Jesus Forgave Without Shedding His Blood

We hear often about the blood Christ without truly understanding the significance.  On day of Communion, many people of faith take in the drink of wine and bread as Jesus did with his disciples at the final supper to indicate the drinking of his blood and bread.  How much of a controversy this would have caused to many believers then.

What is the importance of Jesus' blood and why is it so misunderstood by many?

Many Christians place salvation exclusively from the blood of Jesus. This is a mistake in the sight of God.

Even before Jesus shed his blood, he already forgave others for their sins and transgressions.

Therefore, it was not necessary for Jesus to die shedding his blood to bring about salvation - it was an alternative route from God's original plan.

The Bible records the account of the prostitute who was about to be stoned.  Jesus told anyone who felt they were without sin to throw the stone at her.  In everyone's hearts, they knew they could not condemn her and they drifted away in shame.  Then Jesus spoke to the woman who was accused and told her that no one condemned her and he would not condemn her either and not to sin no more.

What does this mean scripture truly mean? By his own words Jesus offered forgiveness.

Therefore, to bring about salvation to the earth, it was not necessary for Jesus to die before completing his mission.  Jesus didn't give anyone a raincheck to come back for his forgiveness after his death.

 

 

Jesus could open the way to salvation to everyone by the Word of God.

 

God's plan of salvation does not require bloodshed by necessity.

Q. What does salvation mean?

Salvation means that living men, women and families on earth will enjoy the garden of Eden as God had intended from the beginning.

We need to realize the love that Jesus brought to this earth - not the alienation, bloodshed and his death.  His love and forgiveness should be told more often than his end.

Death came when human beings departed from God when they misused the love of God.

After the first parents fell away from God, human physical bodies remained alive.  Resurrection means to accept the word of God and to become the possessor of God's love.

What if Jesus was to appear on earth for the first time right now or on television?

Would you like to have spiritual salvation only through him being murdered and shedding his blood or would you want to have Jesus bringing about salvation with his should and body raising an exemplary Godly family to which to follow?

 

You have to reach the point where you are one with Jesus in flesh and blood.

That's why he set up the condition of the sacrament: Christians must feel they are actually eating Jesus' flesh and blood.

They should actually feel Jesus' life and love more than just eating a piece of bread.  Then they should also feel they are drinking his blood.

Salvation will not come about until that moment. 

This was Jesus' method to bring humankind out of Satan's world into God's uniting the believer through this real sense experience.

This means that Satan is cut off and humanity is engrafted to Jesus and we can feel this oneness.

There is a further vision for Christianity: people go through total salvation on the spiritual AND physical level.  What does this mean?  Jesus' body was attacked and lost by Satan, but he must return again to bring about salvation of our physical body leaving it un-attacked by Satan.  In other words, Satan attacks our body through diseases, mental illnesses and accidents. 

This is the prophecy which will be fulfilled at the time of the Lord of the Second Advent.

If this is hard to grasp, please ask seriously in your prayers guidance on these matters. Ask either Jesus Christ or God himself.

If Jesus had lived and fulfilled his primary mission of bringing the Kingdom of God on earth, Christianity would never have been what it is today.

The purpose of Jesus' coming was for the salvation of the world. The chosen people were to be God's instruments. However, salvation was not intended only for God's chosen people.

For every soul upon the face of the earth, Jesus is the savior.

He is the savior of all humankind.

Should the Messiah come to the Christian world alone, or to the whole world? What God, together with the Christians, must do is cover the whole world both on the spiritual and physical levels.

Jesus and the Spirit World

Despite the fact that people of faith adapted that we call God our Father, even the most devoted Christian can only become God's adopted son, not a true son.

Which saint, famous religious leader or person of faith can nobly say that they are God's true son and are one in heart with him? No one.

Therefore, we are in the same position as Cain.  If a child does not have the same blood lineage, they will remain in the archangel's position who stole the children of God.

Therefore, there has been a struggle until now throughout providential history to link humanity's lineage to God's sinless lineage to reverse this mistake.

This might be new information in these last days, but it is part of the revelations Jesus knew in his time, but could not relay the information because his disciples "could not understand earthly things, how can you know of heavenly things?"

Jesus died while bearing the cross to complete the mission of John the Baptist who was born to witness to Jesus, link his foundation and follow him to the end.

Therefore, based on John the Baptist's foundation, it would have been easy for the people to believe that Jesus was the son of God because they revered John.

Jesus was not able to complete his mission and must return to complete his messiahship beginning on the family level.  He has been going the way of the son restoring the way of the archangel who fell by going first going the way of the servant, and that of God's adopted child.

Jesus was able to offer his spirit, which was not attacked by Satan, but this left his mission incomplete.

He returns on his foundation to bring his true family carrying God's blood lineage on earth and bring total salvation, hence our physical bodies, not just our  bodies will be resurrected.

This means that once you are engrafted to the Messiah's true lineage, Your body and spirit both will no longer be attached to Satan.

