up, real love power does not act upon him. He has no involvement in love action. He grows up by the energy of man. With that he grows, but love is yet to come. His mind and body have to take action and then he grows, becoming older and older.

When he meets his spouse, a tremendous power takes place. Before that, there is action, but even before the action something else must exist first. That is subject and object relationship. In a man, he gets power when his mind and body come into unity.

He has two eyes instead of one, and two nostrils; everything comes in two. We see that subject and object relationship is everywhere and it exists for the sake of love.

We see development in this order: love between subject and object, then love action gives rise to the force. That is the order."SMM



Love Creates Joy

As soon as a husband and wife who exhibit True Love and their eyes meet, they are attracted to one another and nothing can stop them.  When all of the five senses meet each other, nothing will stop them.  Embodied with this love power, the couple can go through fire, water, anywhere.  That is the power of True Love.

This cannot be exchanged or converted into any value of money.  Even if the woman has millions and billions of dollars and is the wealthiest woman on earth, once she is captured in love then all things don't matter anymore.  God will be filled with joy and laughter at the sight of such a scene.  This is how we feel, too.

God invests His whole being and forgets, then He invests again and forgets all too willingly and happily because of love.  Without this kind of heart of not looking to receive, He would not be able to continue to do so.

For the man of love, the more he adds to this pool of love, the happier he becomes until later he can fly.  He will cruise the universe like the world of stars.  If you embrace a star while enraptured in love, it will start to dance and God will dance, also.  This is the power of love.



Do we Value Love?

How much do we value this love of God?

Imagine a kid that is in grammar school -  a boy or girl who receives a large chunk of a diamond but they do not know that it is a diamond or know its worth.  How will they treat this diamond?  This is the problem we see in the world situation today.

On the other hand, one who works hard and experiences the pain of dying to obtain this object, then you readily learn and understand the value of that diamond.  The only way that we can understand this is through suffering and sacrifice.  Nobody likes this, just as no student likes the act of studying to get the top grades.



Love Creates Peace

Love has the power to purchase, sell or unite a nation.  It is that powerful.  You have heard of the political marriages they used to perform centuries ago.  Two countries united in exchanged marriages between royalty of either country.  King Edward forsook the throne for a marriage to Wallace Simpson.

People get excited and laugh at the jokes and commentary of entertainers whenever they speak about the topic of love.  Other topics do not capture laughter from the bottom of the audiences hearts as much as the topic of love.

"No other church ever talks about love so much as the topic of this sermon."

It becomes a very legitimate statement that anyone or any minister whose sermon centers on love and makes everybody elated, happy and laughing, would become the source of peace and happiness.

When a teaching focuses it center on love, it can be the source of peace.  Peace will come from that.  Politicians, philosophers, economists and people from all different walks of life would come together for the topic of love because it is the root of their lives.



'Love Me' is False Love

We hear all talks about love and different kinds of love, but have we heard about love for the sake of other people?

People say, "Love me.".  This kind of person wants to draw love from other people.  There are even books and advice columns on how to attract love from others.  This is not the kind of love we have been talking about.

We are only talking about how to give love, that is what makes it different.

All these divided things now move toward being united because of this teaching and the knowledge of how to love for the sake of others.

From True Love, new hope, a new idea, and a new starting point have appeared.

Love was destroyed and divided.  The history of humankind has turned into a history of self-centered love away from God's original ideal.  How can we realize a peaceful world when all the broken situations are surrounding us.  We can only go this path through True Love that has the power to mend the past.

God's viewpoint of True Love is that the root comes from True Parents (restored fallen parents Adam and Eve).  Now that we have entered the age of True Parents or Enlightenment, brothers and sisters are being taught a new kind of love in which we live for the sake of others.




Free Sex and Drugs

Man needs to constantly be satisfied.

He has a spiritual antenna that communicates with the high level of the spirit world.  Man cannot live without the love, emotion and enlightenment that this antenna picks up.

Now all communication has been cut off from the spirit world and man does not know where to get that fulfillment.  So, what do they do instead?

They do drugs, drink alcohol and indulge in risky behavior to maintain an equivalent high to excite the body.

We as the human race have lost our emotional attachment to True Love on the vertical plane(spiritual) and can only find it through the horizontal way(physical) to compensate for this lack of communication with spirit.  Every family and nation have been touched by this tragedy.

It is called free sex.  Teens and even adults find out too late that when they indulge in sex without any connection to God and outside of a God-defined marriage that it never fully satisfies them as they had expected.

Sometimes leaving a bigger hole in which they were trying to fill in the beginning.  Then they turn to drugs to try to forget about this pain.  But everyone knows that the drug world is also a bottomless pit that will never fulfill our human desire for God's love.
         



The Universe Protects Love

What Father is pointing out is that everything that comes into power, everything that is subject and object in the pair system, is protected by the universe.

If there is an imbalance, the universe eliminates it.

Man and woman are a pair.  They become a pair at the universal level embracing point.  The nation's center it the president or the king as a plus and the people are a minus.

They combine into one and then they attend the world which is the next level up.  Then as a whole, they embrace the larger heavenly fate or destiny.

Americans should change their direction from the individualistic way toward this true standard way of living.  If the presidential administration and the American people do not change, the heavenly fate will chase them out.  No matter how rich or how strong America is, they will immediately break down.
Don't we see that this is already the case?



Individualism is Hell


Individualism has made a great nation of America into a small one that is full of bickering and complaints.  It can be compared to the nation's symbol of the great eagle.  It was created to spread its wings and explore the great plains around cliffs to capture its food supply.

But if you were to catch the eagle and just give him the bare minimum of rations so it could live, how great would the eagle be?

This is what individualism, living for oneself, has done to a once prosperous nation.  Are people exploding with happiness here in  America or unhappy?  They are miserable.  They are living like in the dungeons of hell even with such prosperity surrounding them in their daily lives.

On the other hand, how happy would an eagle be that had once been captured and now is finally released from its cage and is liberated?



True Love is Eternal

No matter how old the earth becomes, the principles of True Love continues.  The direction and action of True Love will remain the same throughout history and into the future.  Even before creation, this concept of True Love existed.

After Adam and Eve were created and after the fallen world came into being, the same concept of absolute pure love was the center of hope for all of the surrounding things to be taken away and cleaned up.


Then they can be connected to the new world.



The Church Restores True Love


Why was the Family Federation formerly known as the Unification Church founded?  It was so all that was lost through the actions of the first human parents can be restored and to bring liberation to God when the ideal is completed.

This is the church's mainstream thought.  In order for restoration to take place, all ideals should be realized centering on True Love.

Should people reject or welcome such a movement?  This is God's ideal and the tool which He brought the Messiah as the Second Advent.  It is to make the four-position foundation of the family centered on God with True Love as the core.

That is the purpose of the Unification Movement.