This will bring about  a true world of peace here Satan can no longer be able to have dominion.

Now, people of faith can only go to paradise and receive only spiritual salvation.

Paradise and Heaven are two different places in spirit world.

Physical salvation means that Satan cannot attack your body anymore, no more sickness, accidents, diseases and so forth will come to a family carrying God's true blood lineage.

In order for this to happen, this victorious realm must be fought for and established on earth.  This was the reason for Christianity to come into existence.

The Returned Messiah will have the authority to subjugate the angelic realm in the spirit world, or else he would not be able to begin his mission on earth.  He inherited the spiritual realms where Jesus attained victory.

Jesus descended to hell for three days after he died as a test.

Death holds the greatest dread for humankind, but going to hell held the greatest dread for Jesus. 

Did Jesus become the master of dread or happiness in hell?

Jesus had to overcome the suffering there -  the lowest of human misery.  God is fair, so the Messiah has to come to humankind with an ideology which is of equality.  The Messiah is the savior who comes to save every last person of fallen humankind.

God creates a fair environment for the age.  Whoever unites with him is his disciple.

The Messiah begins his mission in the bottom of hell and ascend to the top of the most glorious placee in the world.

Because Jesus has victory in that lower realm, this means that there is no corner in the world of spirit world where he would not go, even if it is the risk of his life in order to save humankind.

When we know this viewpoint, is it still logical to say that the Messiah will appear on the clouds from the sky at some undetermined time?

Everyone will know once they enter the spirit world if this is true or not.  Why do people in the spirit world keep making effort to contact those on earth?

Without resolving the issues on earth, the path to perfection cannot be attained. 

This same rule applies to every person whether they are rich or poor, religious or atheist.

We have to establish corresponding to the spirit world through relationships on earth in order to open the gates and breakdown the walls in the spirit world alongside the Messiah.

The Messiah begins by establishing these victories through the level of individual, family, tribe, nation and world.  These victories on each level is then connected to the spirit world.

These victorious foundations must be established while we are on earth.  We will not be able to walk the path of restoration after we have passed on without the aid of people on the earth which can take thousands of years.

While the Messiah walks this path, he must restore the individual, family, tribe, people, nation and world in the correct order.  This is why people continue to seek and move forward toward one goal and one world now.

The Returning Lord and the Spirit World

The returned Messiah comes as the ancestor of the first and second Israel.

To find the center of all of this, the Messiah had to go the hard way through hardships and suffering in order to go this way.

The returning Lord must proclaim the ideology of unification and organize his 12 tribes, due to Christianity which lost the center and could not bring God's will of world peace to the earth.

Since God does not have a body, God must acquire a body of a perfected human.

In this way the incorporeal and the corporeal become one.  This symbolizes the universe becoming one.

God created Adam and Eve for this purpose: so He could assume a body through them and this is only possible through love.

There must be love in order for God to have a body which resembles His image.

When Adam and Eve were to become God's outer form through their body, He dwells in their minds and is able to rule the physical and incorporeal worlds through them.

This is when His kingdom is created.  It is a kingdom of love.

The spirit and body unite only through love.

It is not able to unite based on anything else.

God is God for a Reason

Once you possess the true love of God, you will be the focus of the world wherever you go. I am intently pushing you out so that you can quickly become the focus of the world.

Through this work of restoring the world back to God's original ideal of heaven on earth, you will come to experience how much God has suffered in restoring mankind.

We must understand how much more difficulty God has experienced on this path than any man in history.

If it was up to you and you had the power of the Almighty God, you would have used your power to crush this evil world a long time ago.

We know we should be patient, no matter how long restoration takes.

Our weapon and tool is education.  So, instead of destroying people, we will raise them up through teaching them God's divine plan in the Principle.


God saw and heard much wickedness over these thousands of years, yet He has been patient. By the same token, you have to be able to endure the criticism of the world. We must win the love of God; only that one thing matters.

God has been the king of patience in history and so we must be princes and princesses of endurance. 

You must have infinite patience and endurance if you want to gain true love.

Just looking in history, we can feel the pain of God as He worked to bring humanity back from their fallen position.  God gave His only son who carried His blood lineage and yet the world killed him.

Still, God was patient in that time.

Father has received overwhelming criticism as he brought the truth of the Completed Testament, but he does not want to remember any of it.  Within thirty minutes, he wants to forget any accusation that comes to him.

God has endured even more heartbreaking situations and disappointments over the thousands of years of human history, but he has forgotten the evil things and remembers the good news only.

Even though walking this path of restoration is treacherous, we should always be thankful to God for the opportunity to participate in His hardship.  We get to learn His endurance He had watching humanity after the fall with hope of recovering His children back.

Just with His power alone, we can understand God and be like Him.

How much has God trusted people?

Throughout the biblical times, God placed His trust in men to fulfill their missions.  Even though many saints have failed God and were untrustworthy, God still trusted.

Without trust, there is no way God could continue the work of restoration.

How could man continue to try if God did not trust him?

Then we should learn from God this attribute.  We must learn how to trust other people even though they may fail us a thousand times.

Hasn't God done the same for you and me who are just as unreliable?  Even though they may still lie to you, trust them, even though they may cause you pain, still trust them.

We should thank God that we can participate in this dispensation with Him in trusting us unconditionally, even though we have been untrustworthy.  When we come across a difficult person, we should be thankful for the opportunity to practice His trust.

God wants so much to love man that He gives everything unconditionally.

When God sees a person who practices this way of life of trusting while living in hard circumstances, He would want to give that person mercy.  Then, you win God's heart and He will shower His mercy and grace onto you.

When you witness to your area, you will be persecuted many times.  There will be a record of your persecutions you faced, but God will comfort you and be right there with you.

Persecution is a necessary ingredient.

After you receive a lot of persecution, you may return to the church center feeling down and depressed.  Instead, you should feel jubilant and honored for what the people have given you in that day.

While you endure hostility, you are becoming a universal person.  You will be able to go to any hot, cold, high and low places and be welcomed there.  In this way you become a central point.

In home church you are persecuted many times.

Your roster will be your record of persecution, but God will comfort you and be right there with you. Persecution is a necessary ingredient. In many cases when your people are rude and curse you, you come back to the center feeling depressed. But instead you should be jubilant over what they have given you that day.


When I leave New York to go abroad, you feel America is empty because the focus of love is temporarily away. I am always trying to be the focus of your love and I always focus my love upon you. This is why I am generous with you and forgive you all the time, giving you another chance and trusting you.



The twelve months comprises of one circle of seasons.

There is always balance there, with six months up and six months down, six months left and six months right. One spot is hot and the other is cold.  Each season reaches a peak before it changes.  You shouldn't desire only spring, or only hot weather.

Of course, most people do not like winter, but you still have to live through that season whether you dislike it.

Judas Iscariot and at least three disciples helped him to betray Jesus; this betrayal is the equivalent to the three months of winter.  In order to welcome spring,  you must pass through winter.  Winter is an essential time because nothing can be prepared fir the spring without it.

When water freezes it expands and through that process the hard shell of a seed bursts and is ready for spring.

God is truly a great scientist. 

When you see isolated pictures of the creation, you don't understand the greatness of the whole picture.  But by seeing the whole picture, you see the wisdom and necessity of a season like winter.

The church is completing its winter and is welcoming spring.

Then, we will bring in the blossoms in the summer and bring the harvest in autumn.  When these seeds are harvested, we enter winter again and get ready to be tested as the cold will beat fiercely on us again.  But the life in the seed will remain intact, waiting for the spring and summer to come along.

This is how new life will come.

You are persecuted and ill-treated but the life within you has been activated, hasn't it?

After a long winter, aren't you ready to come out in spring?  Americans think that their nation will always prosper, but this is not so.  We are building up the power to survive winter as the others enjoy spring, summer and autumn.

The Unification Church is full of hope for world peace.

We must be hardened and tested in order to become a great movement.

This way, we will be strong and able to prosper anywhere in the world.  In order to stay healthy, you must be able to live in and enjoy all of the seasons.

You should also be able to serve all four different categories of people:  spring, summer autumn and winter.

You need all four kinds of people, just as you need all four seasons.

This is why Jesus selected twelve disciples which were all very different.  Jesus was able to focus his love among each person and they were able to become one united group.  You as well should be able to focus on and serve 12 different people in harmony.

In one day, we can experience four seasons: morning is like spring, daytime is like summer, evening is like autumn and night time is like winter.  In order to make a full circle, you should move both up and down.

You cannot just go one way.

We should have the ability to know both up and down position.  God does both.  Satan only knows how to go up, but he ultimately falls all the way down.

When you go through suffering, do not think that this is the end or that you will be destroyed.  As much have you have fallen down, you can come up again that much higher.  This is the method God teaches us.

Working together with those in spirit world, we will focus on the eternal love of God.  In this movement, we possess the true love of God, therefore, we have a tremendous capacity.  We are able to focus ourselves no matter where we are because of this love.

Those who see us in this movement as doing wrong will change their focus when they see we are headed in the right direction.

If you totally serve and sacrifice for others, you will become a central figure wherever you go. 

By living this way, when you reach the spirit world, you will be elevated as the central figure in heaven.  Your eyes should search for the place where people are in misery.

Your thinking should point toward a way to liberate people out of hell. Your ears should change the sad sounds of hell into good.  Then your mouth should speak only glad words of salvation.

Look at everything in the world through God's parental eyes.  If you are able to do that, you will become a victorious person who is approved by as God's true son or daughter.

This task is more urgent than anything else.  You should get to the point that while doing this work, that you forget about time, the calendar or whether it is night or day.

Therefore, be proud of being persecuted.

When you have to do this work through a harsh wind and cold, wet rain, be proud of it.  When you have to do it with your shoes broken, be proud of it.  When you meet someone along the way who curses you, be proud of it.

Since you are like God and like Father, your worst worry is that people will ignore you.

True Love Most Valuable to God

Why is it that everyone has a yearning to return to their birthplace?  Everyone has a desire to restore their memory of the place they first received love from the family when they were young.

Hometown is a synonym for Love-town. 

When your parents grow old and die, you will visit their grave site even if you feel sad and lonely.  You will feel nostalgia and will return again and again.  It is the memory of love that pulls you back to that place.

Why did God give us five senses?

Through each of our senses, we can feel true love.  Our eyes wish to shed tears at seeing true love.  When there is true love, there is no boredom to be found.  You always want to see and hear more and more true love.

When you are surrounded by true love, all of your senses are filled with joy.  Your whole body is a chunk of true love.  If you burst into pieces after you roll down the Himalayas, you do not burst as an individual, but it is the center of true love that is bursting.

God is almighty so that He can protect true love and keep it intact. 

No one can accuse God of ever misusing His power, because He only uses it for the purpose of true love.  When you represent the center of true love, the entire universe will come to protect you because you are the most precious entity in the cosmos.

Nothing is more precious to Him than that.

If there was a chance that true love was shattered into pieces, God would reassemble it into something better.  He would probably hold tight onto it because there is nothing more precious to Him than true love.

The only reason for the existence of the universe is the central theme of true love.

A lot of women look in the mirror every morning, wash their face and wear something nice that will make them even more beautiful.  They do this because it is their inherent nature to want to be presented as beautiful and liked by others.  So, they present themselves in the best way to embrace other people.

What is the power or energy that inspires us to look our best?  I think it is the drive of central true love.

Most people today just exist from day to day like vegetables without thinking of central true love.  This is the most tragic kind of life.  How can one interact and live without love?

Our God-given original nature is always trying to move toward the center of true love, but wickedness in the world tries everything in its limited power to block us from receiving it.

Every human has a conflict between their good nature and their satanic power.  Everyone tries desperately to be happy in their own environment, but they just can't maintain true happiness.  Therefore, people just go about their day just existing and become vegetables.

These people can be likened to thousands of fish caught in a series of nets in the ocean.  They see the net in front of them and think if they can waddle their way out of it they can be happy.  Yet, they do not see the series of nets laid out before them.

It is heartwrenching to watch the struggle of that first net.  But if they can make a titanic leap across all of these nets, then there is hope for him.

Therefore, the only way to happiness is to jump over all that is blocking the path to true love.  If a fish wants to be free from the obstacles, he must think about jumping up toward God's direction instead of trying to break through each net one by one.

He may think that such a leap is impossible, but then he notices a line that is thrown in every once in a while.  All the others may be nonchalant about seeing this line, but other awakened fish get excited and grab the line as it passes overhead.

What if this line passes over just once in a century, or once in a millennium?  Then, if you miss the opportunity, you would have to wait one hundred or thousands more years.

The Messiah is this hope - that rope.

What kind of rope can liberate you totally from the satanic world?

The messianic rope alone can bring you out in one stroke. A minister offers a rope which presents some hope, with the power to bring you across one fence, but still you will not make it all the way. You need an extraordinary jump which will carry you all the way outside the nets. Is it selfish to think in these terms?

The Jews waited thousands of years for that lifeline.

Christians have waited 2, 000 years for it.  Unfortunately, that line has come, but we are all chained by the world that holds us down.  We can see it or reach it.  So, even if we were to grab that rope, there is a heavy chain linked to the sinful world that prevents us from lifting off.  This is the spiritual victory we must win.

It is impossible to break through all of those nets alone.   What if you did not jump high enough to catch the rope? You would have to wait another millennium until that lifeline passed again.

Therefore, we must liquidate the chains that holds us to the past, and old habits so we can catch this rope and lift our  ancestral line with us.  How do we catch this ride in order to restore our fallen lineage?

First, you must cleanse yourself ideologically.

How purified is your thinking?

Have you ever quieted your mind so you can see the kinds of thoughts that dwell there?

Is it central true love or is it mixed with impure thoughts?

There are many -isms in the world today, just like a department store full of things to buy.  The only person who can monitor your brain is you, so, check what kind of -ism lives there.

Only you truly knows how true or false you are.  You know who you are and what are the habits and -isms you have.  Everyone knows what goes through their brain.

Since you know where you are, when you go to spirit world you have no excuse for not working for true love. 

Medical science can record your heartbeat and the electrical functioning of your brain. In the same way, you cannot hide from spirit world because they know exactly what you are. What's in your mind.  Everything is in the open in spirit world.  Nothing is hidden.

When you see this kind of standard of central true love and you compare it to your reality there is no reason that we should loftily think that we have earned our place in heaven.

Do you really think you have earned heaven?

Our goal in life is to find the center of true love.  Can you do this quietly or will you want to advertise it and let the whole world be shakened by this truth?  Of course, you would be controversial and let the universe know.

The greatest of all searches in history is the search for true love, in all corners of the earth. 

You must let the universe know, only then will you have a hope of finding it.  This is the quickest way to true love.  

Reverend Sun Myung Moon who gives these speeches explains this further:

When I made a stir in Korea, the whole nation was shaken, and now all Asia is shaking. People called me names and made incredible accusations, and in the midst of that I could hardly believe that people were still following me.

But the greater the suffering I went through, the greater my following! Even when people tell you not to become a Moonie, you still come.

People even came to see me in prison. The longest line of visitors in history was the group which waited to see me pass down the prison hall. They even stood for 24 hours. I did not speak kindly to those visitors: I demanded to know why they were there instead of out witnessing. 

They replied that they missed me and had no power until they saw me. Tears ran down their faces as we spoke, and the prison officials couldn't understand what was happening. I was not handsome or important-looking, but not only young people but even grandparents and children came to line up and see me.

When you own the center of true love, that is what happens. What is the most colorful street in New York? Have you gone to Times Square to shout out, "I am here to find the center of true love"? You probably think people will look at you strangely. 

If you are embarrassed and concerned about all the old things but insist that you want the center of true love, will you find it? Why can't we just live quietly and behave like normal people and still have the center of true love?"



The person who sees many wicked things and hears wicked sounds, who has many things to say but is patient and waits, and who has the experience of suffering and persevering through incredible circumstances, that person deserves true love.

Do you look for love in a peculiar area or in an ordinary area?  You should know that true love is not easy to come by.

Who, then is the center of love?

God has witnessed many atrocities by humanity here on earth, but still He has hope that His dream ideal world can be built.  He has never lost that infinite hope for our future.  Has anyone else carry such conviction for thousands of years?

This is how we realize He is the center of true love.

Even though God is the subject and center of love, there are many layers of fences surrounding it.  God has become a prisoner through the barriers humanity has created.

Still, through all of this time, He has been patient and withstood His lonely and painful circumstances.  

If you want to reach God, you have to run a sort of obstacle course around all of those fences.

It is not easy.  You may feel overwhelmed by peoples' negativity.  But in that moment you can immediately think of God's situation.  Think of all of the people who have cursed God.  Did He get mad or kill them?

God was patient in the most heartbreaking moments of human history.  So, you should be stronger than God in receiving their hostility.  When you talk about tears and your trials, do not forget how patient God has been and how He has suffered.

How would you talk about just your own position in the work of restoration without thinking of His?  When you think of God in the process of restoring humanity, you will see that He is always ahead of you.

Protect Your Sexual Organs

In the same way husbands should love their wives as their own bodies. He who loves his wife loves himself.  For no one ever hated his own flesh, but nourishes and cherishes it, just as Christ does the church, because we are members of his body.

"Therefore a man shall leave his father and mother and hold fast to his wife, and the two shall become one flesh." This mystery is profound, and I am saying that it refers to Christ and the church. However, let each one of you love his wife as himself, and let the wife see that she respects her husband.


Ephesians 5: 28-33


In all of creation what is the most precious entity?  Man and woman - human beings.  What is the most important part of the body?  The nose, the eyes, mouth, hands or the brain?

It is the sexual organ, because it is the main organ of love.  Everything in the universe can be recreated through the love organ.

All living things whether plant or animal multiply through sex.  The most precious family is one that lives united in love and realizes the value of their sexual organs as the sanctuary of life.  The sexual organ occupies the position of incredible value where blood lineage and all of history is connected.

In order for God's principle to create through male and female who share pure love, they must absolutely have only one love partner eternally.  There is absolutely one man for each woman and one woman for each man.

This is why God did not create two Adams and two Eves.  Unfortunately, in today's world, false love has degraded God's original idea.  Some children have many stepfathers and women have many children with different fathers.

This is why it is of the utmost importance to protect the sexual organs for marriage.  When men and women practice chastity, they are protecting the universe.  Disciplined love between man and woman is the foundation of the universe.

One should not give out their love to just anyone as if they are animals, love can only have one owner.  The word "true" in true love, does not allow the possibility of more than one partner.  There is only one love partner.

This is absolute law.

Not just anyone can say "true love." Only God can really love with true love, and only God absolutely owns true love. God's true life, God's true lineage, and God's true conscience emerge from true love. In this way, the most fundamental essence of God is true love.

To connect with true love, we must first relate with God. A child might say, "My mother and father don't fight and we live well," but that doesn't necessarily mean that this is a family of true love.

"A young man and woman may say, 'We are so much in love that we could die,' but that doesn't mean this love is true love. If God is not present, then it is not true love. True love always centers on God. To become God's son or daughter, we first need to connect with God's love, life and lineage."

What makes a person relate to true love?

One who has a lot of money or power automatically true love?

Surely one who has great knowledge, degrees or military strength.  These attributes do not guarantee one is welcomed in the world of true love.  We all want true love, but this high-quality love is only possible when we live for others.

Our lives are in service and sacrifice for our partner.

When we meet someone who has the kind of thinking, "Everyone including you should live for me."  Everyone will avoid this person, they are very unpleasant to be around.  This is Satan's thinking and his strategy.  Selfish individualism has covered the world like a brood blanket.  It is a tool to keep God's children in Hell.

By going in the opposite direction of destruction we should live for the sake of the whole in everything that we do.  When you live for others, serve others and sacrifice for another, everyone and everything will come and love you.

We are created as God’s children. As we grow in love, relating to brothers and sisters, becoming husbands and wives, giving birth and raising children, God is present each step of the way, harvesting true love.

As our Parent, God observes and guides us as we develop into mature human beings that can relate directly with Him.  God becomes the owner of love at each stage.  Because of this, we can say that in a sense, because God owns all love, human beings become more precious to God than He is to Himself.

Think deeply.

Without God interacting with humans He cannot experience love.  It is the same in nature.  Even though a lion is the most fierce in the animal world, without a lamb or antelope, though thought as lower than a lion, a lion cannot survive. This is Principle.

Isn't it beautiful when we think of the original creation God had planned for us?  He did not leave anything or anyone out as important in the world.  The movie "The Lion King" called it - or sung - the circle of life.  It is the same as when we attach thousands of times more value to the person we love than we do to our own self.

When we think in this way, we are on the pathway to Heaven.

The way God is: He invests Himself completely into those He loves and then forgets his investment only to investment more than 100 percent again.  This is how over thousands of years, even though God did not reciprocate all He gave, he could continue on the painful path toward restoration and invest Himself.

A wife who wants her husband to be a success, should think in this way.  She should invest herself 100 percent into her husband and then forget this investment.  Through investing and forgetting, she enable her husband to achieve his full potential in life.

If both partners continue to invest in one another and forget, then the level of that love becomes greater and is elevated.  Then they will ultimately find themselves connected to God.  This is how we have eternal life: By establishing a parent-child relationship with God.

Those who think that we can live in any way we want on earth and just believe in God or Jesus, how can they go to Heaven if they do not connect to God on earth first through a high standard of living?

"Everyone wants to go to Heaven, but those whose attitude is "Everyone should live for me," will not get there. True love begins with embracing and living for the sake of all God’s masterpieces of creation. The way we can reach Heaven is to live for all humankind and ultimately for God."

How can we indemnify the fall, the crucifixion of Jesus and the persecution directed against the family of the Lord of the Second Advent?

During our lifetime, we should go in the opposite direction of the world which lives for themselves and own individual purpose.  We do this by having at LEAST three experiences where we dedicate our lives fully to someone or a higher purpose.

We should not look for praise even if we pass through death and resurrection three times to sacrifice our lives for another.  This is how we meet God.

What if everyone you meet lived in this way?  This would be called the Kingdom of Heaven on Earth.  This is the path that the Messiah is teaching through the Completed Testament, The Divine Principle, and the world of peace he is building.

Does this seem like a simple task - Kingdom Building?

Children are the fruit of a man and woman's love, life and lineage.  Children do not fully understand their origin and say that everything is theirs.  They do not regard that their parents are the root and the trunk and the origin of everything that they say is theirs.

Without our parents we are orphans or would not be born at all.  If we break the ladder of love that connects us to our parents, then we cannot live.

Even into adulthood, we find ourselves in some manner still wanting to have approval of our parents.  We still care and love them no matter how old or faraway we have become.

"We are the sons and daughters of God, the parent who is the origin of true love. Parents are the highest masters of love for children. The parent-child relationship is vertical and the husband-wife relationship is horizontal."

The four-position relationship or foundation a family creates between husband and wife, siblings, parent and child and God form a sphere freely circulating in love around the center.
All love is united and this is why all beings are brought about in love and the universe as a whole.  This love achieves a peaceful dynamic harmony around the central point of this sphere of love relationships.

God resides in this center.

The vertical parent-child relationship between God and His children is at the center with he man's love life and lineage on the right hand side and the love, life and lineage of the woman on the left side.

The love of siblings occupy the front and back of the sphere.  Centering on this relationship of a family, the entire universe achieves balance.  When we picture this interaction three dimensionally  we see that God is the ultimate origin of love, life, lineage and conscience.

This God-centered family sphere is untied as one.  This family will multiply throughout the ages as tribe, society, nation, world and cosmos of love.  Through all of these relations, God is always the fundamental center.

Because our first family failed to connect completely to God, they did not realize the original ideal God had for His family.  Adam and Eve were to acquire God's direct blood lineage and become True Parents.

Instead, they became false parents.  As a model of God's true husband and wife, all of mankind would have also become True Parents and True Children.  Throughout history, God has labored to restore the lost True Parents who can establish a pattern for the world to follow.

Jesus was to become a True Parent and be the model of not just a brother but a true husband.  This has been God's process throughout history to bring salvation through restoration.  This is the explanation why Jesus he would return in our time.

Adam and Eve were not able to fully become the parents God had envisioned at the time of creation.  When Adam and Eve bore children, they would have overseen their children's marriage.  There would be no such thing as divorce in all of history.  In today's society, we should seriously see the shortfall of parental involvement in their children's marriages.

The Messiah, restored the True Parentship, formed the Unification Church and gives the marriage blessing to all the peoples of the world.  These marriages are inter-faith, interracial and intercultural - but these marriages transcends more than these differences.

"The True Parents reject evil love, evil life and evil lineage, but they do not cast out Cain, who murdered Abel. Everyone, including Cain, receives the same blessing."

In the ocean, there is a point during the changing of the tides when the forces of the outgoing and incoming tides are at equilibrium. There is a similar turning point in the Providence of Salvation (restoration through indemnity) in the balance between the forces of good and evil. By blessing good and evil people at the time of this turning point, Satan can be expelled completely.

The fall occurred because man made an error involving the wrong use of love and marriage.  Now the Lord of the Second Advent as the True Parent restores this error by marrying God's children in the proper order.  Through the clearing of the problem of the fallen parents, True Parents are destroying hell by giving the blessing of holy marriage to billions and tens of billions of ancestors in the spirit world.

When husbands and wives and families went to the spirit world, they were separated and went to the level of spirit world that correlated to the way they live on earth.  Now, Father and son in the spirit world can be united centered on the foundation of a God-centered family of true love formed by you and me who are their descendants that live on Earth.

This family foundation also connects the Eastern world and the Western world through the marriage blessing.

What does an ideal family look like.  We have spoken about this in the last few posts over the week, but what does a true family appear?

This type of family consists of husband and wife, brothers and sisters, parents and children who all desire to come together in true love.  This family is the beginning point of an eternal effort to include and enable all the people of the world to experience the full blessing God has been wanting to give humankind and feel love and joy.  This is the how we will begin to see Heaven on Earth and the Kingdom of Heaven in Heaven.

"I hope that in the coming millennium, the 360 million blessed families located around the world will become one with the True Parents, and lead a new family revolution centered on true love and a worldwide revolution of morality so that a world of eternal peace can be established on Earth and in Heaven."

Preparing Leaders to Save America

What makes a great leader?  Is is someone who gives commands to their subordinates easily, a person who has accumulated many degrees and years of knowledge?  It is a question the Dr. Reverend Sun Myung Moon has asked many times to his congregation.  Here he speaks to a class of Unification Theological Seminary graduates:

"You see me here, such a short distance from you, in a very intimate way. However, you have no idea what I have been doing during this time. Many things are going on in my heart, in my mind, and in my actions.

If you don't know what I am doing now, you are even less aware of what is happening spiritually. So much has been happening spiritually that you have no way of knowing about it. I originally asked how much you know me; it is not an exaggeration to say that you know me very little.

As recently as last night, I gave Bo Hi Pak a hard time and scolded him severely. His eyes popped out; he was completely shaken. Even someone as dedicated as he is, and someone who serves me so closely, didn't know me well. I know him completely, but he doesn't know me. Since I gave him such a hard time last night, I was waiting at breakfast time to see whether he would show up, and when he did show up I looked at his face to see whether his eyes were bloodshot from lack of sleep. They weren't.

I treat leaders like that because I am preparing them to face greater difficulties in the future. I want the leaders always to be prepared. The best way is to scold them, and let them react. This is one of my strategies for training leaders. If you know my principles, you should strive to follow my example."

I personally trained the first UTS class

"I am very happy to see you UTS graduates. I feel a special affection and affiliation with you, because when the school was built, I drove from Tarrytown to Barrytown virtually every day for three years. I spent two and one half hours on the road every day in order to meet with you and speak with you. If one day passed without seeing you, I felt empty.

That is what I invested to raise you up. I trained you so much, because that first group was the pathfinders, the compass. Unless I put them into shape, establishing the right tradition, I would not leave a good tradition at UTS. I tried to set the best possible tradition at UTS by going there and teaching every day.

Members of that first class have unforgettable memories, because I put you through many strange experiences, such as carp fishing on the Hudson River. I sent shivering, frozen men and women into the water for many hours. I made fishing nets that are still there. Do you think I was just aiming for more carp?

I caught many carp, but not one ended up on my dinner table. I often went out deep-sea fishing, but not because I wanted to eat fish. My only focus was to give you unforgettable experiences and teach you my tradition. You went through difficult times. You were hungry and cold, but I was there with you, touching you, pulling you.

You used the net I made, and fished by my side. No money can buy such memories. This is the new tradition that you should leave to posterity. How many of you alumni here today still cherish the memory of those experiences? How many of you really value those days that you spent with me?"



This Nation Must Be Saved

"At that time I had a noble ambition. I knew that difficult times would come for the United States and I would need leadership prepared for that day. I knew that this great nation would diminish and probably even go down the tubes. Determined to raise up this nation and save it, I brought the leadership to UTS to prepare them for that day".

America could boast itself as a hopeful Christian nation full of strong families of faith and now we must reevaluate the situation of America today.  AIDS, immorality and drugs are rampant.  The young people in the nation are dying and alongside the physical death of the nation is the spiritual death.

This wealthy nation is in a poor spiritual state and needs to be saved.  There must be one champion that can stop the nation from slipping into the quicksand.

Reverend Moon continued to tell how he came to America as a doctor to cure the sick or a fireman to put out the flames in which the country has been blindly engulfed.

"One time Jesus passed a tree along the roadside that was not bearing fruit, and he cursed it. When I am going down the streets of the United States, and curse this nation for its lack of leadership to cure its ills, I always feel that I am the one, that I have my people to do this thing. This is how I think about you UTS graduates. I cannot let this great nation slip down the drain.

I toiled in this country for twenty-one years. My labor cannot have been in vain. If I leave America for good, how many of you would remain to pursue my goal to the end? Right now every one of you thinks you would. However, to back up your thoughts with deeds is something different. There is so much distance between your thoughts and your reality. Everyone knows that the United States is declining. America is decadent. In order to save this country, there must be sacrifice. A price must be paid to save this country."


You Must Take Over My Mission

"I cannot stay here permanently. I have a job to do in Asia. I have to bring unification to the Korean peninsula. There are 3.2 billion people there waiting for my message. I must move on. When I move on, how many seminarians will say, "Father, leave it to us. We shall guide this nation. We shall be Rev. Sun Myung Moons here. Don't worry about the United States"? By words and promises I would like to bind you together.

That's the purpose of your coming today. I would like to bind you together in a promise that UTS will initiate the "Save America" movement and take over my mission. Say, 'Yes, Father, we are your direct heirs, your champions, your children. We have inherited your tradition, your methods, your truth. We will take care of this country.'

The flame of UTS has been burning. Now I want to use that flame to burn up all the iniquity and unrighteousness in this country. Truly you will become the saviors of this nation. I can say this because only you were taught by me. There are no other people who deserve this kind of statement. Promise that you will multiply the flame three-fold, ten-fold, twelve-fold. Pass down the torch until the fire is burning everywhere in this country.

When you stop the decline of this nation, you will have truly carried out my role, which is to save America. You will ignite the resurrection of the American people. A firestorm of resurrection shall begin, but someone has to ignite the people, and I am looking at you seminarians to be the sparks. Two years from now, in 1995, you will celebrate the twentieth anniversary of UTS.

A great deal of time has elapsed. You have grown. By then there will be a thousand alumni or more. One thousand multiplied by two is two thousand; multiplied by three, is three thousand. These are the forces that shall ignite the moral and spiritual revolution in this country.

The flame, the torch, shall start burning high and bright in America. Good seeds must be taken and planted in other fields as well, all over the United States. Become a seed and plant yourself in this society. You are the heirs of my teaching and tradition and spirit. Those who pledge to begin this movement, raise your hands. God bless you. If you keep that pledge, America shall not decline."


Be the Savior of the Nation

"As much as I have trained you, led you, and guided you, giving you the tradition, you should lead your juniors, and guide your children. UTS is the forum of the movement. Recruit people for UTS, knowing that I need future leaders as well. Bring them in, thereby multiplying yourself. UTS will erupt in a volcanic explosion for America.

That campus shall ignite, and foment a revolution for America. When you look at me and the things I have done, can you feel to the bone that you will be responsible for the United States, that you are the saviors of this nation, that you will stop the decline of this nation, that you will make America prosper once again?  You shall be central figures for that mission.

As much as I love UTS and love you, you should love UTS, your juniors and your children, creating a patriotic movement that will inspire love of your country, love of your fellow man, and love of the world. This is how you shall expand the horizons of the people, so that we can make another golden era for the United States.

You built many things during your school days. We will preserve your accomplishments as part of the founding spirit of the school that started out from me. Thus the genuine love for your school can be translated into genuine patriotism."

When will Rev. Moon give us money to repair the Mission Center?

"That is a very irresponsible way of thinking. This is not my house; it is your house. Even if I have lots of money, still you should say, "Father, you have lots of places to spend your money. Here in America, we'll take care of things, particularly the World Mission Center. We will clean it, and make it the most incredible monument in New York." I have not heard even one person, even with a ten dollar bill in hand, say such a thing. Not even one person is concerned about it, as far as I have heard.

I am not an American citizen. My job is done. My mission is over. This World Mission Center shall be here fifty years from now, a hundred years from now. Certainly by that time I am not going to be here. I may not be on the earth. In the coming decades the entire world has to go through the Unification community, because there is no other hope for resurrecting humanity. This building is the monumental holy ground, a holy building. Somebody has to take care of it. This kind of thinking represents the hope of America, and the future is bright with this hope."
